Harana in Hammersmith and Fulham

I come regularly for work to the area and found this place about 3 years ago and have been coming a few times a year ever since. Superb food, decent quantity and efficient and friendly staff.

Lovely. Sitting here at the end of a pre-gig meal, watching the passing traffic on Uxbridge Road. Service prompt and friendly, portions generous, food is excellent. The baba ghanoush deserves a special mention. Prices reasonable for West London

This used to be our favourite local Turkish restaurant, but not anymore. Our first post-covid visit was a bit of a disappointment. Yes, the food is still great, but portions are significantly smaller, which combined with increased prices makes it not the best value for money. Also, first time ever we got charged for chai in a Turkish restaurant ☹️ I understand that prices everywhere have gone up, as businesses are still recovering from lockdowns, but this is simply a no from me.

The food is good but for what you are charged it is not worth it we had hummus bread and guy gave us salad sauces did nt realise were chargeable they do this in places to take advantage of you being new to place. I had soup partner had adana kebab and I had meatball stew we had fries and bulgar, this totalled to 60 I’ve eaten in loads of Turkish place with 4 of us eating at less than this amount so were shocked by bill let’s say. I wouldn’t return on basis of price and sneaky items they add to your table to increase the bill

We were 11 people including adults & kids. We were greeted by Friendly Elena, who was a fantastic host from start to finish . We had a variety of grilled dishes, Islander & pasta. It was amazing how every single dish was cooked to perfection & the seasoning was second to none. On top of superb quality the portions were huge as well. Harana is top of the list in any of our future trips to London. Thanks Chef & the team 🙏🏼

Up in the Bush to watch QPR. Three of us ate here. Lovely food, good service and a real sense of hospitality and generosity. The prices may not seem cheap but free bread and salads seem to accompany all the meals. Sadly QPR lost but lunch was a winner

Excellent food and service. My wife and I only had main courses, but the meals came with bread, dips and a large fresh salad, which was in total as much as we could eat. Thoroughly recommended.

great turkish food. pleasant surroundings and there is outside seating. portions were huge. not cheap but good value. worth a visit.

This outstanding Turkish restaurant should not be missed if you happen to be near Shepherd's bush Station. Food is amazingly tasty and they serve big portions for a very good price. What's more important, the staff are really polite, welcoming and kind. Don't miss it!

From the moment you walk in the smells are fantastic. As well as the lamb, which we both had, the baba ganoush was superb. Very friendly service, good quantities, definitely worth going to

The interior was full and loud: we happily sat outside. My companion is a regular there and had to collect the menus, go in to order the food and pay. Our meals (sea bass and a lamb dish) were excellent, and the portions were very generous. The salad offered as part of the meal was tasty too. My companion enjoyed her mint tea, and my ginger tea was delicious. Watching the world go by and on Shepherd's bush Green was part of the pleasure.

I don't give many 5* reviews as everything has to be perfect to do so. I could find nothing to fault in this fine establishment. From the friendly welcome, through the warm ambience to the excellent quality of the food and the great value for money, this place ticked all the boxes. Portion sizes were very generous too. Standout dishes were the Iskender Kofte (chargrilled mince kebabs served on pitta bread in a rich and tangy tomato and yogurt sauce), Babaganoush (chargrilled aubergine dip) although the falafels and the icli Kofte were also excellent, as was the fresh and tasty salad they were served with. Of course we ordered too much food, but the waitress didn't bat an eyelid when we asked for take out containers, which raised a few eyebrows at Shepherds Bush Empire (where we were headed for a gig)!

We had an excellent dinner here - really tasty, home cooked value for Money. Well looked after by staff. You must give this restaurant a try- it might give the appearance of a cafe/takeaway but it would beat any 1st class restaurant hands down - thank you for a wonderful meal.

The food is amazing the serving sizes are large and the staff and owner are lovely and welcoming. Heartily recommend coming here.

We ordered main courses only and they provided a delicious bowl of mixed salads and pitta bread whilst we waited. I had a fabulous lamb an aubergine stew which was full of flavour and plenty of very succulent lamb. It was served with a bowl of rice which was nice but not really necessary. My friends had kebabs which were excellent quality and served with 2:types of rice. Prices were about what you would expect for the area and quality. The staff were particularly helpful and friendly.

Truthfully, I found this place mystifying. Why? Three of us ordered food. Two of the plates were great but one was cold and bland. The service too was erratic: why ask a 53 year old customer if their 59 year old friend is their dad? Weird!

We had mixed kebab and it was very nice and tender! The portion was well sized, we shared with it between us and we had also the falafel starter. Very crispy and went fantastic with the hummus. Generous with complimentary bread and salad. Definitely recommend! And visiting again as well.

Went twice for dinner and food was delicious and portions were generous. This is a simple restaurant focused on the food quality and service. Will definitely return.

Service is a bit confused. They missed one main meal, also we had to ask for bread for our starter four times. Don’t forget that they will add 10% service charge to your bill. Food is middle of the road.

Ate here last night prior to a concert at Shepherd's Bush Empire. Its just a cafe with very basic decor (dont expect it to be a restaurant) but the food was really lovely and plentiful. My partner had a stew and I opted for lamb shish which came with rice and salad. Delicious warm bread with dips was complimentary before our meal arrived. The house wine was surprisingly good too. Service was friendly and efficient, no complaints at all. I'd definitely eat there again when next in the area.

It was busy so we were lucky to get a seat. Friendly staff who made us feel welcome. It was great to see such a mix of people eating, singles, couples, families. The service was good and the food freshly prepared over a charcoal grill. The chicken shish meal came with salad, bread, garlic and chilli sauce and was delicious. Food prices very reasonable and house wine not overpriced. Service was quick.

This place was recommended to us. its near the O2 Shepherds Bush, and patronised by a very eclectic group of people. it was full at 6pm on a Monday, which is incredible in London. We soon saw the reason why- an excellent selection of fresh food cooked to order and served up by a cheerful and friendly staff. prices very cheap. well worth a visit if you like good food. Wine was very reasonable too.

Tuve hígado de cordero que estaba bien preparado y mis amigos tenían lubina que también disfrutaron. Comida a un precio razonable y volveremos de nuevo.

Late Sunday night visit for 2 vegetarians. Fantastic food and really good service. Highly recommended.

Cenamos anoche en Harana, cerca del centro comercial Westfield de Londres. El personal era atento pero no agresivo, la comida era excelente. Teníamos el mezze para dos, qué ganga. Tanta comida deliciosa que llevamos para lo que no pudimos terminar y la comimos hoy para el almuerzo. A un precio razonable, bien vale la pena el dinero.

In my opinion the freshest and tastiest grilled lamb chops and chicken shish in London. Great portions, friendly and attentive staff and excellent atmosphere and value for money. Highly recommend this place. All the food is excellent, I just hooked on the lamb chops and chicken shish combo :)

Straight forward middle eastern eatery. I had the falafel for £12 odd, it was delicious. Served in hummus with fresh salad and warm bread. The falafel had a cruchy shell and soft inside and it was spicy. Really tasty. Everything was fresh including the orange juice. Everyone there seemed to be talking about how good their food was.

We always visit when we are in White City and are never disappointed. The food is amazing and the staff lovely. We had the Ottoman banquet and finished with Turkish coffee and Turkish delight.

Als alte London-Fans sind wir immer wieder auf der Suche nach uns unbekannten Quartieren, so diesmal Sheperd's Bush. Nahe der Tube und Busstation fanden wir spontan das Harana, setzten uns draussen mit Blick auf den Fun-Park hin, und wurden nicht enttäuscht. Frische Salate, fein zubereitete Falafel etc . etc. Wir kommen wieder!

Went for dinner and was surprised of the quality of food and the very pleasent staff. Please remember the portions are large when ordering. Finally ended up with three visits before leaving London.

Hemos estado en Harana dos veces ahora. La comida es absolutamente deliciosa y tiene un valor increíble. Me encanta la comida a la parrilla, la ensalada y el pan fresco, ¡y esto cumple todos los requisitos! Mi marido tenía el cordero y pollo a la parrilla y pensó que estaba cocinado a la perfección. Tuve el halloumi a la parrilla y verduras a la parrilla. No soy vegetariano, pero esto es tan delicioso que no pude evitar ordenar de nuevo. El personal es amable y acogedor, y sin duda volveremos. Está a 5 minutos a pie del centro comercial Westfield ya 2 minutos a pie de la estación de metro Shepherd's Bush y definitivamente vale la pena una visita.

Fuimos aquí como vimos algunas buenas recomendaciones. Al llegar, pasamos de largo pensando que teníamos el lugar equivocado, pero mi amigo insistió en que era el lugar correcto y entramos. Nos saludaron calurosamente y nos sentamos. Teníamos que empezar, pan dulce suave y una deliciosa ensalada fresca. Mi amigo tenía el estofado de cordero que parecía enorme! Tenía un kebab de halloumi que era salado, crujiente, ¡y tal como debería ser halloumi! Las porciones son muy grandes, la comida está bien sazonada y muy fresca. No dejes que el frente de la tienda te desanime, por dentro es una joya. El lugar tiene un ambiente muy animado y el personal es muy atento y muy dulce. 2 (enormes) comidas, algunos refrescos y entrantes llegaron a 40 y nos fuimos sintiéndonos muy llenos. I was meeting with a friend in Shepherds Bush for a meal, and we decided to drop by here as it was getting late, and were aware Harana stays open till late. As is usual with Turkish restaurants, we were given complimentary bread and yoghurt to start off with, and also an elaborate complimentary salad, which was very nice of the chef. Both were great, and healthy – perfect to tuck into while you wait for your mains to arrive. Speaking of mains we went for a lamb shank dish and a adana kebab dish. Both were terrific and filling. In particular, the lamb shank was cooked to perfection with the meat falling off the bone as it should. By the end we were completely stuffed, thanks in part to the tasty bread and salad at the start. We left full and happy

Vine aquí con mi familia para la víspera de Año Nuevo, ya que mi esposo la disfrutó la última vez que estuvo allí. La comida era muy sabrosa no hay quejas en eso, pero en el lado caro. Pedimos las ofertas especiales donde tiene una combinación de entrantes y un plato principal 46 Creo que para 2 personas para compartir sin incluir bebidas. El espacio está atascado, especialmente cuando la comida se prepara, literalmente, a unos centímetros de distancia de usted puede ser intenso.

I ordered a lamb kebab meal win rice and salad. It was delicious and the food tasted fresh and clean. However, the restaurant does give the impression that the restaurant is slightly run down and the display of food doesn’t look that fresh. Having said that - the food was good and the takeaway service was fast.

We had a quick bite to eat here on our way to the Shepherds Bush Empire last night, it's only a couple of minutes walk from there.

We grabbed some late night food here after some beers and going to a gig at the Shepherd's Bush Empire. We didn't fancy eating in, and so elected to get a takeaway, which I can confidently state that - this is one of the best takeaway kebabs I have ever had!

Nous avons pris des wraps de falafels à emporter. Ce fut vraiment délicieux. Très copieux et très bon pour un prix très correct .

Siamo arrivati a Londra abbastanza tardi e abbiamo cercato un posto vicino all'hotel che fosse aperto fino a tardi. Le foto dei piatti erano molto invitanti, la realtà un po' meno. Abbiamo preso un piatto di meze fredde per due, era abbastanza buono ma non ai livelli di altri ristoranti provati, soprattutto per l'hummus e il babaganoush, molto sotto la media come sapore. Visto che avevamo ancora fame, abbiamo provato le meze calde ma il piatto ci ha deluso abbastanza, era tutto frutto e/o impanato, un piatto molto pesante di difficile digestione.

Ate here a few times now before concerts at the O2 Empire absolutely beautiful fresh and tasty food. Great food, great service and fantastic value for money. Looks like a take away from outside but it is also a restaurant and I would highly recommend.

Portion size is good. Its turkish cuisine. We really enjoyed the food, the service I would give 10/10. Great location too. Definitely recommend.

We visited London in July and stopped at the Ibis Hotel at Sheppard’s Bush, we fancied trying something new and have eaten at most of the Restaurants in this area, we popped into the Harana, and we were given a warm welcome and a good table.

This small restaurant also has a terrace and is very close to Shepherd Bush station. We had delicious cold meze and grilled chicken, all served in copious portions and at very reasonable prices.

Tutto molto buono, piatti abbondanti, personale gentilissimo. Assolutamente consigliato. Buonissimi i falafel, e tutti i tipi di carne serviti con abbondanti contorni.

The salad was not over sauced or too sour. The lamb kidney was well grilled even when it still has a strong kidney taste. The rest of the ingredients were all made fresh. The Turkish delight at the end was a nice touch.

Regards less of the time of the day I’ve been to Harana the food has always tasted great and has stood out as one of the nicest restaurants in that part of London

Dined here with my son last week because of many good TripAdvisor reviews and we were not disappointed! We had a meze platter for 2 for starters but had we known the tasty bread w/ sauce and large bowl of salads were included in the dinner we'd probably skip the starters. The platter had several dishes (2 of each), every one of them delicious. For main we had chicken shish wrap & lamb shish wrap with fries - amazing! In the end we had to ask the waiter to pack half the wraps for us since we were simply too full to finish them on the spot.

Friendly prompt efficient customer service and delicious food at a reasonable price, generous filing portions, and the complimentary hot bread is a great starter

Whilst in London, I usually stay in Kensington and this is the place to eat for real, freshly prepared Turkish food. Prices are reasonable and service is excellent. And they serve beer!

Todo en el menú era fantástico! Me encantó el hummus con aperitivo de cordero. Todo venía con porciones grandes y tuvimos un tiempo difícil no pedir todo en el menú. Nos fuimos con demasiada comida para llevar con nosotros. El camarero era muy amable, aunque no muy fluido en inglés que pudimos superar fácilmente. Este restaurante fue abierto hasta tarde, y estaba bien de precio. Queríamos comer aquí de nuevo antes de regresar a casa, pero simplemente no tienen el tiempo suficiente.

Hay una carencia de buenos restaurantes en la zona, y que normalmente Al Forno mullidos para, justo al otro lado de la verde, pero me apetecía algo diferente en esta ocasión. Está en el top 10%, así que consideramos que el territorio seguro. No es el restaurante más salubre que jamás visita, pero no me puedo quejar del servicio o la comida. Sigue el modelo de restaurantes turco que he estado antes, con la comida preparada en vista completa de los comensales. Nos instalamos en mezclado con ensalada de kebabs, y patatas fritas. Antes de eso, nos sirvieron pan pitta con salsas, todo gratis. El plato principal era demasiado para nosotros, y tienen "bolsas de perro" para las sobras, pero eso no era una opción para nosotros esa noche. Con un par de copas cada uno, llegó a menos de £50, incluyendo un cargo por servicio. Digno de consideración si estás atrapado por elección.

Las alas de carbón pollo pedimos con arroz y ensalada además de una coca-cola. Pollo era tierna y arroz y ensalada fresca eran abundantes. Pan de cortesía, salsas para postres y delicias turcas completaron este delicioso festín! Todo por 15 libras. El personal también era bastante atento.

Absolutely discussing lamb kebabs. I really wonder what kind of meat that was. The plate wasn't clean, the fries were untasty, and I prefer to forget about the kebabs as I might be sick just thinking about it. To be avoid

Great Dinner, food was sooo good. The Ottoman menu, £ 39.95 for two was probably the best Turkish fare we've eaten. Not even Turkey got so tasty food.

in London on Thursday looking for a restaurant. all those in the Westfields close disappointingly early. walked along Uxbridge road dismayed at only fst food crap . Then saw Meze and went in hoping not just a fast food kebab place. Impressed it WAS NOT....

On a really cold day I noticed through the window, a tray full of lamb shanks, cooked in casserole with onions, peppers, and the occasional potato.

Went in by chance, since we stayed at the Dorset Hotel. Great little place, food was so tasty! Big salad, plenty of meat and fresh bread starter. Staff were smiling and serviceminded, very nice!

I work in Shepherd’s Bush once a month and every time I eat lunch at this Turkish restaurant. Been here at least 8 times now.

Miejsce dość tłoczne ale w porządku, klienci to głownie Turcy, bardzo miłe, uśmiechnięte kelnerki, jedzenie bardzo smaczne, zamówiłam SHISH CHICKEN/LAMB chyba takie danie jak dobrze pamiętam ;P było bardzo smaczne, dodatkowo podane z gorącymi chlebkami oraz napojem, polecam spróbować, gdy jest się w tej okolicy, warto!

Un montón de opciones vegetarianas y comida vegetariana. Almorcé con mis colegas aquí y fuimos para la envoltura de falafel con patatas fritas - muy sabroso y una buena parte. El hummus es delicioso! Muy buena comida, buen servicio.

Was trying to find place for lunch at 8pm and suddenly I passed by the restaurant where I can't resist the smell and food behind the class.

Just had a wonderful lunch at Harana. We started with a selection of starters--the hummus, falafels, halloumi and a very generous serving of tabouleh. All were outstanding--the halloumi (and turkish bread) were still warm, and the falafels had real flavour. We then moved on to their specialty lamb shank stew dish, which was huge and very tender. The service was attentive and friendly. Overall, it was the best Turkish meal I've had in ages--highly recommended.

We were six people so we ordered a set meal. It was good from the starter to the meat main course. The meat was well cooked with amazing cooked wheat added into the dish. The waitress was nice enough did her best but seemed very tired. The only criticism I would have was the price of the canned soft drinks. We still had a lot if food left and we all ate very well. Definitely would recommend this place and the kitchen was open so you could see the cleanliness. Same goes for the bathroom.Will definitely go again.

The food was excellent and the service very efficient. The only bad moment in the experience was at the beginning when my husband and I asked for tap water, the waitress brought us bottled water instead. Also, at the end when we asked the bill, they included the tip without asking us.

Great place for some good Turkish food in the Sheperds Bush area. Price might be higher than usual in the area - but great portion sizes and great service. Good menu option and service is quick and attentive. I always go for the mixed kebab when there. Pure quality and service with a smile.

I stumbled across this restaurant one evening in early summer when I was in the Shepherds Bush area. To be fair, it looked like a 'canteen' from the outside, it's small and by no means a fancy restaurant, but looking through the glass, the food looked fantastic! and I was not disappointing. The meat is on point, delicious, succulent, tasty, cooked to perfection. I've been back numerous times since. Most recently, I turned up with a party of 9. We were given royal treatment, and served hot food (starters mainly ) off the grill as we waited for our mains, falafel mainly, the rest was salad, humous and hot bread. The service for me has always been good 8/10 but food and general vibe 10/10. If you want amazing turkish food, or just some good meat, or feel like a persian but something tastier, Try Harana Meze, one of my favourite restaurants in London! My husband had the chicken Kebab - which was excellent.. I had the Malaysian Prawns - large prawns it was excellent - we loved the fact the cooked in front of you. Value for Money would love to go back - but not sure if we would stop in Shepherds Bush again.Staff so great

Visited Harana a few times over the last few months for both lunch and dinner and have always found the food to be good quality, well prepared and tasty. The service is also good and overall this is a great place for authentic Turkish food.

I Was passing by looking for some place to eat and pop in accidentally without thinking much. The food is amazing and portion very big. I have to say I was really impressed.Will visit again definitely!

Without a doubt this is the best Turkish restaurant in the area, but also it is probably the best value Turkish restaurant in London.Always come here every week for lunch from work.

We have already been in this turkish restaurant before in a previous holiday and we visited again this year. Good food very well served. Good sized portion.

My niece recommended this place I ordered the kofta in a wrap with chips my niece ordered the lamb shanks and my sister ordered chops which came with rice. My niece and myself thought the food was great.came hot and very tasty. Why can't birm restaurant be to this standard. Chips were great too can't fault this place ... I would definitely come again. My sister thought her chops were a bit chewy so knocking the one star off but otherwise thought it was great

Went there several times the last couple of months, both alone and with friends. Food is consistently good, and atmosphere is relaxing and friendly. Tried the salads, kebabs and grilled fish, it's all great, and prices are reasonable. Highly recommended.

My husband and I have been in London for a week so far and just happened to walk in to Harana when we were really hungry. The food was so good we've been back 3 times in the last week! The services is wonderful, the restaurant is always busy serving people. We have yet to have a dish that is even just "so-so". Lol. Do yourself a favor and check this place out. But wait one week till I go back home. I want to make sure I can still get a table while I'm here in London one more week.

Stumbled across this place across from the green. Everything was fresh and deliciously prepared. Good wholesome food - Turkish pride to the fullest. Packed with favours, spices and straight from the fire. I had the mixed kebab - wow. Chicken, lamb, two types of rice, strips of meat - succulen, literally melts.The other picture is yogurt saram chicken beyti.Worth a visit 100% will definitely be coming back.

My wife and I were disappointed that Quashies Roti Hut had closed. But now we've found this!! Haven't had a bad meal here on the two occasions we've been here. And next time we're in uk it's on the menu....

A very nice cosy restaurant offers ranges of dishes near westfield shopping centre. we has mixed grill with rice and chips and chicken soup with bread. the food was amazing and the service was good

Had an amazing comfort food here at Turkish restaurant called Harana. I had lamb stew with aubergines, potatoes and bell peppers in it. Enjoyed the pickled chilli, the bread and my ginger beer. Try their Turkish coffee and Turkish breakfast is a must. You'll love it. For hangovered like me this is the perfect place to be sober! just few minutes walk from Westfield and Shepherd's Bush station.

Lamb chops to die for, great salads. Everything I've ever eaten there (most things on the menu...) has been excellent. Good sized portions, you'd never leave hungry....Friendly staff, a really vibey restaurant.
