Hansom Cab in Kensington and Chelsea

Shock !!! Came in with my kids for family lunch.. the food was amazing as always. But not once have I heard such a disgusting language by the staff and on top of the fact that kids were there during lunch time! If your not kids friendly then you should state that on your website!! It’s really a shame. I won’t be coming back for sure.

Prices are a bit steep for what they offer. Food is okay, the burgers were a toss up, either overcooked or undercooked. Plus a service fee on the bill.

Lovely staff and a good layout with a saloon at the front and cosy lounge seating at the back.

Very quiet the day I was there but pleasant enough

Nice location close to the bus stop. That's why we had a beer there. Unfortunately, 2 our of the 4 beers have not had a good temperature. That has a negative impact on the great selection of beer they have there.

The house white wine is horrible! It is diluted and they have even tried to offer me another option to change the wine…

Had my worst ever drink served in a pub at this place! I ordered a Diet Coke and the lady serving said "Are you sure? You definitely want a Diet Coke?". It was bizarre, but when the drink arrived I realised why, it tasted like soap and chemicals (Even more than Diet Coke normally does). I took it back and explained the issue and the lady said "Yes, I thought it was strange that you ordered Diet". I asked if I could have another one and she and the guy behind the counter explained it would "just taste the same". Bizarre. Obviously there was some issue with the keg or something, it was probably almost empty or had gone bad somehow. I have had this once before somewhere else and the staff apologised, explained and changed the keg and got me another one. Didn't happen in this pub. Didn't offer me a refund either. I tried to persist with drinking it but admitted defeat about half way through the pint. The first time I've ever been to a pub and not finished the first drink! Nice ambience but obviously run by people who don't know what they're doing or more likely just don't care. Went somewhere else and wont be back!

Came here for a Sunday Roast and was not dissapointed! It was quite quiet when we came but service was brilliant. Food was lovely for a reasonable price (about £18 per roast). Everything was cooked to perfection and there was a decent selection of drinks. Would recommend :)

We popped in for a drink. We really liked this place. They do a good Guinness according to my husband. My G&T was nice. Dilly chips were great. The atmosphere was warm and friendly. We will return.

Nice location not sure what kind of vibe the pub as…good beer selection… food I can recommend from my experience… the fish and chips wasn’t cooked….the manager didn’t really know what to do… as specially I didn’t want a new one after 20 minutes for the first one… when it 9pm not to busy…not coming back

A very bland and uninteresting pub with no atmosphere. There are much better pub options nearby including the Britannia in Allen Street or the Scarsdale on the other side of the square.

Great place and great ambience with nice indian people working behind the bar. Abhi and Wilma were very kind and friendly as bartenders helped me choose from the menu and told me about their fish and chips from their menu was one of their best food served there and it was absolutely amazing. Havent had such great fish n chips anywhere in london. Enjoyed my time there and relished the food and drinks. Definitely will return

Had lunch today to celebrate my son's Holy Communion, we had a really good time ! I had the lamb keema burger it was so tasty ! Good portion size, the chunky chips are super crispy ! The hansom Cab burger was really good too ! Some people chose margarita pizza and it's really tasty ! They also have Lillet Rose and it's so perfect for warm weather ! Thank you for a super service, we are lucky to have you around the corner 👍😎

Enjoyed a good meal here after a day in London. We were staying nearby so decided to try it. It was better than traditional pub food. I had the fish and chips which was hot and prepared just right. Husband had a burger which also was good. Service was great as was the atmosphere. Not too crowded.

Seemed a decent pub, had a good pint of hazy IPA in there (I think Goose Island?) and an outdoor seating area on the road. Could easily see a sunny Saturday afternoon session there. Sausage-flavoured crisps piqued my interest also.

Nice little smart pub in a quiet residential area. Nice little bit of outside decking for a bit more outside space. Perfect for a quiet pint with friends.

Served us just at last orders. I was very thankful we just made it on time.

Today I received an email stating that they have cancelled my booking for someone else..this is with full knowledge of offering a deposit in which they refused to take. They have tarnished my girlfriends 40th birthday plans and have been so unprofessional it's unbelievable. Such disgusting treatment. If this is how you treat people, don't bother booking here at all.

Sunday roast. This was the worst roast I have ever had in my life. There are no redeeming features of this meal. I cannot overstate how revolting this food was. Place is incredibly grubby, dread to peel into the kitchen. I wouldn’t serve this food to my worst enemies. On your head be it if you eat here. Friendly staff.

This pub sits on the corner of picturesque Pembroke Square and Earls Court Road and is just a ten minute walk from High St Ken tube to get here. . It’s a Victorian pub with some lovely columns around the ground floor facade and is painted in a light neutral grey. On the upper floors you can see the original stock bricks and an art deco sign eluding to the name of the pub. . Inside it’s bright and airy with lots of comfy leather and upholstered sofas and chairs to rest your laurels. At the centre of this pub is an ornate bar with some detailed cornicing and dark woodwork. There are a couple of TV’s and the overall feel is contemporary. . The beer choice was good and I decided on a pint Mahou which is becoming more readily available these days. My pint was decent and at just over six quid was in line with the area. The food menu was full of pub classics and pizzas, fish & chips cost £15. I visited about 1.30pm on a Saturday and there were only a few punters in attendance. An oldie but a goodie. Staff helpful good selection of beers on tap. Chairs and tables in the road feels a little odd but hey, that's what we do now...

I paid 14.5 pounds for an industrial pizza.

Got the pricing wrong twice. Simple gin and tonic. Tonic warm, wrong accompaniments. At the price they charge, expect to get a basic drink right. Expect to get tonic cold. If basics are done poorly, concerned on rest.

Great food and awesome service.

I can't say I like it when a pub adds service charge to an order when ordering at the bar, particularly when it makes a beer cost nearly £8. They forgot my food order and had to raise it with them at the bar. So I got charged a service charge for really poor service. Scenes behind the bar were disorganised despite not being that busy. Got the impression they'd given a bunch of family and friends jobs without knowing what they're doing. Saw another man return a roast and ask for a refund.

Lovely pub, liked the seating area outside beside the garden centre. Great selection of beers and lagers, among other drinks. Will definitely be going back to try the food as the menu looked good. The owner is a nice friendly guy as well.

I came here for a quick dinner and a beer. The beer options were very straightforward and the staff was very helpful. I ordered the cheesy fries and said that I was just looking for fries and cheddar cheese, but instead when the order arrived it was fries with mornay sauce (similar to a béchamel but with cheese). It was a bit disappointing because sauces (as opposed to just cheese) will change the texture of the fries and make them soggy. This means that some of the fries were crispy but others were drenched and soft. Additionally, I do not like sauces because they tend to have salt in them in addition to the salt on the fries. Overall, they were very salty and had uneven texture.

Great place. Wonderful host. Best fish and chips I ever had. Highly recommended.

Came in on Wednesday 29th, we were visiting family in Luton and was our first time in the pub. Ben the bartender was very accommodating and we ended up order side orders for our meals which were delicious! Would definitely recommend this pub as we were looked after by staff and the food was lovely.

This place is great! seating area is well arranged - The entrance front is a bar and backside is restaurant seating style which makes the pub look unique and there's outside seating area too. There was also plenty of room for bigger groups. Great Customer service.. absolutely the best dinner I have had while in central London. Highly recommend! I have tasted most of the dishes from their menu.. if you are a fish and chips person.. this is definitely the place to try it..Singh burgers are really relishing as well.. Do try their dessert - chocolate fondant it's yumm 😋 can't wait to return and wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone looking for somewhere to eat in..

Craft beer has gone! This pub is now ran as a weird Indian fusion affair only normal boring beers and strange Indian inspired £14.00 burgers etc.

The Punjaab burger was fantastic! Perfectly spiced, great flavors. The salt/pepper fries were very tasty. And the beer selection was good. Wife had the fish and chips, she enjoyed it but preferred my chips (fries). Definitely a great place to stop off for a beer or food.

I loved the outside vibe yesterday as the day was warm most of us was taking advantage of the outdoor space and it was lovely to see diverse crowd. The service was slow but friendly and it is a little bit over priced for local pub.

My friends and I saw this sign outside the pub and we thought why not, 1 drink before going to the other pub for roast. We were not in this pub for long but it's a local pub with a lot of character. Best part it's next to a garden centre ;) The staff was friendly and attentive. I'll be sure to come back again for food after I've been to the garden centre.

Roast beef in my Sunday roast was grey and rubbery. Gravy was watery and bland. Service was nice and friendly but the food needs improvement.

What a disappointment this pub was. With only Camden Larger on offer, this is definitely NOT a craft beer pub. I have no problem with Camden larger, but one beer does not make a craft beer pub. To make matters worse, there was an overwhelming odour of what I can only liken to an aversion to soap and water and deodorant.

Traditional pub with outside seating along the pavement. Just one real ale choice, Doombar, which was in good condition. Staff were friendly enough but lacked enthusiasm. Reasonably priced food, tasted alright.

An enjoyable pint in a lovely pub situated on the corner of Earls Court Road and Pembroke Square. Plenty of choice for keg beers, only Doombar for the cask fans though, London Pride looks like it is normally on though. Lively atmosphere with many in for the football. Outside seating available on Pembroke Square. Staff are lovely and attentive. A good stop for a pint (or three).
