One of my favourite pubs in Wimbledon Village. Visited again on a busy Saturday evening (13/04/24, a very warm day) . Staff were extremely friendly and found us a table immediately. Though it was busy ,staff were smiling and very accommodating ,as they always are! My friend and I ,had drinks and a few dishes to share and snack on. We had the camambert , chips, roasted cauliflower and the hummus. They were all delicious! Hand in Hand never disappoints!

We had a lovely evening and Poppy looked after us very well. She was attentive, friendly and went out of her way to charge one of our mobiles. Food was fabulous. Just as feedback the Kale on the 'sausage and mash' is rather garnish than a element of the dish. Would be lovely if there was more of it. Thanks for a lovely evening.

A great pub with super food (sandwiches, small plates or full meals) & a proper kids menu of food they’ll eat but good food too. I’ve been coming to this pub my whole life, since early 80s. Presently it has echoes of those days, great heritage, but with comfortable seating in alcoves and dining areas.

Went to this 'country style' pub for Sunday lunch. Lovely atmosphere, fast service, delightful staff and good quality food. The only improvement I can suggest is for chefs to make sure the food is warm enough and to maybe serve gravy and bread sauce on the side rather than on top of the entire dish? A couple of our meals were tepid rather than hot. We didn't complain because the quality was really good.

A very Merry start to our Christmas with such a festive cornucopia of delights! The atmosphere was aplenty and staff very welcoming. As a solo diner with dog on a Christmas Day lunch I was a little anxious to what our experience would be like.. any weight was lifted like Santa’s sack to his sleigh from the moment we arrived! Our table was beautifully decorated with all the twinkle and wonder I could imagine. My dog Oli was well catered for with treats coming in every direction to keep him sated and with his very own water bowl. My Christmas meal was excellent quality and value. I had the turkey and it was delicious as were all the extras and scallops for starter. Pudding was a push but excellent and wonderfully stodgy! Thank you to everyone who made us feel so welcome and blessed there’s no question we’ll be back for a Christmas lunch in years to come.

Want to feel like your are in a quaint little countryside village pub, but not leave the big smoke?! Come here! An incredibly welcoming and cosy pub with lovely staff who are attentive and will serve you at your table. Food is on the pricier side, but well worth it. Their pies are made to order and one of the best I've ever had. We also enjoyed a lovely charcuterie board when we got peckish whilst playing some games and enjoying a cider (or two!). You don't have to order at the bar or via an app which is a welcome change nowadays. Make sure to book in advance as they are always busy which is well deserved. Super family friendly and also lots of little nooks for a couple to settle down for a drink or two. This is an outstanding establishment and I wish more pubs followed their lead. This is a must visit if you find yourself in Wimbledon Village- come rain or shine!

I'm so glad that the Hand in Hand has events like these and I really hope that they'll continue to do so. The event was hosted by Deputy Manager Janis with wine and spirits expert Abbie Bell as our expert instructor co-host. Located in the intimate surroundings of the Bakery surrounded by candlelight, we were treated to a fantastic four course tasting menu with a glass (or two) of Nyetimber Classic Cuvée on arrival (made with mostly red grape varietals). With a properly tutored tasting this was one of the best events I can remember the Hand (or Youngs in general) managing and I really look forward to them expanding the events programme to encompass wines as well as their twice yearly beer festival and monthly beer masterclasses. The champagne (sorry, English sparkling wine that tasted identical to champagne!) was paired with smoked salmon blinis with goat's curd, avocado purée and caviar. This was followed by the Glenmorangie 10 yr old which was a perfect starting whisky and that was served alongside a platter of wonderful meats that included fennel salami and freshly baked homemade focaccia which was particularly light and airy. The main was a special homemade venison pie with a bone marrow crumb which paired alongside a really interesting Balvenie double wood cask 12yr old. It had body from the first barrel but interest from the second sherry cask hints which gave it a fascinating after-taste. The evening finished with the peaty Laphroaig 10yr old with Bath soft cheese, strawberries with black pepper. fig and spelt crackers and some absolutely delicious homemade ginger truffles. We didn't want to leave! Oh and all this for £45. Sign me up for the next one.

I’ve had the pleasure of calling this my go to pub for many years. It’s a proper traditional pub with a modern kitchen attached. The atmosphere is always welcoming by Andrew and his team. The food is good and there are normally 4-6 real ales to choose from and a host of lagers ipas etc. Even though this is a youngs pub, Andrew has one or two guest beers which change weekly. There’s always a buzz about the place with plenty of nooks and crannies to tick yourself away if you want a touch of privacy. The pies are a must if you don’t mind busting the diet for an evening.
