Hana in Islington

I place an order on deliveroo due to the nice reviews seen on this app, unfortunately the food was not like I expected it. The fish looks like piece of plastic, especially the tuna sashimi, even the edamame were with no taste at all and looks not fresh, for the price is not worth it. I would like to have a refund.

Possibly the best sushi ive ever had. And super accommodating with my gluten free diet too - they have gf soy sauce and even did a deep fried soft shell crab gf. Shame they don't allow dogs inside

After Dotori changed hands I spent years in the wilderness, searching for a replacement. Hana sushi is easily the best sushi restaurant I have been to in the UK.

I love hana sushi! It’s a hidden gem located in North-Central London and it’s prices are reasonable for massive portions. The food is authentic and I love everything I’ve tried so far :) Chicken is halal! Haven’t asked about the beef before

Good menu. A lot of bento options. Staff very nice and welcoming. Generous portions and great food. They also have Ashai beer. Very reasonably priced. Maybe one of the best local restaurants in the area.

Excellent local Japanese restaurant. Food is fresh and authentic while prices are very reasonable. Bear in mind that it's a pretty small venue so book in advance for weekends, if possible.

A brilliant little sushi restaurant where you would least expect it. We have eaten in and taken away both sushi and noodle/rice dishes. Everything has been generous in size and tasted amazing! Staff are really friendly and helpful. Can’t wait to come back!

My favourite sushi delivery place in London! I always get the same thing - crispy veg maki and nasu dengaku which are both vegan. Never disappoints :)

Had a chicken Ramen bowl for lunch, delicious. hot steamy noodles and what should be middle of summer but this was much needed.

Lovely presentation and freshly made 👌,there is many options for pan Asian authentic dishes. Must try dragon roll and chicken katsu bao

The Chicken Karawage bento is fab as is all the menu.

My fave secret London sushi place. I was ecstatic to see Hana survive pandemic lockdowns and hybrid work. Food is excellent and very reasonably priced. They have some original dishes like the Seven Sisters Roll. Really a great little find. Highly recommended.

Pizza was black , all burned in bottom

I was trying to get the option for the half meter pizza but couldn’t find it? Bit of a long wait and pizza was cut in a very strange way but overall yummy!

The pizza was ok. But aubergine in cheese was a yellow clump with green chewy strips.

Delivery man came with a massive SUV and didn't bother parking it to actually deliver the pizza to my door so I had to go downstairs myself and get it from him while he was comfortable in his car. Very poor!

Ordered 2 pizzas to be delivered for 745pm, luckily I got home at 715 because they delivered to me 5 mins after I got home. The pizzas were also cold and not cut. Seemed like they made the pizzas without reading the delivery time until they were already cooked. Then sent them out just before it got cold instead of making fresh pizzas. Not impressed at all

I got my food about 1 hour and 20 mins after ordering, despite the place being quite close. I had left directions in my notes but apparently the first driver couldn't find my place (and didn't ring me!). When someone else eventually delivered, the cardboard box was wet and not closed properly (as if the box had been opened). Of course the pizza was cold. I had asked for a refund after the amended ETA was late too, but they refused to offer it. Thanks a bunch.

The pizza was nice enough, but arrived quite late, and instead of the garlic dip I ordered I received a tirimasu.

Absolutely shocking! Food took two hours to arrive, the site wouldn't let me cancel the order when I got notification of how long it would take, stating that "the food is being prepared" - however when I called the restaurant after the food arrived, I was told that the food had been made right before the courier had picked it up. When I asked the courier why it had taken so long, he told me that there was only one person working in the restaurant! On the live chat your operative would only refund me the garlic bread that had been damaged by a melted tub of tiramasu that I did NOT ask for, with £5 compensation for the delay. This is my first ever experience ordering from Just Eat - I can assure you it will be the last.

The food was delivered completely cold over an hour late! When i was trying to call restaurant nobody answered the phone. After over hour of waiting for food the driver didn't even let me know he was outside. I heard a car so i checked from the window and noticed a guy talking something from his car. Really bad experinece. I totally not recommending this place and not going to order the food from them ever again. Very unprofessional..

The pizza was not even warm unfortunately. I called the restaurant immediately however I didn't receive an apology. She said it came straight from the oven. Maybe it did but the pizza was still pretty much cold. Won't be ordering from this restaurant again.

Ordered 8.15, original estimate 9.05, revised to 9.55, finally arrived 10.33pm over two hours after ordering. Stone cold. Extras (fresh rocket) missing. Not acceptable. They have really gone downhill since last year.

I ordered a meat lasagne they phoned me and told me there were no pasta dishes so all I could get as a replacement waspizza, which I didn't enjoy, my chicken wings didn't look cooked properly so I cooked them myself to actually brown the wings and I paid £3.00 for a litre bottle of water and they sent me 500ml, really not happy at all

Last three orders from here have arrived slightly wrong and slightly cold, with latest order arriving with random pistachios on top?! Shame, because when it’s right, it’s really good.

Ordered from this place before. They make great pizza, but unfortunately the pizzas took forever to process, they were cold, and late. I will order again, but I would probably call and pick up.

Fresh tasty pizza, nicest I've had in a while.

Food was late then pizza turned up COVERED in whole pistachio nuts which firstly isn’t listed as an ingredient on the one I selected and most importantly I have a nut allergy meaning I couldn’t eat any of the food. Whoever decided to replace Parmesan with pistachios needs training

Fantastic place! We have been eating in Hana pretty regularly so were extremely happy to find out that during the lock down they will keep their delivery services. It was the first time we have ordered their take away and it was not only as great as eat in but also arrived within 45 min. Thank you Hana for another amazing dinner!

Super pizza. Beats all around here hands down. The crusts are a meal in themselves. Few quid more expensive than other rivals but quality is supreme. One tiny thing, they forgot the hot chilliest but it was still good.

Delivery Guy was so rude and pizza was so cold but pizza really delicious

after waiting for one hour of delay we also got a pizza with pancetta after saying PLEASE NO PANCETTA AS WE ARE VEGETARIAN> on top of all of this the delivery guy was coughing and sneezing. unbelievable. never again!

Food was delicious worth the wait

Pizza had stodgy dough, potato topping was undercooked, didn't have the ingredients listed. This restaurant is always a roll of the dice when it comes to quality.

I didn't get yet my order. I don't know what's goin' on but for sure after 2 and plus hrs waiting for it I will never open my door to them.

Delicious pizza’s that stays open late!

I visited Hana with friends a few times while I stayed in Islington, absolutely loved it. Service is great and very authentic, definitely worth going out of your way to visit.

In my life I tried a number of Japanese restaurants (some of them really expensive) and I couldn’t be happier of knowing this amazing budget one. Good & Service. Just lush

It’s not the first time I have problems with this place. They keep sending food that have ingredients that are not specified on the menu. I am allergic to dairy and more than one occasion they sent sushis containing dairy to me. Last time I ordered this it happened too and after a lot of arguments they sent again my order so when it got to my home we received unripe avocado sushi’s. Veggie and meat option mixed together. One word: disgusting. Don’t bother eating there

We ordered in. Sushi was stale. Barely in chicken in the teriyaki. I couldn't believe the amount we spent on this awful meal. Overpriced. We'll never order again.
