one of the best greek restaurant's i have every tried 10/10

We attended the restaurant this evening on the expectation that it was going to be an authentic greek restaurant. When we entered we were greeted amicably and the decoration was very authentic with greek music. The service was to a good standard, however the Fish courses we ordered were far below par. The fish was not fresh as mentioned in the menu. With fresh fish the flesh is flaky and tender. However, my dover sole was rubbery. The side of vegetables was not of great quality and unseasoned as well as the side of roast potatoes. The only positives were the service and the houmous starter. Overly expensive for very poor quality fish. I wouldnt recommend. There are better authentic greek restaurants out there. So better to look around than be dissapointed as we were!!

Very fine food and staff, nice place.

No thanks, never again. Totally overpriced with poor quality - but with 2 hairs in the food it was just disgusting. The atmosphere also resembles a train station.

The place is so nice, I always go there whenever I fancy eating lamb. One of the best places that offers lamb dishes. The food portion is good. The salad is amazing. I love their fries, one of the best. The service is not as good as before, although the waiters were nice. (and it wasn’t crowded when I visited).

The restaurant is beautiful and has many good things, and it is one of the restaurants that I must go to every time I visit London But the problem is that it is narrow at times

Halabi Restaurant is worth trying once in a while. The place is small, the atmosphere is delicious, the shoulder and kebabs are delicious, and many of the dishes are unique

The restaurant is excellent, but very small and narrow It is decorated with pictures of Arab kings and leaders They ate in the same restaurant The lamb shoulder was ripe enough and delicious Service is provided with a smile and speed They offered me the hospitality of a plate of sweet lokum I recommend it It deserves 5 stars To whom I gave 4 stars Because the price is expensive, one person cost me 34 pounds

The food was divine, fresh & authentic. They were so accommodating towards our kids food preferences. Overall it was a great experience and we will definitely be back next time we’re in London.

The food doesn't live up to the overall grade. Desserts are a complete horror. The atmosphere is like at a train station, and they also show us with their appearance to leave faster. After dinner my husband got a stomach ache. I think the kitchen is unsanitary.

Extraordinary cuisine but a boss who is more than unpleasant and cold, making you understand that we are not in your place, a shame and funny billing at the end which does not correspond to the price indicated and the products consumed. Finally, a huge thank you to the young waiter for his welcome and smile

To order the lamb shoulder, you must book a day in advance The restaurant does not need praise at all, it is very excellent

Dined at Halepi and it was an absolute delight. The food was a feast for the senses, authentic flavors that transported me straight to the Mediterranean. The service was impeccable, attentive without being intrusive. And the atmosphere? Warm and inviting—perfect for both a casual dinner and a special occasion. Highly recommend for anyone craving genuine Greek cuisine in a charming setting.

Un petit resto près de notre hôtel, qui est vite devenu notre point "cantine" le soir en rentrant de nos journées de visite à Londres. Là cuisine y est goûteuse, l'ambiance familiale. Une adresse que je recommande, bon rapport qualité /prix. Mieux vaut réserver, surtout le soir, salle petite et toujours bondée.

I found a nasty long hair in the lamb shoulder order. I need to say no more. The manager refunded the money but was somehow rude and judgmental.

Fantastiskt god mat, bra betjäning och trevligt bemötande. Det gäller att boka bord om man skall få plats på kvällen. Det är ett populärt ställe.

Lekker, leuk, zeer fijne Griekse voeding, sfeer en bediening. En mijn hondje was welkom (maar hij stoort niemand). Top!

الصراحة مطعم ماخذ أكبر من حجمه بكثير.. الشيء الوحيد الجيد هو الريش.. أما الباقي فهي عادية. ويعيبهم المكان الضيق جدا والخدمة السيئة تحس انه راعي فضل عليك لما تاكل من عنده.

They are famously known for their Milkfed Lamb. I got the chance to try it and must I say, despite its basic presentation, it tastes really good 😋 I noticed that this restaurant is very traditional in the way that the staff operates. The staff are friendly but unfortunately it was hard to call them at times. I wouldn’t mind coming back as I enjoyed my meal, just the only thing that I would change are the seats as they are a bit uncomfortable as well as the tables are all close by to each other, they do that to accommodate more guests but I do feel like they could work on that, there’s potential ✨

The Lamb was amazing proper family run business, food was great service was great just really cramped inside

Octopus salad was my favorite dish ! I used to hate lamb, but this place changed my mind. After trying their lamb, I find out I actually love it ! The staff were incredibly friendly, too. I definitely want to go back.

I’ve been to Halepi a few times & usually the food is excellent. This time we weren’t so lucky unfortunately with our main meal. We ordered the milk fed roast of lamb leg we ordered which comes with rice. The lamb was overcooked and dry and the rice was undercooked. It was really busy the night we went so maybe the pressure was a little too much for the chefs. The service however was excellent and our waiter Abbas was delightful. The atmosphere was also buzzing and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves & the food. I think my wife and I were just a little unlucky on our night and will definitely be going back to give them another chance.

Ontzettend duur betaald voor een heel simpel en smaakloos bordje vlees. Ruim £70 voor 2 kale bordjes vlees en 2 biertjes! Deze tent snel voorbij lopen

These people need to learn how to cook rice, It was quite hard. The tables are so compact, very little space. Everytime someone gets up they accidentally hit my chair. Overall very great service.

On of the best restaurants in UK 🔥🔥

Talk about the feeling of authenticity stepping into Halepi off the London street you’d think you were transported to a little restaurant in Greece. Wonderful decor & music to set the mood. Also, some great memorabilia over the years from patrons you might recognise! With a very warm welcome we were swiftly escorted to our table. We were provided with the menus & almost immediately had some olives to the table, service not requested but automatically provided a genuinely nice touch. We had a few dishes and each were served fairly soo after ordering, were hot and with beautiful presentation. The lamb koftas were packed full of herbs & spices a triumph! The lamb shoulder just melted away from the bone, was succulent and juicy. We opted for a vintage bottle of Greek wine which was full bodied & smooth. My goodness what a throughly wonderful meal and experience. Very reasonably priced too. A throughly and easily deserved 5 stars, wish I could give 6! Thank you all for a fantastic evening.

An incredible experience. I stumbled upon this restaurant 6 years ago, and I never forgot it. I was back in London this weekend and had to go back, and all 6 of us were blown away by the hearty food warm greeting and treatment by its staff. The plethora of salads and starters to share on the plate is a joy to behold. Not to mind it’s main courses, all of which will leave you wanting to come back, just like I did despite the wait. But I never forgot, and I’ll be going again in the future!

This place was a blast and the food was amazing! We were eager to try it but there were no reservations available online but when we stopped by they said they could squeeze us in! Yay! We were so glad they did. We had a large hummus, large Greek salad, mousaka, fresh pita bread and chicken kebab and rice and it was all sooo good. The wine was great and the atmosphere was fun. Really nice staff and music playing, clapping and a birthday at a table nearby. Someone also got the whole chicken and it looked amazing too. Our 5 year-old loved it, too!

Amazing food and service until they rip you off with a Corkage Fee of £50 that they write on the Bill in pencil to see if they can scan the full amount out of you! Very disappointing we discussed this with waiter and in reality the charge made no sense - he dropped it to £40 - that’s what we had to pay to get out of there …. Never again - they see a tourist and want to rip them off rather than expect repeat Business. :(

Lamm perfekt gegrillt, innen rosa, Grillteller grosszügig. Sehr aufmerksames und freundliches Personal. Vorher reservieren ist wahrscheinlich besser, wir kamen ohne Reservierung, das Personal fand Lösung. Haben einige Restaurants in den letzten Tagen besucht aber dieser Grieche war bisher das Schönste. Ein paar schöne Stunden erlebt. Wie immer etwas eng in den Stuhlreihen, London eben. Danke.

Piatti tipici greci in uno storico locale di Londra frequentato anche dalla famiglia reale. Ottimo il cibo, buono il servizio anche se un po' confusionario ma è tipico anche quello. Prezzo ottimo, considerando i prezzi londinesi

Extremely friendly people here. A historical place and a family operated restaurant, you would definitely taste home made dishes. We made our reservation online but a walk in was possible as most of the tables were not occupied during lunch time. The lamb shoulder/leg looks too much in the plate but it would barely cater for 2-3 people so have some side dishes to aid your appetite for authentic greek food.

We’ve been going here for more than 20 years and never had a bad meal or service. It’s a must for us in London every time we go.

The staff was so unprofessional and rude. Their behavior with delivery drivers is worst. Their behavior shows the sign of resist.

The food was amazing. Had the mixed grill and all the meat was perfectly cooked. The tzatziki was great too. Would definitely recommend.

A comida é boa, mas o atendimento só foi bom quando a garçonete Brasileira passou a nos atender. Como chegamos sem reserva, fizeram questão de nos servir muito rápido, inclusive a conta. Não recomendo.

First of all, they acted like they were doing us a favor by seating us. I have had saganaki (flaming cheese) all over the world and this was the worst - not melted with little to no flavor and not served flaming. Spanakopita and Dolmades were decent. Lamb and fish were fresh and good sized just not the robust Greek flavor you would expect. Service sub par. The male waiter/ host looked at my wife like she was crazy when she asked for more pita bread.

A wonderful restaurant in London and many Arab princes have visited it. The taste is good and the services are excellent, but it is better to get a stone before arriving. It is worth a visit when you visit London
