So let me tell you about my two experiences of this establishment. I can only say amazing things about this place. Firstly the customer service was top notch 10/10 for me. I spoke with the owner Emre and he was a delight. Watching him interact with all his customers with a smile on his face and taking time to get to know them was a breath of fresh air. I had the honour of speaking with him and was blown away by his attitude and kindness. Even when I visited the second time he remembered my name 👌🏾. The food was 10/10 both times. I had burgers and chicken and it was excellent. I can’t recommend this this establishment any higher. Everything is quality please go and visit Emre you will not be disappointed. Absolutely lovely and friendly staff who are so welcoming and accommodating of everyones needs. Emre is especially inviting and serves everyone with a smile and goes above and beyond to make you happy. Definitely recommend this place!!

I Would Highly Recommend The 1 Large Lamb Doner Kebab Meat with Chilli Sauce in a Box with 3 Pieces of Southern Fried Chicken Thighs and 1 Portion of Chips and 1 Pepsi Max Drink. Delicious and Excellent Quality Service Every Single Time.

Ordered a mixed grill. Several pieces of chicken and even less bits of steak. All on a piece of narm bread. £12.99. Where were the mushrooms egg tomatoes and bacon and peas. A real rip off. Will not be going back

I recently tried H&H Fried Chicken and was thoroughly impressed! The service was quick, and the staff was friendly. I highly recommend H&H for anyone craving fried chicken. Definitely a 5-star experience!

One of the best chicken places I've been to in the country, and I've been to a lot. Some of the friendliest staff I've ever seen and really quick, solid service. There every single night out I've been on in St Alban's and I'll keep doing it. Class place 👍👍

I found the staff member I had the misfortune of encountering to be obstructive, uninformed about the very basic elements of how they trade and downright rude. The ‘cash only’ obstacle was rather a difficult one to get my round too. Surely accepting card payments would be to their benefit. I visited this place as recommendation, sadly I will not be returning.

I don’t usually say this out loud but I work for a Michelin star restaurant as a grill chef. Chicken shish in this shop is way above what you eat in an average takeaway. Flavor is amazing, meat is juicy, succulent and cooked to perfection, smells heavenly, it is all spot on. Meal is as good as what you eat in a Michelin star restaurant. It is so good, I bring my friends here. Highly recommend 👌🏻

Very disappointed, chicken in the chicken shish kebab was very poor quality meat, there was no salad and the chips were clearly reheated, all in all, £30 for 2 poor quality kebabs and a portion of chips was not a great feeling. Needless to say won’t be repeat business from us

People are very dude and dangerous. Once owner come to my car and started kicking my car for no reason, I called police but before police arrived they deleted the cct footage.

Awesome place with cool guys and dank food

Never been before. Theres not many late night places in St Albans but now and again I find myself coming back from work late for whatever reason. The cash machine outside was broken and the guy who served me went out of his way to accommodate me by allowing me to pay over app where I would have been otherwise screwed. Very friendly and appreciated. Food piping hot and decent. The shop is also very clean. They clearly care. Will go there again whenever I'm in a similar situation.

So disappointed. I have a disability and chronic illness and started to feel unwell after making an order without my carer here. I realised I wasn’t strong enough to make it to the door and I tried to cancel my Deliveroo order which restaurants can do. They refused, didn’t answer my 5 calls to them and I couldn’t eat the food out of fear that it was spat on or tampered. Never again!!!

Came in tonite and ordered a large chicken shish. Im sorry to say gentlemen but it was terrible. Just lumps of meat almost no salad just grated carrot and onion with a couple of tomatoes. The whole thing was then drenched in what tasted like bbq sauce, which I hate. After a hard days work I get that, a waste of £13. I won't be back. There's a kebab shop at the top of London Road that sells really quality kebabs, thats the place to go.

Nice little place very close to the station. The staff are really friendly, and have good rapport with customers, even new ones. The food was pretty good, I enjoyed my fish and chips. The decor is interesting, with almost every wall lined with hundreds of Polaroids of customers posing for photos at the restaurant from I'd say quite a few years ago. I'll definitely come here again, if I'm waiting for the bus.

Had their ‘famous’ chicken wrap which was a fried chicken piece ripped into shreds with lettuce and sauce, wrapped in a nan. I was expecting a bit more if I’m being honest, especially at £7. The taste was good, if lacking a little salt but overall I was mainly grateful that they were open so late!

I’ve Been Eating at H&H For Many Years Now I I must say the Food it’s very fresh and delicious I have never had any complaints with the food from H&H. You cannot beat Fresh Food ! 👌 The owner Emre is very professional and also very polite and always smiling 😄he also makes his customers feel very welcome and offers the best quality food 💯 Emre also has a new team of staff working for him which are also very polite and make all customers feel very welcome and are always happy to help customers. All products are very tasty and reasonable price. I tasted lamb shish, burger and chicken roll. They make the lamb shish without skewering. And the downy came from Ireland. He also got a gold medal for his burger. Careful and loving work yields good results. I highly reccomend.

It certainly gives something interesting to look at while waiting for food than other options! Everywhere is clean and there’s a good amount of seating. None of the usual doner options available but the kebabs were cooked fresh and tasty. Not the cheapest, but the flavour, portion size and setting more than makes up for it. I’ll be returning for sure!

Emre was very pleasant, he was very polite when he served me and the food was excellent. He was very down to earth. Had a mental night and he managed to sort me out with a lovely kebab! I rate the whole team highly. Really recommend! Omar is a very good cook!
