It was my first time to visit the place, the food so tasty and delicious and big portions compared to other Turkish restaurants in Liverpool deserve every penny they asked for 👌 high recommended,, The service was excellent, the staff were great and very lovely friendly and helpful, The start’s so delicious and the main food super tasty ,, , booked a table for 13people and all the food been served in the same time 👌👌. The only thing I would say it’s the car park as you had to park between the houses and took me around 15min just to find a place 🫣🫣 but other than this highly recommended xx

Very great hospitality, nice food, the prices are great. Even the parking areas around are easy off road

We had a shared platter of food between 3 adults and 2 children 10/12 years old for starters we ordered main meals if we would have known how much food we would have been given with the sharing platter we would have ordered smaller main dishes, we had so much lovely food left over, the staff gave us boxes to take it home, it actually made a further 2 adult meals, extremely good value, we will definitely be going back 😁❤️

Went with my daughter and granddaughter for dinner. Absolutely fabulous. Friendly staff, especially to my Granddaughter who is 6, Great food and amazing choice. Recommend this place.

Horrible portions on the lunch menu, got a Shish kebab for 11 quid a got 5 pieces of malteaser sized dog excrement lookin lamb. Wont be going at lunch times again

Went on Saturday for my sisters 40th birthday meal. Lovely atmosphere and food was delicious. Service was very good, attentive staff even though it was a Saturday night and very busy.

Delicious food, friendly service from staff, we had the early bird menu, which was good value for money. They have added expenses, on menu 1 dot next to item means extra £1.50 There are another 2 dots, which means more expenses. The only extra cost I occurred was £1.50 for the squid, which was worth it, best I've ever tasted. Best liquer coffee I've tasted in a long time, just like I remember them. 😋 👌

One of the best Turkish restaurants I've been too. Food superb, prices reasonable and large portions. I had the chef's special, a mixture of different kebabs. I was very glad I didn't order a starter the meal was that big. The meat was so tender, it was lovely. The others had chicken kebabs and one had chicken guvec, a really nice stew. The restaurant was very busy but the service and the kitchen coped really well. All in all I would happily recommend Gustum and will certainly be going again, hopefully soon.

Very friendly and welcoming food 😋 was wonderful and excellent value for money we had the chefs 👨‍🍳 special sopos ability for 2 would of fed 6 people.

Thoroughly enjoyed dropping into this little gem and savouring its authentic Turkish fare on a Saturday afternoon. Well worth the trip out to Mossley Hill. Such amazing friendly service and superb selection. Particularly impressed with the Turkish Cabernet Sauvignon and almond liquor coffee. 🤤

Excellent food, excellent service, I've only given the 'atmosphere' a 3 because there was only me and 1 other with me and I came just as it opened. Cant give a higher rating till I go when its busy

Service excellent, the chefs 'care' about their craft and reliable every time to get it 100% right. Salads are so much better than anywhere else. Lamb chops yummy and portions are generous. Yet another lovely evening at this gem of a restaurant. I have dined here many times and I am never disappointed. The staff are lovely, the food is fabulous and the ambience is relaxed & friendly. We ate here last night & shared the feta cheese parcels, and as we are small portions people we shared the skewered chicken breast. Both were excellent. It was served with lovely warm fresh bread. We ordered the tahini as a side which is fantastic. I thoroughly recommend this restaurant. It does get busy so I would advise booking. Will definitely be returning.

We had a Lovely night and the food was amazing and very tasty. Kate and Jessica were so lovely and really looked after us so much that we were even offered blankets when it was a little chilly when the grill was switched off for the night. Thank you for a lovely night.

We ordered Chef's Special for 2 to be delivered to us. When food is delivered, you don't expect it to be as good as dining-in, in particular, if it is kebab. But, it was so good that encouraged me to write this review while the plates are still on the table. Also, The portion was fair for the price. I am sure we soon give a visit to the restaurant to enjoy the food when it has just left the chef's kitchen. I took one star off since the rice wasn't as satisfactory as the rest of the food. But please notice that, in our house, we cook rice nearly everyday, so we have grown our own taste for rice. Okay, if you think it is not fair to judge them by our liking, I shall add the fries was not crispy too :)

Very good food and staff very helpful

Very expensive, Food was good but nothing special. Portion sizes a bit stingey, Chicken Skewer meal was mainly over cooked greasy rice. Also had other food which we didn't order brought to our table. Staff where quite rude and ignorant, asking us questions mid spoonful and being a bit too personal and also indirectly pestering us to leave before we had actually finished , despite there being 1.5 hours until closing time and very few other people inside and no one waiting. We where there about half an hour including waiting time so there was no need to be rushed out at all. I The beer was almost all froth and not much actual drink in the glass. * The manager was great and did apologise after I raised my issue with him He did offer some form of compensation. I have given an extra star for this and I am prepared to visit and eat here again in the future, I was assured that this won't happen again and isn't the norm for Gustom.

Lovely visit. Most hard working friendly staff. Managed a group of 12 without fuss and a full to the brim restaraunt. Nothing too much trouble and food hot fresh and came out in good time. We got the hot mezze and a ceaser salad. Bread is out of this world. Would deffo recommend.

The food was really good and the portions were even better! It was my first meal after landing in the UK for my vacation and it tasted awesome. I forgot the name of my order but it was a lamb in a tomato sauce on top of some chopped up flatbread. The lamb was tender and not too gamey, and the salad was refreshing.

Had a fantastic meal here. It was our first time but it won't be the last. The food was absolutely delicious and all the staff were so friendly. I will definitely return and bring my friends

Most staff wearing masks on chin. Disappointing. I know it is difficult but we must protect each other. Customers walking around without masks but no surprise. Staff need to lead by example.

Top class service and food. We ordered a birthday celebration home delivery it arrived well wrapped and Insulated. A highly tasty and complete meal with rice salad breads and dips as standard. I can recommend this service as 5 star. We will definitely use this again. In fact my birthday is soon.

My partner and I lived a stones throw from here over ten years ago in our first flat and often came here when it was Kinsellas. We’d been wanting to try Gustam for a while as we’d heard good things about it. We came February 2020 with some friends and enjoyed it so much we came back the following month in the March with my partners sister and her fiancé after being in town. The sharing platters are so good and you get loads especially for the price the meat is lovely and cooked really well. The honeycomb cheese cake is delicious and I’m not really a dessert person and drinks are reasonably priced just like the food. You get so much you definitely leave with full tummies. The staff are so so nice and attentive you can’t fault them. I hope to return when things get back to normal!

After a christmas filled with traditional food, we fancied something different. Cue a delicious feast of hot starters which was absolutely divine.

Been here several times but first time since lockdown . Tables are set out well to comply with social distancing so no worries there. From the moment we entered until when we left the service and friendliness from the staff was excellent. We had a starter and main course and really enjoyed the meal , good size portions and served straight from the grill. Looking forward to returning soon

Can't fault this place at all- had a fantastic meal & service was spot on. Hot mixed meze to start was big for just two of us but enjoyed the variety & all cooked to perfection. We took the waiters recommendations for mains- lamb chops (juicy in the middle but beautifully charred from the grill on the outside) & chicken kebab (very tasty!). Good value house red wine. Turkish coffee & cheesecake rounded the meal off perfectly!
