Good family restaurant with a wide choice on the menu. Kind staff and tasty food. Very well priced.

The owner lady there started screaming when we asked for salt and kept shouting until my 7 year old daughter started crying. This place is a hell.

Really not happy I have been ordering from this restaurant since 2012 and unhappy my delivery was so late. I was told the driver is doing a stop off at south harrow first unsure why the driver would go to south harrow then drop our food second as we are more closer.

to be fair it looked busy for a sunday night , thought im hungry give it a whirl its usually quiet, there were herds of children screaming at each other the waiter couldn't hear my order, the food was rushed and really spice hot not a very enjoyable meal ,could not wait to get out of there!

Visited several times. Food & service are consistently excellent.

Chicken chowmein was the best but too much chicken in it. Portion was pretty good.

Had the King Prawn Puree followed by Butter Chicken Tikka and garlic Naan, food was excellent, family owned restaurant, highly recommended

Seven of us descended upon the Gurkhas Pride early evening on a Saturday. The staff were excellent, minimal fuss but maximum service. Good selection of drinks and wide food choice on the menu. Popadoms were beautifully fresh. Starters and mains were outstanding in both quality and quantity. Whether meat, fish or vegetable sides/mains everything was beautifully cooked, not rushed and tasted wonderful. By the time we’d left, by about 19.00, the restaurant had filled up. Will definitely be going back.

Lovely meal with out with our old friends. The service was very good and the food delicious and served at the same time so no one waited longer. It's not a restaurant with music and screens but that is its charm.

Takeaway delivered by restaurant, took a little longer than it should have but not too bad. We had chicken across three different dishes (Tikka Masala, Bhuna and mixed starter), in each case the chicken was overcooked, dry and not particularly nice; certainly not worth paying for. Very disappointing.

Acting like a mama to force to eat. The naan was served in a kitchen towel sheet. Had ordered Dal which was just boiled and BLAND no spice nor no flavour. I wonder why this place is there ? Zero customer service Pathetic Food And smelly restaurant. Made the worst choice, should have gone to Sarasas or Kho Kho to which I went later again as they were packed being a Tuesday or Wednesday. Don’t go there waste of time and money.

Utterly delicious. Don't tell anyone else it will get too busy! 😜 I've had a few curries in my time and this ranks in the top 5! Edit: I'm back again 7 months later on 27/01/2023 and another perfect meal with excellent service. Mixmas Karahi Special, onion pilau rice with garlic and chilli naan. Washed down with a Gurkha special brew. Perfect!!

Probably the best curry in Ruislip. Always great quality and portion size. Wouldn't go anywhere else local out of choice.

The portions are so large well worth the money, food so tasty.

Very disappointed;eaten here few times and been good but yesterday I chose poorly(advised by proprietor);had the Kathmandu chicken and lamb;chicken was not fresh and that tough it was inedible (I picked out all of the chicken pieces and left them);I asked the server where was the lamb??;she said it’s minced;I must say sauce was ok but lamb must have been minced very finely;;rice was excellent as was the Gurkha beef;I did complain about the chicken and the owner could see the uneaten chicken;did she take anything off the bill??;not on your Nelly ;no;won’t be in a rush to go back.

Chicken was very over cooked - really dry and dense. 3 out of 4 of us did not enjoy our meals.

Horrendous. Our food turned up an absolute mess. Tubs had opened and gone over everything else. It looked like it had been dropped and thrown back in. It was an expensive bin liner in the end. Will never use again

Lovely evening - food and service were perfect. Only saw one lady who took orders, served drinks, cleared tables, sorted takeaways and made it look effortless! Will be back soon. Well done!

First time their. Most probably my last. Had great expectations for this restaurant. Wont knock the food, the food was very good. Service was really poor. No attentiveness to customers.there was One member of staff and one manager on shift . In a pretty full restaurant. Starter's took 1 hour to come. We left it at that unfortunately. We didnt have mains. Poor service...

Best Nepalese restaurant in London. They have some special dishes which is really really enjoyable, me and my family fall on love with their foodq, Specially chicken shislik bhuna, gurkali chicken bhutwa, gurkas prawn, garlic chille mashroom and biryani was fantastic Staff are very professional. Highly recommended that place, if you are real curry lover this is a great place. Thank you Gurkha's pride for your lovely foods and 5 star service. See you again soon

Not happy of spending my 30quid in the Nepali restaurant when you have the craving of nepalese cuisine. Please look at the pic of LAMB BIRYANI lol

the days of free poppadoms are over, 3 poppadoms for £4.50?! The food is good but very expensive for what it is.

Following eating at the Gurkha Ruislip and getting take aways, i was always happy with the food and service. But today i ordered a take away, Lamb tikka and a chicken dish, the lamb was Not eatable too tough, and the chicken dish, made my granddaughter sick. I called the restaurant, explained everything, the lady was polite and apologised, she then put the manager on, the manager said the will be hard as its cooked in a tandoor. Her voice was quite aggressive, she then put the phone done on me, i called back, to inform them i would never eat there again or order takeaway again. The Gurkha Pride Ruislip is finished for me !!!!

It's my first time to this Indian restaurant as I was not aware it existed on Ruislip High Street but the friends I went with had been here before and recommended it. Very good food and service. Small and cosy restaurant. Definitely will go again

I have been there many times and have never been disappointed. The food is excellent, delivery is prompt. Eating in is the experience of a 1970s Indian Takeaway which is great (if you like that kind of thing).

Just the best Indian / Nepalese restaurant for miles around. Our family of 6 have been there many, many times and we have never once had a bad experience. The owner can seem a little stern, but she's lovely when you get to know her. My favourite is the chicken shashlik, my daughter's is the non veg platter - lovely food at very reasonable prices, served with a smile.

Quite big food portions, was all spilling out of the containers. Only downside was a hot curry (karahi) was ordered but we were given the mildest curry going (korma). Plus side food is always good quality from here.

The choice and quality of the food in this restaurant was second to none. I love Indian food but this was different, more flavour than anything I’ve ever tasted. Was just here on a visit but will definitely be back next time we are in the area

Excellent. My first time here and I must say that the food is very good and the portions are generous, service nice and friendly and price very reasonable. I am looking for an excuse to stay in Ruislip again, so I can enjoy more lovely food and service at The Gurkhas Pride!

Went here last Saturday for a birthday party the food was late the manager was rude and when I sent something back she went bizurke not only was she rude she was giving one of the waitresses a really hard time I was also over charged 30 quid for about 20 pounds or less of food after I told the manager to put 20 on the tab she just blanked me and put 30 asked for my receipt and I didn't get it won't be coming back here at all wasn't a very welcoming experience I'll be emailing them also it's sickening

Ordered steamed momos for mains for takeaway, it has a 25-30 mins wait. However, after waiting for the meal, the staff mentioned the kitchen hasn’t seen the order yet. Quite annoying when time is wasted. Wouldn’t go again as the one experience is enough.

The food is not for someone looking for authentic Indian food. Food is bland and it looks like they already have food prepared and they simply toss chicken or lamb in a ready gravy for 1-2 mins. We orderd chicken and lamb dish and quality was below par. The fact that they delivered food in 15-20 mins of order tells you how it was cooked. I generally dont leave reviews like this but i was disappointed to say the least.

Delivery driver had the wrong address, but food was still great.

This may look like a typical Indian/ Nepali restaurant from the outside, but don't let that fool you. They have some of the most authentic Nepali food I've had outside of Nepal and India. We order from them every week and are never disappointed. The momos, chicken lollypop, noodles, keema rice, Dal, is all excellent. Highly recommended.

4.5 Stars! Sophisticated menu bursting with flavour! Beer choice is good too. I recommend it as a restaurant, rather than a takeaway. Good dining experience. I will certainly be back :)

Curry was ok, I ordered for collection and they forgot to include the correct number of naans. I went back to collect what they missed off my order… however this took over 20mins. No apology. Disorganised staff with a a disorganised excuse. I asked to speak to the manager but the waitress decided to go clear a table instead. By this point the mystical Naans finally arrived and I just wanted to get out of there. Won’t be coming back

There is no better food in town. We’ve tried them all but keep coming back time after time. Plentiful, hot and always delicious food. Staff are very friendly and always courteous. Why go anywhere else?

Great food and got to us hot .. but 30 min late

Have had many a takeaway over the yrs from here, and always been of the highest standards, not only in the quality of the food, but the customer service. decided to dine in the restaurant as a treat and I wasn't Dissapointed, in fact, even more impressed than previously. The restaurant is spotlessly clean, and the staff very well groomed and excellently attired. The service was excellent, prompt but not overbearing, and the food was simply sublime. I highly recommend the chicken chetnard.

The chicken shashlik bhuna was spot on, very nice and meat succulent. The lamb shashlik bhuna was a little more tough but still very tasty. The king prawn tandoory start was very disappointing, for £11 you get 3 prawna and they weren't fresh. Would have given 5 starts if it wasn't for the prawns. Naan freshly baked.

Best Nepalese Indian food in Ruislip

First time for a long time in there, dunno why. It's a great place, food delicious and what a menu! Staff friendly, beer good. Recommended.

Food is amazing,they catered to all our needs. Our server sashi was polite, attentive and simply wonderful, I would recommend this venue to all of my friends, family and anyone who enjoys a curry 🍛 👍

I had a meal from here for my mums 40th birthday and my 19th birthday, the food was really nice I love the lamb byriani and the tandoori, the sauce, the korma was alright, and loved the poppadoms and sauce, the only thing I disliked was the chips as they were greasy and didn't have any taste, but the rest was really good.

Very nice and delicious food . The main attraction was the Gurkha premium lager beer . Ambience is excellent and well maintained neat and clean toilets . Must visit all beer drinkers to try the Gurkha lager Will visit again with the boys gang for Gurkha beer and food

I went today the staff was new but they didn’t understand What exactly I want it I ordered side dish bhindhi masala but it comes main dish I didn’t ordered it and I didn’t know that this is the main dish The other lady was very Rude and said you should know all that How do I know I m not working there I came from Wembley for this restaurant They charged me for the main dish Pls look out the bill before you pay I will never go again 😒 After locked down they are more rude and pathetic I wish I couldn’t go there waste my £15.40 When I calculated they charged £0.10 extra Without any reason Pls lookout the bill before pay thanks 🙏

Wrong food delivered. Manager blamed me for not checking even though drive left before it was possible. Told to microwave to keep rest of food warm. Took back wrongly delivered item. Hopefully we did not get 2nd hand food especially in COVID.
