Busy on a week night, tasty food.

This is a fantastic little restaurant in Greenwich. We went yesterday on a Friday evening. For starters we only had popadoms, drinks and yogurt squid rings. Those were tasty. The mains as you see in the photo were plain naan, pishwari naan, pilau rice in addition to a mixed grill which was excellent with soft meat, and the succulent lamb bhuna. Staff were polite and leave you alone. Reasonably priced. I would recommend and would go back to the place.

The restaurant has a wonderful atmosphere. I came here with my colleague and friend, in 27/03/24. We were treated to two wonderful starters, the Lamb momo and the cutlets. Greeted by friendliest staff. Korma was brilliant with the Keema rice, Tikka Masala, and Peshawari. 5/5 First time,recommend it to friends, colleagues Partners 😏 and family.

We come to the Gurkha Inn regularly we enjoy the food, staff are always very nice, attentive My husband Birthday do went to celebrate had a lovely evening. Food was very good

Incredible food as always. I ordered the Hariyo Chicken, which I've never tried before. The flavour was incredible, with just the right amount if heat.

The food was below average. The momos were the worst,thick layer of refined flour with next to no fillings , don't turn up to the restaurant expecting taste , the curries were below average.SCAMing customers with fake NEPALESE FOOD.

Food is very flavourful, an authentic Nepalese cuisine. The staff are very hospitable, would definitely recommend for a date night you won’t regret!

My son & I visited 3 East Greenwich Restaurants during our our stay over the last 2 weeks & all 3 were excellent. The Gurkha's Inn is about a 5 minute walk from The River Ale House which specialises in ever changing cask beers. This was my 4th visit to the GI over the past 2 years or so & the food & service were excellent on each occasion. Be sure to try their Lamb Momo Starters.

Lovely Saturday evening meal. Really great service and excellent value for money. Will visit again.

Heard mixed reviews about this restaurant but decided to try it, my expectations were exceeded. Clean restaurant with good service . I tried the chicken and vegetable momo £6.50 and the mild Nepalese chicken with methi and coconut rice. Limited drinks menu but overall I recommend!

What a wonderful restaurant. The staff are extremely friendly and welcoming. The food was incredible. They offer large portions so prepare to take some home with you! I can’t wait to come back and visit on my next trip to London.

Fantastic tasting food! highly advise going for the chef’s recommendations! Been going for a curry every weekend with my mates for the last couple of months around the south east of London. Had best ever dumplings and stuffed paratha there which was yum, crispy paratha and till now best one in London. Beautiful ingredients put together well.Not snooty or pretentious.Really good food in generous proportions cooked and served with some of the most down to earth friendly and helpful front of house servers.Hard to beat as I can’t think of a single negative point to make.I’ll try anything but my guest is vegetarian and there is plenty of choices for both.

Best Indian restaurant in Greenwich, friendly staff and great food!

I came with my family last Saturday. The food was really delicious and the service was fantastic. I really like the chicken chilly dry fry.

I haven't seen an employee who is so bad and rude in my life. Yesterday we went there to eat with friends, it was very hot inside, we asked them to turn on the air conditioner and also said two portions of Momo and a portion of dessert. Bangladesh male employee (in his 40s) asked if you don't order the main course. After saying that we do not want the main course, he shook his hand and said something. He also closed the air conditioner after that. I wonder, every one should say the main course? We just went there because we were curious about momo. I will never come to the restaurant where there is a disrespectful employee. I do not recommend anybody.

Fabulous food! Authentic, family run and you can taste the love the food is prepared with. A lovely selection of traditional Indian and amazing Nepalese dishes, an absolute gem of a restaurant!

Worst Indian food I have ever tried. We ordered lamb Korma, butter chicken and Biryani everything was disappointing and the food arrived after an hour!!!

Our order was delivered extremely late, it took nearly two hours to receive the food. We had no contact from the restaurant to let us know it would be late and when we tried calling them to ask where it was no one answered the phone. When the food did finally arrive everything was cold and one of our items was missing. We had to go to the shops to buy rice to go with our meal and then had to cook everything again to reheat it. I requested a refund on the justeat website and the restaurant declined the refund, in spite of the late arrival, poor quality and missing items (that we then had to pay for again to get from somewhere else). Justeat has removed the option to contact them via message or phone and there is nowhere to dispute the rejected refund request. Terrible service.

I always order from this restaurant as the food is always good. However the prices have gone up and I was disappointed with the amount of meat that was in my lamb biriani this time 😞

Visited this restaurant on 3rd June 2023. From the moment we arrived the service was excellent without being intrusive. After ordering drinks the staff were happy to give us plenty of time to look at the menu and didn't rush us at all. The food was absolutely delicious and the staff were great. If you haven't been here what are you waiting for.

This place is really nice and has great food and service! Definitely visit for some authentic Nepali vibes and cuisine. Tie in with a trip to the Royal Observatory Greenwich, to experience a romantic and cultural day out. Very good value! Cheapest Nepali food with great taste.

Really nice food and great service. This is our 3rd visit and it didn’t disappoint, as good as we remembered. We had chicken tikka masala, lamb korma with pilau rice and coconut rice for the mains and they were full of flavour and super moist, we all enjoyed it. We will be back! Thank you!

Food is so delicious, and the service is brilliant. Deliveroo missed some of our order and the restaurant rectify the missing item and hand delivered it within 10 minutes, we were so impressed. I have tried Gurkha's Inn for dinning and a takeaway from a delivery app and I can say this is definitely a gem of Greenwich. For takeaway ordered their mixed biriyani and a green-minty chicken curry and the taste was phenomenal. Even the dips and the small vegetable curry that came with the biriyani was tasty. The food is absolutely delicious and not once have I had a poor experience in taste. A truly memorable place simply by taste alone and I'd recommend it to anyone.
