Good traditional pub love the guinness

Nice pint of ice t. But higher than normal price of. No food here. Service was good. Being midweek. Will be back when In area. For the gig at hydro

£2 pint and stinkin hot weather, can't get any better. Staff are class and pub is unreal

A small, cosy and traditional pub. There are also TVs here so it’s a good wee hidden spot for watching football etc Cracking pint of Tennents here

Was for years and old fashioned type bar, huge difference to the area that bar is located means an increase to bar prices, but it's still more than a decent bar. Friendly and excellent for all sports events on TV.

A reasonably priced traditional pub in the west end of Glasgow. Staff were friendly and helpful, and prices are excellent. Had a 20% student discount, which my son loves, and if it's an old style pub you're looking for, you can't beat the Grove

First class, traditional bar, great service. Quizmaster a bit too much for me, far too loud and clearly thinks it's an opportunity to voice his political opinions punctuated with the F word.

Proper pub, perfect Guinness and cool personel. Hope I visit again sooner than later!

Has a good vibe, but we prefer more private seats. Also there is no drinks meniu, so prices are not obvious.

Worst ever experience in the Grove. Bar tender behind the bar on his phone and then he sits at the end of the bar with his book. No conversation, no greeting, nothing!!!

Wow, what a lovely gem. Only came in as I read rhe reviews previous. Great atmosphere, made to feel welcome by customers and the big man behind bar. Guinness was lovely.

As a local resident I’ve been a regular in the Grove for many decades. Until now it’s been a wonderful friendly pub with outstanding staff and regular as well as passing customer trade. But when staff feel the need to leave and regulars are avoiding it because of the new manager, to the extent that said regulars are applauding when manager leaves is a very sad indictment!.. Please pay attention and get it sorted Green King!..

Very friendly and easygoing place. Both bartenders made me feel welcome as soon as I pulled up a chair. Hazel picked 2 great Scotch Whiskys for me to try. This was exactly the experience I was looking for in a Scottish bar. Good drinks, good prices, very nice people, sports on the TVs. I hope to get back here soon.

A proper boozer. Extremely well run. A Glasgow treasure and the best pub in Glasgow in my view. Draught beers very well kept and served and they have a fine selection of spirits. Staff stay for years and are happy to visit the pub as customers, which is always a great sign. I've just been asked by Google whether the pub has changed and would therefore have to update my review. Just had another night of smiles and laughter at the utterly unique and truly wonderful Grove Quiz. No, my review hasn't really changed, as The Grove is still the best pub in Glasgow. And maybe it's the best pub on earth.

Loved this pub. Had never been before and just had very chilled out happy vibes.prices were not stupidly high purely because they are in the west end. Very comfortable happy old man pub feel typical of Glasgow and friendly staff and will totally go again..

I came on a visit from Texas and the bartenders were very friendly and welcoming. I don’t know her name, but they also have the prettiest girl in all of Glasgow behind the bar.

Good service from the bar staff

Not very big and can be really hard to get a seat at times. But still has a traditional Pub feel at a decent price. It's a breath of fresh air. Compared to the ultra trendy Finnieston area where other Pubs in the area where prices have rocketed. 🙄

Loved the Grove Bar on Sat 20th Nov. Good mixed crowd. Popped in on the way home having just left Mother India and a wee pub crawl. Hadn't been to the Grove Bar in a long time but would certainly RUSH back. The Grove Bar prices are half the cost in a bar around the corner - just what I like. No wonder it was mobbed.

Excellent service friendly people

Park behind an amusement center on asphalt and enter a world of twinkly lights against a forest canopy! With bug repelling torches, fire pits to roast hot dogs and s’mores (you can buy a kit from an employee), live music with original artists, and a full bar, all you could ever need is a bathroom…and they have that too! It’s a porta-potty, but I didn’t mind. It’s spacious, lively, and unlike anything I have ever seen in this region. It’s spacious enough for kids to run around and well lit so you don’t feel paranoid. The crowd was a good mix; old and young, mostly casual. I love this place; great vibe! You can also order food from the amusement center and have it brought out to your table, btw. ;)

Overall good bar, good service & friendly staff. You do get a good pint of Guinness or Belhaven here always spot on. Keep up the good work guys.
