Le escribo para decirle lo disgustado que estaba con sus porteros y gerente fue conmigo y mi familia anoche (sábado 7 de septiembre) Mi cuñado que tiene Alzheimer y es muy olvidadizo encendió un cigarrillo inocentemente porque OLVIDA debido a su enfermedad. Los porteros fueron muy groseros con él y no lo dejaron volver. Este hombre estaba aterrorizado y no podía entender lo que estaba pasando. Podría haber salido fácilmente del casino y haberse perdido. Traté de explicarle a su personal y al gerente sobre su problema de memoria y también les pregunté si el establecimiento era "amigable con la demencia" a lo que respondieron NO. Encuentro esto bastante difícil de asimilar ya que ahora estamos en 2019 y la demencia es una discapacidad oculta, pero la gente lo sabe mucho en estos días. El hecho de que no lo haya escrito en la cabeza es "Tengo demencia" no significa que no padezca una discapacidad. Estoy absolutamente disgustado por cómo fue tratado y también por mí mismo, ya que no escucharon mis explicaciones. (Soy una enfermera de demencia calificada) Sugiero que TODO su personal necesite una sesión de enseñanza sobre cómo tratar con personas con demencia y, ciertamente, una sesión de enseñanza sobre buenos modales. Su gente como esta le da un mal nombre y estigma a cualquier problema de salud mental. Son totalmente ignorantes y necesitan lecciones de modales.Ya no iré a su casino y voy a copiar este correo electrónico a su oficina central.

Played poker there in the £30+£7 registration fee last night..was impressed with the size of the poker room. Dealers were great however service was drinks was very slow. I ended up having to keep leaving the table to get a drink at the bar.

Great restaurant, service really good, fabulous entertainment on Saturday evenings and the dinner & show package is really good value for money-£18.95 for 3 courses and a drink on Saturday night!

Me and my friend went for a few drinks and some food. We had a great time, food was ok but we had the most beautiful night. Staff are very friendly and helpful with everything you ask. Would recommend night out in casino!

We had a meal here - Jess is so friendly & attentive-super service. Entertainment-plse consider accoustic, too loud for such a cosy venue

Solía ser un visitante regular a la sala de poker durante unos años pero luego me cayó un poco de amor con el juego. Visitamos el domingo pasado por sólo la segunda vez este año. Es una habitación agradable y siempre sientes poker en casa como visitante sola. La principal zona del casino está bien y hace lo que necesita un casino para atender a clientes habituales y ocasionales visitantes hardcore. Los croupiers, personal de bar y los concesionarios son amables, así que en general creo que este es un gran sitio.

Came here with 8 other ladies for a good catch up. Cosy atmosphere and reasonably priced food and cocktails. Could stay as long as we wanted with free parking.

Llegó para la cena de tres platos y un espectáculo oferta tenían uno, que, por desgracia, muy decepcionante. He comido mejor en un wetherspoons. El personal realmente no atento. Tenía un cóctel de gambas para empezar que había sido improvisado en un unos langostinos encima de algunas lechugas. Entonces para los principales tenía un bistec - sin salsa y muy duro - Mitad izquierda. El postre para ser justo era buena, el Apple cake. El lugar en sí es similar a un club social, como noches DE PHOENIX - que podría estar mucho mejor, lo podrían haber hecho algo realmente especial y la gente iba pero no estoy sorprendido el lugar estaba vacío un sábado por la noche. El espectáculo en sí era como algo fuera de noches phoenix, más que en el espectáculo de casino que esperas. Es tratando de ser las vegas, pero con un presupuesto minúsculo, y simplemente no funciona. No volveremos tristemente, pero creo que un poco de esfuerzo podría ser este lugar fantástico.

Fui después de una comida con un gran número de parejas. Fuimos aquí en vez de ir a la ciudad para las bebidas. El bar no está ocupada, así que muchos asientos, los precios no son tan malos como cabe pensar y una apuesta poco no duelen también:).

Vine para pelota poker en la gran sala de poker. Las mesas y los distribuidores eran excelentes.

Cada vez que vengo a Manchester siempre son un punto de visita en el casino de Bury New Road.

Visited the casino for our Christmas do from work and gas a great time. Dined at 6.30 and enjoyed their lovely three course meal from Christmas menu. Staff very attentive ensuring we had sufficient drinks etc. We all had a £5 chip included with the meal which we quickly lost on the roulette table. We all then tried our hand a Blackjack. The croupier was very friendly and explained the markers in the table. Very enjoyable experience especially as I ended up with more than I started with. A change of croupier put a stop to our winning streak so we retired to the bar. Live entertainment Gary Barlow was very good. Would definitely return as I had such a good time. Great night out - something different

I came here with my friends and their family. We got the set menu where you can have a starter and main or main and dessert for £12 between 2 people. I got the chicken wings for a starter & the steak and chips for my main. The food was cooked well. Also inclusive of the deal was a bottle of wine between the two. All that for £12 is just unreal. The staff was really helpful. The cocktails were lovely too. I would definitely recommend eating here.

I mainly play poker here and the card room is a good size, lighting is great and also table service for food and drink. The meals are freshly cooked and very good, the beer is good and soft drinks are free. The car park can get busy at peak times.

Visited G casino to have a meal and watch Elvis look a like sing the night away.Fantastic meal and show was excellent .

My primary reason for visiting is to play the tables and poker but I'd have no issue in having an evening out here. Live music and food is always good. Would recommend to any that have not tried before

ate out at this place a few times although I mainly get a sandwich which are freshly made and delicious and well presented, my partner gets steak he enjoys it its a nice relaxed atmosphere you may hear the odd YAYYY which isn't off putting as you know some lucky sod in the casino part is winning lol,very clean place nice friendly staff good promotions on and entertainment, drinks being offered out by floor staff so you don't have to leave your seat the only negative I can say about the place is when you lose lol

This is our favourite casino, love the restaurant and the bar meals and drinks and good slots etc too. You can go in the day or evening and grab a drink, food etc. We usually go a few times a year.

Call in here a few times a week on the way home. Usually restaurant staff very attentive. Menu offers good value and when you have your food usually a couple of approaches to check all is ok..... But not tonight.... From their set menu as soon as restaurant open was told 2 of the 4 starters not available. Asked as usual for steak done medium.... It came very well done/charcoal outside and definitely not medium inside. Onions rings and grilled mushroom more Hutton size than normal. Waitress caught my eye contact several times but did not come over to see if all was ok...... Am sure she knew stake was too well done! Yes I could have called her over and asked for what I ordered but couldn't be bothered waiting for steak to be revoked. They seemed too busy with Christmas bookings at the detriment of regulars. Not the best visit this time.

Booked a meal at the Grosvenor & wasn't disappointed.The service was excellent, gave me a glass of champagne for my birthday.Had a prawn cocktail starter, wasn't the best I have had but acceptable, my daughter had a mushroom tortelli, she really enjoyed it.The main meal was delish, had fillet steak with a peppercorn sauce. My daughter had a sirloin steak, the steak melted in mouth very tender & cooked perfectly to my liking, will definately be going back again

Spent the weekend in Manchester and after a night at the arena and a few pubs got peckish so decided to go to the casino as it's always a place to get decent food no matter what time of the night it is.Friendly welcome on reception as they sorted us out some new cards as I forgot to bring mine with me. Just caught the end of The Michael Jackson tribute that was on and it looked pretty decent. The young waitress who took our order was very polite and friendly. Never been to this Grosvenor before but the food was the same as what I've had in other ones which I've come to find to be very decent food at a decent price.Plenty of choice of drinks and even though it was busy at the bar I noticed that the lady serving done a good job remembering who should be next in the queue for drinks. Lost a few quid on the tables but the missus won a bit on the slots which more than covered the meals , drinks and taxi home.like I've reviewed other Grosvenor's its a 5 star for me based on what you get for the price and the staff working there

Tried numerous times to go, but each time the person said we weren't allowed in because we were wearing lederhosen and that they were against company policy. I've searched to find the mentioned company policy but so far have found no evidence of this. Personally I believe this to not be specified in the company policy and it was just being made up on the spot. The general consensus seems to be smart / casual. We were all wearing shoes and shirts which were smart, and lederhosen which were casual. Maybe you could put up a sign outside that says no lederhosen. If you want to go, don't wear lederhosen.

food really good and service was very good and then there was the added bonus of live entertainment. A great tribute act to Take That and it was FREE

In our profession its difficult to get a weekend off near Christmas so we had our Christmas do the first weekend of November! This years choice was Casino Night and what better one to pick than here.Our event organiser picked us a £20 package that included a two course meal with champagne, a five pound bet and tuition on roulette and blackjack.Upon arrival we were greeted by the reception staff who registered all of us and then once done that was it - we were free to play! Obviously we headed to the bar first and a well stocked, reasonably priced one at that. The only downfall here was the service was quite slow. There were 21 of us in our party as well as the other gamers but only two staff to serve us all.As we were all relatively new to gambling the first place we headed was the roulette tables. We were made very welcome by one member of staff on one of the tables - I only wish I remembered his name - who engaged us all in the fun and excitement of playing and winning!The food was nice and tasty - I had the stuffed peppers with Thai sauce followed by Sticky Toffee Pudding which were both nice, just could have done with a few side dishes. The waitress we had during our meal was great and very patient as some of our party clearly had already had their fair share of champagne! Then the tuition began which was fab. The man who showed us the rules and how to play blackjack was also very patient and very clearly explained to us without patronising us. Once the tuition had finished we were keen to play for real on the blackjack tables and he came over and asked us if we needed anything, and if we did to just ask. Here we sat until it was time to go home, with a fun female dealer who again engaged us in playing we all enjoyed our blackjack games. Shortly before we left the dealer changed to a not so fun female who (in my opinion) it felt like she was just going through the motions instead of getting involved with us like the other girl and the man on roulette.Overall we had a fab visit and it was a great place for a Christmas party. It didn't matter where in the world you were because inside the casino was so nice. Obviously the house won.

Some may be unsure about going to a Casino because they imagine that they will be forced into gambling. I recently went to The Grosvenor G Casino, Bury New Road in Manchester. The reception staff were very welcoming and friendly. I had been invited by a friend to join him in the restaurant. I was so pleasantly surprised both by the quality, choice and cost of the food and wine.The restaurant staff were friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was very relaxed, not unlike sitting in the restaurant on board a stylish cruise ship. We had to leave just as the entertainer came on stage but caught a little of his comedy/singing act. Very entertaining. I didn't gamble but who knows, next time I may have a little flutter. A thoroughly enjoyable experience that I highly recommend to those who are looking for a dining experience away from the ordinary.
