When speaking with the owner he is updating/upgrading the menu to a better selection and his creativity. The service is great! The place is very clean too! Thank you. Came here for the Mediterranean and the pics of the yummy looking plates with kebobs and chicken over rice.....but they don't offer any of that? No plates with rice? Only giant bowls of hummus with a few chunks of chicken on top. Calls it shawarma but it's not it's just chunks of chicken......slightly disappointed.

Hey honestly everything about this restaurant is amazing, ,im from Louisiana and im up here working, I know good food and good people. The owner cooks and run the restaurant and I've come a few times and will continue. Great food and great person. Top notch experience here.

Very friendly owner who said i wouldn't go wrong when i asked for the Hummus and Chicken Shawarma. Well, he was right. It was great! The chicken was cooked perfectly and tasted amazing. The in house Hummus was delicious. Served with warmed pita bread. My son had a cheeseburger and said it was the best ever. Stop on by and try this place out. You won't be disappointed.

The new owner is great. He takes great care and pride in his business. The gyro was awesome! He threw some spice on it and it was very very good! He said his burgers are second to none. I’ll be back for a mushroom and Swiss!!!

This place no longer sells pizza. Very disappointing since there isn't any other place that sells halel pepperoni near me.

So I had to have a Gyro. And when you have to have a Gyro everything you get can only compare to the O.G. Oakland Gyros. So, Walked in, they had a decent menu, variety (not too much) of a few American Staples and Mediterranean Staples. The pricing seemed to be a little less than the competitors. Inside was clean and simple. I asked for and ordered 1 Gyro Sandwich. The sandwich comes with feta, tomatoes, onion AND lettuce with tzatziki sauce on the side. I'm not a big believer in lettuce on the Gyro, but I wanted to try it. The "odd" thing I noticed, no rotating spit with a bunch of meat on it cooking it as it rotates. Instead it was already cut and re-heated on the flat top; however, it had that "flame spit" taste. Got my food, wait was not too long. Went home and ate it. It was a nice healthy portion. Definitely better than average. Next time for me, no lettuce. However it really was good. the sauce, thick, strong cucumber taste. What I liked, the gentleman diced all the tomatoes, onions, feta and lettuce. I like the smaller pieces, easier to eat. If Oakland Gyros is my 5, Brothers on HWY 100 is my 4.8 ( they are both so close ), then Grill Shack is about a 4.6 (great score) with that place down S 27th in Milwaukee (27th/Grange) about a 3.9. This place is close, I don't have to drive very far, only 2 miles and I get a great Gyro, well worth it. The guys working, super nice very accommodating. I hope this place does well and continues to thrive, it is a great addition to Franklin. SO GO SEE THEM, try some other sandwiches (they look all look good) and leave your own review!

I tried lots of burgers in Milwaukee, this one stood out, the burger is actually grilled, tastes amazing, the bun is soft and the works are just the right amount, I also tried their soup which I really liked as a light meal it has lots of vegetables in it.

You can taste talent. I stopped in Grill Shack on 12/6. I decided to order something familiar -- a gyro sandwich with veggies and Tzatziki sauce. The chef asked if I'd like it with a little heat, to which I happily said yes. It's amazing what a good cook can do to make familiar food excellent. The gyro was perfectly proportioned, the vegetables atypically tasty, and wrapped in a nice shrak (?) bread. I also ordered the fries which were warm on the inside, crispy on the outside, with a nice salt and spice seasoning throughout. You should check out Grill Shack. The chefs know what they are doing, and are masters of balancing ingredients and flavors. I look forward to dining there again.

The falafel wrap at this place is hands down the best I've ever tasted. It's consistently amazing, and I can't recommend it enough. I make it a point to swing by every time I'm in the area.

used to get chicken nuggets from here all the time!! they were priced amazingly! 20 nuggets for $10 and were so good!! Called the new guy and asked if the nuggets were the same since the price is just outrageous now but they said they are the same. Definitely not! thought they had a off day so went again. but they now changed their halal nuggets to like the basic restaurant depot ones and dont even taste good and charge so much for it. sorry but this place is off my list now. wish the other guy would have kept his nuggets

The food was fantastic! Great pizza, the chicken wrap was dripping with flavor and the fries were to die for! Crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside! Incredibly flavorful and fresh. I’m usually wary of places that try to offer multiple cuisines, but they pull it off. The cheesesteak is amazing, the fries are unique and delicious, the shawarma is tender and juicy. And all very reasonably priced. The guys behind the counter were almost uncomfortably accommodating. I’ve never had someone be so grateful for me to eat their food! It feels great supporting a local business that truly appreciates it. Places like this make me wonder why anyone eats at big chains. You’re missing out!

Really enjoyed my meal. I ordered the mix kebab platter and my boyfriend got the chicken shawarma wrap with 12 falafel to split. Javier was so amazing to make the falafel fresh while also cooking our meals. I was so impressed that the chicken and beef were so tender. My boyfriend inhaled his wrap and the fries were really good! Just the right amount of crispy with great seasoning. Javier came out to check on us several times to make sure we liked the food and if we needed anything. It was literally him doing everything so major props to him. Please check them out!

Just discovered this halal place and tried their philly cheeseburger, it was awesome, also their crispy chicken sandwich was out of the world tasty!!!!! So fresh flavour full and above all good helping, we are all satisfied, definitely going back there!!!!!

Good, quick in and out place to pick up lunch. Everything is made fresh so I had a short wait which was expected. They have a small dining room which was fine for waiting, but not some place I would go and have a sit down meal (two or three tables). Staff was extraordinarily pleasant and I was very happy to have stopped in. I had the Shawarma a couple of times, but have not tried the traditional grilled food like burgers, pizza, etc.

When I called to inquire about an item on the menu and to place an order, the person who answered the phone just said "hello?". Thinking I may have dialed the wrong number by mistake, I asked if the number I called was the Grill Shack and the person rudely responded "that's what it says"... I wanted to try this place based on their menu items and good reviews, but unfortunately with their poor attitude, lack of courtesy and professionalism being the first impression, I decided to pass.

I randomly had to go to the bank today and decided to check this place out. The owner is a really cool dude and he cares about his restaurant. The service was great and the food is as well. Highly recommended ❤️❤️❤️❤️

The food was excellent but it took a long time to get the food but it was fresh and everything was hot. The place could have been a little cleaner.. also I did not like that the only options for drinks work and sodas and they were warm right out of the fridge that was a big turn-off.

Been to GrillShack twice within the last week and have nothing but good things to say. I've tried the chicken shwarma wrap, platter, and chicken philly and all have been amazing. The jalapeno poppers are cheddar which is a huge plus in my book, and the fries are just freaking amazing. The staff has been nothing but wonderful and I can't wait to give my business to this amazing establishment.

The best Philly cheese steak sandwich I have ever had. I personally modify mine a little bit and get mozzarella instead of American cheese without any mushrooms as well but it is to die for. I've gone back several times and every time it is the same consistency of satisfaction. Not to mention that they have to have some of the best fries that I have ever had with their own secret seasonings that they add.... Delicious. And as if it couldn't get any better... It can. The customer service there is absolutely amazing. The owner is remarkably nice, and always greet you with a smile. I would 100% HIGHLY recommend this restaurant to anybody who's looking to have their taste buds satisfied. 🙌🤤😋👩‍🍳

This place is a hidden gem! My kids had the BBQ Chicken Pizza and said it was the best they’ve had and the Philly Cheesesteak was amazing! Friendly and amazing!

We wanted a unique and tasty food option for our daughter's graduation party. The Grill Shack's food was delicious. The schwarma (both beef and chicken) were amazing. The humus is the best in the Greater Milwaukee area. The salads are so fresh! The owner is very friendly and helpful. Do yourself a favor and try this incredible restaurant.

Stopped in for the 1st time for lunch and had the beef shawarma platter with rice. The shawarma had a deep rich flavor and wasn't over or under done. The side of chili sauce added a little bite of heat and thr yogurt sauce was creamy and rich, not bland like you get at so many other places. The tomato based side salad was also good. I intended to have some left overs for later but ended up eating the entire meal. Only down sides were the uncomfortable semi-hightop chairs and the lack of beverage items other than soda. . . but maybe I just missed them. I will definitely be back to try other menu items.

Their middle eastern menu is fantastic and very tasty! I got a kebab, shawarma, and hummus. Every bite was excellent and full of flavor, I knew it was going to be good from when I opened the box. Be sure to try their sauces too, especially the "hot sauce" which is the best spicy sauce I've had from a restaurant in a long time. It was actually spicy. The staff was very friendly, especially the owner, who seemed passionate about his food and business. They deserve more business and they'll definitely get more from me since I'll be trying more of their menu soon.

We have eaten/ordered from Grill Shack a number of times. The food is absolutely delicious and the portions are a meal and a half! I would recommend this restaurant to any and everyone.

A group of us booked a table no hand sanitiser available People came in not wearing masks, also no distancing between tables.Portions much smaller plantains were sliced in to 4 pieces After eating ribs nothing to clean your hands except napkin.On the menu it said 6.5 so we assumed it was £6.50 but we’re charged £10 saying that included 1 side however the side cost £2 .Piña cola didn’t taste of any coconut milk Certainly wouldn’t recommend them

We ordered the beef kabob with rice and a beef wrap with fries. Both were so good! This is a newer place with a variety of foods. We will definitely be back to try more. I will also tell friends and family about Grill Shack. 💯
