£45 wasted! Pizza's undercooked. Chicken like jelly. Chips rock hard, burgers vile. Garlic bread undercooked. Nothing like the Grill cottage that used to be on Green Lane.

Always had really nice meals from here, especially the lamb kebab!! The staff are really helpful and the food has always been on time.

I called the restaurant to complain, they were very apologetic and offered a replacement meal, although I refused I do appreciate the gesture This is the first time I have felt disappointed in the food here. It is usually fantastic, and I would highly recommend, just not this time. They must’ve had a bad day.

Polite and friendly staff, food is completely fresh and tastes beautiful. Returned to this take away many of times and have not yet had one delayed delivery,?if they are busy they are honest about expected delivery time which doesn’t often happen in some take aways. Highly recommend this place.

Chicken was soggy, chips were cold and dry. Burger buns were soggy too, tasted old. First and last time ordering from here.

Normally Grill Cottage Get it spot on which is why I have been a consistent customer however this time the chicken was overdone to the point of it being hard & discoloured, the piripiri chips had that much salt on them they where inedible in short I payed for food I I couldn’t eat.

We have ordered a few times from here and the food is usually really hot fresh and on time. Today’s was not just over an hour for delivery are food arrived cold and went in the bin ! The garlic bread was cold and hard as a rock .. the wrap was cold and was not up to its usual standards.. the chips again was cold to .. when we rang they was offering us a 50 percent of are next order .. I would of rather then just resent the food hot .. I won’t be using them again sadly there foodis usually spot on such a shame

Food arrived fast and hot, however, the batter coating on the chicken was soggy, oily and neither the normal nor spicy batter tasted pleasant. The chips had a frozen taste to them.

Possibly the nicest fries I've had from this type of takeaway. Very nice. Decent, burger, gravy. Hoped for homemade coleslaw but it was decent enough. Hot wings were a bit tired. Must have sat for a while. Drink was suitably chilled. Coating was quite rubbery. Overall, 8/10. Will order from here again.

Portions are a bit calculated but fairly tasty - we get food from there once a month or so Piri piri rice is tasty as a side

Food quality was really good, when it was delivered there was a milkshake missing so we phoned up, they dropped it off as soon as they could with a little freebie to make up for it! Definitely ordering again, great food and customer service

Didn’t order anything spicy but the burger was so spicy to me I had to throw it away. Also had breadcrumbs on it which I’m pretty sure the menu just said grilled chicken. Wouldn’t order it again

Food was great and arrived early but you forgot 1 of the drinks in the order (a Vimto) again. This is the 2nd time you've forgotten a drink on our order?! You just need to TRIPLE check the orders before you send them out for delivery, next time it happens I'll call for a refund of all non-delivered products. Otherwise, lovely as per, nice one!

Great chicken , hot and well cooked but would have liked a bit of variety in the bucket as all seemed to be thigh. Definitely order again and it was good value aswell.

I've ordered a couple of times from this restaurant. If I want chicken, this restaurant is my go-to. I made an order for a full chicken and it arrived very quickly. The delivery driver is always very courteous and the food always arrives piping hot. Although today, they had made a small mistake on my order. They delivered a half chicken instead of the full chicken I'd ordered. I rang up to let them know and they quickly rectified the mistake and sent out another half, which came within 10 minutes and they'd thrown in a few free extras! Excellent service as always and by far the best chicken around! I highly recommend this place. I always usually order from here and even on the very rare occasion that a mistake is made, they'll ensure you are compensated well. On the phone, they're very polite and easy to deal with too. 10/10 as always.

Food came on time, chips were slightly cold but tasty and I requested peri salt on one portion which was done! Half chicken with lemon and herb was delicious and the wings with hot coating were tasty, and hot but not so they melted your face off. Top marks! To add to this the young delivery driver was really nice. Polite, friendly and he closed our gate when he left, which never happens! (Its the small things that matter!) Will definitely order again. We usually order from here and never have any issues but this order was awful! Food was due at 8pm came to 8:15pm and we rang them up the man on the phone advised us the delivery man had been but we didn’t answer, we left in the memo to ring us when outside as we lived in shared accommodation so don’t hear the knock, we waiting another 15 mins then the food arrived only for the order to be wrong, then had to wait another 15 mins for them to bring the correct order! Don’t know if I will eat from here again now

well guys 1st time ever dissapointed quite late but no probs there but pizza burnt had black crust chewy base and a little cold kids chicken nugget meals hardly any chips and the large fries covered in red salt . if in doubt leave it out . normally always outstanding but dissapoinet this time 4/10

Avoid this at all costs. The wraps arrived so soggy they were dripping wet, the chips were cold and everything was overpriced and completely not worth the money we paid. The popcorn chicken was £4.50 for such a small portion that were rubbery. Do not be fooled by the positive reviews like we were.

Order was about an hour late, I missed the victory parade because of this, the kebab itself was rubbish with hardly any meat, I would avoid at all costs.

I’ve recently become a more regular customer to cottage grill, and always enjoy the food and service.

The chips were warm and soggy and the burger was a little rubbery but it was nice would order from here again hoping the chips will be better. The delivery driver was lovely great service and manners.

Excellent quality meat in the kebabs and tasty marinade on the meat. No slimy doner meat out of the tub either, done on the grill. The chips are special too. Delivered quickly, piping hot.

I'd heard great reviews so I ordered a full peri peri chicken to try it out. I'm glad I did. It was cooked perfectly and the hot flavour used was exceptional! The delivery arrived about 20 minutes early too. I shared the chicken with my mum and brother and I think I have them hooked. We'll definitely be making a larger order soon! Highly recommended!

Cajun wings were REALLY good. The spicy wings weren't too good though, the coating was quite chewy and thick. Popcorn chicken was good!

Turkey & pineapple pizza arrived as ham & pineapple. Sent normal fries instead of wedges (already getting peri peri fries) food arrived 50+ minutes after stated. I rang after 30 mins to be told the driver had left 10mins ago. 35 mins later food arrives & is luke warm. Overall not good. Food is nice but not warm enough.

Our chicken peri peri had a large chicken bone in it which broke my friends tooth. Rang the restaurant who said they it was ‘the risk we take ordering chicken’ asked for the pizza to be refunded but they said they “Can’t refund” Beware of the chicken pizzas!
