Greensward Cafe in Tendring

Clean and efficient service. Quite a busy place, we had to queue for a while but once we ordered we didn't have to wait long for our order.

Lovely cafe. Indoor and outdoor seating. Friendly staff. Lovely coffee.

My mum used to work there yrs age and it was nice they remember her..

Great place to sit in or out. Looking out to sea wether the sun is out, wind, rain or whatever. Good if your on a motorcycle...friendly staff, great food.

Go there 2/3 times a week for a coffee and to treat the daycare dogs I look after to a sausage. Lovely staff who enjoy seeing the dogs.

Had the Captain's breakfast. Brilliant value for money. Not premium quality ingredients used but still for the price a nice breakfast. The wait was quite long.

Food was good. Because of restrictions we had to eat outside with the threat of rain spoiling our lunch.

We popped in for a coffee when we got to Clacton. We liked it so we went back for lunch before we came home. 😋

A nice, efficient little cafe. It's a bit of a shame they close early at 15.30 and the car park nearby is expensive, but it's outweighed by a nice sea view and a much improved cafe. I would advocate they invest in better sausages, the good all day breakfast was brought down by cheap sausages.

He had the Stowaway + extras and I had the Purser + extras.We had 2 Large Cappucinos.£16.65 for the two of us, fair price for a good meal. Mushrooms were a la dente which was a pleasant surprise, everything piping hot, not greasy. Generous full large mugs of cappucino's were again nice and hot and not just half a cup of froth. We were pleased with our breakfast, it's a little snug in the cafe, the staff are friendly and pleasant, the location is fabulous right on the seafront. We will eat here again. The toasted sandwhiches also looked pretty good, so will be trying one of those next. Worth a visit. Good food, fairly priced.

Lovely little hidden gem on the seafront in clacton. Nice quality breakfast at very good prices, love it that you can opt to pick amd mix any breakfast items. The saute potatoes were especially nice would recommend to others for sure. Will be visiting again

Good, basic food, served promptly, and efficiently. My daughters had come down from London for the day, and thought that the prices were a bit steep for a basic beach cafe. However, warm and clean.

Breakfast was very greasy even for a fry up so only ate half of it over priced to wont be going back

Stopped for coffee and cake at this pleasant seafront cafe. Although quite busy the staff coped very well. Young lady serving drinks, Mia, was attentive and very helpful. Would definitely recommend and return again if in the area.

Would recommend this cafe. Food is cooked to perfection,is always hot and cooked fresh. Staff are friendly and polite and helpful. I never eat any where else now. One must visit this wonderful cafe

Stunning cafe, very welcoming 😁 Friendly happy staff ☺ Food was lovely, and took me ages to decide as menu was full of choices and variations. 1st time we've been, as was on a day out down memory lane in little holland. I'd 100% recommend Greensward Cafe, we sat outside as sun was shining at this point but we had our 8month old dog who was more than welcomed 😁 If you are ever in the area please go, even if just for a tea/coffee ☺

Loved it 😁 Great little place and Dog Friendly and there's not many place's in Clacton you can take you're dog and have a bit of lunch !!! Which I can't quite believe being a new dog owner 👀 but Greensward Cafe 5 Stars from Stu 👍👍👍

Fantastic place for food. Menu clearly written above tills where you order. You pick up drinks and sit down. Food freshly cooked and brought to your table. Reasonable prices for excellent food. Staff friendly and place is very clean. Can't wait to go back!

I been going on here for 20 plus yrs this lunch time I was sitting eating and shortly was punched in the side of the head the owner refused to call the police he was more concerned with taking money for undersized ice creams needless to say I will never go in there and will tell ppl about this and yes I phoned the police

We had a lovely breakfast here. Perfectly cooked and they did gluten free options which was a bonus. A lovely view out on to the sea front. Will definitely visit again!

A visit to Clacton wouldn't be the same if Greensward and it's lovely staff weren't there!
