Wonderful place. The staff are always warm and friendly and make you feel more than welcome.

Wonderful theatre run with support from volunteers!

Very uncomfortable seating, no leg room, even for the smallest of people. Not a good experience there at all.

Great little venue with a cheap bar. Saw a comedy club there that was great.

It's been a while since I was last in. Homely small theatre that has always had some special events. It's nice to be back.

Love the theatre but feel the new build part has taken away some of the charm....looks very clinical now.

Great place. Comedy Club was interesting with a variety of different comedians. This venue offers all sorts of experiences that are worth a try.

Went to see a show, really like Rosehill, I like that when it was refurbished the actual theatre is the same quaint seating.

We had a wonderful experience at Rosehill last night. The staff and volunteers were welcoming and helpful, also, a great act like the Fureys is the icing on the cake.

Very clean , used the disable toilets on the 1st floor.

Superb venue, clean, and the theatre is beautiful. Saw a film for the first time last night, sound and picture were awesone. Highly recommended.

Cool volunteer run heritage theatre. Pleasant, friendly staff that are happy to interact. The seats could be more comfortable but they are original and I suppose that customers from times gone by had lower expectations than mollycoddled types like me. Please visit when you can as this is a gem that needs your business.

Rosehill is a hidden gem. The theatre is special and makes you feel as if you are going some where special.

We went to see "Here come the girls". Had a great night. We booked two more shows!

An intimate, cosy and comfortable theatre. Friendly and helpful staff. Pleasant bar area. Rosehill consistently provides fantastic shows. We are fortunate to attract such talented performers to visit our theatre.

Excellent productions in a friendly first class theatre. I haven't been disappointed, yet. Another visit by Claire Teal is something to be anticipated.

Beer + Burger deal before watching the show was definitely worth it, delicious. Great theatre! The show was extremely underbooked which was a little embarrassing, but it was brilliant, great experience.

The Green room is always a fantastic place to eat and especially on a good day when you can admire the views. Do try the good value pre theatre 2 or 3 course deals. Beautiful food and some different dishes

Theatre show of Tina May absolutely wonderful. Green Room resturant needs a great deal of improvement. Service and food a month ago was great but tonight service appalling and food just ok.

Fantastic place that has a new contemporary feel, which blends perfectly with original features of the theatre. Gorgeous food too!

Nice tea and lovely service I would go back again

Visited for Sunday lunch when catching up with friends in Whitehaven. The decor is pleasant enough if maybe a little clinical but the food and the service was excellent. Staff very pleasant and accommodating, I would recommend a visit.

We were here today 2 adults and a very fussy 7 year old she had the scampi usually does not have chips but she even ate some of them she said it was beautiful you are honoured 😊 mark had scallops for starters then we both had the roast beef dinner oh my it was to die for we go to a lot of places but this is far the best and well worth every penny we will be back thank you ❤x

Had an afternoon tea for 6 adults and one child. It was beautiful and had boxes to take home for cakes etc. Totally recommend lovely venue, staff and food.

Good place to go , looks really modern.Got a couple of drinks from the bar that were expensive I thought even for this kind of place.

Great show with my dad in and a beautiful place. Only downside was that the ice creams were very small and £3!

Nice food although a real shame they stopped the lunchtime menu as it’s just so expensive for a lunchtime treat (2 3 course meals with drinks for 2 and a kids chicken and chips was about £80) Chef was friendly and come with a small dessert for out 2 year old and also made him chicken and chips as they don’t have a kids menu. Overall would recommend and will definitely use again but would use much more regular if they were to bring back the set lunchtime menu they had.

Attended for a taste of Cumbria evening, fantastic food and very generous portions. Chef made a point of coming out to meet the diners.

The best meal we've had in Whitehaven in a long time. Every course was fabulous, the service couldn't be faulted and the place itself is very relaxed and nice to be in.

Very kind welcome..nice environment..lovely open cuisine...everybody worked quietly and efficiently and the result was quite nice..the fish and the meat was excellent and the deserts as well..it was a place that was needed to West Cubria

Fabulous, food was beautiful and staff lovely !

Was our first visit. Great views of the Solway ! The wife and myself both had fish and chips which she enjoyed but I wasn’t too keen on the batter . Ordered a bottled beer and wife a soft drink , then waitress asked if we wanted water as well , I mistakenly assumed this was tap water and said yes. Cost me £2 for a bottle of water !! Bit on the expensive side,

The food was delicious and modern. I can recommend the scallops and then the beef stroganoff if you want a good night.

Able to see Scotland from parts of the Restaurant Meal was lovely and then watched the Sun go Down from the Roof Terrace.

We were recommended The Green Room by Croft Hill Guest House which within walking distance(no pavements on roads but if your careful should not be a problem) but there is ample parking on site. This restaurant is on the top floor of the Rosehill Theatre. The theatre was not open when we visited. The resaurant has stunning views of the Solway Firth. All staff are immaculately presented and very welcoming and attentive. I believe that the restaurant is staffed partly by a nearby cooks school in order that the students can learn their craft in real conditions. The menu is not huge but I can recommend the herb crusted lamb - it was delicious and a very satisfying two thick slices of lamb with the said herb crust on top just the right colour of pink. my wine was also delicious. My husband had the duck which was likewise in portion and colour. We were also provided with a board of freshly made bread and butter and a dish of savoury popcorn to nibble on. We finished up with Pear Frangipane and coffee and liqueurs . This a little gem! although they were pretty much full the Saturday we visited. An absolutely excellent meal and evening. Thank you to the staff for making our night!

An interesting mixture of modern and traditional - the building is very modern, but the theatre and the seating are clearly quite aged! It's OK though as it gives the place character. I sat near the back of the upper circle and was still able to clearly see and hear the action on the stage. My only criticism is that it was unbearably hot in the theatre during the performance!

Sat outside in superb weather overlooking the coastline. It was a sad occasion for us having come straight from a funeral . Saying that ..it was the perfect place to have great food and chat about our loved one. The staff were lovely. Thanks

The Green Room is a new addition to the very old Rosehill Theatre & has been completed seamlessly. Fabulous food at a competitive price, especially recommended before a theatre date.

"A TRUE HIDDEN GEM" Absolutely fantastic food is served here, with a constantly changing menu. Served by attentive and friendly staff in a beautiful environment and location. I can not recommend this place enough, it's a must try if you enjoy good food at a very reasonable price.

Creative and delicious cuisine, lovely friendly atmosphere and great views make the Green Room a venu not to be missed. Thank you every one we'll be back again soon.

We to see hardeep Singh with pre show curry booking food excellent tasty piping hot. Show well not laughed so much well worth 35.00 only reason it's a 4 star is decore and table and chairs bit like picnic tables

Had lunch. Absolutely fantastic meal; best I've eaten for ages. Lovely modern surroundings. Excellent service and convivial atmosphere. Excellent price and with voucher for £5 off was a bargain. Would highly recommend and will be revisiting as soon as possible.
