Sorry to write this but just had spare ribs.chow mein .satay chicken. And none had any taste whatvso ever. Most disappointed. Chicken was hard .we won't be going back.....

Absolutely disgusting, we had food poisoning from this place and they must be shut down and we will make sure of that.

28.3.23 5.30pm order. Asked the ady for 7pm delivery she said no problem. After taken the order she said will be 20 minutes. I said can we have 7pm please again she said absoloutly. 20 minutes later it turned up. I asked for a small pot of soy on the side. I don't know what they gave me but it looked like red oil or fat then it had what look like a load of the bottom of a fryer bits at the bottom of it. Disgusting. The beef chow mein had zero flavour or seasoning it looked dry like it been cooked the washed under water and cleaned off then put in a tub. The sauce with the Hong Kong pork was lovely but the pork was just bits of deep fried fat. I couldn't eat it at all it's gone in the bin and wasted 20 quid.

I am a pescatarian so called up for a takeaway and they wasn't helpful at all . I asked if they could change the set dinner to suit me. They lady who answers the phone asked me to hold and I could hear them on the phone. They did say they could change tolhe chicken balls to prawn ball then heard them say no we have to charge them extra to change items. They didn't even ask me what I wanted to change or be helpfull to assist my needs. These people are rude would never go here

Called up Green Tea to ask if they were able to cater for gluten free and they was! The lady on the phone was of great help and advised on all the different dishes I could have and what they could amend. We ordered a few dishes from the menu and they tasted amazing! Can’t wait to order again.

Had takeaway on a Friday night. Told it would be ready on 20 minutes. Drove there, parked and picked it up. It was ready. It was still hot when we got home and it was delicious.

As my wife is Terminally Ill with Motor Neurone Disease, it’s difficult to find somewhere to eat during the Current Pandemic Situation. Yet again The Green Tea Room came up trumps, with a quality Selection of well cooked and tasty food. Not the Cheapest on the market but without any doubt it is the best. Order was delivered within the quoted Timescale . It was piping hot and very well packaged. Would I recommend this Takeaway?. Yes 110%

We moved into the area some 9 months ago and have been trying out a few different chinese restaurants as we search for our new favourite. Well, the search is over. The food was delivered within half hour, it was piping hot when it arrived and it was brilliant. We especially loved the ribs in chilli and salt but it was all really good. Thanks Green Tea, we will be back.

Well I have eaten from here many times before. Last time i ate there they forgot my spring rolls and instead gave my seaweed which I was most disappointed about. And this time I received the whole order and found a short thick black hair embedded in my rice. Honestly quite discussing, maybe the staff should wear hair nets.

Always so fresh and amazing and I’m currently crying in to my pillow because they’re temporarily closed and I have been forced to find somewhere else to fulfil my gut 💔 don’t ever close again!

First time here and never again, we have eaten many Chinese takeaways and this has to be the worst, rice all stodgy, bbq sauce was very salty and thick grease on the top, the chicken balls were burnt and had more grease in the packet than you would fry an egg in, absolutely disgusting!!!!!

This really is the best Chinese in the area. I have been here more than 7-8 times over past few years and not once has it been the slightest bit greasy. Food is excellent and staff are always really friendly.

Me and my partner have just had a takeaway from here for the first time. And we are SO impressed!! The food is so clean, tasty and has such a nice flavour! I had deep fried chicken with garlic and butter, satay sauce and egg fried rice. Honestly could eat it every day of my life! My partner had a huge pancake roll, and his meal really impressed him also. This is definitely our new favourite chinese takeaway!

My parents just moved to the Canvey and had been doing some work and stayed for a Chinese. I drove out then thought I would check Trip Advisor. Looked for takeaways with 4 & 5 star reviews. Read a couple which gave a positive review and one particular review mentioned that it did not have a lot of salt.

We used this Chinese on the off chance as we couldn’t get through in the phone to our regular Chinese. Was pleasantly surprised and think we have found ourself our new local Chinese takeaway! Food was full of flavour, hot and a lot of it!

Rang the shop at 5pm sunday evening, put in my order, and at 5.25, it was delivered to canvey, piping hot, everything i ordered was correct, and food was excllent. Highly recommend. Will now only use these people.

Nice food, but the6 of5en ask you to pay cash instead of credit card which is a bit off-putting.

Fuimos a probar aquí después de un consejo de amigo de mi esposa. Llamamos a la orden y yo fuimos a recogerla. El tráfico era pesado, así que cogimos un poco más. Como fui en ellos donde nos acerca de anillo para ver si nos donde todavía. La comida era muy buena y tenía una mezcla de artículos. Todas las comidas muy sabrosas. El precio era bueno también. We order from here every weekend, they cater brilliantly for my gluten free needs and know exactly what goes into their food (unlike some takeaways!) The chef has even come out to reassure me on more than one occasion. Brilliant service, even better tasting food!

Ordered for the first time and was very pleased to have done so. The food arrived hot and within the time stated. We had, amongst other dishes, the Spicy Singapore Chow Mein which was wonderful.
