Green Inn - Ballater in Aberdeenshire

We had a large private party at the Tor-Na-Coille hotel and I am so glad we chose this venue. Every member of staff we spoke to had a wonderful attitude, they were incredibly helpful, and the service was impeccable. The venue itself is stunning throughout and the private dining space is no exception. We barely had to decorate the space to make it look beautiful. We chose a buffet meal and it was well received, tasty, and reasonably priced. There was a stage in our room perfect for entertainment, and also a bar within the room allowing you to order drinks without leaving the party. We will be very pleased to visit again soon for lunch. Used to be a great place to eat but it closed no longer after covid struck used to go there reagulary miss it a lot

I've been a regular customer here for a few years, now all of a sudden it's gone down hill, soggy batter, soggy chips and 17 quid!! Sadly will not be going back.

Nice and clean and quick service, my only gripe is I ordered a mock chop but it didn't taste like one I don't know what it was but it definitely wasn't a proper mock chop, not sure if I would go back

Waitress greeted us as if we'd trailed in dog dirt on our shoes. 'Sit anywhere' face of thunder demanded with a dismissive flick of her wrist. Then off she thumped through the swing doors to the kitchen. 'That's anither two in' she barked. That was when we decided to depart. Avoid this place, the welcome is atrocious.
