Very nice nursery, great farm shop.

Never disappoints. They have fewer plants on sale now, but the food is excellent and I tend to shop regularly in their farm shop, as the quality and range of produce is so good.

Afternoon tea with friends, having checked before booking and again on the day availability of gluten free option. All I was offered was one round of dry cheese and tomato sandwich, no scone available and only 2 slices of cake. All for the same price as my friend's full afternoon tea. £17.50! If you want gf afternoon tea go next door to Wylands farm where it's excellent

Wow! Our first visit to Great Park Farm. Such a nice place to visit for homemade cakes and tea/coffee etc. Lots of different places to sit in the shade and enjoy the delicious food!. Kind, friendly, helpful staff. Plants and a nice farmshop on site! Excellent cheeses, cakes etc. Highly recommended! Easy parking. 10 out of 10 guys!

Very nice and friendly place, good coffee and cakes. Would be 5 stars but I wanted to pay cash and they only take card payments.

Third trip here recently. Once for coffee and cake and once for brunch, today for lunch. Squeezed us in to a reservation. Stood for a while as they were busy and we couldn’t see what table we had (no name on it due to later reservation already on table). Friendly staff, great paninis; with coleslaw, crisps and bit of salad. Perfect portion. Good range is soft drinks. Cakes running out by 1.30 sadly. Still loved it. May benefit from some larger tables or square ones to accommodate slightly larger groups?

We had tea, coffees and the most delicious chocolate brownies. The farm shop has an extensive range of fresh produce, jams pickles and frozen foods.

A lovely relaxing place to take refreshment. The staff are very nice. A good pot of tea!

We were recommended this place by the landlord of a local pub. It was a good place for a cuppa and a piece of homemade cake. Lovely, fair price and friendly staff.

We came here for coffee and cake in the afternoon. Stood outside waiting to order for 10 minutes. Ordered 2 key lime and courgette slices of cake and 2 coffee's. We sat down and 45 minutes later 2 coffee's arrived luke warm. Then we were told only 1 slice of cake left. Surely they would know this when taking our order. The tables were filthy, most weren't cleared, when they were , nobody could be bothered to wipe them down. The staff are just young kids that don't want to be there. What a shame as the cakes and food have always been very good, and it was not very busy,so no excuses.

A delicious lunch. Good choice of hot and cold food and vegan catered for. Excellent customer service. Highly recommended.

Not a good experience since opening up after Covid. Such a shame to see this place I love going gradually downhill.

I love this place. I visit regularly. But I eat anything but cheese. And they serve everything with cheese. Out of around fifteen dishes thirteen had cheese. Including all four “specials “. I had the choice of ham or tuna sandwich. Except they had run out of ham- I wonder why? Oh or hot tomato and basil soup when it was 39 outside. Someone there clearly loves the stuff but please think of those of us who dont.

A very good array of home made cakes and nice fresh tea and coffee ( real tea leaves not bags!). There is a choice if outside and indoor seating. Outside is amongst the nursery plants which is novel and indoors was in a lean to . The furniture is best described as shabby sheik. Also surrounded by pot plants of different heights. Service was good . The nursery was small but interesting plants and a farm shop attached was very expensive we thought.

Absolute gem, the shop and nursery are very well stocked, coffee and food delicious and the view from just outside the shop is stunning.

Always a lovely place to go for a light lunch and some really great cakes .The best Quiche in Sussex too.

The Potting Shed coffee shop a real sun trap today, very busy but a good selection of plants at good prices.

Went here today and the staff mixed up the orders and were not that great. My disabled mother asked for the toasted sandwich menu and the girl said shes too busy. But she is disabled and can't get up the step they have so can't even order. No set table numbers and disorganized so they don't know where they're taking the orders. Tables not cleaned before we sat. Need to get a bit more organized and be more disable friendly

Beautiful place for coffee, cakes or a light lunch. Super quality grub in lovely surroundings, overlooking the nursery sales area (lovely quality plants too!).

Perfect in every way. The food is delicious, home made with excellent ingredients. I enjoyed carrot soup with tasty bread. Variety of teas and coffees. The ambience is superb whatever the weather, electric fires and cosy blankets when not so warm, tables outside in the warmer weather.

Lovely shop everything we have ever bought is always the highest quality (you get what you pay for) lovely friendly staff. The cafe is excellent with amazing cakes and drinks, and lovely staff. The only downside is some people sit talking at the tables for a long time which can make it difficult to get a table at busy times (not a fault of the cafe)

Absolutely brilliant place cheese scones are to die for

Only the second time we have visited and we were very pleased to do so, the staff were very helpful, my cheese and onion roll was perfect as was the coffee, as was my wifes cake and tea, the garden and shop staff were very attentive and as we are OAPs the tranquility was all we could wish for so please give your staff a big thank you from us both, we will return you are on our sat/nav!!!

Well stocked farm shop. Nursery has some interesting plants. Best apple and cinnamon cake at tearoom ..sells out very quickly. Tranquil setting. Dog friendly.

The only downside is ,you cant see the cakes so your choice is blind.the florentine was not a florentine ,tasteless and just peanuts on a burnt base. other than that the plant selection is amazing, and the staff are lovely.

The BEST coffee and cake you will ever have. All made on site and all delicious! Farm shop is excellent for bread, fruit, veg, cheese, pies and all the usual you'd expect. Lovely setting, which you can pre book, and it just feels so lovely there. No, I don't work there or know anyone, we just genuinely love the place. It's a little jewel in Catsfield. 😁

Just caked for a cuppa and cake. What great service and friendly people. The cakes were to die for and the coffee delicious too. The best way to spend a saturday afternoon. Superb!

A great tea room in a very tranquil setting.

Very pleasant garden or conservatory setting and small but tasty freshly made menu. Not cheap but delicious. Outdoor chairs uncomfy with no seat pads. Peaceful. Plus lovely plants including colourful roses reasonably priced. Homemade pies etc for sale in the little shop.

Asked staff about a not very healthy plant I wanted to buy not interested at all

I love visiting Great Park farm and the cafe , but unfortunately not enough care was given on our last visit with the coffee. As a coeliac and dairy free, I asked for almond milk. I was unknowingly served an oat milk late which I quickly realised was not the almond milk I ordered. Oat milk is not suitable for a gluten free diet and as a coeliac I cannot tolerate it. I did advise the young staff that they cannot substitute dairy free milks and in this instance they had no reason to do so as they then brought me out an almond milk. Staff need to be properly trained for dietary requirements.

Great indeed! Really lovely independent place, in ab great setting, marvellous selection of beautiful, healthy plants. Very helpful staff, I have difficulty walking a lovely young, male member of staff noticed this and asked me if I'd like a trolley which he was good enough to actually fetch for me. The little café served a really nice pot of tea - and a lot of other customers at nearby tables were exclaiming how superb the cakes were!!! I can't wait to return - and next time, I will definitely be having cake!! 😊

Really just went for the cafe but sat in the gardens. Very peaceful, beautifully laid out. Went with some friends and we had coffee and cake. Delicious and reasonably priced.

Great vegan, gluten free and veggie options! Super lovely staff and a beautiful setting with really nice coffee. (Lemon and blueberry vegan came in picture). Face masks required inside, only outdoor seating at the moment but some seats under shelter. Lots of parking and also dog friendly!

Great Park Farm is a gem of a nursery – the plants are always in beautiful condition, everyone is very helpful and knowledgeable. Recently their website purchasing had a problem and they (Tom) immediately sorted out my order personally to ensure that I got the plants I wanted. They really care and it shows. Great quality veg and fruit in the shop with lots of home-made goodies (cheese scones like no other!) and you will be tempted by the café cakes. Very friendly place and they even have a little peaceful garden you can walk around. We are very lucky to have Great Park Farm locally.

Called in looking for a little gardening present (small selection only) and stumbled on delicious coffee and cake, really extensive selection of excellent quality plants and seedlings, good farm shop.

What a lovely visit we had ,such a lovely atmosphere, great labelling of plants and a lovely cuppa and cake, thanks felt like near normal again !!!!

Lovely. As always. Sat outside and enjoyed a cracking cup of coffee, listened to the birds and plenty of room for our little one to run around.

Contacted Great Park Farms for a bespoke request of a reoccurring cake delivery, they were able to handle it perfectly! From the exciting selection of various cakes, to the easy process of setting it up, and the amazing quality and freshness of the final products. I cannot praise them enough! Thank you to the team and everyone involved.

Amazing cake and coffee before our walk to Battle

The cafe sells the best cakes in the area, the shop has the best quiches, pies and bread. Vegetables are also good quality. Definitely worth a visit

Consistently good cakes and light lunches. Excellent quality produce, deli and pies available to take home from the adjoining shop. One of those rare places that doesn’t cut corners and always uses quality ingredients. Friendly, knowledgable and helpful staff too.

Just a lovely place to visit and buy excellent an excellent range of food and plants. The fresh fruit & veg is great quality and, as none of it is pre-wrapped in plastic packaging, it's an almost zero waste purchase. You also only buy as much as you need, not as much as the supermarket thinks you need. It's a better, ethical and local place to shop. Oh, and the staff are great too! Highly recommended.

Our Grandson and his Girlfriend visited there yesterday hoping for a snack and drink. Ordered 2 iced teas and a scone with butter and cheese, after 15 mins the teas turned up HOT, on pointing out their wrong order 2 ice cubes were dropped in the tea, no butter with the scones, one fork between them and this was after a 30 minute wait. We were going to try out this place, now ...... NO WAY !!

I was a regular visitor to GPF prior to lockdown and so was delighted when they found ways to help their customers still buy their produce when the shop had to close! The ordering system is simple and the collection well organised with lovely fresh goods. Thoroughly recommend GPF both for an line order and also for a visit to their shop and cafe when all is open......

Now that Covid lockdown is relaxing, I feel it is time to say thank you to this amazing team. Together with our local fish shop, we have lived very healthily. The highlights of their online shop is the excellent fruit and veg. The strawberries and raspberries and pears in particular last well. The vacuum packed gammon and the bacon is very good. No excess water comes out of the bacon. For a very special treat, the lime and courgette cake is stunningly good and stays moist for days. They have rapidly adapted to becoming Covid safe. They deserve their obvious success. They have had an amazing number of orders but remain calm and patient all the time!

In a word - Superb. We were taken there by neighbours as we went out for a dog walk. We psrked in the csr park then out through the back of the car park is a gate and thro that down a lane, across a field into Powdermill Wood. Beautiful. Back at Great Park Farm we had homemade cakes and coffee, fantastic. The farm shop was wonderful and a very nice nursery. Will be back.

Café open and lots of extra seating in the gardens and polytunnel area as well as the original café area. Lovely big flat whites in compostable single use cups. One way system in operation. Great quality plants.

Needed fresh produce during lockdown and you were recommended by a Battle resident. Never looked back. Have been a weekly customer since mid-March 2020. Excellent food and service delivered to our door. Michael.

What a lovely surprise on Fathers Day. Cakes, cheeses, chutney and biscuits sent from our daughter Daisy and personally delivered by merry Meghan at 5pm on the dot on Saturday during lockdown. Great service. Nothing was too much trouble. Thank you . Chris Campbell

First visit here, plenty of parking. Not a massive quantity of plants but certainly enough to find some to purchase! I will definitely be visiting again as I've heard the cakes are fabulous so need the cafe to be open and will probably not escape without buying another plant or two!

Have been ordering for delivery since lockdown started in March. Excellent service, great quality produce and plants and sublime cakes! What more is there to say. A small local business who has risen to the challenge magnificently and succeeded in providing an excellent service

They serve my favourite cakes in the world. The apple and cinnamon and lime and courgette cakes are highly recomended. It is only a small space and is always popular but all thefod is homemade and you'll love it.

Popped in for coffee and cake as we were staying at a nearby campsite. The selection of unusual cakes is amazing. Enormous slices and delicious. Lovely little garden centre too. Not to be missed.

We love the Nursery and have always visited the cafe on our visits. It is very individual, relaxing little cafe and they even have Gluten free cakes amongst the delicious selection baked daily. I am a coeliac and also dairy free and have always enjoyed their soya latte, but to my disappointment, they have now stopped providing Soya milk as a choice.

Beautiful freshly baked cake, great coffee and non dairy alternatives to milk. Service is always good. Lovely conservatory. And a great farm shop to look round afterwards.
