Not a vast menu for choice, fish & chips was nice, hike upstairs to use the toilet. Good that gluten free battered fish is offered.

Eaten here several times and it just gets better. New menus with amazing choice - plenty for the more adventurous, great burgers and veg/GF options. Fab relaxed atmosphere. Service cannot be faulted. Love it.

Last year my Christmas meal here was divine. This year it was just OK. If you're a vegetarian expect much smaller meals than your meat eating friends will get. My friends and I had an item missing from our dish which was eventually served up as a side. If the staff hadn't tried to convince us it was actually IN the dish, which clearly it wasn't, we wouldn't have minded so much. Overall - nice flavours, but inconsistent construction of the dishes. If you eat meat you'll probably enjoy it, if not, look elsewhere until things improve.

Busy place. A couple of our meals were swimming in oil. The wrong dessert was presented and another dessert wasn't served at all. One waiter was reaching across in front of people serving the person next to them. Not impressed at all. The standard of food and it's presentation lacked taste and finesse. For the prices being asked, it's frankly a rip off.

Food very good and plentiful. Marked down one star only because one of our party had a fish dish which was a bit bland and another wished that they could have been offered an alternative to sprouts. Service was efficient and unobtrusive. There was some thumpy music in the background which was slightly annoying. Just a note, it's an old building and access isn't the best if you have a mobility issue. Overall a very pleasant experience though.

Went for my husbands birthday last week. Both courses were amazing, no room for a dessert, but sure that would've been good too

Disappointed Extravagant descriptions, but overcomplicated dishes with bad flavor combinations.

We had a great Sunday roast with an exceptional service and a fantastic lean roast rib of beef. Our party of 6 included 3 over 90 year-olds, and they all enjoyed the roast dinner. Unfortunately, we waited over 35 minutes for our desserts? It transpired that the kitchen had run out of bananas for the fritters. Rather than tell us, so we could order an alternative, we were made to wait for the kitchen staff to go get bananas? Then, the fritters were soggy and not eaten. The sticky toffee pudding was cold when served, I assume it was left waiting for the bananas!? It was eaten, but not enjoyed. The manager apologised and refunded the 2 uneaten desserts. The service was good. The staff were superb and friendly. A shame about the desserts, but it was resolved satisfactorily, albeit the elderly in our party were impatient, caused by the delay.

Been here several times and this was the best yet. Attentive friendly service from all the staff throughout the evening service with a genuine smile. All four of us had mains and dessert and the quality was excellent in all 8 dishes. Great value for money. So why not a 5 star review? Let down by awkward access to toilet facilities and the gents was far from clean. The other issue was less important but just to mention the availability of a 'good' ale would be another improvement. However, very good and we will look forward to returning.

Very rude lady who greeted us on arrival, as if we had just walked off the street. My wife ordered risotto which was done in about 5 minutes! It was also very wet for a risotto. I ordered sea bass chowder, my fault ordering it but it wasn’t good. Asked for the bill and they knocked a starter off. Won’t be returning. Barry

Me and my partner had the most wonderful experience at Graze tonight. The food came very quickly and was fresh from the kitchen, we were served with huge portions and VERY attentive staff. We had ordered bloody Marys and decided we didn't like them, leaving them mostly untouched our waitress noticed this and took them off our bill without any trouble (or us having to ask) we loved it here so much and can only commend the staff and kitchen

Gem of a place and well worth the trip from Norwich to experience. Food and cocktails were superb with excellent service. Will definitely be looking to visit again in the future.

Blue cheese burger was brilliant, classic burger and even lemonade was stand out good. Delightful staff and pleasant and plentiful outside terrace seating, although we moved tables to avoid noisy AC unit and toilets.

Went in the afternoon and wasn't very busy, but a very chilled atmosphere, and the food was fantastic, the children's fish fingers are not what i was expecting, but they went down a treat, I can't find a fault with this venue. Can't wait to go back.

Fantastic place, great atmosphere and the staff are all lovely. Dog friendly and the courtyard is beautiful. Sure it’s more expensive than sitting outside spoons but it’s worth every penny! Will be back again very soon!

So disappointed with the Sunday roast, we couldn't even cut the 2 measly slices of beef, they just stretched lime chewing gum. The replacement slices were so thin and small with big strips of gristle at the edge. The pork was pink and again had inedible gristle in the centre so not sure what joint this was. A whole hard carrot as veg, lazy and unappetising, with a bit of red cabbage. Don't think the small pieces of roast potato would have made 1 whole potato and there was a huge block of stuffing as big as a flapjack. No thanks, this is unacceptable.

Great place to eat. The burgers are fantastic and at a reasonable price haven't found better, absolutely amazing. Had a lovely lunch sitting outside in the sunshine and well behaved dogs also welcome in the garden.

Lovely restaurant, serving a good choice of food and drinks. Great atmosphere and pleasant outside space, too. Personnel very friendly. This is our third visit as we're not local, but would choose here to eat whenever we're in the area (along with a couple of other places!)

Really great restaurant in Beccles

Tried to book to eat here & left a message on their phone as invited given that they don’t open til 6pm. No one responded and when we visited tin person were were told off for leaving a message! No welcome or apology. This was midweek 630pm Had a lovely meal elsewhere. My tip for the manager is that if you don’t want people to leave messages don’t invite them to do so. We could have been invited to have a drink whilst waiting for a free table…..

Went last Saturday lunchtime. Lovely atmosphere outside and the waiting staff were lovely. Had a sandwich with rosted red pepper and hummus. Came with salad. The peppers were left whole so very difficult to eat, some of mine had that fizzy taste when things have gone off and fermented. Gritty salad then found a 5p sized piece of mud in it. Hummus was curry flavoured which wasn't mentioned on the menu and actually was quite unpleasant. I mentioned the dirt and fizzy peppers to the waitress who said she'd let the kitchen know. And that was it! No sorry or offer of a reduction in the bill, nothing. I know they were busy but dirt and gone off food isn't acceptable. Won't go back.

Popped in for lunch and was very pleased we did. Crab spaghetti was excellent. Son is lactose intolerant and was hoping for a burger which had milk within. No problem, the chef kindly made a one off and even offered to go shopping for bread rolls instead of brioche. All in all, great experience and highly recommend

Pleasantly surprised at outside dining area. Arrived with 2 dogs in party no problems in finding seats. All burgers ordered were very good. Chips need improving though, coleslaw excellent. Looking forward to coming again

Had a great night a graze, really fun atmosphere and comfortable. Lovely outdoor area that’s really chilled. Staff were really helpful and friendly. Food was absolutely amazing, I had the Mac and cheese burger and it was delicious, then churros for dessert 10/10. All burgers come with generous amount of fries and coleslaw! All in all great night.

Everything about the evening for my friends hen do was 5 stars. I can highly recommend the friendly helpful staff including Stacey for making our evening a memorable one. The food was amazing and very good value. Thank you, will definitely be returning.

Was a lovely place food was 5 stars absolutely amazing so much flavour the staff don’t think there’s enough stars could give them they was absolutely brilliant went out with our newborn for some food and walk about he’s a bit fussy and likes to be held staff offered to hold him whilst we ate which was so nice and he loved it they was so nice and polite and helpful hands down best staff I’ve ever come across deffo going to be going back ( just the two of us tho lol )

We had booked for Lunch and had a lovely meal.We chose 4 starters and all were very tasty and well presented.Compliments to the chefs on creating a delicious menu.The staff were all very friendly and took time out to chat to us.We will definitely be returning again.

Having been to graze a number of times for food I've never enjoyed the food or the experience much but I went in to have a drink last nite we were rudely told to go upstairs and we waited and waited no one came to take our drinks order barely a sole in there I've never met such a rude nasty women in all my life to safely say I then had a screaming row outside with the short guy behind the bar over the short haired women upstairs I will never ever go to graze again. I will also be cancelling my table booking at easy tiger service is everything my advice is to go and have drinks at the wine vault lovely friendly staff place was packed and buzzing I'm disgusted by the staff at graze bunch of Jerks

What a gem hidden away in Beccles. We found this pub by chance and was pleasantly surprised as how good the food and atmosphere were. Sticky toffee pudding to die for. Will be going back. They also have more rooms upstairs.

Came to Beccles just for this restaurant (and sister Easy Tiger). Had an amazing stay many years ago at Satis House, so had to take a visit to Kevin and David's current venture. Wasn't disappointed!

Absolutely marvellous!! I had the pork belly with fondant potato, balsamic onions and carrots. The meat absolutely fell away!! Staff wonderful as usual and the homemade chocolate truffles were to die for and made on the premises. I teamed that with the best expresso martini in Beccles....perfect combination. Well done Kevin and David!! I thanked the chefs too !!

We had a works Xmas meal last night and my first visit. I was not disappointed. The food was very good. Jo and her team did a great job looking after us. I would highly recommend and visit again - I am on Friday for another works Xmas meal! A great place to eat in our lovely town of Beccles. 5 stars all round for The Graze :)

Food took longer than expected but still fantastic once arrived

Food was great. HOWEVER the staff (when I say staff I mean the blonde woman with short hair) was extremely rude. We spent £170 here and she made us feel very uncomfortable and hurried throughout. Each task seemed a bit of an effort. On the way out she made a very rude comment about my party which by the way did NOT go unheard. Awful attitude. I recommend that you do not work in the public sector if you simply do not like people. What a let down to your business.

Starter portions very small and overpriced. My friend had a lump of tinned chestnuts in her tasteless soup, but they did take it off the bill. Bar man was sarcastic and rude when I asked the the drink that I actually ordered. The rest of the food was underwhelming. Would not go back.

No food but excellent cocktails

We went for my partners 60th birthday meal for 7 of us .food was amazing staff very friendly and efficient luvly atmosphere we had a luvly evening.

The food. Well I had a starter my wife didn't. Wild mushroom pate, served with a burnt slice of toast and some black sauce. Not very tasty at all. The mains. 10oz ribeye, a plate of gristle unable to cut with the steak knife. An onion fritter the size of a clenched fist. Just too much. The confit duck leg was overcooked and dry. Served with duck bolognese crispy bacon and a roasted onion. The bolognese was just pulled duck or pork I couldn't tell with bacon bits. Over complicated comes to mind. The service was OK. We sat in the back where you can see the chefs at work. As our main was served the chefs packed up and went home. Would not recommend.

Great food, lovely presentation the flavour in the three-way burger was excellent also there was a gentle sweetness to it I loved it!!

Booked a meal for 7-30. Arrived at 6.45 so we could enjoy a few drinks 🍸 before our meal. But as soon as we ordered drinks we were asked if we could order our meals by a very rude waitress dressed in black with black hair didn't get her name. We were very rushed and it wasn't that busy, the meal adequate but not that good didn't bother with a sweet. Obviously didn't get a tip. Wouldn't eat there again.

Fabulous food lovely venue, great attentive staff and lovely cocktails

We arrived and we were seated by a super friendly lad and were told there may be a small wait due to a trainee chef working. Drinks came quickly and food was incredible! Massive respect to whoever the trainee chef was!! You did amazing! And to our table waiter...you made a first date so incredibly comfortable and easy! I don't normally write reviews but a 5* well deserved! Well done and thankyou!

We met for cocktails before going on for dinner. It was a lovely evening so we sat in the extensive outdoor area.

Popped in here for dinner whilst cruising the Broads. A nice place with good service and cheerful staff. I opted for the pork belly which was fine but, on reflection I should have gone for a burger as that's what they specialise in. Nice local beer too.

Really lovely atmosphere and I like that they have a good choice of you're veggie or vegan too. I had the halloumi burger and my friend had the vegan bean burger which she said was amazing. They do nice cocktails too. Staff were helpful and we weren't rushed. I will definitely return.

We had an ok meal but OMG, the staff were so rude to another table. A table next to us politely complained about their order being totally messed up - it was - and when the bill had been paid at the end of the meal an hour or so later the 'in charge' waitress was shockingly rude to several people on the table in an aggressive manner. The table were understandably perplexed. Dreadful waitress staff frightened me so i wont be going back!

What a great place for great burgers Staff were really friendly It was quite busy but we didn't have to wait long for food. Unfortunately I had a few drinks spilt over me by the barman. They couldn't have apologised enough. We all make mistakes and the apology was genuine. We will certainly return as the food was great Funky decor as well

Food was amazing, service was brilliant and cocktails were on point. Would be nice if they had a lunch menu. The upstairs cocktail bar was cozy and had a nice chilled vibe.

Great place to eat lovely surroundings

We visited at the end of summer when on a boating holiday around the broads. Couldn’t have been happier with the staff and restaurant as a whole. We were a large party of 13, booked a table in advance - we had three different families, 3 different tabs which the staff offered to do for us and everything was handled very well. Staff were really helpful. The food was brilliant, vegan options were very good. Most of the table went for the widowmaker burger - all said it was delicious! Would definitely recommend coming here, we hope to be back soon!
