Great atmosphere, wait staff is top notch and the food is amazing.

First visit here today and found a jewel. We both had omelettes which were generously loaded with additional ingredients. Food was delicious and tasted fresh. Coffee was just so-so but we caught them just before closing so I give them a pass on that. Prices were on par with other breakfast establishments but serving sizes were much larger. Service was prompt and friendly. Top of my list if I'm in Stillwater again.

Great food servers did a great job

The food is plentiful and fresh. Cinnamon rolls are sinful and tasty. There are a variety of breakfast options available. Highly recommended and will definitely be back.

Weekend's are usually busy. Good staff makes it flow. Good food and fair prices.

VERY BUSY on a Sunday morning (and rightfully so). We waited about a half-hour to get a table. Good down-home (greasy) cooking. Great, friendly service made for an enjoyable visit. We all left feeling very full!

My husband and I happened to be in the area and came across this fabulous cafe. It's not very often you walk into a very busy cafe and are greeted in such a friendly and cheerful manner. The food is cooked to order but still comes out very promptly and is absolutely delicious. We both had breakfasts. Prices are reasonable and staff are amazingly friendly! Thank you! This place is spot on!! The food was absolutely delicious. Some of the best breakfast we have had. The orange juice is fresh squeezed and tastes amazing. The server was friendly, quick and helpful with suggestions. If you are in Stillwater you have to do breakfast at Granny’s Kitchen!

Went expecting great food. Ordered sausage gravy and biscuit. Got a cold biscuit and just warm milk gravy with "0" sausage. Not the best experience 😕

The atmosphere is nice. Probably a good bar experience in the evening. Easily the worst coffee/latte I've ever tasted in my life. Did they put American coffee through the espresso machine? I wouldn't doubt it. The Florentine Benedict had canned/jarred mushrooms of small equal size. The bell peppers were all similar cube sizes - clearly prepackaged, not fresh. Ditto for frozen spinach. Soggy English muffin. I guess if you're a student who doesn't cook, this is palatable. I would've paid extra for good quality, fresh ingredients. Not returning.

Granny's has yet to disappoint when it comes to food. I was a little disappointed with their retail area while you wait. Seems to be just t shirts hanging in any order one Glass and some framed pics of grannies adventures but over all if your looking for a small town feel home cooked types of food or some special sweet breakfast and desserts only granny would make the time to cook than this is your perfect spot!

Went two days in a row. Ms Janet was our server the first day and then LeaAnne, her daughter, was our server the next day. Both of them were just so kind, friendly, and very knowledgeable. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

First thing is to make sure you book as relatively cosy and clearly well frequented. Went with a friend as one of our fortnightly breakfast explorations. Super friendly (call out to Emma!). All day menu including breakfast, soup, ham, egg and chips. They are proud of their local sourcing and the ingredients are good quality. Range of sizes for breakfasts from about £7 up to £14. We had the “Ripper” which was three of everything - well prepared and tasty - it defeated both of us 🤣

Our party turned from 2 to 3. We had planned ahead this time and booked a table. Parked on the street outside and our table was reserved when we arrived Very friendly staff. Orders taken and our food didn’t take long to get to us at all. Like the 2 previous cafes we’d been to. The quality of the food was top notch. After our last experience we all went for the Weedon regular rather than the Weedon ripper. There was more than enough on this plate. We all finished and were more than happy with what we had. I’m trying to think of something to moan about during our breakfast club visits but I can’t. They left one of the plates with a piece of bacon short but this was rectified within seconds. Great Service. We asked numerous times were we ok. Which was nice and showed they cared. Really enjoyed Breakfast this morning. Always Great Food and Service. A must stop every trip to Stillwater

I asked our server what she recommended and she did not disappoint! The food was excellent, the service was beyond excellent (don't know another word to describe it)! I ordered my eggs over-medium and they got it right!! If you are looking for an amazing dining experience, Granny's Kitchen is where it's at!

Small town diner atmosphere. The temperature was cold, which may be solely related to extreme cold weather at the time.

We came up to visit our friend nearby and after walking her dog along the canal we came to Granny's Cafe for something to eat. Luckily our friend had booked a table in advance! We were warmly greeted and shown to a large table which meant that our friend's dog could settle underneath it without causing an obstruction to others. There is an extensive menu and it took us a while to decide what to have, although we were quickly given our drinks so enjoy in the meantime. Since we were going out for dinner in the evening, we all chose something "light". Our friend had a tuna wrap, my husband had a bacon and egg panini whilst I had the sausage panini - all of which were absolutely delicious. Excellent value for money too. All of the staff were very friendly, helpful and made us so welcome. It was great to see it so busy, and obviously this cafe is very popular with the locals. Next time we're in the area we will definitely pop in - and make sure we book in advance in order to avoid disappointment. Thanks to everyone for a great time.

Great food, atmosphere, and service! Our favorite place to eat in Stillwater!

Emma was very welcoming and friendly, saying hello and offering me a table. The kitchen was a hive of activity, laughter and good vibes. The music was spot on with some Florence and the machine followed by oasis, I enjoyed my breakfast whilst singing along in my head, felt like a duet with the lad in the kitchen putting in a good chorus! What was great about the experience was that I was made to feel welcome, the food was served hot and was tasty. A recommendation of the weedon regular was a great one. The owner said hello too and it's great to see real polite, old fashioned customer service in this day and age. Well done team. Will be back 👍🏻👍🏻

Everything was delicious and made accordingly 😋. The latte was nom nom and the water tasted filtered. I had the Philly Benedict with hashbrowns cooked extra crispy with cheese and japs added. My guests had the breakfast quesodilla and a traditional breakfast with cinnamon roll... put a fork in it.

What a find. I googled best breakfast in Northamptonshire Anastasia it did not disappoint! Absolutely fabulous, so accommodating and excellent ingredients. Nothing was too much trouble, which is invaluable to a mum of 3 little ones. Thank you for a relaxing, friendly morning

Having read the reviews I called and booked ahead as recommended. Arrived 10 minutes early and was still catered for. Grannie’s cafe was busy with locals, a hallmark for quality!!!! Food was incredibly delicious as was the tea, coffee and service. Had the dirty fries and will return again, lovely.

Overall the experience was very good. The food was delicious but I wouldn't say the chicken and waffles was the best. The cowboy breakfast was amazing and so was the breakfast sandwich on cibatta bread. The breakfast potato was bomb!

Yet another awesome breakfast at Granny's. The food is always outstanding, portion sizes are massive, and service is as attentive as can be considering they are always totally full. The wait is always long, but worth it in the end.

Love this place. The entire staff is welcoming and the chefs and cooks put love in every recipe. My family went for breakfast this specific time. I had the cowboy breakfast with a side of banana pecan pancakes. Delicious! I have to stop by Granny’s every time I touchdown in Stillwater.

Really recommend, warm welcome, friendly staff, good food, it’s worth reserving a table ahead as it is often busy, they had paintings from a local artist hanging on the walls they where so good we bought one of them too. Recommend the breakfast wrap.

Great place, very clean, built in a historic building. Overall grade A+ Grannys is well known, very popular amongst locals and visitors. Atmosphere can be quite overwhelming in that case.

Looking for somewhere to eat after trip to Weedon Depot, and was recommended by a local to try Granny's Cafe. Very glad we did - very friendly place and excellent food. I had a breakfast - the middle size, which was plenty. My wife had a cheese and onion toastie, which was done just how she likes it.

Love it here, its our favorite breakfast spot in town. On the pricey side, but get tons of food.

This food is beyond nasty, it is blande, the maple syrup tastes like water with a hint of artificial maple flavoring, and the eggs were over and under cooked. The service was horrible, they forgot my biscuits and sausage gravy, they forgot my wife's sauce for her specialty French toast, and they were very unattentive. I attempted to call them 5 times and they didn't answer once. The chicken fried steak has absolutely no seasoning and it it crispy on top and beyond soggy on the bottom. I've had better experience at ihop and shortcake diner off Perkins. Go somewhere else and save your money! it is claimed to be a "stillwater hit", but to me it's a "stillwater miss".

Wednesday lunch special of chicken fried steak with two sides and a slice of pie was outstanding. Great amount of food for the price too!

Good place if you are looking for some country style breakfast cooking a bit more upscale than your local diner. Still offers classic diner foods like eggs, pancakes, and biscuits and gravy but also crepes, eggs Benedict, multiple styles of omelets, chicken and waffles and a variety of specialty drinks. Also a good selection of sandwiches and burgers if you're looking for lunch I stead of breakfast options. Cozy atmosphere with a good location right on Main St.

This place is absolutely AMAZING from their homemade cinnamon rolls to those thick cut steaks, they aim to please & they DO !!!! I love everything on their menu….. All the breakfast items are way too much to finish but that’s ok, I take home & have it for lunch. The fajita salad is my most favorite But, I have many here!!! 🥰

Entrance not well marked. High energy atmosphere, and so loud that conversation was impossible. Asked some questions about various dishes/sides, and waitress was unable to answer. Our food came reasonably quickly, and portions were very large. Tots were crisp, veggies weren't ridiculously overcooked. The Baja Club Burger was very well done (would have preferred medium), and really needed some kind of sauce (even mayo). Open-face meatloaf was great, and plenty of gravy.

Second visit in 2 days and well worth the return. Great food, fantastic service and value for money. Breakfasts, tea and coffee are what you need to order. Whether you go for the full Weedon Ripper or just a normal breakfast you will be full up and not disappointed. A fantastic welcome and lovely people serving you plus good local information. Definitely worth a visit but thru can get busy so you can call ahead to see if they have a table. 🐧

We booked a table for 12 people after attending a wedding in the area the day before. Our booking was made last minute but was met with a very friendly welcome and service for all of us was amazing. Orders were placed and drinks came out swiftly. Food was fresh and cooked to perfection. Overall a fantastic experience.

You absolutely cannot beat a Granny’s breakfast… wonderful food and really lovely staff.. we are going far too often.. but always come away happy. No wonder they got an award for the best breakfast in Northamptonshire!

Post a wedding in the area the night before. My girlfriend and I found this cafe for breakfast, rather than the hotel and we were not disappointed. Grabbed the last available table and we were very lucky. Lots of people couldn't get seated cause it's so busy and that's because it's so good. A traditional style English cafe serving great quality food and drinks and at a very good price. The sausages are very very good. Please book though and you will love it.

We have been treating ourselves to a Granny’s breakfast from time to time for a few years & have never tasted anything to beat it. It’s not a large place & booking is essential as it’s always full & that’s understandable when you taste the food. Today I had a regular & it didn’t disappoint. Staff are always friendly as are the locals. Highly recommend.

Went for breakfast this morning and although the café was very busy the hostess, sorry didnt get your name, found a table for us. She explained that they were very busy and as all food is cooked fresh there would be a wait, but we could have as many mugs of tea as we wanted which was a bonus. When our food arrived we were not disappointed all good quality ingredients and all hot. We thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast and we will be going back. I have seen the comments about the parking, there is a village carpark just around the corner from the café which we saw on the way out. Before we go next time we will be sure to book as we dont want to miss out on a fabulous breakfast,

Apart from a nightmare finding a parking place, this was a great impromptu visit. Had the nipper breakfasts, which were very tasty and great quality, all cooked to order. The hot drinks kept really hot which was a nice change. We would definitely use this cafe again.

I was really excited to eat here while in Stillwater, however I was disappointed. It was crowded so we were put in an overflow basement which lacked atmosphere and felt closed in. Because there were no gluten-free options, my daughter was going to order a salad but the only dressing they had was ranch. I ordered a BLT and the bread was barely toasted and the bacon was gristley and not crisp at all. I feel like we wasted a meal.

sorriest excuse for chicken and waffles i’ve ever seen maybe got a chicken thigh’s worth of breast meat and the breading was soggy already and it took over an hour to get our food. never coming back.
