Grand Tandoori in Cardiff

I am writhing this review because I really am surprised you are still making enough money to survive as a business in this day and age. Also please take note I am not trying to be rude or mean please take this as a helpful review! Your business is in a great location with parking! Easy to order friendly staff and decent prices! But sadly the food is not so great I ordered chicken and Donna mix kebab the Donna was slightly edible but just no flavour and could have been cut slightly thicker and cooked a bit longer! Most important thing you need to take note of is the flavour with no flavour a kebab will just taste of rubber as it’s mainly meet fat. The chicken Donna was inedible for me hard chewy and the bits that were ok just didn’t taste like chicken I have to say.. again no flavour at all so just mainly chewy texture because there was no flavour at all so it extremely let’s the food down! Even if you were to just add some extra flavours into your meat your business would be doing better. But ideally you should reconsider your meat supplier and also focus on how your food is tasting and maybe then you could also slightly alter your prices as your meat cost more because people will pay good money for good food! The chips where however ok! It was also swimming in mayo.. which was awful and a complete waste of product as it was just too much very sickly. So overall a disappointment I haven’t tasted any of your other food your serve so I cannot comment. But you should strive for returning customers but serving this flavourless poor quality meat you are not going to get this. So for this reason I will not be returning. As a business that’s been open for a long time. I believe it is time to re think your menu and quality of food you serve then you can also alter your prices. Then you will achieve business profit also happy customers. So if you are just managing right now or believe as a business you are doing ok but you could be doing better then now is the time to move forward. If not I don’t think it will be long before your business will close down.

By far the worst kebab I've ever eaten!!!! the meat was terrible quality and barely cooked, the meat wasn't browned at all. It was more warm and floppy the texture and flavour was absolutely disgusting. I ate a small amount which tasted like it was going to make me ill due to its unbrowned lukewarm nature.i gave the rest of the dogs something tells me I'm going to be ill tomorrow.

Ordered food through food hub, they went to wrong address twice and had wrong mobile. The boss said two drivers were sent and knocked our door when they cant get to our door due to a gate, cctv showed no one was at my property and gave me stinking attitude on the phone making it seem our fault. Stay well clear!!!

Order never arrived and stopped answering the phone when they realised they had screwed up. Can't comment on the food but please don't give them your business

Food stone cold, chips like rubber, meat not cooked well at all and the chicken meat was very brown so not actually sure if it was chicken so all completely inedible. Will never ever go here again! I would urge you to do the same

Ours was really good. Two Pizzas, Chicken Shish and fries. Ordered via Uber Eats and have to say the delivery driver was awesome. He knows why.

Ordered through their website. Our food came to £11.18, this price was confirmed through an email. Upon delivery we were charged £13.86. I showed the delivery guy the receipt and everything however he wouldn't take otherwise. This isn't acceptable.

Hubby went down for food, they said a price on the board, they refused to sell it to him saying the price was wrong, then told him the food was out of stock and the grill was closed, then because hubby asked questions they threatened to throw him out will never order from here again

Just ordered chicken wings!! Absolutely inedible!! Tough as old boots,pretty sure they are not fresh,cant even chew through one!!! Used this shop for years NEVER AGAIN

First time ordering food from here and never again was told its a 45 wait for delivery so said I'd like to collect instead , to be told no we just say 45 to a hour for a guide line will be with you about 20minutes , hour later an still no food should of read the comments before placing my order ...

What a bad experience order food for them to send wrong meal they then sent fresh and food was covered in grease, i would never recommend this place to anybody as u will always be disappointed and even when they recieve a bad review they will never address it to try rectify there bad customer service what an absolute joke of a fast food place and will boycot them from now on and spend money on nice food not greasy rubbish that could be served in mcdonalds

Steer well clear. Food is disgusting. Don't know how they can be in business. There are much MUCH better kebab house's in Ely so pick one and taste the difference. You have been warned..

This place should have a 0 rating.. Ordered in shop. Food was freezing soon as he gave it to me didnt evan leave the shop and when explained to guy who served me he jus gave me freezing cold food all i had was alot of attitude an he laughed in my face... No refuned or even offered to heat it up no appologie nothing... Never again would i go to this place.. Bare in mind guys this place has a 3star hygiene certificate an the other food shops next to it has a 1 an2 star an serve better food wats goin on

I was recommended by a friend to try this place. We ordered over the phone for collection. Everything was waiting for us and was nice and hot. We had the best tuck in special kebab. Lots of meat packed on a platter, all cooked well and treated nice. Also came with two pita breads salad and the sauces. Staff were pleasant.
