Absolutely lovely fish and chips cooked fresh some of the best I’ve had up this way. Would definitely recommend. Friendly staff also.

got a chippy tea from here on Friday night, and it was awful - chips where overcooked and cold, fish rock hard and everything was greasy - its like the oil hadn't been changed in ages and everything came in small polystyrene containers - this used to be one of the best in town, but I won't go back - awful

We travel over an hours drive one way well worth the visit fresh cooked food served with a smile best service and quality fish and chips eat in or out best value always ready to help out clean surroundings equipped for wheelchairs ready to help to gain access in and out private function rooms downstairs toilets as well as upstairs caters for all ages gluten free food choice too where would you get all this a credit to fleetwood town centre will always support this fish bar the best in the country they go the extra mile xx

Worst fish and chips we have ever had. Chips were not warm and hard. Fish overcooked. We had to throw almost all of them away. Wednesday 30th August went there for a chippy take away as we had family staying and they do gluten free option for me and we had been there before. We ordered 4 x regular fish and chips, 2 jumbo sausages and chips almost £40 and it was dreadful. They were not busy and from point opf order to collection we waited 35 minutes. Chips must have been standing for all that time.Ended up having something on toast so will not be back here again!

Fish and chips with peas or gravy or curry. Tea or coffee bread and butter for 4 people £37. Two had cod and 2 had hake. Top class food, couldn’t fault it. Will definitely be back 👍

Came here because of the positive reviews and we were in the area. I ordered the scampi and chips and husband had fish and chips. The chips were fantastic first of all. Second of all, the scampi tasted fresh and was juicy. NEVER have I tasted scampi this good. Husband's fish was basically half a whale and he thoroughly enjoyed it. Having a pot of tea just added to the experience. Well deserving of the excellent reviews it has.

Very enjoyable and excellent value for money. Enough on the plate for a hungry teenager and his equally hungry younger brother, well-fried fish (we had l each of haddock, plaice and cod and all were good sized pieces) and lovely chips; 'Fluffy inside' was the description offered by our ten year old. Friendly service, too. Highly recommended, and a return visit from us will be made very soon.

Our first fish and chips at the seaside since lockdown began. Plenty of space in the restaurant for social distancing and the place is spotless. Popped here on Sunday afternoon and was definitely disappointed. By the time we got back to our caravan to tuck in, we unfortunately found out that the chips were not throughly cooked and were hard and crunchy. It was pointless to go back and complain due to the distance but I can say that the majority of the meal went in the bin. I would not recommend.

While on holiday in the area we decided to pop in for fish n chips considering its such high standing on Tripadvisor. Well I don't really know where its got its such high scores from, the service was chaotic, the chips were ok and the chicken bits just generic frozen pieces taken out of a large bag, The fish was on the rather small side and I'm not even certain it was locally caught as there was no info boasting that fact, it certainly didn't remind me of a traditional fish n chip shop. wont be going back if we're ever in the area again.

Visited here for the first time since last year, new owners but even better than before. Sanitizer at The door, the lady serving washed her hands between each customer (her poor hands) all members of staff wearing masks. If only everywhere kept their customers safe in this way. Avoid if you are fussy about interior decor and pretentious menus. It’s more substance than style. Jump straight in for great fish and chips, value and service. Each member of staff with whom we had contact was enthusiastic, quick, well presented and friendly. It was a real delight to feel so welcome. I cannot speak highly enough of the service.

I went to the 'Famous Granada' during most of the Fylde Folk Festivals from 1992 to the last one in 2014. Visiting the town again this weekend, I was pleased to find it is as good as ever, although due to covid-19 it is currently offering only a take-away service. I was served a good sized and well-cooked cod and chips.

Great management of the present pandemic situation. Really good service and a great meal deal. Fish and Chips were excellent (batter on the fish was delicious) seems extremely popular for eat in and take outs.

Great fish and chips here, we've been a few times now when we're in the area. Excellent 'deal' price of meal plus drink, and to get hake on the menu is a major plus as it's seldom available in most fish and chip shops. Friendly service too. Definitely recommended.

Granada Fish Bar is the best chip shop in Fleetwood by a mile. The staff are always polite and friendly and their chips are fantastic. They offer a good variety of food - their battered sausages are wonderful - and they're cheap without compromising on quality.

We had lunch here and the fish (cod), chips and mushy peas were wonderful, as one would expect. Sadly the meat and potato pie was a disappointment. The pastry was thin and crisp, which was good, but the pie's filling was bland and mostly potato.

This is now our favourite fish and chip place in Fleetwood. Tasty fish and chips cooked to order and eaten parked up and looking at the big skies over the sea towards Barrow. Super and worth a bit of a trek to get there.

We visited this chip shop half way through a bike ride from Lytham to Fleetwood and back again. I wasn’t going to have fish and chips because we had had a cooked breakfast at the hotel but seeing the “award winning fish and chips “ sign I couldn’t resist and we shared a regular cod and small chips.

I asked what the difference is between the fish cake and a special fish cake... the lady said the special fish cake has more fish in it... so the fish cake I take it has more potato in it ... so that isn’t really a fish cake is it ?

Always good this local fish bar has at least been around as long as me. We normally grab a chippie tea and dodge the rain to eat them on the prom. There's no parking but it's less than a two minute walk to free parking

If you look through my reviews you will see some for locations in Whitby and up until i found this place i didn't think anywhere could be better for fish and chips.

It has all the pluses, nice clean and fresh restaurant, spotless toilets. The staff are refreshingly polite and friendly. The fish and chips were made to order without a hint of grease being present. All in all a very pleasant experience.

We have known for some time that this business is for sale,and found out today that it was sold in January this year.

We had Cod, Jumbo Sausage, Chips, Mushy Peas and Curry sauce and all of the food was lovely. The Cod and peas were particularly nice. The staff were friendly and efficient and the premises is very clean and nicely decorated. We would definitely recommend a visit.

Finally found a good fish and chip restaurant in Fleetwood. The place is spotless with plates cleared so that you can finish your tea in comfort. Portions were a little on the small size but larger portions are available if required.My vegan son said the vegie burger with salad was good. Prices were reasonable for the seaside.

Having had a dreadful dining experience in Fleetwood some years ago, we were very apprehensive about looking for food there again, and chanced on this chippy.

Quite famous and well deserved as open more than most even during the winter. Excellent food with great choices. I use here whenever I visit fleetwood.

Checked internet for gluten free fish & Chips near Freeport, Fleetwood. It came up with The Fish House & Granada Fish Bar. We tried the Granada first but not only do the NOT sell gluten free fish and chips on weekends but the were unhelpful.

We ate in and the service was very quick.

This is a truly great fish&chip; restaurant. I've been here several times and it's always good. The only thing that stops me giving it the full five stars is the measly sized cup of tea you get with the fantastic priced fish&chip; deal. If there's two of you you get a tiny cup and a tiny pot of hot water that would just about give you one cup never mind two.

We came here for lunch and decided to eat in the restaurant as it was cold outside. We were served quickly, I would have had the meal deal but they had no herbal or fruit tea options so I just had cod and chips and a bottle of water. It arrived fairly quickly and was nice and hot. My only criticism was the batter on the fish which was a bit limp, I prefer mine to be crispy. Overall the prices were good and I would definitely recommend.
