GPO Cafe & Rooms Leith in Edinburgh, City of

I moved in and due to this corono stuff they don't give you fresh towels and only change and clean your room once a week.. This won't work for me so it's to the council tommorow to get emergency viris corono19 funds to buy towels but if they don't allow you acsees to washing facilitys then it's buy use once and bin. Like the council tells to to wash hands and keep clean but then you have to use dirty towels . Apart from that my room is OK needs a paint...

Great tea room, with a lovely atmosphere.

Big rooms, really clean and great location.

We had a great night in a very generously sized double room for only £69 for the night. The hotel is very close to the Shore down in Leith and all its cool bars and cafes as well as Michelin starred The Kitchin. Also, there's a bus stop nearby, which takes you right up to the city centre so don't bother with Uber etc. The host/manageress was really nice and helpful. The cafe is also well presented and the whole place is just simple and clean.

Excellent cafe with superb coffee

Really good hot chocolate for under £3. Pastries were ok. Lots of room for buggies, although there’s a few steps outside.

A lovely place to stay if you want somewhere with personality, warm hospitality and affordable prices, thoroughly recommend.
