Very good food for quite good value and the delivery is normally fast and efficient and easier now they have adapted to allow for JustEat as well to make ordering easier but normally quite good for a cheap takeaway.

food was delivered early, curry was very watery, and they gave me special rice instead of special chowmein. woman on the phone was rude and said would you like to keep the rice and give you chowmein next time. no! then had to wait 45mins after dinner originally arrived for chowmein to be delivered. chowmein was worst ever v v greasy ended up leaving it!

Firstly, they didn't phone on arrival as requested and just knocked which disturbed a housemate. Secondly the lid was off of one of the dishes and so there was sweet and sour sauce everywhere in the bag. The 'special fried rice' was clearly boiled rice with a number of different meats put in. The chicken fried rice had uncooked peas in it. The curry sauce and sweet and sour sauce was watered down massively, perhaps to save money. Awful restaurant, do not order from there.

Avoid this place the food was cold and the delivery driver was very abusive because I said I wasn't going to pay for cold food if I could give this place zeros stars then I would also half the order was missing very unhappy

30 minutes late! Girl on the phone was rude told me there was loads of traffic then saying it might be traffic! Not even an appology and still havent recieved the food i ordered an hour and 15 minutes ago!

1 person sweet and sour chicken Hong Kong style with noodles. Very very greasy and extremely salty. I had to throw the meal away after a few mouthfuls.

Food arrived early but was terrible, went straight in the bin! Couldn't see any beef in the crispy beef and not even any egg in the egg fried rice! I was hungry when I ordered, now I'm hungry and angry. Should have ate the £20 note I used to pay, probably would have been tastier!

First time ordering from here and the last time too. I've been at work since 4am and absolutely starving marving so I ordered a 16:05 with s delivery time of 17:15. I hadn't received anything by 17:30 so I gave them a call. They told me it had been delivered , which I said no it hasn't . The person in the phone was clearly a minor and didn't know what he was talking about . After 30 mins of faffing about they decided to resend my order . It came at 18.20 and the driver said sorry I delivered your last order to 51 down the road . I didn't get any money off my food as I pre paid . Good was hot but not as nice as I expected throughly disappointed and very HANGRY

First time ordering from Gourmet Chinese as they are more than 2miles away. ordered food at 7:40 and informed that it would arrive at 9:40 but food came arrived at 8:10 (quicker than expected and still hot). Thoroughly enjoyed the food will be ordering from here again!!! Didn't mind paying the extra £1 for delivery as the experience was worth it!

Ordered from here before and it was fine but very disappointing this time, the duck was inedible, cold and fatty, the sauce really was watered down. Requested extra pancakes but these didn't come. Overall quite disappointing.
