Great bubble tea. Lots of flavours. Though there was a long line. Automated order system via an iPad. Nice vibes. I recommend normal pearls as brown sugar ones are very very sweet.

Authentic Chinese food in the heart of the city. Really friendly staff and facilities. The mixed meat and rice combinations can't be found anywhere else in London. Such unusual flavours coming together in a unique way. Reminded me on the food I would have in Hong Kong and China growing up. Really nostalgic feel to the place.

Straw was unusable. I couldn't drink from it. It collapses when you try drink.

Warm milk tea was disappointing. The boba were stuck together in a large clump at the bottom of the cup and were impossible to separate with the paper straw.

bubble tea shop no fresh milk, the pearl tasted like half cooked. no queue, order straightaway. But the girl put ice in my no idea order. I pointed out, she poured the ice out, gave me the same one

I loved their taro bubble tea, it's great.

I tried the peach tea with popping pearls it was nice but the other one which I tried passion fruit with tapioca pearls, I only liked the passion fruit tea as the tapioca pearls were very hard and not chewy at all.

I should’ve had a look at the reviews before queueing in. This is possibly the worst outlet for Chatime, ruining the franchise name. The bubble teas we had were awful, and the service was just poor and slow, making people leave after they'd already wasted half an hour waiting in line. Chinatown has many other good options for having decent bubble tea so steer clear of this place at any cost. It's just not worth it.

Service was good. Burger was tasty and staff very friendly! The portion had a heavy emphasis on quality over quantity and was not greasy

We came across this place by chance whilst looking for somewhere to and we were very pleased with it. Staff were lovely and our food (cheesebuger and chicken burger) arrived in reasonable time and both were delicious. Chips were great and coleslaw was generous and very tasty it got busy in there after we arrived, which is a good sign. We thought it was a bit on the pricey side, but then we aren't used to London prices! We'd definitely eat there again though.

Firstly it was crowded and took a long time. I got brown sugar pearl milk tea. The tea was good but the bubbles were little hard.

Went to this place about a year ago ordered grilled chicken burger. It came stone hard dry. Came back today to give them another chance - waited for 45minutes and even the starters didn't come. It was only 5-6 tables taken and about 6 members of staff serving They were more concerned about takeaway orders...Glasses and water bottle were full of limescale, when mentioned they said it was from salt of dishwasher. Had to get attention of waiters, no one was paying attention. We were so hungry so went to complain and it was not even in process of being ready so we walked away. Some other customers complained that their burgers were burnt too... all in all Avoid at All Cost and went to 5 Guys and got served in 7minutes with delicious burgers. Never again!

Should have read the reviews before I go. I added toppings for the tea. They use the paper straws which would not work at all for the toppings. They all stay on the bottom of the cup and I ended up throwing them away after trying for minutes. Totally a waste of money. Milk tea was very watery. One of the worst bubble tea experiences. They should offer a refund if you can't even drink what's in the cup.

I should have read the reviews before going. Worst bubble tea I have ever had. We got taro milk tea with the regular tapioca toppings. The tapioca weren't cooked properly so they had a very hard center and the taro milk tea was very powdery. The powder just would bot dissolve no matter how much we stirred. Also had no taro flavour. Very clearly using the cheapest ingredients possible....This is in no way traditional Taiwanese bubble tea.

The place is located in the China Town district of London and is overcrowded. You have to wait for a simple bubble tea in a little and unclimatized room with many other people like you. It looks that the waitress did not understand my order, refused to admit she made a mistake and refused to add the missing ingredient as 'I had already hold the plastic glass' she said (glass was still unopened when I asked her). It was really not the best Chatime where I came in the world.

I bought a chocolate milk tea and ordered it with strawberry pearls. The cashier did explain how to do the order well but then as I gave him my money, he asks the girl making the orders how to check for counterfeit money out loud in the shop for everyone to hear then the other work comes along to see I guess "the show." Extremely poor customer service and lack of respect for some buying from your establishment. If you felt that you needed to check it, then do a quick check and be done. I was taken aback by the action. THEN after that interaction of paying, he comes to tell me they have no strawberry pearls, they don't have lychee and they only have mango. One should have checked (and it is all right beside him), but they did have the strawberry jelly. That was horrible, I couldn't chew it. I had to keep spitting it out. I gave a two stars for food because the chocolate milk tea tasted nice (but probably other bubble tea places can make it just as good). Not a pleasant experience at all.

The waiter was extremely rude to us just because we changed table (we changed before we order)(?) or for whatever reason we do not understand. Burger was not good either.

I made order via mobile app. 2 drinks with “balls”. They didn’t have any of the balls we paid for on the app. They didn’t have Mango flavour so they had to give me Passion fruit. Terrible. And as a bonus, we got our two little plain drinks later than a few people who made order after us. I definitely ask for my money back. I got absolutely nothing I paid for.

Prepare to queue for over half an hour for bubble tea that's mediocre at best

Basically always extremely busy shop so there's a long queue. The wait isn't really worth it for average or underwhelming boba tea when there are so many other better boba shops nearby. If you need recommendation, see my list for boba tea under my published Google maps lists!

After a painful 20 minute wait with no queue, they were just laughing and chatting away. Such horrible service, they are usually very fast and I can see that they are busy. This time they were laughing away in the back and had to ask for my drink twice. Just no.

My brother bought me Bubble Tea as a surprise and for the first time I didn't like it. It was with regular sugar but way too sweet for me. I think it's the molasses and the flavor is way too strong. Also the drink was very watery/milky and not rich in flavour.

I recently had the most disappointing experience at this bubble tea shop in Chinatown. I've been a regular customer and always order their milk tea, but today was a complete letdown. The bubble tea they served me was unbelievably watery. It lacked the creamy and flavorful consistency that I had come to expect. When I gave my feedback to the three ladies working there, hoping they would rectify the situation, they barely seemed to care. Their response was utterly dismissive, as if they couldn't be bothered. They simply shrugged it off and told me that's just how it is. I couldn't believe their lack of customer service. Feeling frustrated and unsatisfied, I decided to pour the bubble tea straight into the trash can and walked out. This experience has left me extremely disappointed, and I can confidently say that I will never set foot in that place again. It's disheartening when a once-favorite spot falls so far from its previous standards.

it took so long to get my drink yesterday. also this store is so much more overpriced than the other stores i’ve been too. the jelly in my drink was quite stiff rather than soft which I was very surprised about. won’t be coming to this chatime again

Chaitime milk tea was pretty good.

Really good GBK. The staff are friendly and efficient. The kitchen looked really clean and organised. There’s also quite a nice vibe for a big chain fast food restaurant too. The food is the usual decent standard and it’s nice to have a vegan burger option that isn’t frozen fake meat like everywhere else seems to be doing and is actually enjoyable for a vegetarian as well.

please please please DO NOT get their matcha milk latte!! It tasted like water loaded with a terrible aftertaste, I was so disappointed because their other drinks are usually pretty decent

Meine Freundin und ich haben uns Winter Melon Latte und Winter Melon Lemon Cooler bestellt. Winter Melon Latte war nicht so lecker und hatte kaum Geschmack. Winter Melon Lemon Cooler hat schon besser geschmeckt. Einrichtung war schön.

I am way too generous with the two starsz incredibly slow, I waited more than 20mins when there weren’t many people, bizarre experience, horrible taste. Pls can you hire more people on Sat night!! You might need a more efficient way to make drinks or hire more staff. One barista is not enough

This place used to have lines but I can understand why they didn’t have customers. The service wasn’t bad but the place looked rundown. When I received my drink, the pearls were clumped up and I barely had any pearls

Waited in a queue for 15 mins because there was only one barista serving and taking orders all by himself. He was still friendly and trying his best. Amazing quality. Would recommend.

Went into Chatime around 22:00 to order Brown Sugar fresh milk however there were barely any brown sugar sauce and the tapioca pearls were 60% full. This meant that there were barely any milk. Also, the tapioca pearls were all stuck together like a one big squished ball therefore I wasn't able to drink them out. Overall really not good for a drink that costs £4.90.

Conveniently located Chatime branch in the middle of Chinatown. It has the standard selection although I have to say that, over the years, competitors have crept in and there are places that make better milk tea. That is not to say that the reader won't find something they like here. Do give it a try as the menu is varied and there is lots on offer. Beware of long queues at times. There must be a better way to serve customers faster...

There's always a cue and it is almost always busy, the reason being because it is one of the best around the area... I go there frequently. When around go there and grab a tea, I love it and recommend it.

The bubble tea is good and there is an infinite amount of options to choose from. You can create the bubble tea to your taste. However the wait in line is long... We may have waiting 30-45mins in line to place our order.

The taro milk tea was GROSS. It tasted like stale cereal. Absolutely inedible. I had to throw my £7.50 drink away. They also charge 80p extra for tapioca pearls. Service was also incredibly slow. I ordered 1 drink and there was 1 order with 4 drinks in front of me. I waited about 10 minutes in line and another 15-20 for the drink. Very, very disappointed

Burgers were very good, fries were also, but we both agreed that the milkshakes were superior. I had the salted caramel and my adult niece had the Oreo. She is an ice cream and milkshake connoisseur and the title of this review is a direct quote.

This GBK is opppsite Waterloo railway station and had tables available at 1740 on a Friday night. The Polish staff were excellent, the two burgers generously sized with good quality ingredients and accompanyjng chips, salad and San Miguel beer fine. Toilets were clean. When we left at 1840, despite rain there was a small queue. Recommended.

The shop became so busy with about 15 people. Was waiting for about 15 minutes for 1 drink with only 4 drinks infront of me. Only one guy actually making the drinks whilst another girl was on the cash desk and another simply walked up and down the Center of the kitchen area going on her phone and exclaiming to the other works «  you have tried a cherry drop ». Very average tea.

Place was amazing great atmosphere and great staff all friendly and helpful, the food was perfect would recommend this anyone and everyone will be back again one day. Sometimes when out you have a waiter or waitress who catches your eyes or you have a good connection with and here you will definitely get that.

Okay so the actual bubble tea itself was nice, I have been to other branches of Chatime so I know it would be good. The reason for the 1 star is purely because of the service. We were waiting way over around 30 minutes to get out bubble tea because they were that busy, but the thing is the staff were working so slowly. They can see that there was a HUGE queue but their pace waa awful to watch. Other bubble tea places had similar size queues but they were working at pace to serve their customers in a timely manner but these guys did not care and carried on working at snails pace. We had thought once we ordered we would get out order quick but no! People who came after us got their orders before us, I would have left if it wasn't for the fact I had already paid. Waste of my time, could have gone somewhere else got bubble tea just as good for half the wait time. Highly doubt I will come here again.

Chatime is definitely one of my favorite milktea places, special love to taro milktea.

Very slow service even when just a few people were waiting and even if 5 people were working in the store. In addition, nobody tells you at the moment of payment that you need to ask for a bag in advance, because they don't accept payments for the bag with credit card. Not recommended.

I ordered a passion-fruit cooler with coconut jelly toppings and the drink was made quickly despite the long queue of drinks. It tasted very nice indeed would definitely come back again to try out more drinks!

Good place for lunch at a central location. There were some decent deals for lunch options which is very good. The minus is that the service was a bit slow.

Waited 17 minutes for a tea since I ordered, with only 4 other orders in front of me. Friends of an employee have been served right away without having to even queue at all. I don’t mind that but at least then work quick enough so the other customers don’t have to wait almost 20 minutes after they ordered with only 4 other people in front of them. V disappointed today ..

Good Chatea milk tea with Jello. However, very slow service with order taking and only one person was making the tea. This place needs to be more organized so the line will move faster.

Very slow and inefficient service and a lot of the choices on the menu were not available. This used to be a really good store many years ago so I was disappointed to see how far it had fallen (perhaps it was a different brand before or under different management?).

Such a terrible service !! I have an very unpleasant experience, asked for a taro milk without tea, the receipt was corrected but came out disgusting, not like somewhere else cuz they might be put the powder not the real taro.( I asked them b4 I ordered if they have it or not, they said yes ). It wasn’t a long queue but they was talking, laughing, having fun with each others for 10mins till another came. Gave me wrong change and old coin ( it happened to me twice when I went there, gave me old 1 pound that no longer use, gave me smaller change and it wasn’t an accident at all !!! ) Dont ever go there if you want your money worth instead of their services. I been to several Chatime locations in different countries and this one is my fave Chatime locations, I usually drop by this Chatime first then wander Chinatown bubble tea in hand; it’s my secret to assuage my hunger before I pick a place to eat ;)

This is a pleasant, welcoming burger place that aims to provide slightly better than average food and service and, in my opinion, succeeds. The decor is nice and comfortable. The staff were friendly, helpful and efficient. The food was served fairly promptly and was of good quality. The menu doesn't offer tremendous variety but it's a case of quality rather than quantity and they do cater for both vegetarian and vegan requirements. I went to GBK with a friend at a time of night when most other places nearby looked rather noisy or too busy for their own good (i.e. there were clearly more people than the staff could really cope with). GBK seemed like a relatively peaceful oasis by comparison and I think turned out to be a very good choice. Everywhere was clean, the food was highly satisfactory and my friend and I were made to feel welcome. I don't go to many burger places but I'd go to GBK again.

Really bad. This place reminded me about Covid. I waited for 50 minutes to get my order. No idea why it is so hard to make a tea. And the place was just packed with people.

i always get different drinks when i come here and i love all of them! it can take a while sometimes but i dont mind, definitely one of my favourite boba places

I asked for the jubilee drink i was charged then after i was charged i was told the drink is not available the lady was forcing me to get a yacult soda which i did not want so i asked for tge brown sugar milk tea with tapioca so i was told i had to pay 30p pn top of my drink bearing in mind this was not my fault there was a tall slim man said card transactions have to be over £5 so i have to give cash or spend 5 pound more i didnt have cash and a huge que was built up i was embarrased no appology SUPER POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE I TRAVELLED ONE HOUR TO COME HERE i was told my refund will come in yhe bank in 5-15 days and i said i did not even tap my card and he said it doesnt matter honestly appalled

Best Bubble Tea in Chinatown. Lots of choice and the staff are friendly and well informed about their options.

Massively busy at 1 pm today but the queue was moving at a decent pace. The staff was smiley. You get more boba /tapioca pearls here than in most other bubble tea places. There were plenty of flavours to choose from and the “slight” sweetness was just perfect. Mango fruit tea was delicious but I won’t be getting taro milk tea again.

Order Oolong tea, but the tea tastes just like water...

Wish you could get brown sugar pearls with fresh tea with out ice or change ice level. I don't like ice in my bubble tea because it causes the pearls to harden and that is not how pearls are supposed to be. It's suppose to be chew which it was not because of the ice. Please change this. Other than that, drink and service was good.

We popped in after a visit to the London Eye. Food delicious, staff very busy but efficient, although the odd smile wouldn’t have gone amiss! One of our party gluten free and they dealt with this very efficiently. Would recommend. 👍🏻

Cha time is top 3 in terms of fave bubble tea places - it was the first place I got bubble tea and it holds a special place in my heart. I always got the chocolate milk tea with tapioca or the taro with tapioca(the taro is my personal fave and recommend), and I tried my first milk tea with brown sugar pearls here. I don't think I've been disappointed after going here - the portions are a good size and the decor there is cute too. It's always got at least a few people there which always suggests that it's a good place :)

Had a great lunch, a brilliant visit we had 3 double burgers with bacon , ice cream and 12 donuts !!! All great !!! as was the fantastic service from the nice young man who made our visit so special and remembered us from our...

… and satay sauce to die for. Here on a Saturday night and was just what we needed after a show. Comfort food, freshly cooked and tasty. Staff were lovely and the price was very reasonable. A great wee find near to our hotel.

If I’m in Chinatown then chatime is where I usually go to get my bubble tea. It’s not my favourite spot but it’s decent enough to satisfy my craving - my drink choice anywhere is always lychee black tea with pearls, no ice, regular sugar

Visited yesterday with my mum and daughters and the service was a complete let down. They management was serving presumably whilst waiting for service staff to start shifts or finish breaks they stood around talking had absolute no interest in providing any kind of polite...

Midweek lunch with my husband. Have been here before as disabled friendly. Service always excellent, friendly and quick. Burgers cooked to perfection medium rare and lovely sweet potatoes fries. Great value, 2 x burgers chips, 2 x desserts & 3 ciders only £47. Great location...

Horrible bubble tea with sticky and over boiled tapioca. I am a big fan of Chatime brand worldwide. Yesterday (22/2/2022) went first time in to the branch In Chinatown (London). Slow service first of all. Me and my boyfriend were completely ignored or discriminated with no eye contact and chance to be served. The waiter forgot to give us a ticket with waiting order number of the order so i had to ask myself. They put ice into the drink but I asked without!! Also the main and the worst part is the final product. The overboiled sticked and wrongly boiled tapioca were impossible to suck whatsoever! Through that paper straw was impossible to drink the tea and disgusting tapioca and the milk tea looked like the milk/cream was off and had weird bits inside. Never coming back and now having doubts about the whole chatime brand unfortunately which was my favourite
