As usual great food ...group of 17 of us but the service was excellent attention to detail will be definitely visiting again

Its got a proper Italian aroma when you walk in and a lovely atmosphere. Really very nice food and pleasant people.

Lovely restaurant, nice food and reasonable price just don't ask if you can separate the bill in any way, apoarently it is too complicated!! Disappointing as it spoilt things at the end of the evening.

Been a couple of times, always booked ahead, we've had a lovely warm welcome both times. The food is quality, cooked to order & delicious. Highly recommended, lovely atmosphere & great for dining with friends or as a couple.

We had fabulous pasta, we were time constrained and said so on entry, service was swift not rushed, just what we needed, perfect.

We went to this restaurant with some friends and were not disappointed at all ! The staff is very kind and the environment is very cosy, we felt at home. I had lasagna, it was very tasty and the portion was very generous ! I could not recommand enough this restaurant ! We had a very good time !

Visiting Rotherham from London, I had low expectations of dining out in general. I've eaten my words because most of the food I ate in Yorkshire was far better quality and price than almost anywhere I've been in the Big Smoke. Anyone who knows me also knows I'm not one for hyperbole, so I hardly ever give out 0 or 1 stars, or 5. Most places are 3 stars because 3 is average - neither terrible nor amazing. But at Goodfellas I found a Sicilian gem where the food absolutely is a 5 - it's probably some of the best Italian food I've ever eaten. Even "The Chronic Complainer of Yorkshire" (aka my mother) didn't have a bad word to say about it. And this is from a woman who asked for a knife and fork in McDonald's. Thoroughly recommended.

Lovely staff, great food. Would I go again definitely. A group turned up who hadn't acknowledged their booking confirmation so were very politely declined by staff that their table had been reallocated. The staff treated it with professionalism only to be treated with rudeness by the offending party. True hospitality by all staff at goodfellas.

The food and service were very good. Portions are more than big enough, so big in fact it looked like I hadn’t touched my pasta dish.

Lovely traditional Italian, great staff and the garlic bread is just wow!! Took my.parents out for tea and used trip advisor to find this restaurant.

Lovely frendlely atmosphere very good service didn't have to wait long for food for a party of 11 people for my nephews 30th the choice on menus was excellent but the taste of the main dishes lacked authentic Italian taste as my parents both are Italian just needed the ingredients of Italian spices to give that extra kick ..

We were visiting family nearby and they took us to their favourite Italian and it’s plain to see why. Great rustic feel about it. Staff we unbelievably welcoming and friendly. Great menu and when the food arrived it was sublime. Great value as well. Would definitely return and definitely recommend.

Heard alot about this place went and tried it on Valentine's night not To be disappointed the food was magnifico it is going to be a regular place to dine the staff excellenty not pushy very pleasant made you very welcome ,price !!!! I would say you get what you pay for great food

Went for a family birthday meal so 14 of us. We had pre-ordered. The food was freshly cooked and delicious. The staff were very attentive and friendly and provided excellent service. We had a really lovely evening.

Really good family owned Italian restaurant where everything is freshly cooked. Partners families family tradition for us to go every Christmas eve.

Tried goodfellas last night due to a friend recommending it to us and it was well worth the visit. My wife and I are vegetarian but that didn’t mean we were limited in options. The food was really nice as was the atmosphere and staff, all friendly, welcoming and polite. We will 100% be back (when we can get a sitter again) as we enjoyed it that much. As ever, a warm welcome, our usual table (!) and beautifully cooked and tasty food. I love the mushroom ham garlic and cheese starter but it is huge and makes eating a pizza difficult ! In the past we have had starters and shared a pizza. This time my wife had a prawn based pasta off the specials board and we both tried a beautiful chicken breast in the most delicious sauce with ample vegetables. Couldn’t manage a dessert this time, but the choice is very tempting ! If you haven’t tried Goodfellas, you are missing out !

Last minute booking, greeted by fantastic staff who always make you feel welcome. Great menu choices and great recommendations and a spect list. Food cooked fresh served by great staff. Served hot and tasty and extremely good food. Good prices definitely worth the visit.

Two stars for the friendly service but the Calzone was really poor. Undercooked dough containing a few mushrooms and a slice of ham. It was bad and we will not be returning

Goodfellas is our favourite restaurant. The staff are very welcoming. The food is delicious. We can highly recommend this place for couples and family’s.

A small (seemingly family owned) restaurant that serves great food in good time! The staff were attentive but not pushy or overbearing. Everything was reasonably priced and as mentioned, great food! If I lived closer, I would be here every few weeks. Thanks team.

Visiting relations in the area, they found this restaurant online. We all really enjoyed the meal and thought it good value. The service was prompt, the staff friendly. For a Tuesday evening it was very busy so wise to book. My relatives who only just moved to the area, intend to return soon.

Lovely visit to this Italian restaurant. Made even better for me as it was a nostalgic visit to my childhood home, and infact, was where I was born. Attentive staff. Great food. Couldn't manage a pudding and they sounded so good.

Its been a while since i have written a review on trip advisor due to having not been out for so many months.I can honestly say that this was one of the best meals out I have ever had. Service was excellent and so was the food, my wife and i had 3 courses and everything we ordered was delicious.We are already looking forward to our next visit.

First time we've eaten here. Went for our wedding anniversary. Cosy interior but doesn't look particularly appealing from the outside. Staff were very friendly, helpful and attentive. The food was delicious and well presented. Two specials on offer for starters, main course and dessert. Disappointingly, they had run out of the goat's cheese starter. It would have been nice to have had the choice of tiramisu for dessert. Lovely evening and we will visit again.

I visited with a party of six last night and cannot fault the restaurant in any way. The venue is small and intimate with a lovely atmosphere and the weight staff very attentive and friendly. All six of us had different starters and meals and very much enjoyed the food. The specials in particular were wonderful. The portions are good and the prices very reasonable considering the good quality. But be aware the calzone is delicious but is very large.

We have had a few meals here for various occasions and it has always been lovely. The last visit was just before lock down, I visited with my son for a mother and son date night, we enjoyed it so much it became my son’s ultimate favourite restaurant. Tonight we visited as a family of 4, they were not planning on using the upstairs but were so accommodating when my son (10) asked if we could sit upstairs at his ‘favourite table’Food was amazing as always and the service was perfect.This was our first proper meal out in over a year and we thoroughly enjoyed every minute.Can’t wait to come back. I have never been to this restaurant previously and only chose this by the off chance. I am so glad I did as my wife and I met up with the daughter and boyfriend as not seen them in over 18 months. The service is fantastic and the food out of this world. I can't wait to get up north again and book this place. Thanks guys for making our meal special.
