Good Taste Bistro in Conwy

I use this cafe every time I'm in town, for a coffee or a light lunch. Good service, reasonable prices.

Good coffee/Hot chocolate.Staff with a smile 😊😊.

The little man there likes to lie to people sure he is the manager for the place also but ye he's very rude

I was really impressed. It was the first time I had been there. Very welcoming and pleasant staff, clean and tidy, the food was great, lots of choice, fresh, tasty and hot and sooooo reasonably priced. Huge cups of coffee. My mum had Welsh rarebit and added bacon. It was only about £16 total for 2 of us. Pic of the items that I selected for my veggie breakfast.

Discovered this cafe by chance while on holiday in the area, it was so good we visited twice for lunch during our holiday, the quality of the food was excellent & the staff very polite & friendly, nothing was too much trouble & we plan to visit again in the future.

On holiday - visited Colwyn, popped in for lunch - good food, good value for money.

Food was good, came quickly and was good value.

We had lunch on a rainy Tuesday, jacket potatoes and coffee, and were delighted with the hearty food served in generous portions. Excellent variety of choices on the menu, all good value. Warm decor and prompt friendly service- what's not to love? Head's up- it's cash only.

Go here every week, sometimes more than once. Never had a bad meal, all the staff are amazing so is the food. The breakfasts are off-the-chart superb. Don't think about it, just go!

I was so put off, by the male staff members sitting at the outside tables, smoking, near the front door, I couldn't eat my meal, it was disgusting, and there was no time after finishing their cigs, to wash their hands before taking the orders, it makes you wonder about the food preperation

Food choice of basic menu for a cafe. Went in just after 2.30pm. The first 2 orders we asked for were not available as they had sold out. The waitress said that they had been busy. Scruffy. Was busy when we first went but when customers left it didn't anymore.

We wanted somewhere to eat on our way home from a trip to Wales. It is cheap and cheerful place where you get what you pay for. It was very good value for money, fast delivery of food and friendly staff. The negatives where the water in the tea tastes metallic and its very basic. But for what we paid we had no complaints.

First visit and won't be the last. Clean environment. Friendly and helpful staff, very welcoming. Great food and excellent price. It is clear they have regular customers and that is always a good sign.

Visited as a group of 6 as our travelodge didn't do breakfast. The staff were do helpful and friendly. Very reasonably priced cooked breakfasts with lots of different options and drinks and toast included. Would recommend.

On our second time as customers we were delighted with the wonderful food and the the pleasant and welcoming by the true gentleman who appeared in charge or the owner and the ladies who server us always with a friendly smile. We felt well served and appreciated as a customer. Everything about the excellent food and service was a true pleasure. We will be regular customers and ask that all locals give it a try and support the business. We are a party of seven and all enjoyed the food and the affordable prices. Well done to you all at the Good Food Bistro in the pedestrian area to the back of the Bay View Shopping Mall in Colwyn Bay.

Loved the choice of breakfast and the build your own choice. Homemade bubble and squeak and " buy one bacon get one on the House too. When we went in staff were busy cleaning the kitchen and the owner shows you to a table and is very professional and polite. Food cane out very quickly and was hot. Also you can have any meal on the menu any time of the day so if you fancy liver and mash at 9am you can have it which is fantastic 5 out of 5 star highly recommended

I’ve only ever had a brekfast from here but to be fair it’s the best one locally, always welcomed with a smile, the lady’s all work hard. If they changed the sausage it would be the best breki in the Conwy county.

Great cafe, the guy who took our order we think was the owner was very welcoming and smiled and a gentleman. The breakfast filled me up and not too much like some cafe's pile on the food. We enjoyed our visit that we went back the next day.The staff were very friendly and recommend to anyone to visit.

My 4yr old grandson & i had a lovely lamb dinner here today followed by ice cream not expensive at all & generous portions. Staff very helpful & friendly served within minutes & tasted delicious & free lollipops after. 🍭 😊 👌 do try it out.

My favourite place for a good well cooked breakfast full English my price range is for 2 people and all the staff are friendly and kind to us and are kids definitely the best full English breakfast in Colwyn Bay but they do have a menu and there are many things on it if you don't fancy a breakfast but all in all I love this place

Friendly, attentive staff serving delicious food at resonable prices. Located a few minutes walk from Colwyn Bay train station makes it the pefect place to have a drink, snack or meal before or after a long journey. Found the staff here really friendly. There were 7 of us who mostly ordered a variety of stuff and all the meals came out together which is always good. Really lovely relaxed place. Would go again if I'm ever in the area.

This is such a gem in Colwyn Bay. Excellent breakfast and wrap and chips. Food came fast and the staff were absolutely lovely. Manager kept giving us celebrations chocolates when we were leaving. Would definitely recommend.

We passed through looking for a takeaway to take to the beach before heading back to Nottingham. Well when we got to the beach we were amazed at how beautifully presented a panni was, it came with a fresh mixed salad and homemade coleslaw all lovingly placed in the box and foil for under the panni. The lovely and friendly lady who had served us had filled the bag with cutlery, napkins and sauces. Great service, great food so well done all and if we ever pass that way again we will pop back.

I've just had two full breakfasts delivered within half hour of ordering everything fresh and hot brilliant service, efficient and polite couldn't fault it.

Highly recommend, food was hot and really tasty. Delivery was quick, really good value for money! 9 items with a hot drink and toast you can’t go wrong.
