Second time item missing of order/ribs very well done/and taste was lost in meal

What can I say.. FOOD WAS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING, one of the best Chinese in the area, tried it for the first time and it got me, I would recommend Crispy Shredded Chicken and Salt and Chilli Chicken, it was beautiful the sauce and the taste was just right!! Ordered quite a lot but didnt expect it to be rather cheap for the 4 of us only costed 36 pounds and we were all hungry people, the staff was nice and friendly when they introduced and explained some of the dishes, the place is tidy and clean love the green plants in the shop! WILL DEFINITELY go back and order more!

Had a beautiful meal tonight, definitely recommend! Spent 35 pound just have to say WOW, got a free salt and chill Wings, Crispy Shredded beef was amazing the sauce and everything was just right, salt and chill chips are also great, could of not asked anything more, staff were nice over the phone, answered my questions patiently. RECOMMEND!!

We ordered meals tonight spent £34 most of it went in the bin ordered crispy shredded beef in sauce it was horrible couldn't even eat any of it will never order from here again I did complain to the shop no help there so my advice spend your hard earned money where the food and customer service is better can't even put one star

Had delivery last night. Excellent and plentiful. Very quick service, delivered with a smile in under 20mins. Food still hot. Prices have increased substantially, but, what do you expect? Everything has! Thoroughly recommended.

Highly recommended , been very impressed with the meals we’ve had from here and can’t fault them ,reasonably priced ,very large portions and nice tasting. we have tried a couple of chinese takeaways and this is the best one so far. We can’t comment on delivery service because always collect has its 1 min drive away.

Food ok but they don't listen ordered prawn crackers on two occasions and a new menu but got neither ,will not use again ,will try somewhere else where they want our business and not blazea ,

Worst overpriced, low quality meal, ive seen in a long time - over £16 for combo starter and special fried rice, The combo was greasy, bland and tiny wings, mainly spring rolls. Special was more than 90% rice and barely any varied meat. cheap polystyrene boxes and not usual plastic containers. spent a more intense time in the bathroom after it, than danny glover in lethal weapon 2. appalling how these places get away with such an extremely low standard for the prices they charge.. will not visit again, money wasted as meal was binned and not even fit for the gulls. a disgrace

Food is good but the wait time not great. You pre order on the phone x2 meals and get told 10-15mins. I turn up to collect the food and had to sit and wait another 30mins. Also cash only

Great food and excellent service. Just a short car journey from Cala Gran caravan park. Had the special Szechuan and my wife had a beef curry and fried rice and the portions are huge and we couldn't each it all. Would highly recommend.

The most disgusting Chinese meal we have ever had! We ordered the special plater for sharing and the only thing I can say is that the salt and pepper wings were the only tasty ingredients in it, we also ordered the crispy chicken with sweet and sour sauce with fried rice, The fried rice was so conjealed that it was just a clumpy mess, crispy chicken was so over cooked you couldn't bite into it! I would certainly avoid this place unless you are truly starving and you have no teeth!

We are staying at the caravan park at fleetwood.. We went here tonight ,for a carry out . The food was ready very quickly, staff were friendly and the premises were clean ,with a 5 star food hygiene certificate. It's only a few minutes away in the car, easy to find with accessible parking outside. The pricing is competitive and they give free prawn crackers, which is always a bonus. Portions are large and food was excellent 👌. I had the shredded Peking chicken 🐔 and ate the lot . Beautiful food 😋 Thank you.

My wife and I had our meals delivered this evening, I had a Beef Curry and Fried Rice and my wife had a Special Fried Rice.Firstly they quoted me 30-40 minutes for delivery and it was delivered in 25 minutes so well impressed with that.My Beef Curry I found was very good indeed, plenty of beef, lovely curry sauce and overall a good sized portion. My wife`s Special Fried Rice I`m afraid left a lot to be desired, although a decent sized portion it was more than lacking in it`s contents. There was literally plenty of rice and I mean plenty, quite a lot of chicken, maybe 10-12 pieces, she found only three small pieces of pork, `ONE` piece of beef and just `TWO` King prawns and a fried egg, no small prawns, no onions, no peas............that was it. Overall she said it was the worst Special Fried Rice she`s ever had.......and she`s certainly had a few.Maybe they had a bad day or a different chef than usual, I must emphasize that my Curry was good so I can`t criticize that at all but the Special Fried Rice my wife had was to her a real dissapointment.

Had our first Chinese from here tonight. Absolutely amazing. Fantastic value. Arrived hot Highly recommended

Excellent all the food was spot on,I must admit im a big fan of OK diner but this was really really good one minor quibble was the amount of hoi sin sauce but im pretty sure they would increase the amount if asked nicely,we are very lucky with takeaways in this area they are all A+. Cant recommend it enough.

The food takeaway is excellent and staff very friendly, cannot complain about anything till I order the same food, I was told the price on the phone but nothing mentioned about price increase and thought nothing of it till it arrived, new menu, new term over 25 pound for spicy chicken wing , was only 20 pound, delivery charge, cash only payment all meal price increase, this is not the right time for this!!Many people can only afford 1 treat a week and this is not the way very disappointed

Best Chinese takeaway there is and the only place we go.. Top food, service and good value for money

Best Chinese in the area by far

Just had our Saturday takeaway and will not be recommending golden wok have been going for a long time but is slipping down in my ratings. Tonight takeaway was awful stale crackers and sauce on the sweet and sour so thin and tasteless need to find somewhere else

Haven't been here for a while and the meal was awful. Threw most of it away and won't be going back.

I have used Golden Wok for over 10years and always been happy. Tonight I was so disappointed, I ordered salt and pepper chicken, boiled rice and curry sauce, it arrived after about 45minutes. I opened the meal to find prawns and not chicken!I phoned up immediately to be told they will recook my meal but will I be able to collect as they are short of drivers. I said no as I was home alone with two children asleep upstairs. They agreed to deliver. It arrived after 20minutes, they only sent the salt and pepper chicken, so I ended up with cold rice and curry sauce! I just ate it as I was fed up by now, but they need to think in future and recook the whole meal. I will be avoiding for a while!

Cheap and cheerful. Spring rolls belong in the bin! Egg fried rice was terrible! Lemon chicken dry. Vermicelli was ok as was the boiled rice. Chicken and broccoli was dry. Won’t be returning and I definitely o anyone to try this place.

Go here quite often. Always enjoy, sometimes more in the past than recently! the rice has been rubbery. Would definitely recommend the Jill yuen ribs and Yung chow rice with King prawns.

Simply the best chinese takeaway in Thornton-Cleveleys. Beautiful food and quick and efficient delivery. Highly recomnended.

My family have ordered from here every time we've visited thornton over the last 30 years. It's always been of a good standard and full of flavour, however tonight I'm mortified at how bad it has become! I order two chow meins, spring rolls and a sweet and sour sauce and I can honestly say it's the worst Chinese I've ever had! The chicken looks like it's come out of a packet, the chow mein has no flavour whatsoever (not even a pinch of salt and pepper!) and the sweet and sour sauce looked like coloured water. I'm sorry to write such a bad review but honestly the food was truly that bad. Definately will not be ordering from here ever again!

my mother used to live not far from this takeaway so had it sometimes when we were all visiting, it used to be great ! chicken was always fresh and whatever the group opted for we were all satisfied, we live in fleetwood not far so as it used to be so good we would either pick it up or get it delivered. the time before this last visit it wasn't up to scratch at all , but my husband really likes this takeaway and asked me to give it another go, well it was worse than last time. we ordered over the phone and l was quite surprised that we got through on the first call, we were told 40 mins, great no problem .. exactly 20 mins later a knock at my door food had arrived ... now baring in mind it takes a good 10 mins to get from thornton to fleetwood so l didn't hold out much hope... my chicken satay was so chewy l had to spit my chicken out... I've never eaten chicken that was so tough in all my life, my egg fried rice was clumped together that the whole tray fell out onto my plate and it was red hot like it had been microwaved.... to be honest I'm sick of takeaways not taking pride in there food...

We go here almost every week and have never had reason to complain or had a bad meal. The menu is a good range. Unusually for most restaurants it gives food allergens within each meal which is useful. The staff are always friendly and nice, and the price is reasonable. There are a few good Chinese takeaways in the area but this is now our favourite ... oh, and I almost forgot, the food hygiene rating is five stars which is good to know.

Good value, my go to place for a Chinese. Always enjoyed the extras based on spend when ordering with friends.

If you ever fancy a Chinese meal this is the place to go, the chef cook's really nice food and the staff are really friendly, the most important thing to me is that the kitchen is spotless and checked out by the council who have given them the top marks a 5/5. We used the Golden wok for the first time after months of saying we should try it. All in we were impressed. The food was good quality (ordered crispy beef, sweet sour chicken and a pawn dish. Pawn toast and veggi spring rolls on the side). The free chicken wings was a nice touch. Long and short of it is we will be back.

Excellent - would recommend this place to anyone - tasty- not greasy - just brilliant :) flavour great, quantity enough, friendly staff - lovely x
