Golden Ricksaw in Cardiff

There was literally one piece of chicken in my wife's chicken chow mein. The special chow mein and special fried rice were underseasoned and tasteless. The fried rice was also very dry. All in all, very disappointing.

A small delay with initial stated delivery time.

Not used before. Food was good, and gold star to delivery driver. Polite and came up two flights of stairs to deliver. Rare to get a good one these days. A great experience and will use again.

I try to be measured in my reviews, but this takeaway was disgusting and went directly in the bin. Thankfully we got a significant refund from Just Eat.

First time ordering. Food was a few mins late, not a problem for me as food was delicious and hot. Delivery girl apologised, was very polite and friendly. Ordered the sharing box and it was huge, came in a large pizza box with 2 large sauces. Really happy. Will definitely order again.

Ordered chicken curry but what looked like chicken is a actually potatoe..

Great food, really tasty, piping hot and great delivery person and was a perfect hand off.

I have never received sweet and sour delivered already in the sauce previously. They have always been packed separately previously from other establishments. Therefore, less quantity and batter soggy.

Best Chinese by far, always order from these, excellent 👌 👏 🙌

Rice was soggy chips uncooked and as it was so late when rang was informed it had left the takeaway 30 mins ago it was luke warm will never go there again

No taste to the chicken chow mien we had , the spring roll was cold & looked like a small batter fish piece , was full of air & just battered in batter . Not a spring roll at all? Couldn’t eat it :(

Very nice meal, could have been a bit warmer but in view of the current freezing weather it's to be expected. Really friendly delivery girl.

Awful food. Never before have I had a tasteless curry. It was grey in colour with 5 pieces of beef and several whole small potatoes with oil floating on top. The fried rice was very greasy. The seaweed rolls were awful too with bits of fried roll here and there but hardly a roll. Food so poor it went in the bin and I ordered from somewhere else.

The food was great but unfortunately the sweet and sour sauce spoilt it. It tasted more like tomato and oxo, very strange taste. Because of this I will not order again from here, which is unfortunate as the rest of the food was spot on and very tasty. I guess if not having sweet and sour then it’s delicious.

IF MY CHOW MEIN AINT FROM GOLDEN RICKSHAW I DONT WANT IT. The food always bangs, the chicken the beef the spring rolls you can’t go wrong in golden rickshaw because it always tastes nice. The owner super friendly and already knows who ordered what without asking questions. Anyone that rated this place below six stars needs help.
