Had a halloumi wrap with all the salad and really enjoyed it. Would go again if needing somewhere to stop for lunch again.

Price on menu was for chicken kebab 11.45 plus coca-cola 1 £ something and then service charge me 16.10 . Enjoy with extra tip , next time will be nice to ask for that !

Eat before you get to Sunbury. Tea - poor quality used Toast - only one slice provided Bacon - salty poor quality Eggs - poor quality and cold Sausage - pre cooked warm and tasteless Atmosphere - none The whole menu is very overpriced. If you can you would benefit by going elsewhere. They have a sign that indicates they do not want to listen to complaints.

Post a run, opted for breakfast as this family run place as opposed to having it at the Premier Inn opposite, where I had stayed for the night. As a solo patron, the service was very quick. A very sumptuous Mediterranean breakfast with great tasting coffee. Loved the friendliness of entire staff.

Best place within miles for food . Staff are so friendly and food is cooked fresh and is top quality. So much better than any other golden grill .

Always clean, friendly staff and good service. A nice buzz about the place. Every time I go there in the morning maybe on average three times a week I will see the same regulars who know that there isn’t any better around. 👌

my order was delivered incomplete and when i called they gave me abuse. No one there spoke English AT ALL. He was shouting and his English was so bad it was impossible to understand. The staff here are clearly dishonest and I can see from other reviews it's a not a one off. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

We stumbled across this place by accident and so please we did. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The food was brilliant. So good in fact that we decided to ditch the hotel breakfast the next day and return to this place! I would highly recommend

I went into Golden Grill today and gave a tenner to the large man for a quarter pounder and chips... which is 5.30 and 2.40, 7.70 in total. I said to the man that he didn't give me any change at all... I had to demand it, it nearly escalated before another staff member got involved. She told him to open the till and give me my change back. Well, in the heat of the moment I actually didn't get my full change back as I did the math wrong in my head (that parts on me). But i did show him on the calculater the total cost during our interaction which was correct. He was reluctant on giving me anything as kept saying he already gave me the money check your pockets... as if I couldn't recall him handing me the moeny. The man clearly isn't qualified for the job, can't concerntrate, or did this deliberately. I'm not really sure. The male cashier had is headphones in and clearly wasn't paying attention anyways. Because of this i won't be going back in here ever again. Shepperton Golden grill is way freindlier too.

The prices have continuously gone up, over the past few months and the portion sizes considerably smaller. Gone from good value to terrible. The food is still good, but maybe now considered a snack not a meal.

highly reccomended. we come here for breakfast, staying at a nearby hotel. breakfast was hot, tasty and served by very polite and friendly man. lots of choice and variety. will be visiting again

I've used the Golden Grill a couple of times now, when I've been staying at the nearby Travelodge. If you want a reasonably priced traditional cafe style meal it's great. Prompt and friendly service, freshly cooked food and it's open late into the evening. Nice and clean and a toilet for customers. There is free parking right outside, although this is quite busy during shop trading hours. I'll certainly be back.

Fantastic food and service as staying at Premier Inn and needed food served food hot! 5 of us visited whilst on business and had a great meal with Efes also served. Give these guys a go and you will not be disappointed !

Usually come here as the breakfasts are so good but today we arrived there at 8am before work for breakfast and they weren’t open/ answering the phone despite online stating they open at 8am. Dissappointing when you drive especially to have breakfast before starting work...

Very friendly, breakfast perfect freshly cooked and very hot. Well priced, good atmosphere and nothing too much trouble if you make changes to menu.

Me and my husband ordered a small lamb doner each well..... pitta bread was dry just fell apart and tasted stale... meat was dry and cold and the portion size was like a kids portion and for the price expected better will not be returning!

The portions are very large, so be careful. I had a mix kebab and chips and it would have fed a small village. Delicious, especially the chicken. Reasonable price for sitting in.

Popped in after an afternoon out in London on the way home. The kebab was awful. One mouth full and straight in the bin. It just looked and tasted like burnt left overs. Never again.

Not great since it reopened, chicken shish was tasteless and quite small, pitta was hard, much better kebab houses around.

Decided to try out this place and so glad we did. On the menu there isa great selection of kebabs, burgers, shakes, smoothies and salad. They also do a selection of breakfasts some all day. I was really impressed by the cleanliness of the cafe and decided to eat in. The staff were so friendly and welcoming and made us feel right at home. We ordered the lamb and chicken sish kebabs in a wrap, one of the best we have eaten. Really good portion size, wont go hungry eating here or taking out. We will definitely be going back.

Lunch cost a bit of £10, good portion size but the foods has little taste; I had a mix of lamb and chicken shish with chips and salad plus a soft drink can, both the lamb and chicken lacked flavour.

Went in off the cuff for a mixed grill. Very accommodating management and excellent service. Extremely clean restaurant and kitchen areas and polite staff. Also the food was very tasty which always helps.

Being coming here for years I often enjoy a breakfast or kebab the owner ibby doesnt give as much time here as he used to Im always satisfied with the food it's good value I think the staff can sometimes be unfriendly not really what you would like especially as a regular they seen me before many times I've seen them not even a hello to me it's the only thing needed to complete the refurbishment

Come in here most days at varying times and staff always very helpful and friendly. Staff remember our orders and endeavour to serve as quickly as possible.

The staff's attitude is the worst i ever seen. They were very rude and seemed to be very urgent. They are making Kabab Sandwiches not airplane engines :) The food tasted awful and didn't't have enough meet. You better get together people.

Golden grill is located at Sunbury Cross parade of shops with parking and is a cafe where you can get a good coffee. There also have a kebab menu of which I intend to try soon. Place was very clean.

Clean, plenty of seats, décor has a late-80’s early-90’s chip shop-feel, ok food although over-priced; they have done well combing the two menus (café and kebab shop), shame the food is not nicer.

Staff are always lovely and friendly.Decent cost always at a good quality. Kabab meat could be cooked a bit longer but that’s a personal preference.

there are seperate "greasy spoon" and kebab menus. as a vegetarian I cannot rate the kebabs but the offerings on the cafe menu are reasonably priced and the service is good.

Golden Grill in Sunbury is great! The staff are amazing and the manager is very friendly and welcoming (as well as the staff too). Good choice of menu, lots of choices. It is always clean and tidy. There is never any mess anywhere. Defiantly recommend this place.

Was staying across the road in the premier inn, I never eat in the hotels I stay in as all the menus are all the same, went here and had a mixed kebab of lamb shish and donned meat, it was absolutely gorgeous and great value, one of the best kebabs I've ever had

The Golden Grill has been a permanent fixture of Sunbury Cross for years and has always served good quality kebabs for a reasonable price.The menu contains the usual favourites of any kebab restaurant and the staff are all very friendly and accommodating.

I've not been here in a few years but I must say I still enjoyed it. They're family friendly with good good & good prices.

This is my second visit to the Golden Grill and will very most defiantly be my last. I popped in here on the way home from work one night and picked up a small Donner with veg etc. Got it home and it was disgusting. Meat was hard and greasy and the veg was old and limp. Avoid at all costs.

Firstly, on a positive note and as Kebab shops go, this one is normally average. It’s a local shop, I have been here several times over the years.However, based on my recent visit if I could give the most recent, and what will be last experience there 0 stars I would do. We came in here for what was supposed to be a quick last minute family meal as we were late getting home with nothing much indoors. We sat down and ordered for us all and waited 10-15 minutes. During this time my partner had started to feel ill and needed to get home quickly so she asked if we could change our order to a take away, they were fine with this, so she and the kids went and waited in the car. I sat directly in front of the counter, in obvious view of the numerous staff who were having a great time laughing and flirting with the waitress. Around another 15 minutes passed, I have now been chased up by my partner from the car a couple of times, also other people have been in, ordered and served while I am still sat there waiting, so went to the counter to check where the food was. “It has been a long time hasn’t it?” said one of them looking sheepishly at the other. I initially walked back to the bench, but realised I couldn’t see what I had ordered on the grill at all, so came back and asked if it was being cooked, and it was then obvious that they had totally forgot to cook any of our food at all. So went back home absolutely fuming with the hungry kids and annoyed, sick wife for a rushed and very late egg and chips dinner. In my opinion, this is inexcusable at the best of times, but this was midweek and they weren’t even busy.Last time I EVER go there.

Popped in during a stopover at the Travelodge just over the road. Excellent chicken kebab, fresh, tasty and good sized portion. Garlic and chilli sauce on the side plus plenty of fresh salad. I left feeling full and healthy. Another Bonanza!

One weekend every year we eat here and wouldn't go anywhere else! The food is excellent, freshly cooked, great portions and fantastic value for money. From the breakfast to a kebab at 21:30. The staff are very friendly. Just glad it's nowhere near were I live or I'd be huge!

I'd keep this short, this 'place' is disgusting. As soon as my partner and I entered this place, one of the staff, the one grilling the kebab, Sleeve tattoo on his left arm, dark hair, made a loud 'Bruce Lee' sound, squinted his eyes, stared right at us and started laughing along with the other staff. May sound amusing if you read it, but I do not expect to be treated in this manner when I am about to spend money on overvalued, terrible food.In addition to this, we asked if you do 'meal sets', they said no, but when we got home, we found a leaflet that says that they do. I am quite shock on the reviews for this place, 4-5 stars? Like seriously, they must be quite selective on who they give their best customer service to.Never entering this place again.

Went here for breakfast, where it was cheap, great food and very friendly staff. I would highly recommend it. Service was quick, food was tasty and you got plenty for the very reasonable price. The staff were really friendly and made you feel welcome.

This was my first visit to The Golden Grill, as I was looking for lunch with a friend. We entered & were greeted by a staff member who asked if we wanted a takeaway or to eat in. When we said we wanted to eat in, we were welcomed & told to sit down wherever we wanted to.The menu was very comprehensive & prices very reasonable. Service is decent & the food very good. I opted for a jacket potato (no butter), spanish omelette & baked beans. My friend ordered a ham & onion omelette, jacket potato (no butter) & baked beans. We both had a Diet Coke. Although we waited a little while, the food arrived freshly cooked & well presented.Neither of us could fault the food or the service, & value for money it far outstrips many other establishments in the area. We will certainly return on a more regular basis.I'm sorry to see negative reviews, as we did not experience anything other than polite service & great food.

Been here a few times now , mostly going for the Doner Kebab (which is really nice and filling ). Sevice is reasonable and friendly , the restaurant us clean and tidy and the food is very affordable. What mire does one want ?

The Golden Grill is excellent value for money. I have been coming here for a couple of years and you get a generous portion, friendly service and a smile.

The bad review is utter rubbish, I have been here numerous times with my 3 year old nephew they always greet him which he loves as makes him feel like a grown up and they alway are willing to help and change your order if needed good is great always clean and staff are always friendly food is never long in coming and the milkshakes are as my nephew puts it yummy yummy

I've been coming to the golden grill for years now and I've never had a problem with the staff or the food nd I've had all the burgers kebabs breakfast and dinners they never dissapoint to give you a good quality meal here what ever you decide to choose from the menu. The staff are always polite and they take any requests or changes to your meals without a problem. To the previous review that I've seen here that's clearly a lie because they have all the prices stated on both the food and drinks menus provided and again the staff have always been very welcoming polite and helpful to all customers that come through the door and leave. I would highly recommend this place to everyone.

Used this place only 2 times for take away. The customer service is utter rubbish, no please or thank you's. They don't even tell you how much the bill is, just hold out a hand for the money. It's like they don't even want you there, very unfriendly indeed. The food is ok. Customer service is everything and without good service your business is nothing. Hope they read this and take note.
