1 of the worst Chineses I've had!!!!. not that it was horrible but everything was tastless, the crispy shredded beef wasn't crispy (more like a goo!!!!! chips cold. for the money the portions were terrible and food not up to scratch. I definitely won't be ripped off by these again!!!!!

Usually arrives on time or early but today was 20+ minutes late and chips were not very warm at all. Other than that the food was well cooked.

The worst takeaway I have ever ordered. The food was awful and all courses went in the bin. Rang the takeaway, no remorse or any discussion about a refund, just told to report it to just eat. Will never give this takeaway another order. Times are hard for all and to think I chucked £33 in the bin is a total insult. Anyone know how I can report this to Just Eat ?

Food was cold, manged to reheat some of it chips were chucked away as couldn't heat them again, couldn't reheat rice as high risk food. Ended up having to do toast instead 😕

this is our usual Chinese takeaway and for the first time the food tasted strange as if it wasn't cooked properly and the delivery driver went to the wrong village and put the phone down on me once he realised he was at the wrong address and wouldn't answer his phone the food turned up barely warm so won't be ordering from there again

This was an incredible meal, ordered prior to opening and it was delivered perfectly on time by a friendly delivery guy. The food arrived very hot and fresh! Very happy with size of portions (I couldn't finish mine and it was absolutely delightful) and food altogether brilliant! Our only disappointment is that we are moving from the area and won't be around to order from here again. 10/10 A+++++

Food arrived I just got the bag ope the kids just tucking in to crackers and the door bell Wos ringing and it the delivery driver he sed we have the wrong order so I at to pack it back up and give it back we ad a replacement 30 mins later and the food Wos cold

Incorrect order, requested king prawn and they gave us chicken, didn’t eat it.

prawn cocktail sauce was weird and the Singapore chow mein was ridiculously hot and just tasted like curry powder

When I ordered the estimate said 30-50 minutes. It took over 2 hrs for this order to arrive. The chow mein had about 5 pieces of chicken in it, and the ribs were so tough they were inedible!

Ordered a king prawn chow mein got a chicken chow mein. The rest of the food was a little tasteless apart from salt. I have ordered from here a few times and it's always been excellent such a shame that this time was different 😔

Food was cold and needed reheating. Large pancake roll was just a pile of mush so went straight in the bin. It’s a short journey from Swad to Ashby but it didn’t travel well.

Food was awful, no flour the egg fried rice was just over cooked rice and the chips and and chicken balls were undercooker

Pre order for a specific time and arrived late, secondly the food was barely warm and had to be reheated so that it can be enjoyed. Is this just a Swadlincote thing that all food arrives late and cold, as a customer surely you should expect your food to be at least hot when it arrives. If I wanted a microwave meal I would have bought one

Mostly ok but avoid the mixed appetiser as the quality of the ribs and chicken wings were very poor

Food was disappointing. We ordered house special chow mein, pork in black pepper sauce, salt and pepper chips and curry sauce. The chow mein was ok but was let down by the amount of hoisin sauce over it. The pork dish was ok my husband said. The chips were not salt and pepper chips, they were drowned in sweet chilli sauce. They were dreadful! Curry sauce, watery and not tasty. Only positive was the order was ready on time.

I ordered the set meal, the two ‘spring’ rolls were literally just two slabs of mince meat in a pancake roll, absolutely horrible! Prawn crackers were kind of stale, food wasn’t hot at all, and after I’d called and they’d confirmed that the chow Mein was wet, it was dry! The salt and pepper chicken was spot on, but for £25 that was all that was nice really, super disappointed!

Our order arrived an hour later than the latest time in the estimated delivery time range and over an hour after we were notified that it was out for delivery. It was cold. Sticky sauce had also leaked over other items. Really disappointing.

Food was okay but arrived very late

Have always ordered from here. After tonight I won’t be ordering again. The chips and ribs tasted like they had been cooked 3 times and left to go stale in between. Fried rice was tasteless and the beef chow main had no beef in and again tasteless. I don’t know if it’s changed owners but it was awful,

The food was terrible. It is not normal chinese takeaway, its very different and i would advise anyone to stay away. An example would be the sweet and sour chicken is not orange as usual but brown! horrible! stay away!!

Ordered expensive Fillet Steak because I wanted something succulent and juicy. Fillet Steak was cooked to oblivion, and I mean cooked to a point you could not cook a steak any further. Hard and black on the outside and cooked to ruination on the inside, and served in a black 'tarmac-looking' sauce. When I opened the carton I couldn't even tell there was actually a fillet steak in there. Absolutely awful, totally inedible and unidentifiable as a fillet steak. Also ordered Salt & Pepper chips (Salt and Paper chips as they describe them on their website). These are meant to be dry and savoury and full of flavour. Ended up with a polystyrene carton full of chips which were flooded with spicey chilli sauce and green peppers. Soggy and horrible, totally unsuitable for someone who doesn't like spices. Deep fried Chicken & Orange was OK, but the orange sauce was glutinous and almost unpourable - resembling a jelly-type consistency. Won't be ordering from Golden Dragon again. 😡

Dissapointing that my order was 30 mintues late even though i pre ordered at 4pm.

Food was lovely, really tasty. Only reason I’m not marking it as a 5 is because it was luke warm when it arrived. But other than that really tasty, chilli and salt ribs were amazing!

Prawn toast and mixed balls with sweet and sour sauce were very overcooked. (Free) prawn crackers were stale. Satay chicken was watery and the chicken too dry. First order from this place and definitely the last.

I've had Chinese is there since I moved here and normally the absolutely beautiful 23rd of November today I ordered a Chinese it came on time the delivery driver Short Change Me 50p I know it's only 50p but when I said you need another 50p mate he walked off muttering so ignored that so I'll go and eat my dinner to find out the chickens hard and chewy the chips have been cooked already so the night before and the banana fritter has just stuck it in more syrup so I will never eat there again please be a warned as my dinner has been ruined and I've left off of it and it's cost 16 quid because he didn't give me the right change I've rangem to complain all they said is sorry so they've lost another customer thanks for all looking you will regret if you order from here

GD has become our regular for Chinese cuisine. They are quite far out but still deliver to us. Nothing closer tastes as good.

My son ordered the food online for delivery. It arrived on time. The rice was like the scrappings at the bottom of the pan. The chicken curry, well let’s just say it didn’t taste like chicken. And the chips were dreadful as if they were yesterdays re fried. It cost £25+ with a chowmein and no prawn crackers given. But my main concern was how awful the food tasted. I’m disabled and was treating my son to say thank you wished I hadn’t have bothered. Really awful!!!!!

Very quick delivery and very nice food!

Ordered food with an estimated delivery time of 45 minutes, which I thought was quite long when I only live four miles away, but to add injury to insult it then took a further 45 minutes! By the time it did arrive it was luke warm and the chips had been sweating in its own bag, to say it tasted disgusting is an understatement. Unfortunately after this experience I shall not be using this establishment again, order at your own peril.

Hey guys - sorry to say that this was not great food. Crispy chilli beef was soggy. Not at all crispy. Beef and black bean was fatty and lacked flavour. Chow Mein was bland. Only thing that was half edible was the chicken balls. Prawn crackers also tasted stale / not fresh - as there was little crunch. We ordered from here as our usual takeaway was shut being a Monday evening - unfortunately it really was not very nice food.

Requested "Please do not add extra salt. Thank you" but the omelettes were so salty I was unable to eat mine.
