Order collected food was hot but tasted mediocre sadly but the curry and sweet sour sauce were like glue the rib sauce my friend had was the same never had such bland thick sauces most food went in bin

Very happy that this is my local go-to for takeaway food. Orders have always been ready within 10-15 minutes. Impressive when the menu is so large. Amazing value, large portion sizes, consistently excellent quality food and always a friendly & professional welcome. Highly recommended.

Good experience, called to place an order for pick up and was ready in 20 mins. Chicken balls were amazing, everything was hot and packaged thoughtfully.

I’m extremely disappointed by the lack and poorness of there delivery drivers how very very rude they all are.! All because I didn’t answer the phone she was very rude and abusive. I will not be ordering from here again I have tried talking to the owners but would have more luck getting blood out of a stone so will be taking it much higher if this is not sorted that’s the last thing you need after a hard day at work and wanting to chill out with friends and family this abuse is seriously not tolerated!! Sort your drivers out golden bowl there letting you down!!!!

I definitely will not be ordering from here again I ordered a takeaway and the delivery driver who had blonde hair was very rude she was on her phone whilst delivering my food swearing and shouting also gave me my food in a aggressive manner, which was such a shame as the food was lovely.

Love this place, staff has always been super friendly and will make orders not on the menu, like adding a different sauce to a dish or taking out something you can not consume, not expensive and food is superb and you get a great service with a smile every time

Can’t complain about the food however the delivery driver that dropped our food off was extremely rude, so unpleasant in fact that we will never order from here again, dropped food off shouting and ranting about the time it took to answer the door.

Best duck in plum sauce, juicy and crunchy. Will return to try other dishes.

I had a beef in black sauce with white rice. The beef are very tender and taste similar to what I have in Asia.

We have tried all of the Chinese takeaways in Pembroke and this one is the best. Good food and very tasty and it is obvious they change their cooking oil regularly that makes a difference. I like their spare ribs as they are usually good portions. To be recommended.

Worst thing I’ve ever tasted, my curry sauce was like a thick shake and the rice was like a bowl of growl, will not be ordering from here again I was very disappointed, I did appreciate how quick delivery was and was happy with the service but the food wasn’t nice

Had 2 meals this week while we've been here on holiday just across the road. The food was lovely. Great pieces of meat & fresh products. Service from the staff which was very good also fast service . Really enjoyed it. Recommended 💯 %😁 good prices too. 👌🍜🥂🥢🍷

We have just finished our delicious takeaway meal from The Golden Bowl in Pembroke Dock. Everything about it was faultless. Ordered over the phone to collect in 10 minutes and everything was ready and packed up when I arrived. At home all the food was piping hot, and beautifully prepared by someone who really knows how to use spice and flavour. The meat we had - chicken, pork and prawns was excellent quality and the price was better value than all the competition. We will definitely be ordering again.

Good place to order chinese takeaway. Quick process of ordering and delivery. Be careful to check what you got before you leave because I ended up something else in my curry dish. They tried to correct their mistake that's good but they need to make sure not to repeat this again with other customers. Otherwise good tasty food. Quick delivery fast service reasonable price.

Ordered a takeaway from here, in edible, greasy and disgusting. The mixed Hors D’oeuvres ribs dry crispy sun tun tasted like they had spam in the middle. Veg rolls where was the veg! Crispy beef no beef. Eve fried rice dry burnt. Noodles greasy in edible. Most went in the bin. I do not usually do reviews but this experience has put me off Chinese for life

Our food was amazing the only bit I didn't like was the green peppers in the xtra hot curry sauce but other than that it was amazing.

Price list way out of date, sales people all about selling more than listening to what the customer wants, hence fried rice not boiled rice delivered, very disappointed and will think twice about ordering from this takeaway.again. 5 out of 10.

Ordered for delivery. We were told about an hour, but it turned up 45 minutes late. Guy on the phone said £20.30 and it was actually £33.30, so not off to a great start before we'd even opened the bag. Special fried rice was soggy and overcooked, bbq sauce was oily and seperated. Special chow mein, chicken balls and sweet and sour sauce were okay. Not the best but it was fine. The worst was the pancake/spring rolls. The guy on the phone asked if we wanted the big or small ones so we went for the big ones and asked how many were in ther package. He said it was just one, so we ordered two to share. There were actually 2 in a package, so far too many for us, not that we'd have eaten even just two anyway. Overworked pastry, undercooked filling, oily and put in a foil-lined bag so they just sweat and literally fell apart. Will not ever go back. What a waste of money.

We buy food from here regularly and over the years its been pretty consistent. Virtually everything is very good, occasionally the spare ribs are meatier than at other times. Usually the food is ready exactly when they say it is and that helps. To be recommended.

We have been using the Golden Bowl as our regular Chinese take away for almost 7 years now - we can never fault it. Our delivery is always super speedy and the price is brilliant compared to local compertition. Highly recommended

Nice Chinese and the food was spot on! Had king prawns with green peppers and black bean sauce and it had chopped green chilies in it which I've never come across before in that dish but have to say it made it so much better. Nice job.

This was my favourite Chinese takeaway until just recently. Must have changed their chef as all of a sudden food has gone rubbish. Far too salty. Just absolutely inedible.

Got a very decent sized Chinese for two people and it certainly wasn’t the worst. Absolutely fine and very efficient service.

Great menu and very reasonably priced BUT.... use very regularly for delivery but they pick and choose to when they do and don't deliver.. if they say they deliver they shouldn't change there mind when it is busy.. need to hire more delivery drivers!

ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING .... chicken clearly wasn't chicken smelt like wet dog tasted disgusting too.... and when we took the food back the Chinese woman's responce was "give them there money back and get them out" ... appalling service and attitude!!!! Wouldn't even recommend to karma!!!!! Shame I had to even give the 1 star!!!!

So. I went here to enjoy a Chinese with my friends as a takeaway, considering I have been here before I expected no issues. However, I was wrong. I ordered VEGGIE spring rolls as I myself am a vegetarian and have ordered this before with no hassle! However, Upon taking a bite into my supposedly VEGGIE spring roll, I discovered CHICKEN!!! Appalled and disgusted that this order was incorrect, I could've been allergic and as a vegetarian of 11 years, this caused me severe emotional and physical stress as you can imagine. Do not recommend for a VEGGIE like myself and you will probably be given MEAT!!! Ps. The other food was disgusting anyway.

Popped in last night ( 15/11/16) for a takeaway with family before returning back to West Mids. Had the Sweet and Sour chicken balls with sauce. 10 balls which were processed and very soggy which in turn made the batter all soggy. The sauce tasted like it had come out of a tin. Had to throw it away and stop off for a sandwich on the way home. YUCK YUCK YUCK

Ordered takeway for my parents. Really appreciate the lady on the phone suggested some place to visit when she knew we are tourists, and wrote down a note of the place in food delivery bag.

Always good food would always order from here if i wanted to eat a chicken curry best chicken curry in town.

No comer más. Caro para lo que te dan y el personal era grosero.El huevo frito arroz estaba blanda y sosa. Mi madre pedí pollo cantonés la señora dieron impaciente y rajo, no lo que debería haber pollo de Hong Kong. Tienen una sección de comida cantonesa en el menú que vimos después. Pollo como comida de perros los gustos. Las patatas fritas eran una mezcla de patatas fritas y patatas fritas en grasas y quemados. Carne crujiente no estaba crujiente. Langostinos en sal y Chile y las demasiado masa. Haber intentado la casa sabroso al otro lado de la carretera.

We have a take away from here quite often, whilst they are not going to win awards for the food, the food is good and the portions large. The food is always consistent which cannot be said of many places. Highly recommended.

The best in town ! Really it's just a shame they don't deliver in our area or we would have more. Their mixed appetizers are A1 and the Chicken Curry & Spicy Shredded Beef are to die for.

Have a regular Friday night takeaway from here. Almost always very good, sometimes flavours change a little but nothing to change to another outlet for. Good value and good choice

Ordered kung po chilli prawns. They were obviously left over prawn balls in batter with a sickly dayglo orange sauce. Loads of food but not worth eating. Lots of better, fresher Chinese in the area.

Finally found a great Chinese takeaway establishment in pembroke. food great very tasty, definitely will be using from now on. Also quick service no waiting about, can't fault it.

Varied menu, good portions, fairly priced, prompt service and delivery always. Have tried other local takeaways but this is my favourite.

The food is good, I'm not an expert on Chinese food but have enjoyed all the meals I have had. The food is usually cooked quickly and the portions large. I particularly like the 1 person option half and half tub. The main problem is the service. Almost every time that I have been to this Take away it is like a teenager drop in centre. I have to sit and listen to the Counter staff and her friends talking about extremely personal information about her sex life, about her gender choices. The girl herself is polite enough but by allowing her friends in and their lack of awareness of personal space and shouting out every inappropriate conversation waiting for the food is an extremely uncomfortable experience, to the point I have often just drove past if I see them in there (again). The last experienced involved the fallout of a relationship with all the Jeremy Kyle style going on, I was given intimidating filthy looks by one of the men for having the audacity 0f wanting to go and pick up my food. I had to listen to the shouting and the reasons (detailed and inappropriate)I do believe that the takeaway loses customers as it is exhausting listening to the childish over the top conversations played out for public 'shock' value and as I usually only have a take away when I am tired I am usually too tired to put up with it.
