best chicken shish this man has ever tasted and everything else was spot on

THE WORST RESTAURANT IN THE UK ! I bought 2x their regular 9.50£ Lamb shish kebab They just sold us the package 10% kebab 90% salad and the meat was 90% raw. Absolute waste of money don’t go.

Orderd a regular mixed shish. Literally hada tonne of salad, 4 pieces of chicken and 4 peices of lamb. To top it off they put it in a wrap instead of a pitta. I've been here a few times and there usually spot on. Hopeing its just a 1 off. Frustrating though especially when your starving.

Really dissapointing service from my favourite kebab house. I have order for many years and never had poor quality of food or service, however a recent order of over £30 was delivered to the wrong address after I had told them my new address when ordering. After speaking to them they seemed apologetic and shocked, however as it was a busy Saturday night and late now, I did not request this order to be re-delivered or demand a refund, as I was told that our next order would be covered as they knew I was a regular customer. When phoning to claim this order 2 weeks later, I was told the manager said to only deduct £5 from the total. I am extremely disappointed in this service, over £30 of food went to the wrong address and I trusted that this would be rectified in the future in good faith. My custom has now been lost, I should have complained and requested a refund the night of their mistake.

Absolutely awful food , chicken was barely cooked chips were undercooked and charged £8.50 for three pieces of chicken and chips Absolutely scandalous. The worst food I have ever been served.

Food is a bit pricey but of good quality. Best shish and kufteh kebab in Cardiff. Their spicy wings are also so delicious. Just avoid the fries. The rest is good.

Would prefer a naan or pitta bread for the kebab rather than the tortilla wrap style bread

Food was tasty but the portion of the salad was very small given that we ordered a kingsize kebab. Aim was to share but £18 for 1 kebab was very overpriced.

Chef special is absolutely the best kebab and best deal in Cardiff. It is immense.

Terrible because they got our order wrong and disorganised our food, Wanted mint sauce in a tub & salad separate. Also, did not cater for coleslaw.

Love Golden BBQ but disappointed with tonight’s takeaway. The kebab was delicious as always, but the food was a bit cold (which it never normally is) and they forget to add onions (which I specifically requested). Slightly disappointed, but still the best kebab in Cardiff!

Honestly I am fuming, my wife has gone and got me Kebab meat and chips, cost £10 and it’s like a small. Hardly any meat at all and the chips portion is terrible, I didn’t even have salad or sauce either and you serve a portion like this. This will be the last time I ever go back after that, to serve a portion this poorly is shocking and I’d be embarrassed. Lost a good loyal customer here and it’s a shame because your food is good and tasty. It’s happening far too often now with prices going up through the roof and portions getting smaller and smaller. Victoria Fish Bar wipes the floor with portion sizes so they’ll get my business from now on every time. It was only the week before last we done a £42 order for the family and this stingy portion has gone and lest me feel the way I do. Not happy one bit!!!

One of the worst take aways I've ever had. cheese burger was swimming in grease, fried chicken soggy and inedible. I will never order from here again.

Only downside was the garlic bread seemed to have never come into contact with any garlic in its life, the baguette was tasty at least.

I've used golden barbeque many times over the years and always excellent quality but this time I thought the food was of a very poor quality. I couldn't finish the burger and the chicken Donna meat was tiny pieces and didn't taste good. I can't afford to make a £20 mistake like this. Disappointed and a bit angry TBH.

Portions have got considerably smaller over the last few months. Disappointed over size of kebabs. Still very tasty but as the prices have gone up, I would expect the sizes to reflect

We ordered a Special Kebab and it was overflowing with meat, it was fantastic! Good enough for at least 2 people. Taste was great. Delivery times was even better. Delivered early.
