I had to wait for 80 minutes and my dish never came, other people came after me and finished their dishes and left, and I was still waiting. Absolutely disappointing.

Food was much better than I remember since I came here previously, everything came in a timely manner and any request I needed was facilitated. During Ramadan they even have prayer space!

I usually eat lahmacun once or twice a month. Both times I ate last month, the lahmacuns were very salty. The one I had today had normal salt, but this time it was medium hot. Although I did not order it hot. I wonder if the lahmacun chef changes frequently? It was delicious anyway, thanks.

Going to Gökyüzü is always good. Food is fresh and tasty, portions are generous and the environment is cosy! Last time I tried the dessert menu and was amazed with the flavours!

Edited 19:07pm The manager took time to call me and listened to what happened, apologised and I feel much better now , updated the star ratingto 5* as all the time i have been or ordered online i have never been dissapointed. The first disappointment in years !! I have been going to Gokyuzu Walthamstow and Chingford for years . I have ordered before from them on just Eat and Uber . Today, I ordered from Just Eat(Walthamstow branch)and realised that after a few minutes of placing the order, the driver was already on his way. I live very close to the restaurant . The food arrived cold, lamb cubes , bulgur and bread cold and hard. I have never experienced this from them. I called in to report this, and instead of listening to me, the lady was arguing with me . I said, "This needs to be addressed with the staff who are on duty today , who ever dealt with this order ,which was 5min ago as this is not the standards that except from what I believe to be 5* restaurant. It was very upsetting, and no, it's nothing to do with the driver order placed at 4:48pm and I received it at 5:02pm. This has never happened before, and what made it worse was the lady talking over me and making excuses instead of just saying I am sorry, that this was the case."" Best Turkish restaurant in London. Mixed grill platter for 4 is a winner. Food was great and menu was diverse. As well great for sharing lots of cold and hot meze.I recommend everyone to visit here!

Excellent selection of foods primarily Turkish. Well presented and cooked, friendly helpful staff. On the expensive side. Good toilets, wheelchair accessible. The friendliest most helpful service possible and the food just kept coming. Wonderful.

We were there as a party of 40 and really enjoyed it. We were able to dress the table with no complaints.. . We were not all on time but that that didn't effect the service. We were given our drinks as and when ordered and food came out in a very timely manner. The food was hot and plenty for all of us. We ordered the platters.

The place is quite spacious and suitable for small and big groups. The food is tasty and well done with good services. We're a group of 20 people and we had a great time together.

We ordered chicken doner but we could feel the smell of lamb doner. We told a member of staff named Gulsum about the issue and informed her that we can’t eat it. She replied by saying you should have told us before if you don’t eat lamb. Charged us the full money and included service charge as well.

Went there for lunch with two friends. Not my first Turkish restaurant in London but definitely the best. Hat off for the staff really helpful, kind and around all the time. They made sure that our table stayed clean. They offer bread , salad and yogurt first and it was on the house. We ordered cold Mezza and mixed grilled extra bread and Diet Coke costed us £87 pounds fair for the service and the food we got. Food so delicious , juicy grill and fresh bread , the restaurant very spacious and within minutes from the underground station and many other brands shop. Great location. Must try tea and baklava. Probably one of the most overrated places in Walthamstow compared to the quality of the food which is literally below the normal Turkish restaurants. I have been a client of this place for the last year or so and came to the decision that this place is not worth it. Starting from the food very basic and portions keep getting smaller. The service is alright,( which is the only good quality of this place), but the hygiene especially of the toilet and the floors is disgusting. Once you enter the area, close to the side of the toilet you might think you have entered the toilet as it stinks horribly. Even if you order online your order will take longer than 45 min to arrive due to order taking longer to be prepared by the restaurant. I would strongly suggest to avoid this place and to not get fooled by the fake stars of the reviews. Avoid! Edit: Decided to revisit the place and saw significant improvement overall. Happy with the service as usual, and the atmosphere in general.

Visited here a couple weeks ago, I normally go to the one in Chingford but thought I would try this one out and overall I think the Chingford branch is better. This restaurant is very nicely done up and has a less busy/packed feel than the Chingford branch but I would say the food in Chingford branch wins. This is the type of restaurant that is better for groups of people where you can order platers and share, going with one friend only it works out rather expensive to do singular meals and I think is rather overpriced for what it is.

Delicious and good value, wasn’t as hot as I would have liked and they give you a lot of donor meat in the platters. Service was good, all the waiters sung happy birthday to my daughter, sweet touch.

Had the sharing platter, the lamb and chicken were very succulent and fresh. The service was efficient and friendly and catered to our needs.

Food is good and tasty; I went with couple of Turkish friends and they rated it highly too. We order iskindar and Adana kebab. Iskinder is not for faint hearted and it is a very large portion; you have been warned :) Atmosphere is ok; it was very quiet but they could probably improve the service a bit. They were always in a rush to clear the table - so convo was always getting interrupted. Not a deal breaker but something I felt :/ Dessert was good too - we had baklava as tiramisu is apparently not halal. And the black tea was amazing. Overall we enjoyed and spent 4 hours; brags says something :)

Dine in The ladies were lovely and friendly. I haven't been here in a while, but will be back. If you're around in the morning, try the meditation breakfast! Take Away Exceptional service! I wish I caught the servers name. Very welcoming, offered me a tea while I waited.. It was freezing outside, was just what was needed.

BEST TURKISH FOOD EVER!!!! my cousin and i came here for a dinner and we were so pleased with the service. the waiters are so friendly and welcoming, and are quick to serve you. food was so fresh and flavourful, felt like i hadn’t eaten in years!!! so affordable if you’re looking for a nice place to eat that isn’t lazy fast food but isn’t overpriced fine dining. 10/10 SLAYYYYY

The food was excellent, but especially the service. Everything came in good time, beautifully cooked and my waiter (Christina J) asked the kitchen to make a bespoke salad based on a question I had about the menu. There was also the perfect mixture of attentive service and leaving me to a peaceful and relaxing meal.

I ordered chicken Doner for my wife and meat was absolutely not Fresh was sting and the guy who was taking order he said is fresh pepole and the manager or boss is not genuine i didn't pay for that and after the boss say ok not to pay because he understand that he will have big problem if my wife will have problems after so we she didn't eat and we gone from there dont eat in that reustarant honestly and the guy ho was taking order he was stinging ugly pepole

Absolutely amazing food. This restaurant doesn't look like typical Turkish restaurant, it looks a bit more posh. I was living in Turkey for about 6 years so I know how the real food should taste. I love their Beyti meals, lamb chops and many more, they also serve breakfasts which I love in Turkey but this is a bit more like Turkish English version. It was good but not delicious. I love their start salads ! I can recommend this place!!

Absolutely cannot fault this place! The whole experience was perfect from start to finish. We've never been before but decided to pop in while we're staying nearby. We were warmly greeted and promptly sat. The waitress even moved us to a bigger table when one became available to accommodate all our food and drinks since they give you bread and salad too. The waitress was so kind and cheerful. She is a credit to the team here! And the food was GORGEOUS! I had Pide and the husband had a mixed donner. All so tasty. We couldn't eat it all, but thankfully they offered us a box to take away. We'll definitely be back! Thank you so much for the amazing food and fantastic service!

Excellent service! Friendly and welcoming environment. Food was just right temperature exactly the way I like.

We came with a lot of people towards closing time so perhaps the quality was a bit tainted because of that. But the food was decent, tasted great when still hot but got rubbery quite quickly. Service was good and the food did come out quick so while being there with 15 people we had a great time and nothing to complain about other than the food not being amazing when cold.

Perfect family meal. Great service, nice atmosphere, and the best Turkish you can find in London. Situated near Walthamstow Central, easy public transport. If driving, suggest parking in Asda car park, approx £2 for 2h. Plenty of seating downstairs and upstairs. Let them know if it's someone's birthday. Had a surprise birthday sing song from all the workers at the restaurant. Very nice. Platters are highly recommended if you want to try a bit of everything especially if you are dining out with a group. Salad and bread given at the start of the meal, make sure not to load up too much on that before your mains (easily done!)

This is the first time in months that i’ve been gokyuzu,the food was lovely as always and the service was impeccable our lovely server christina made sure we had everything we need although there was a dinner party she apologised even though it wasn’t needed we didn’t mind but thank you christina for the great service and warm welcome and thank you to the chefs to the lovely food
