racist staff and didn't give me the drink I needed and the very cold food and forgot to put a juice in my child and put rio

We order food from Go peri peri they delivered so late we had waited a long time and we called them twice ,it’s first time.

This place have now messed our order up on multiple occasions. We went back today after not ordering for a while... And they messed the order up. Then when we called to tell them about it the guy on the phone told me I am wrong. Will not order again and massively suggest no one else does either. You won't get what you want. 1 star is more then I want to give, but this website won't allow me to go lower.

If you want really good peri chicken, this is definitely the place for it. Order taken promptly, cooked fresh and tasted superb.

App order 40 minutes before closing and arrived 10 minutes before closing to collect order only to be told it was to late and I wouldn't be getting my order. They informed me they won't cook the food I ordered online until I arrived. Ridiculous way of running a business. Surely the whole point of ordering online and paying upfront is so that you don't have to wait. Shame but I won't use them again

It was an absolutely wasted of my time and money and we all had food poisoning from this I’ve reported it to the authorities and they said they’ll have it investigated

Suffice it to say that both of us got food poisoning last night after eating at this location. My veggie burger was sloppy and tasteless and fell apart almost instantly. My partner had chicken and has been more ill for 24 hours with stomach issues to date. We were so disappointed as we like to support small local businesses. We didn't understand why there were 7 staff behind the counter when we arrived and yet the place still seemed disorganized.

Worst behaviour. The guy who works on till doesn’t know how to behave when you are working on till. The place is so dirty . I am not going back.

Big Vibes at Go Peri. Managed to beat the crowds on a Saturday evening and get a table at this prestigious eatery. Service was outstanding and the food was high grade without fault. Ratings.

The guys there always maintain a good customer services. Food there is grilled to the way you want it, timing is wonderful. They make one of the best grilled meal in Cheltenham.

Could not get a delivery from normal place so tried this one. We ordered a delivery for an enjoyable lunch at work with colleagues - chips, corn-on-the-cob and mild peri chickenbreasts. The chips were good but the breasts inside a soggy soggy wrap and the soft soggy corn on the cob means we will not be ordering from here again...sorry!

Received the incomplete order and when complained they are refused to refund.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!! I was ripped off, I ordered five chicken strips for £5 and received a small piece of chicken sliced into five pieces. It was two mouthfuls at best. I'm not from the area so they obviously thought they could con me. When I showed the tiny bit of food to a taxi driver he thought it was hilarious and agreed I'd been well and truly ripped off.

I got a very bad food poison ! The place is not all the time clean and I see that the grill is full off grease! I don’t recommend at all ! I spent 16h+ to the hospital after I eat there ! So is a big NO

Literally the greatest thing to ever come out of Cheltenham

Found this place open after midnight on a Tuesday after spending 11 hours in a broken down vehicle waiting for the RAC. Food was so good and well priced! Can't fault it!

I’ve been going Cheltenham Go Peri for 5 years and since the pandemic the service has been horrendous with constant wrong orders, overcooked (burnt) chicken, undercooked chicken to missing items but the worst is the attitude from the cook who claims himself as the manager (he’s skinny with qoofy teeth, who looks like punter from the lower highstreet gang) I usually go for a full chicken platter every time and try to avoid this place as I have also seen chicken been dropped on the kitchen floor and the picked up, seriously! The boss Kasim is oblivious to these issues and thinks the problem is isolated and lie’s with me - Kasim wake up and read your reviews and take action!!! Astaghfirullah

No too shabby, well cooked, the hot one is actually hot which is something I can appreciate. Can't say anything about the delivery sice I've collected.

If I could leave less than one star I would… disgusting attitude toward customers we were regulars.. our first order was incorrect then our second came and we were greeted by an arrogant prat demanding £24.06 for the originally missed and already paid for meal. This missing items Valued at £5.00. avoid this place and there nasty staff.

Ordered an hour before closing time on deliveroo and it said the food was “on the way” for at least 45 minutes. An hour and a half later the food never arrived. We tried to ring to ask where our food was but we got no answer, and no money back. Not very impressed considering we’ve ordered before regularly and had no problem :(

Hi everyone. It's not recommended this place. First time when I went in last week to get some of burger for me and my mate,it's been correct. Then second time last week, my mate double cheeseburger been on peri peri sauce there. Today I get there on my burger chilli sauce on my burger, which is said on recit it's mild. And my mate didn't get him salad on him burger, which is on recit. What's is going on for this place. Council food regulator need will check this place for food standards.

Raw red chicken wing! I rang and was told they cook them using two appliances, not sure what that has to do with red raw chicken. We feel physically sick as others ate food from this order and wondering whether their food was cooked proper. Safe to say we will not be ordering from here ever again.

Hands down the best place to eat in Cheltenham. Should have 4 Michelin stars. Ordered double chicken pitta last night and ordered another 20 minutes later. Lucky customers get a rogue chip in their wedges. Greg Wallace would lose his mind in excitement if he ate here.

Myself and my partner eat takeaway from go peri every other week for a treat, we have double wrap meals, we order through just eat. I can honestly say I've never had a problem with the food , the portions are good, the food is tasty and always quick for delivery

I had never tried this place before and during race week my boss said to order from here I was a bit skeptical but I agreed (plus free food). When it arrived it smelled amazing, so that's a good start. Then I tried it, wow it is so good! Needless to say I have now ordered from there loads of times to work and to home. It is so good! 100% recommend!

Best food in Cheltenham loves the double grilled burger and the sauce

I've been coming here since they opened several years back, and I'm happy to say that the quality and value of the food hasn't fallen at all. The other day, I ordered two large platters with a total of three chickens (hot), 13 wings (hot), two portions of rice, two portions of peri chips, two portions of wedges, a bottle of 7 Up and a Coke; this all came to a very reasonable price. The food was ready around 20 minutes after ordering, and I was surprised with how busy it was late night on a Thursday. The food was hot (freshly cooked) and spicy (as desired) and I have absolutely no complaints. The salad wasn't your bog standard lettuce and cucumber, but there was some feta cheese, olives and salad dressing to make it a bit more interesting. I'd fully recommend Go Peri Cheltenham for anybody in the mood for it.

Hot Chicken and the peri salted chips. That is what I tried. Courteous staff and quick service. Very reasonable price. Would definitely recommend this place if you are at the spa town.

Food was exquisite, and the 'spice' ratings were accurate, compared to nearby Nando's. 'Hot' is actually hot. It is a must visit, especially if you're here for a holiday at Holiday Inn. Would recommend you to go at around lunch hours (11AM to 3PM) as all main courses + the sides is £4 (around a £3 saving without the discount).

We ordered the family platter, ample food for 5 adults, the chicken was tender and well spiced and the chicken wings were humongous, the peri peri chips were also awesome. The rice was the only thing that was average. I would highly recommend to others in the area.

The food was horrible, soggy pitta with brown lettuce and disgusting overcooked wedges, when I called for a refund the man on the phone was incredibly rude and said we don’t issue refunds. Inedible and will not ever be ordering again.

Useless place you'd ever waste your money on. Useless place .this is the third time I decided to give them a chance but us usual they lived up to their expectations, not only did they serve me the wrong order but their chicken was stale .

I was pleasantly surprised considering scolding reviews. Delivery was prompt and on Friday i must add, well earlier then deliveroo app suggested, perhaps because it was my first deliveroo order, .let's keep that in mind, those marketing c.nts think they're clever. anyways, half an hour, all hot, chips nice and crisp, chicken charred as i hoped. I like what they did with a salad, Mediterranean style, olives, tomatoes, nice lettuce and so one, well done. very happy. yes, very nice meal, good job.

Wow I dont tend to leave reviews but felt like had to tonight. First time ordering from this place on deliveroo and it arrived 25 early than anticipated and the food was steaming hot like just out of the oven. Very generous food portions and very tasty. I have parked next to go peri many times waiting for my partner in the oriental shop but have never ventured in, today I was feeling hungry so thought I would give it a try. So I went in for a hot chicken wing platter and the food was epic. My misses that wasn't hungry even eat loads of it because it smelled so nice. The staff were friendly and even gave me a hot jelly bean from a challenge pack. I will be coming back soon, I can't wait to try the rest of the menu.

This place used to be good, went there weekly, but it’s gone down the pan now. Portion sizes are absolutely terrible, picture attached was a double wrap apparently and the chips were cold

Overall the food is quite nice and we visit this takeout once every couple of weeks, however recently the delivery times have been taking longer and longer and also the portions have been reduced for some items. Never had an issue with the quality of food. Also to add; food is halal.

I haven't eaten from here in a long long time. The food was hot, fresh and on time. No faults, no issues, no concerns. One thing I will say is that the staff don't speak English very well and so communication over the phone is quite difficult for both parties. We got there in the end however!

Great food, great customer service. I placed an order for collection, and because I am not from the area I accidentally went to pick it up from the wrong branch! When I realised I made a mistake, and thinking the food will get cold by the time I got to the right branch, I called them up and they kindly made me a fresh meal. Great quality of chicken, and generally a good place.

Just ordered through Deliveroo in searching for a cheaper food option. We were blown away by the generous portions, the excellent flavour and quality of the food; and the speed at which this was delivered. Will definitely order again. Thanks! Well worth it. I ordered on a recommendation from a friend however i was left Overall disappointed with a horrible taste left in my mouth Firstly when I was notified it was on the way it took 25 minutes to actually arrive which on its own is a 10 minute or less walk away. The food arrived to me cold, the onion rings and chicken nuggets had not heat at all The burger was a disaster - chargrilled is nice but not When it’s more on burnt side. I could taste more charcoal than chicken. The bun was wet meaning the sauce I can only assume is watered down making it very very hard to eat as it was so slippery. I think if my Rings, wedges and Nuggets were hot it would’ve saved this but it was just cold and not a pleasant eat. Most of it went in the bin. And my hands still smell like burnt charcoal from the burger. Waste of money and I wouldn’t recommend them at all.

Best munch in town hands down. My go to munch stop. Makes nandos look like the Brazilian football team against Germany in the 2014 FIFA world cup. Top order: Double chicken breast pitta Peri salted chips Onion rings It's well cheap too. Cheapest munch in town.

Some of the best tasting peri chicken I’ve had, smells and taste very authentic. But very small portions for the price, if hungry I wouldn’t recommend, but if your looking for something tasty and fresh It’s definitely a great option and I would definitely recommend it to a friend.

This has been our best takeaway for so long. We order it weekly. Recently it has gone hugely downhill. They have forgotten part of our order on numerous occasions and refused to make it right. They have often altered the recipe to make it spicyer than usual. I have always supported this local business and recommended it to my friends. Well that now stops I will no longer use this place. Very dissapointed

For the price you can't argue. Best value chicken shop around and the grilled chicken actually tastes like it was once alive. Fries, strips and burgers are also good quality. Open till late.

Ordered from them, it gave me an upset stomach. Also I ordered a wrap which had a really long hair in, which is a shame because the food tastes good and service is okay.

Good grilled chicken bad fast food.

Definitely cleaner than the last time I visited. Staff do take a while to acknowledge the fact that someone has walked into their store. Also, can be a bit clumsy whilst preparing the food, like throwing it around from grill to grill. Decent prices though so can't complain about that. Another side note, on deliveries, they often forget parts of the order, almost everytime, which is extremely annoying.

Amazing peri chicken! My only qualm with them (unrelated to GO PERI) is that they closed their Pizza place called OMG PIZZA!😢😢! They served the best pizzas and now only mediocre pizza places left!

Charged twice, awful delivery driver. I've been using Go Peri for years, I used their new website to order and paid via card, I specified an arrival time and left a note not to deliver before a certain time. It turned up early and the driver refused to give me my food unless I paid again, in cash. I phoned the restaurant and they said it had not been paid for even though I showed proof to the driver. The food was near cold and everything in the bag was squashed, looked like it had been sat on. Noticeable chicken bone in the burger. Not only have I been charged double, poor service and awful food this time. Sort it out Go Peri!

Best peri peri in Cheltenham, food is consistently great! Chicken breast in pitta is my personal favourite but all menu items are top. Cheap and cheerful, even more so when you order on their website/app and get 15% off Really friendly and humble guys. One of my favourite place to eat since 2013

Liked it here but been put off by 1 star food hygiene rating

Never had a problem, until tonight! Sent food but item was missing. Took over an hour to send us the the missing burger. I called them a couple of times throughout this and whoever I spoke to wasn't interested to talk to me at all. When burger finally did turn up, it was stone cold. I have ordered lots from Go Peri and recommend many friends. Last time I do. Bye Go Peri, shove your burger!

Ordered food, took an hour to arrive as normal and then found out the order was wrong. Called up immediately and explained that the order was wrong, person on the phone was rude and not very understanding. Last thing he said was “driver on his way” so an hour and a half later nobody has turned up to deliver the replacement so I call up again to ask where it was. Same unintelligent employee answers the phone and says that they hadn’t received any complaints. After about 10 minutes explaining that they’d messed up and not even bothered sending the right order even though I clearly stated it was wrong, he sent a driver who then arrived and asked for the wrong order back. Bare in mind it had been about 2 and a half hours since originally ordering I’d have already thrown away the food as I cannot eat ketchup due to allergy. He was adamant that he must receive the wrong order back to swap with the new order and so told me to call his boss. I then went upstairs to get my phone and heard a car door close, he had left without giving the replacement or even giving me the chance to call his boss. Utterly stupid, why run a business where the employees are too thick to even get orders right in the first place, and are rude to customers. Definitely never ordering from here again.

Take your money then don’t deliver food. When you ring they pretend to not understand you and then just hang up. Thus has happened twice to us now. Never again! Avoid!

GoPeri isn't a place you go to for high quality dining. If you want a damn tasty chicken burger with some above average chips and some of the god's nectar known as Rio, this is the place to go. Lunch meals are £3.99. What else are you gonna do? Eat a sandwich meal deal? Forget that

Este lugar es el peor de los pozos. Tarde, frío, comida equivocada, lo que sea, lo hacen. Lo peor para llevar en Cheltenham. Lo que es peor, tienes que esperar alrededor de 3 horas para recibir esta basura empapada y fría. Me dejaron la comida de alguien más una vez. Estaba a la mitad de las fichas antes de darme cuenta. Regresaron, lo recogieron y se lo llevaron a otra persona. Va a demostrar que realmente no tiene idea de dónde ha estado su comida cuando se trata de aquí. Vómito. Simplemente no te arriesgues. Masivamente no vale la pena. Si pudiera dar un cero lo haría.

The chicken is by far the best peri peri in Cheltenham. However, NEVER order for delivery because they usually take a minimum of 2 hours. Obviously it's not the cleanest place in the world but the food tastes so good that it makes it 4 stars alone. £3.50 for a burger, chips and drink is insanely good value for money, just go and collect it or they'll abuse you down the phone and get your order wrong 😂
