Go Falafel in Manchester

A terrible place to get food from, the price charged is more than what it is shown on the website. The girl who served us was VERY RUDE, and whilst serving us she was not only rude but once she pulled her face as well (blonde hair girl - white complexion). Will never go there again. Spent £20 today at Go Falafel Piccadilly Gardens. I am prepared to spend £30 next time at some other place for the same food but won't go to this place again. Also, I will tell my friends about this bad experience. If the owner has some courage then either respond to this feedback or tell people why they have recruited rude members of staff whose behavior with the customers is very insulti ng.

Usually the best falafel in Manchester, just ordered a large wrap and it was almost empty, no where near as filling as it usually is, like they were scrimping to the point I could count the pieces of cucumber. Literally they put in half what they put in a week ago. The woman on service also didn't seem like she could be bothered speaking to people.

My go-to place in Central Manchester - delicious food and really generous portions. Staff are always really friendly as well so can't really recommend this highly enough.

My go-to vegan lunch when I’m in the office - can’t go wrong! Staff are always lovely and efficient and the food is yummy - I get a falafel wrap most weeks and have done for the last few years

The falafels are delicious. Perfectly seasoned with a mouth-watering crumbly surface texture. The hummous, salads, spicy potato and chili sauce top it off. Amazing value for money. Highly recommended.

This place offers vegetarian food options. The food served is fresh and hygienic. Love the healthy salad box options. Will definitely recommend it if you like falafal. The staff is also fine.

They have amazing Falafel and honestly their hummus is really good its very creamy and tasty. No parking guys, burn some calories before and after lol

Literally never open until 10PM, try to go in most days after my shift but they’re always closed early. Great food so it’s a shame

It's good but I would recommend getting some more salads and you can look for some inspiration from eat a pitta from Bristol for some sauces and flavours.

Fresh juices made right in front of you, falafel so nice too

One of my favourite fast take away for a quick meal or snack. The quality of their falafel is probably the best in manchester. Very crispy on the outside and very soft on the inside. You will feel the flavours of sesame and parsley adding to the awesomeness.

Dear manager I am Dr. Kabas who has been recently moved to Manchester , I asked about falafel shop as I am vegetarian and big fan of falafel and I found your shop . I came to buy falafel wrap everyday . Until yesterday when I came across a very rude staff member who was trying to even bullying , he cursed me , and shouting at me . All that happened because because I asked about the price of salad box . I was given two different prices by him and by another staff member , and when I asked how come such a matter happened , that rude staff member was angry and accused me that I was confusing customer !! I asked him about the nature of some salads as there were no signs indicating what they are made of , he replied " I do not know - !! I aske him how many salads options I can add , one female staff told all salads can be included ,, while that rude male staff told me I could add only six options . I did not argue with him and paid the price and left the shpp . When I came another time to buy falafel.salad , he said to me the shop had closed now though it was only 9;30 n the evening . After I left the shop , three customers got into the shop and they were served . When I asked him why did he do that with me he said " I do not want to serve you ,;you are bustard, I will meet you outside the shop if you want ...etc " !! I asked him about his boss , he said there is no boss here . I understand that intended to be a regular customer who paid 8 pounds daily , which is worth of 240 pounds a month and more than 2000 pounds a year because of the rudeness and irresponsibility of such careless staff For me I lost nothing as I can find many other falafel shops in manchester , and as regards to that rude staff he is not going to lose anything too as he is going to get his salary in all cases . However , the only loser in such case is the employer of such reckless staff who lost a regular customer . Regards . Dr. Kabas

Me and my vegan friend loved how good this tasted. The falafel is so fresh tasting and moist, and even though it's healthy food, it really feels like a treat. We both got the meal deal with the falafel wrap, and smoothie. It was very filling and satisfying.

Falafel Wrap mit drei Falafel £5.50. Die Falafel und Toppings sind gut, das Brot etwas zäh. Dadurch artet das Essen in eine ziemliche Sauerei aus. Der Laden ist auch eher auf takeaway ausgerichtet.

Attitude was r×bbiish and the sandwich wasn't up to much either: cold and hard like the ones who made it. Customer service was much better before.

The falafel was fairly perfect and vegetables were fresh. Hummus was also really good. Love this place.

Hadn't been in a couple years but it was a good as ever. I got the falafel salad box. 5 falafel with 6 salads and houmous. £7.95. Very good value. Falafel always hot and freshly cooked. Gorgeous salads. Great variety. Favourite lunch. Ladies working there were running a tight ship. Clean, well-stocked, well-presented, fast, efficient and kind.

Beyond rude, unfriendly and unhelpful. Acted as though they were doing me a favour being there and looked confused when I didn’t understand the menu - avoid at all costs or get better staff!

The bread was hard in places as if it wasn't fresh and the falafel was barely warm. Disappointing considering it was a Saturday lunchtime and this has been on my list of places to go for quite some time!

If you're staying at the disappointing Premier Inn, on Dale Street, and have made the mistake of eating at their "restaurant", do yourself a favor and get some real food from these guys. When you get back to the hotel, help yourself to their cutlery, (no one will even notice) and enjoy your meal in the comfort of your soulless room. Best takeaway I've ever eaten.

A bit pricey. Opens at 11, should be opened earlier considering falafel is mainly a breakfast meal. Great falafel wrap, even better than some of the ones back home in the middle east. Definitely will be coming back, highly recommended!

Just arriving in Manchester at Piccadilly station, I cycled down to this take away. Convenient cycle rack just outside. I had the falafel lunch box, somewhat ironic in a city that has breakfast, dinner and tea. It was delicious with a great selection of salads, all vegan, and plenty of food. Falafel were freshly cooked and tasted amazing. I brought my own container, to save on plastic waste, and they happily put my take away in that, with the bread separately in a paper bag.

Amazing falafel wrap! Walked in at 9:40pm and was happily served. The falafel were extremely tasty and the other components of the wrap added a great mixture of flavour. I would highly recommend it for any vegans wanting a quick and easy tasty bite!

I visit go falafel all the time, as it’s right by where I live - I adore the fresh healthy delicious food - especially the veg juices and falafel salad Lunch boxes - often with beetroot and broccoli - really wonderful. Great staff, always friendly to me

If you are longing for the taste of falafel from the streets and hidden alleys of Jordan/ Palestine / Israel, this is the place for you! I have tried endless places serving so called falafel and almost started to give up Good quality tabboula too, maybe with an extra squeeze of lemon would be perfect Thank you for getting the recipe right and bringing nostalgic middle easter vibes in my dish I had mine with extra shattah (green chilli) and tons of tahini Thanks for the lady who is serving too so friendly and generous Thanks a million all xx S

They have just rocketed their prices up wont be able to afford them as often now ,what a shame I used to recommend them to peeps who used to say vegan food was expensive, they were right I guess?

Ordered on Uber eats to my hotel last night , always wanted to try it . Ordered 3 falafel , hummus , a bread and tabbouleh . The falafel were smooshed , the bread was rock solid and screwed up so I could eat it and I think they forgot to put the bulgar wheat in the tabbouleh because I was literally eating mint and parsley and as much as I love my salad and herbs , this was actually inedible , I can make better myself . I was really disappointed . Oh and the hummus was bland and tasteless .

I go there once a week at least, became a bit of a ritual. Staff are always great and the falafel 🤤 best I've had. I've declared several times this would be my 'death-row' meal - if I did think systems that haven't abolished that are abhorrent. Well, this took a dark turn for a falafel review 😅 the falafel is great!

This shop has very friendly staff and is kept very clean. I'd choose this store over their grubby Rusholme shop any day.

Went to order falafel and juice at 9:30 and a lady behind the counter told me "no can't make you juice as we have 30 mins to closing time " so I left. Because she wanted to go home earlier and cleaned the blender earlier , doesn't mean that you should say to your customers NO

Fresh, reasonably priced falafel wrap.

I had not been here for a while. I had a delicious wrap in a flatbread with loads of delicious Falafels, houmous, tahini, mixed salad, red cabbage and chilli sauce, chilli peppers and I paid extra for grilled aubergines. All delicious. You can also get a, salad bar and a range of fruit drinks. Great service. A amazing place.

I had my lunch to take out today and I have to say You guys have some amazing worker gentelman at your store and I don’t think he should be there by himself serving 10people in the line and uber/Deliveroo drivers, it is really unfair on him to work like this! You got delivery drivers getting angry at his face when it’s not his fault his got line of people to serve as well !!!

Very disappointing. We went there 2 times on different days but every time the manager of the shop says it’s closed at 8:30 . It seems like he doesn’t want to work . Every thing is on the counter but he was not serving the customers just saying it’s closed . The website says that shop closed at 10 but we went there at 8:30 twice , the same guy there said closed and enjoying his cigs by standing out of the shop .

I have been treating myself to a go falafel lunch every Friday for years. The falafel is delicious, crispy, succulent and vibrant. The accompanying salads are great too. I think the best thing is the bread though. They staff are efficient and friendly, even if they are busy.

Good choice of salad that changes daily. Still serves the basic salad but that other salad you can have in the salad bowl...lush. Nice enough place.

Really good Fillafil. This is my favorite fillafil spot in Manchester. There is no place to sit so you would have to take the wrap to go. They also have a variety of fresh juices! Super cheap and healthy.

The food is really tasty and the restaurant is so clean. The only bad thing was that lady working in the restaurant, she was very very rude, when I was reading the menu to decide what i am going to take she tried to hide from my eyes and she started talking about me and laughing with her colleague and I noticed that. When I faced her, she took her head down and apologized, really i very very annoyed about what she did.

I only tasted and eat now and then one thing here. Large falafel wrap, for a fiver. Those 5 stars are in regard to that particular thing only. It's awesome. Fresh and tasty. Don't know s**t about anything else so go and check them yourself. But have the large falafel wrap first.
