Probably the best appointed chip shop I have ever been in. Spotless with immaculately presented staff. Not only that one of the best haddock fish suppers I have ever had.

Had our first fish and chips after the lockdown and it was a treat. Great fish with crispy batter and fantastic chips. Best in Scotland!!

This chippy makes their own steak pies,absolutely outstanding, the meat was a top quality cut ,shredded with no fat .and a superb gravy ,chips fluffy and crispie, defo a gold award for thier pies..,,,,,fae geoff the chef

I came here the other night for fish & chips. It was the biggest and tastiest portion that I have found from any of the chippers in the Broch. The battered haddock was delicious. The prices are very reasonable too. And the service could not be faulted. I will definitely be back again soon.

Always very consistent.The batter on the fish is always crisp and the chips are crisp on the outside and soft in the middle - perfect. The best fish and chips around.

I loved the takeaway I ordered from this establishment. The chips were fantastic and my chicken fillets were the best I have ever tasted. My mother and husband chose the fish supper and were absolutely delighted.

Great little chippy. Only downfall is a few times when placing a order over the phone its been wrong. Apart from that any other time iv been in the food is great and friendly staff as well.

Despite an initially amusing language barrier (I couldn’t understand why the friendly server was asking if I wanted my fish “buttered” ) the quality of the fish was excellent - as we hoped for being in such a big fishing port.A shame they didn’t do peas and it was a bit pricey (£6.95 for fish and chips) but very good nonetheless.

Popped in here for a fish supper for my mum. Lovely friendly young lady who advised me my fish would take about 5 mins. Mum said it was best fish she’d eaten in a long time.

I went with a very large order and the staff were not at all overwhelmed. We only had to wait about five minutes and the whole order was ready with all the salt and vinegar and sauce on. It was fresh and hot and delicious. The chip shop is very clean and the staff helpful and very efficient. Will definately be back.

Fish and chips from Glover is a treat and would recommend. I always get the chips separate as they don't drain the chips like the old days and then the fish gets soggy before you get a supper home so its better separate. Would recommend as its a treat

I ordered a cheese burger and chips and was disappointed with the chips being hard and cheeseburger was a bit chewy. the place was nice and clean and staff were friendly.

One of the most delectable breaded haddock I've ever had! Another plus is that it's fried in vegetable oil. Home-made tartar sauce is not to be missed.

Really great we had Breaded Fish it was absolutely brilliant. The shop is clean staff neat and tidy. Would recommend to anyone. One down side it was closed on sunday, do not know if this is still the case.

We had haddock in batter and steak pie supper. The fish was really fresh in a crispy batter cooked perfectly, the steak pie was served in a foil tray so not deep fried and was really tasty with a perfect amount of gravy - the chips were really good too. We also had a tin of Diet Coke which was nice and cold.

Our favourite fish n chip shop in fraserburgh, always freshly cooked so you have to wait, but it’s worth waiting for and their milkshakes are lovely

Absolutely love this place, I have never tasted batter so crispy, the chips are gorgeous, dry and cooked perfectly, always seems to be consistent, it has been the same every time, hardly any grease, love it!

Food fresh hot and tasty have been to this takeaway quite a few times will visit again would recommend to friends and family only thing i would point out is the cost a bit expensive for a takeaway

Llamamos aquí una harina de pescado y patatas fritas antes de regresar a Inverness y nos alegramos mucho de haberlo hecho. El Abadejo era absolutamente deliciosa y tan fresco con agradable pasta ligera crujientes y las patatas fritas eran buenos! Gracias Glover y Co.

Four of us had fish and chips and one scampi and we all thought they were great. The fish batter was so crispy and light and the chips were excellent - the scampi was also very good. Great chip shop.

Hemos venido aquí mucho entre Findlay y aquí, pero tuve el mejor pescado que he tenido creo jamás hace unas pocas semanas. Me dieron una cena de pescado rebozado y patatas y el pescado estaba increíblemente suaves y esponjosas. Patatas fritas son sabrosos y el servicio es siempre bueno

The food is cooked to order so there was a wait, but it did not disappoint when it arrived. the staff were informative and polite

Great chippy.everything is cooked fresh. Little bit more expensive that other chip shops but worth it as big portion sizes and lovely tasting fish. Their scampi is lovely and one is more than enough for 2 people in my eyes. Would highly recommend it

I've heard about this place and thought we'd give it a go. Ordered 2 fish and chips. Got back and opened it, it looked like they had poured oil in the box. Not very tasty. Didn't even have that amazing chipper smell coming out the box. The fish was dry and the chips were just okay. Wish I'd gone to the other one. .

We have tried many different fish and chip shops but none come close to this one for quality. The batter on the fish is always crispy and the chips are excellent. Not only that, the quality is consistently excellent.

Great battered fish and lovely chips, best I have had.The portion size is huge, not perhaps the cheapest in Fraserburgh , but definitely the best.

Expensive and food dry loads of chips personally I would order a supper and a single as there are heaps of chips can be a hit or a miss I think it is an expensive chippy menu not that fantastic a lot of things have been discontinued food awful dry

Good food but FAR too expensive, if you go rpund the corner to finlays you'd get just as good if not better food for a bit cheaper. Not my local chippy. Wont go back due to price. Fine if your rolling in money

We had the traditional haddock with Chips; freshly made; kitchen very clean and service smart. For 6.10 £ almost enough for two as a snack in the road and stop in Fraserbourg!

The header says it all - fresh fish tastly batter if you want that batter to be that bit crunchie ask the staff to have the fish cooked a few minutes longer you want regret it

Just what you need- takes phone orders too so it's always fresh! Good menu choices and lots to choose from - offers breaded and battered too!

Used to go to Fraserburgh quite a bit for fish and chips - but these past months Glover and Co are going downhill - last time I will buy fish - dont think the fish was none too fresh seemed as if it had been frozen and thawed out, once cooked it was soaked in fat inside the under cooked batter, (this was made worse as I had especially asked for the fish/batter to be properly cooked) - the prices keep going up and up and the quality keeps going down and down - sorry folks but you need to reverse whatever your doing to bring back the quality

Shop is ammaculately clean spotless, staff are very friendly and efficient. The batter is the best I have tasted apart from my mums which was excellent, only grumble is the chips......average.

Beats anything the supermarkets or big fast food chain has on offer, really tasty chicken breasts or sometimes they have on the bone, wish I knew the secret of their coating.

Been in a lot if chippers in my time but the fish and chips from Glovers was out of this world, perfect chips and succulent fish in a crispy breadcrumb. Not a dot of grease to be seen.
