Prawn cocktail excellent. Carbonara excellent. Service excellent. Thoroughly recommend.

I have been there several times and last night together with a group of friends we really enjoyed the evening. The staff is really kind and attentive the food well cocked and the plate seemed an architectural design . It was the first time for some of my friends yesterday night and they enjoyed and will come beck for special occasions… the restaurant is elegant , excellent staff and food beautiful music in the background … full of charme … io sono italiana e tutto ciò mi ha fatto rivivere l’emozione di essere in uno dei miei locali preferiti a Milano … grazie Glasshouse !

Never again what a let down fillet wasn’t fillet more like rump we only ever have fillet so we know what we’re looking at. Wine was just pored out without the option of trying it first well it was awful no date on the bottle which questions it’s authenticity in my book the mixed seafood tempura wasn’t great the prawn tempura still had the complete shell on and the presentation was none existent Very disappointing Dan

We went here with our 7 month old son on Valentine’s Day for an early dinner as we could not get any childcare. It was amazing! The owner accommodated us the best he could ensuring we had a table in a warm area for baby. Having the high chair prepared in advance. Even started food service early for us, which we really appreciated as trying to get out with a baby is hard. The waiter was lovely. Food was incredible. Cocktails were great. The restaurant was decorated so well for valentines. Last time we visited here was Father’s Day when the food was also incredible. Absolutely love this place. Really make occasions feel special. Thank you for a great evening!

What a great restaurant! The service was very friendly and accommodating of our different demands and indecision. The food was delicious. We had a range of food (steak, lamb, pasta) and the children's spaghetti bolognese was particularly tasty! It was clear and a great deal of care and attention was taken to prepare each dish. The wine choices were particularly good. Authentic Italian wines which you would (sadly) never find in a supermarket. A memorable evening- thank you for making it so special.

Very clean, food is exceptional, service very good, a little chilly inside even with the heating on, music a little annoying but all in all a nice place. Really enjoyed it

I cannot express enough the great experience I had with this restaurant. My husband was spending Xmas with my father in law as he is ill and we live in N,Ireland. I rang a number of restraraunts, farm shops to order some dinner for them on Xmas day but no-one in the bexleyheath area would help. As soon as I contacted the Glasshouse they couldn't of been more understanding and helpful. I ordered 2 roast lamb shank dinners and Tempura prawns to start. When my husband collected the meals the staff where wonderful even offered my husband a complimentary drink. The starters and meals where roasting hot and full to the brim. My husband and Father in Law enjoyed the food immensely. Because of the Glasshouse it made their Xmas very special together. I would like to express my gratitude to all at the Glasshouse. Dinner was ok but the environment wasn’t exciting. Restaurant was very empty during the week and service was ok.

Wow I must say came for Christmas dinner today there was 20of us and I can only give you praise fantastic service and the price was great. I will be coming more often to support a local business 👩‍💼. Well done go rest xx

Went here last night with a group of friends, just 7 of us so not lots.. pre booked paid the deposit and gave the food choices from the festive menu well in advance. Arrived at the restaurant, table was not ready for us, the waitress looked surprise to see us!! And then when she asked for our food choices we told her we had pre ordered as per their request, she went away then asked me to go round to the counter where I was told our booking had been mixed with another booking for a different date.. so had no food that we had chosen… they said order from the main menu but pay the set price… which we did. The food was not nice at all, the customer service was not good, and we were the only ones in there. They even forgot to take the deposit off the bill at the end I had to remind them and added a service charge to the bill which I had removed. All in all was a rubbish night due to the venue and the hostile customer service. I would not recommend at all to anyone.

I was one of the 7 as per the below review and I must say, the lies in your response to my friend is just adding insult to injury!! Whilst we all said we were ok/happy to order from the a-la-carte menu, mainly because we had no other choice - not one of us ‘consistently’ expressed our gratitude towards you nor was it repeatedly stated how happy were with the food or service! I would say maybe you’re getting us confused/mixed up with another table but considering the restaurant was empty I doubt that’s so! It also wasn’t hard to ‘assign’ a waitress to us as there were no other tables to wait on in the restaurant - and even though that was the case, we were still left waiting 15-20mins for drinks! No one expressed their gratitude on their way out and we certainly didn’t apologise on behalf of our friend, who wasn’t hostile and absolutely had the right to air her concerns and disappointment. I’m baffled how you can even say this was how the night ended when neither you nor your dad/manager had the decency to see us out or apologise - you hid at the back of the restaurant!! Instead you made the poor young lady waitress see us out, to whom I did say thank you and sorry to as it was not her fault & so awkward for her, she should not have been put in that position! Your attitude towards us as customers & the situation, which you created by supposedly messing up the booking, was/is quite frankly shocking. I wouldn’t come back & I wouldn’t recommend - I would advise not to lie about customers experiences though when they have so clearly had a bad one, but then I think an empty restaurant so close to Xmas says it all!!

Had a brilliant time at The Glasshouse last night with eight friends. The food was excellent - portions were a good size and very tasty - and the cocktails were amazing. The staff were attentive and so welcoming and the restaurant itself was beautiful with a warm ambience. 10/10 - would highly recommended and will be definitely be back!

I attended with nine others and the service was great our food arrived not long after ordering and was amazing they insured we had a constant flow of drinks. The manager is very friendly, he makes you feel welcome the second you step in the door, the staff are not shy to have a chat. I would recommend and I will be going back.

For locals who know the Glasshouse but don’t know it’s been under new management for a year or so, it’s time to come back. The team are highly experienced and the service we had tonight was excellent. Love having quality Italian restaurants in the ‘Heath.

Came here with me and my girlfriends family’s for a catch up meal and so glad we decided to come to the Glasshouse as we had an amazing evening of food and service. All 9 of us loved our food and it all came out together! Thank you so much for a lovely meal out and we’ll definitely be back!

Came here for the first time today with my family and had the best time! Definitely a family friendly restaurant. The staff are so attentive and eager to satisfy. From starter to dessert, everything was simply perfect. The seafood linguini was 10/10, will definitely order again. My husband ordered the fillet steak which he devoured. Overall, lovely restaurant and will be returning!

I was here with my family today to eat lunch all together. We had a fantastic time the atmosphere was great and calming, the service was impeccable, such great people and the food was as good as it gets, definitely recommend for anyone looking for an Italian restaurant.

Really enjoyed having dinnerat Glasshouse tonight. Four of us enjoyed the authentic italian dishes with nice selection of wine. The staff really friendly and served us really quick. The ambiance really inviting with its contemporaneous modern style of refurbishment and ery very clean. I would highly recommend. Glad that it's in our area.

Shocking. Filet steak was not filet steak. Plates were cold and the food came out at different times despite the restaurant being quiet. Even the soap in the toilet was watered down. Steer clear!

New management.. avoid, mussels were not cooked enough, dauphinois potatoes were disgusting, and tasted like sick!! I think the cream was off. The tiramisu tasted the same. I asked the waitress to try it as my partner thought it also tastes horrible! The waitress then asked if I was pregnant, because my taste buds might have changed… This was my favourite restaurant. But not anymore! 0 ⭐️ awful experience!!

Yesterday my family and I booked a table for 8pm we could not fault the food it was delicious, affordable and nicely presented. The service and atmosphere was exceptional we will definitely return and would highly recommend people to visit.

I had not been to this restaurant for over a year,it used to be very nice food and service,somewhere you wanted to go back to always good…tonight I visited with my daughter and it literally was like a different restaurant, place was empty which I should of took as a warning because the food I received was such a disappointment, 3 small and I mean tiny “king prawns”as a starter ..£14 and seafood linguine for mains had 4 dried out mussels and a load of rubbery obviously cooked from frozen calamari but nothing else…no prawns,clams or anything…give this place a swerve… I would not of put my comments on here if the “ manageress I spoke with took them seriously.

I booked the upstairs room for a birthday meal for 22 people. The staff couldnt have been more accomodating and the food was fab and all served at the same time. Thank you so much to Lut and all the team who made it a very special birthday lunch!

We love this little restaurant. The moment we arrived we was greeted warmly. We had pre booked, but was left to choose our own table. The food was fantastic. Be prepared for generous portions 👍🏻. We will continue to use the Glashouse as it is a lovely place.

We hired the upstairs of the Glasshouse for my Dads 70th and wedding anniversary. The team at the Glasshouse were so helpful and accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble and the staff continuously checked in with our guests to make sure they had everything they needed. The food was delicious and we enjoyed the roast dinners! All our guests had a great time - thanks again to the team for a lovely afternoon. We will be visiting again soon!

Came here with some friends on Saturday for a meal before heading up town, located in a perfect area to be able to do this! Food was lovely & the staff were extremely attentive & friendly! Thank you, we will definitely be back!

Booked this for a birthday confirmed by restaurant and when I turned up restaurant was closed. Reckoned didn’t check booking time when booked , apologised but nothing further. Be careful when booking

Sunday Lunch restaurant was empty we were the only people in there. We couldn’t understand why. It soon become clear when our food arrived. The meat on the plate was heated in gravy. The beef was very tough.The potatoes what they called roast. I think we will stick to the Carvery in future..We were charged £30 what a waste of money. No wonder the place was empty.

Booked here for my birthday meal last night with my partner and parents after hearing really great things. We all ordered something different and we were not left disappointed. The food was unbelievably good and service was impeccable. My Dad, not being one to usually give out compliments at restaurants too often could not have spoke its praises highly enough. I had the beef stroganoff and I could not recommend enough, so rich in flavour and large portions that I was disappointed I couldn't actually finish! Nothing was too much for the staff and the atmosphere of the evening was so calming and enjoyable. I look forward to coming back and trying something new on the menu. The new management have been really fantastic, do not hesitate to book here.

Came here with my friends a week ago and I can't stop thinking about the meal I had (Fritto misto starter and tagliatelle gamberoni main) - absolutely delicious! The new management made us feel so welcome, wish them the best!

Can I just say WOOW! The service in Glasshouse is unmatched. The staff truly cares about your experience. The food and dessert is absolutely amazing. We ordered Steak, Pizzas and the dauphinois potatoes, as well as tiramisu for dessert and they were all mouth watering. We will definitely be back for the amazing service and the amazing full flavoured and enjoyable food!!

Had my baby shower here and had amazing service from start to finish. Waiter/ waitresses were so attentive and even took part in some of the games. Food was great and would honestly recommend to anyone that wants a private dining experience or is hosting a birthday meal! Absolutely great.

Was here as a family for our grandparents 60th wedding anniversary. The staff made us feel extremely welcome and were very entertaining! Service was great, even with 11 of us! And couldn’t fault the food. 10/10 would be back 👍🏻 Thank you very much.

Had a meal at The Glasshouse this evening, as my wife and I were celebrating our wedding anniversary. We discovered that the restaurant had recently come under new management but we weren't disappointed. The food couldn't be faulted... every course was delicious! It was a welcome and worthy treat for an evening out.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I would avoid this place like the plague. Our booking was at 7:30pm and was for my wife’s 31st Birthday. The service was very poor, my nan’s mobility scooter moves faster than the waitresses. We waited for ages for the staff to take our orders and when they did they didn’t have a clue about the menu. We also waited nearly 45 minutes for drinks. There was no matter of urgency, poor customer service We managed to book a table at Miller and Carter Bexleyheath and the service was 5 star.

Fantastic food and hospitality. We had our child’s christening party there and the team looked after us brilliantly. Very organised. Our guests were very impressed with the cuisine. We would go again.

After a bad previous experience we decided to give the place another try. It's now under new management. Thank you for a lovely meal and great service. The truffle chips are amazing.

Just sat down and was asked what we wanted to drink, thought I would have a few minutes to get settled first. It's very expensive £3 for a profiterole, the decor doesn't justify the prices. Food is good but not too much of it

I was quite disappointed with the services I received at this restaurant. My self and my husband are quite Jew to this area but we tend to see that the people from within this area are quite racist. My husband booked a table. Upon arrival, the waiter asks if we have booked we confirm, she walks off without telling us anything so I assume I’m meant to follow then I realise she was walking to the manager. So I had to stop. The manager then comes back to ask whether we booked, doesn’t ask what our names are to confirm the booking. Suddenly looked like there were no table for us. So he places us in the putter glass area by the door, a space that was very tight when he knew we arrived with our 10 month old child in a car seat so we won’t fit and we can’t be by the cold. We were offered a wine menu and we asked if they had cocktail as we don’t drink alcohol, waiter asked the manager to see us. So managers comes and ask another waiter to remove all the wine glasses from the table. It’s not the fact that it was done, it was the tone used when he asked. It was like we were annoying. We ordered our food because it’s Valentine’s Day and we don’t want to spoil our night. I ordered Lamb shank, lamb shank arrived bony no meat around it. Wish I took photos. My daughter was behaving like any 10 month old bby and they made me feel very uncomfortable. We then asked for a bill. What I liked was that they gave roses to every couple, when it got to my turn, they left me out. So I asked if we didn’t qualify for it. She said this is what sad handed to her by the manager. She returned to the manager and I saw him making hand gestures as though he refused. Eventually the waiter came with a rose. I felt like I had forced to have a rose So I asked my husband not to pay for the discretionary service charge as they didn’t deserve. When we refused manager came demanding saying it was staff salary and it was stated that you had to pay, I said no because it’s said discretionary on the menu meaning choice. He shouted at me and said I won’t argue with you. And walked off. We booked our cab and left. Completely rude and out of order. This is why you don’t see black people at these functions. Who wants to be treated in such manner. I will not be going back and wouldn’t recommend. It’s so easy to see their behaviour. Look at how they’ve even ignored my review but replied everyone else. I guess I don’t need to say much

Great Restaurant, nice and friendly and helpful staff

Quarterly we have a family meal, taking turns in choosing where to eat. Our turn we took a risk and chose the glasshouse. So very glad we did. Lovely unhurried restaurant, pleasant ambiance and fantastic food. Our waiter made the evening, understated dry and funny. All in all a great night out.

Normally a good restaurant but ended up walking out Christmas day due to poor service and when I went to talk to the owner he was quite aggressive towards me, I understand he was under a lot of pressure but as a regular customer was upset and disgusted as to the way he spoke to me. My family Christmas was ruined and we left after the starters

Normally a lovely place to eat, but yesterday we walked out in disgust due to lack of organisation and rudeness of the Owner. We had to wait outside in the cold with my mother in law who has cancer, as the first sitting guests refused to leave on time, some people for up to an hour, tables hadn't been cleared, then waited for drinks. Disgusting. Won't be going back.

Never been so disappointed over my visit to this restaurant. We were a party of eight booked for 3.30pm today Christmas Day. We were asked to wait outside for one hour in the freezing cold . Then someone else was sitting at what should have been our table they had to move having already handled cutlery etc and pulled crackers ,management were not happy when we asked to replace with new cutlery etc. We were sitted by an door which was continually left open with many people still wait over two hours to be sitted. Having been seated we had to wait ages for our starters, which were preordered eventually they arrived but not all at once had to wait ages for the complete order. Many people were arguing all around us owing to there being no tables for them . We waited and waited and no main courses arrived,pre ordered again.After complaining and many more customers were fed up with the wait we were told the main course was just coming,it never arrived after another 30 minutes,so we got up and left and to be honest the management could not have cared less. Spoilt our very special family Christmas Dinner. We had all travelled a long way to be together at the recommended restaurant what a disaster. We had also all paid 20 each deposit. When we left there were still families waiting outside in the cold to be seated,some had been told they would have to wait maybe up to two hours. Now rustling up a sandwich.

This was our 2nd time coming here (Nov 18) and the staff remembered us! Food was excellent once again. Eric & the staff service was exceptional. They looked after us throughout the evening and I highly recommend this place.

Visited yesterday evening and from the start the service was awful. Waited far too long for drinks and menus to ne given. The owner was quite frankly rude and unhelpful. When asked what the specials were he said you will be told in a minute....

Lovely evening, great service, great food. Had scallops wrapped in parma ham for starter and lamb shank for mains. Both perfectly cooked and tasteful! Will definitely be reccomending and coming back!
