Giuseppes Lite in Worthing

An incredible Italian restaurant - great food (the pastas were delicious, homemade burger breads and burgers to die for, and homemade gelato was exquisite), wonderfully attentive service, and the team could not do enough for our children! Cannot wait to return to Worthing and G-Lite for another super meal!! Highly recommend.

I had gelato and Earl Grey tea. Both were so very good. Im not a coffee drinker and its rare that I enjoy tea when Im out. This was awesome.

I was lucky enough to win a competition on the Worthing and Adur Food and Drink group for 2 free pizzas at G-Lite & so my father & I went for dinner. From the moment we walked in & throughout our meal we were greeted & spoken to in a really warm, polite & welcoming manner by both Francesco and Andrea - they're both very attentive, friendly & really pleasant to deal with. Both of them constantly had a smile on their faces & it created a really nice atmosphere in the restaurant. They have a huge selection of pizzas & they all sounded delicious, so it was difficult to choose! They have four different vegan ones too, which is great to see that vegans have a few options to choose from. We had the Truffle & Porchini pizza & the Four Cheese pizza - they were both absolutely delicious! Definitely the best pizza we've ever had; you can tell it's freshly made. Both pizzas were thin, crispy & had so much flavour. For dessert I had the chocolate & Hazelnut cream Cannelloni which was to die for! The pastry was lovely & crispy & the filling was so rich. My father had the Tiramisu & that was really tasty too. Both desserts were presented beautifully as well. The restaurant has a lovely display of ice creams/gelato & delicious looking cakes which looked irresistible, so we brought home a slice each of the Lemon & Blueberry cake & the Kinder Cookie cake. Both slices were a very generous portion. My father loved the Lemon & Blueberry cake & I really enjoyed the Kinder Cookie cake! It was devine - it had a nice crispy edge but it was still gooey in the middle; it was absolutely delicious! We both agreed we had the best meal we've had for a long time & highly recommend here - not just for the food, but for the lovely service as well. Thank you G-Lite for the lovely meal!

Delicious lunch as always. We love the fresh handmade pizzas, Sicilian Hotdogs and Gelato plus the coffee is soo good. And if I say where do you want to go to my family they always say G-lite! The staff are super friendly, so good with kids and nothing is ever a problem. Hands down a favourite for us.

Absolutely the best coffee I've ever had, hands down. You definitely need to try their cappuccino, it's to die for! The food is excellent also; I've only had the bolognese aranchini ball and a pasta dish, but both were beyond tasty. 11/10 you need to go here asap!

Excellent lunch.i have eaten many. Caesar salads but this was the best ever just perfect amount of sauce lots of crispy bacon croutons and chicken.my husband had Nina's meatballs new to the menu he said delicious flavour only one complaint haha he couldn't finish it all as such large portion.we shall return soon thank you.p.s.lovely lady serving us.

Fantastic food. We had the Americano burger for him, he said it was amazing and veggie burger for me, so delicious and so filling didn't need the chips that I ordered but of course found room for the awesome skin on fries ! Will order again as soon as I have room. Thanks G lite.

I ordered a pizza and some other items to be delivered via deliveroo. When the pizza arrived it had all slid to one side of the box. It was disgusting. I called Giuseppe's Lite as I was not accepting the pizza like this. I first got a young lady on the phone who told me I called the wrong nr, which was a lie. After double checking the nr I called again and miracle of miracles they found my order! When I told them what had happened and that I was requesting a refund I was told I had to contact Deliveroo for this. I had requested a refund for the WHOLE order as the state of the pizza put me right off. Giuseppe's Lite has great food but the customer service is really bad! I was told to contact Deliveroo for the refund and while I was asking why I was passed onto an older lady who would not 3even listen to me. She spoke over me and was very rude! This is not how you talk to customers! I used to order all the time from Giuseppe's but this really bad experience of your customer service and lying has put me right off. Good luck to you....no idea what happend. Maybe management has changed but this service is really bad and I will not be ordering from Giuseppe's again.

We had a lovely time at the terrace. The pizzas were delicious, thin dough and very ouffy on the sides. Toppings were top quality.

A fantastic meal for 2 in one of Worthing’s best restaurants. Being opposite Ask and pizza express means you need to stand out and G Lite certainly does. Heads and shoulders above them both. Very reasonable prices and a very varied menu. Will be back very soon! Thank you!

Actually a really pleasant dinner sitting outside. Service was friendly and attentive. I was a little worried at such a large menu but the food was tasty, freshly cooked and promptly delivered. Price was reasonable, will definitely return.

Have started coming here with my daughter and my own parents - we initially started coming for the ice cream (which is exceptional) but today we had some pizza and Arancini. It’s really, really great - super food - and really reasonably prices. The staff are consistently excellent, warm and welcoming - it’s probably going to become a Saturday ritual. Can’t recommend enough - superb.

Stumbled across this place whilst trying to find somewhere for a late lunch after spending the afternoon walking along the promenade. It is situated in a nice little pedestrianised part of Worthing town centre, so is a 5 minute walk from the front. Service was welcoming and friendly from the outset, and we took a table outside, great place to people watch. Unfortunately we did not see the seagull until it landed on the table and took my daughters hotdog! The waitress and manager were great, and replaced the hot dog, which they did not need to do! The rest of the food was unmolested, and I strongly recommend the pizza here. The crust was so light and tasty, with plenty of toppings and cheaper than chains like pizza express - so much nicer too. We were so glad we came here and will definitely return for a meal when in Worthing again. Just be vigilant against the seagulls - they sit on the shop canopies and wait for an opportunity!!

The restaurant has limited seating inside but plenty of seating outside with heaters. All authentic quality food,🍕 with the Italian attitude of eating healthy and well, you won't walk (or should I say waddle) away hungry. Plenty of choices on the menu, pizza🍕, pasta, salad 🥗and specials all home made. The truffle oil is amazing, along with the parmasan chips, the truffle arachini bursting with flavour. We were so full we had to take pizza home. They also serve Gelato ice cream 🍦in cones or tubs, which you do as a takeaway - not just for kids 😋 Really great place to try for lunch or a casual dinner.

This is the lite version of Guiseppe's main restaurant which is down a nearby alley. G-lite serves pizza, pasta and gelato and is open all day. There are some indoor seats but most are outdoors in the pedestrianised Warwick Street where it is one of the better eating venues. There are some deli items for sale and it is also good just as a coffee stop.

We are so lucky to be able to enjoy authentic Italian Ice-cream in Worthing. The difficulty is choosing which flavour to go for ...they all sound amazing. I can recommend the vanilla, coffee, tiramusu and kinder. Can't wait to try the rest

Oh my! What a gem! Between us, a party of 5, we had pizza, 3 different pasta dishes, and the truffle burger with sweet potatoes and every single dish was delicious! Great little Italian. I love the outside seating when the weather is good. Friends have always recommended G-Lite. For me its fresh made sides, a few drinks and watching the world go past while alone or shared with friends.

Pasta al dente, proper espresso. When summer comes, go for an affogato or a granita. Staff are firm but friendly, no going off menu or messing about here, but a good selection of dishes carefully done. Cheap, too.

This is basically about a pizza I had delivered . I’m not sure what happened but it arrived within ten minutes of ordering it quicker than I could imagine being able to make it It was doughy barely cooked abs the extras I had asked for were on the top uncooked . Raw onion and raw pepperoni and wasn’t cheap so didn’t enjoy that at all

Would drive hours to eat here! Aubergine parmesean exceeded expectations along with the spaghetti milanese. Set in a charming location you can see the passion that goes into preparing the food if you sit inside. The pizzas have a crust I haven't seen or tasted before. To die for!

I visited this restaurant as it was advertised as in Facebook The advert was very glitzy so I gave it a go. That is where the glitz ended.The pizza the meat selection looked great but when I tried to pick up the poorly cut slice the whole topping fell back into the box!! The base was not soggy it was soaking wet. The shop bought processed ham and pepperoni were like eating blockes of salt and the sausage pices were like tasteless cardboard....THIS WAS THE MOST DISAPPOINTING AND DISGUSTING PIZZA I HAVE EVER HAD.THE TOMATO AVOCADO AND MOZZARELLA SALAD I HAD WAS OILY.And I forced 1 and a half slices down before feeding it to the local seagulls! £16 FOR BOTH DISHES AND I DROVE OVER FROM BRIGHTON FOR IT.NEVER EVER AGAIN!!!!

Sadly bad experience, we ordered a vegan pizza, they messed up the order with regular cheese. I said I was not happy paying for it and I was happy to go home and leave it, but they insisted we take the vegan pizza they were cooking home in a box as they felt bad (me thinking they would offer a refund as it was theire mistake), pointless as we live a 20 min walk away so it is now cold and soggy. So they offer us free sorbet which we hadn't ordered and still made us pay for the pizza, should of been an automatic refund? but it wasn't, they said "well we can refund it if you really want us too" so they clearly didn't want to and not a genuine offer at all and said we could have it free next time, makes no sense as we are now not keen to go back? If you mess up, own it and offer the refund straight away, especially as it was my partner's birthday and ruined our lunch. Do not make the customer beg for it! Just awkward.

Weeknight takeaway pizza. Delivered on time and the pizza was very tasty. Also had a side of chips and some mozzarella bites which was definitely enough for two people. Yummy!

My friends have often had coffee and a pastry here. So, we decided to have lunch here to celebrate my birthday. The food was absolutely delicious - anancino, followed by a Sicilian pasta, and then delicious cannoli. Everything was freshly cooked and tasty. The chilled Prosecco Rose was a perfect match for the food, sunshine and atmosphere. We weren't rushed in our meal, and our waitress was attentive without being pushy. I would definitely return here again the next time I'm in Worthing.

early evening stroll and we fancied a bite ,now i had a bit of a on off affair with there main place but pulled up here and had a pizza , lovely light and tasty best ive had in a while ,J had some chicken dish which she remarked was great as well , desert or not, well after the way the italian waiter described the homemade chocolate cake and ferro rochio ice cream to go with , i thought she was going to orgasm on the spot ,me i settled for the lemon n cherry with a nice scoop of good old vanilla
