Awful, they had run out of many of the options, the drive thru collection wasn't ready so we got sent to the car park. Won't go again

Food is exactly what you expect from a KFC. Only marked them down as two of their seals service machines were not working

It was clean, the service was fast, the chips were hot. Impressed.

Food was so nice and fresh. Loved the seasoning on the chips. Food was also ready very fast. Staff were very nice and helpful would recommend.

It's ok for a snack if traveling

Burger was cold, and it was slapped together. They would have been as well as not putting lettuce on it as it has 3 tiny bits that didn't even cover ¼ of the bun. The chips were lukewarm, and so was the popcorn chicken. The mini fillet was a bit warmer but still not hot. Thank god for the gravy as it was the only hot thing in it. There was no excuse for the bad service or food as we were the only people in it. They would rather stand around and talk than do their job good and proper. They couldn't even keep the napkins and salt stocked and weren't happy when i asked for some. I dread to think how bad the food and service would be if it was busy. I will never return to this outet

Best KFC I’ve ever had, press the pay and order on machine and foods ready the guys deserve a pay rise

I have been to the store a few times to pick up orders. I have ordered on their app and also just order food in store both times it’s been pretty straightforward no hassle whatsoever. Staff are friendly and polite. The only one negative. I would say is that sometimes they don’t always have a few things on their menu which can be quite disappointing if you’re going in there for a certain item.

customer service bad. employees are standing and talking among themselves and the tables are dirty, left by previous customers. No soap in the toilets.

Haven't been here for awhile, it's changed a lot. New extension with more seating. Menu is a lot better now.

Chicken was so fresh and tender it was practically still moving whooo

Service was OK. The servers seemed in a daze, asking every question more than once. The food was very greasy. Disabled toilets smelt very bad, the door was hard to close, and didn't lock. A kid was sick, workers walked past it a few times, just left it. After approx 1/2 hr, and speaking to workers, it eventually got cleaned up.

I've never tried dine in here but they have the most efficient drive thru process! I love how you can just order what you want from the app and select drive thru for the collection, and just go whenever you're ready and you'll have your food in no time! Super efficient!

14 piece of Bucket was packed with 14 of legs pieces why? Just because it takeaway do you think customers will come back if you give this kind of service

I visited this KFC branch when it opened. The Colleague was very friendly and helpful and I ordered Three meals of different varieties. Everything was cooked perfectly and tasted great. I didn't need to wait long either The restaurant was very clean and tidy and looked like a great place to sit and eat. The other Colleagues in the back sounded very cheerful too. I would recommend this KFC.

Best KFC about, My go to when I feel sad and it makes me feel happy. Staff always welcoming and non judgmental when I order half the menu. Would recommend to anyone! I don't know why but this KFC is the best I've tried in Scotland for the food. Always fresh and has a clean vibe inside which makes me feel welcomed.

First time there, better than expected

Visitamos la tarde del domingo de Pascua, mi amigo y yo buscábamos en el patio de comidas de Union Mall un lugar que todavía sirviera brunch (a las 2 pm) y esta fue la única opción que pudimos encontrar. Prácticamente desiertos cuando llegamos, con otras dos mesas acabando de terminar, eso debería haber sido una advertencia en sí misma, ya que muchos de los otros puntos de venta estaban bastante saturados. Tuve Huevos Rancheros y mi amigo el desayuno vegetariano. Tomó un infierno de mucho tiempo en llegar, dado que para ese entonces éramos los únicos clientes y (extrañamente) la comida estaba tibia. El mío era horrible: huevos revueltos recocidos, chorizo, trozos de aguacate, frijoles negros (directamente de una lata y sin agregar sabor adicional) y algo que creo que estaba destinado a ser salsa, pero básicamente era solo tomates picados. Todo servido en una tortilla "blanda" de rápido endurecimiento que sospecho que se había cocinado en el microondas. Al abrirme paso a través de esto, descubrí una hoja de papel a prueba de grasa debajo. Sinceramente, no sé si quieren servirlo de esta manera. El desayuno vegetariano de mi amiga era igualmente atractivo, y tampoco parecía que lo estuviera disfrutando mucho. Cada plato cuesta 8. 95 y no vale la mitad de eso. Esta cadena está en problemas financieros y si el resto del menú es tan malo, no estoy en absoluto sorprendido. Es sólo una buena clasificación de estrellas para la buena limonada que sirven y el personal amable y servicial.

Visited for Mother’s Day and were pleasantly surprised how quickly we were served as this has been a problem in the past. However the food when delivered was lukewarm and just barely acceptable. I had vouchers from a previous complaint and felt I shouldn’t make a fuss. But I feel this may be our last visit although the brunch menu suits our taste.

Food was poor. Had the ultimate giraffe burger and was bland and over cooked. How can a chef overcook two small beef patties? I could of cooked a better meal at home

We had a couple of salads , prob the most expensive plate of spinach leaves and a few straggles of beetroot beans and broccoli you can buy , poor .

Good selection of food. The tapas we ordered were well cooked and nicely presented. The service was ok, more staff than required for the customers. Atmosphere was poor, the restaurant was very quiet for late afternoon/early evening on a Saturday.

Very comfortable, clean and pleasing decor.Food absolutely delicious and so perfectly prepared - 10 out of 10 to the kitchen.We had prawn, mango and chicken salad, the halloumi Turkish pide and a child’s fish fingers and fries.Couldn’t fault the food . Sauvignon Blanc delicious but big bulbous glasses not pleasant to drink from.Waiting staff were non descript and not enough of them. They never came to the table to ask if you wanted anything - rather I had to literary shout across the floor on 3 occasions to ask them to come to our table . If service had been attentive it would have been a 5 out of 5 rather than a four out of five.Despite that definitely will be back as the food was first class.

I was out for lunch with my grandma yesterday. We went into giraffe around 12:30 and it wasn’t busy. The waitress took over 10 minutes to finally come over to us to ask us if you had ordered drinks, so since it took so long we took the opportunity to order our food at the same time. Food took quite a while to come considering it wasn’t busy, however food was nice. Once finished our empty plates sat in front of us for another 15 minutes, waitress walked past but never cleared our completely empty plates. Two men beside us also sat with empty plates for at least 30 minutes. Eventually I went up to the bar, where all 3 members of staff were standing chatting, not doing anything. I asked for a coffee menu and to get our plates cleared. The waitress looked annoyed at me for asking. We ordered coffees and one wasn’t very hot. The men beside us also to ask to get their empty plates cleared. We ended up being there for 2 hours with all the waiting. Staff did stand about doing nothing for the majority of the shift!!!!So if you’re wanting a quick meal don’t go there.

I have Cerebral Palsy, which means I am wheelchair-bound & cannot go out as regularly as I would like. I decided to go to Giraffe for a change! I had a great time, and had great food. Most importantly, I was amazed by how supportive and nice the staff were. In particular, a waitress by the name of Nikki Sewter was very kind. As a disabled person, that sort of attentiveness is very much appreciated!! Go Giraffe!!!

Visited for brunch and eventually ordered despite being seated beside the till. food took over 20 minutes to come to the table. Not the first time service has been slow. Staff very grumpy and not at all attentive. Boss man was worst of all. Food was excellent and that's the only reason we go back! Certainly not for the staff interaction!

Came in for lunch. Interesting and varied menu. Opted for a salad and a Turkish pide. It took ages for food to arrive, but our waiter apologised profusely and reduced the bill, so we left pretty happy. Food was ok and just the right amount.

Very disappointing experience- went here for my nephew’s 4th birthday and really wished we hadn’t. Only 12 customers in the restaurant (including ourselves) and 5 staff and yet we struggled to get served.

I went here for food as I decided I wanted to try something different and I'm glad I did, I had the Lamb Tagine which was wonderful, I also had the Gingerbread Cheesecake, this was on Saturday 8th December, I was also impressed with the staff who were all polite and friendly, I would definitely come again or treat my parents to a meal here

This is one of those 'chain eateries' and not at the high end either, get them in throw anything at them and get them out again type of place. A good serving of a 'pizza' type of dish but really served in a cold metal platter which very quickly chilled the meal, not good. The non-alcoholic drinks were served in medium sized glasses with too much ice and cost an arm and leg

Went here with partner, his mum and our baby for lunch. Food was pretty good, service was absolutely shocking. Waitress acted like she didn’t want to be there and kept on walking off before we had finished talking to her. When we asked for the bill, we handed over cash, only to be told that they had no change at all- as everyone that morning had paid by card! We said we did not have any change and were met with a blank look. Place was extremely noisy with lots of children - presumably due to the kids eat free promotion. Would go back again perhaps as I did enjoy the food, but not on a Saturday lunchtime - felt like I had gone to a McDonald’s with all the kids running around..

My boyfriend and I visited here for a quick late night meal. The restaurant was fairly quiet although the staff made us feel very welcome. Our meals were lovely and service was great! We will definitely be stopping by again.

Great food on a Friday evening , but after main course the staff forgot about us. Waited ages for desert menu but all in all a good evening. The fact there was a table of 14 who arrived at same time as us probably didn't help.

I am a fan of the Giraffe franchise. The menu is varied, food is always great. The chicken flat bread pizza was really good. Staff were friendly. Service was reasonable.

Me and my daughter went on Saturday and were pleasantly surprised! We found something she could eat and I have lamb tagine for the first time. Amazing - delicious! Staff were lovely and then I was told kids ate free that day! Wow!

He estado aquí para desayunar un par de veces porque la comida es muy buena, no por el servicio. Cada vez que (al menos 8) venimos para el desayuno, planeamos no tener prisa. El servicio fue y sigue siendo decepcionante, recepción lenta, pedido lento, entrega lenta, no cubiertos en la mesa, nadie que pida otros artículos y para colmo todo lo único que fue rápido fue cuando la persona de servicio usó mi tarjeta sin contacto. Incluso preguntando si podía. . . . . eso está fuera de orden. . . . Definitivamente pedí un recibo. . . . . Odio los pagos sin contacto! ! ! ! ! ! La comida sigue siendo buena. . . . servicio pobre . . se requiere más personal

The restaurant seems to be a food chain and that's something you can taste while eating their food from all over the world. The cocktail however was quite nice.

Lunch with friends and kids. Food was great, the veggie burrito was nice, superfood salad very fresh. Kids meals are good quality and very reasonable price.

As always the food was great here. We popped in for a quick lunch but with only two staff front of house and a busy restaurant the service was really slow. The staff were great but rushed off their feet. A service charge was added to our bill too which was unexpected.

Had lunch with my father here today. All staff were very friendly and attentive. The food was tasty also. I would recommend the Kati Roll. All at a very reasonable price.

Nachos to start they were spicy we had with chicken cost an extra £2.00 .. 6 small pieces.. good though.. classic burger was a wee bit greasy the fries were ok. Friend ordered the Malay curry which was delicious..

Treated by partner to my birthday meal in here, as it was an eaterie we'd never been to , but had heard good things about. Really liked the lively visual decor, and old-fashioned booths, and were warmly welcomed by very personable and pleasant staff.

My friend and I went for an evening meal at the union square branch, lovely atmosphere, fantastic food, great staff especially from Dunc who introduced himself and provided great service, all round great meal. Thanks again Dunc!

My friends and I wanted to have dinner close to the bus station last night. We couldn't decide what kind of food we wanted, so the Giraffe was perfect. They have just about every kind of ethnic cuisine you can imagine. I shared nachos, and our other friend had a burrito. The nachos were close to what we're used to in America. The idea of Mexican in the UK is a bit different, so I was happy to have a little taste of home. Service was friendly and efficient. We will be back for sure.

The food was reasonably nice but some aspects of the meal were inconsistent: the burgers were good but the sweet potato fries were cold and the brownie for dessert was gritty. Service was fast. This was a good value meal out as we had a discount voucher from shopping at Fat Face in the same centre. It would have felt too pricey without it.

Saturday afternoon meal for three, place was barely half full. Never eaten here before but thought menu looked interesting so worth a try.

Food wasn't great, wine awful. One of the meals wasn't cooked at all and ended up getting the manager, who then didn't charge us for the meal, which was the only positive. Won't be returning.

Myself and 2 friends visited in march we were in the city for a concert and went for a late lunch service was very quick and friendly. We had to wait about 25 min for our meal but was fine as we weren't in a hurry and it was full being a Saturday afternoon and was worth it as the food was beautiful, will Def be returning if we are back in Aberdeen as food and drink was very good value for money also we had a vegetarian in our group and she did not stuggle for options as she has in a lot of places before.

Table of 4 and a toddler. Chose Giraffe as it seems pleasant and relaxed. The service was lacking and the food was terrible and poorly presented.

Sunday lunch which was fairly forgettable. Opted for the San Fran Super Salad with Chicken, which despite not being in the list of ingredients on the menu consisted mainly of long stem broccoli. Remaining ingredients were tasteless at best. Salad was screaming for a good dressing rather than what I can only assume was a little oil. Additional chicken was a very dry piece of chicken again with no flavour.

A great Sunday breakfast treat at Giraffe. Good value for money. A tasty veggie brunch complete with a smoothie

Went in for early supper and was very pleased with service and quality of the food. Staff friendly and helpful. Know how to cook a rare steak, which some restaurants don’t. Never had a bad meal in there yet and have been going there since it opened. Staff always been helpful and willing to be flexible with the menu. Always recommend it to family and friends.

I don't usually write reviews but I would like to warn other diners away from the Aberdeen Union Square chain. My partner and I visited here on Sunday the 3rd of February for lunch. First impressions weren’t great; staff lacked professionalism, one waiter was just standing staring at his phone whilst others fooled around like overgrown children. When it was finally time to order our drinks my partner asked for a sauvignon blanc, the waiter returned with the glass of wine and said it was Chardonnay. As that wasn’t the drink ordered we told the waiter that the drink was not ordered and at this point we heard sniggering from behind the bar. As it turns out the bar staff had deliberately told the waiter the wrong drink order, but had the correct drink served, funny right? Not for us. However, this was laughed off by the staff, leaving us confused and quite annoyed. We shrugged it off and tried not to take notice as we wanted a nice meal. Our experience probably hit the biggest low point when we were waiting for the bill. A waitress from behind the bar thought it would be funny to flick water off her straw at a waiter, however it missed him and my partner was showered in droplet of liquid from her straw. Although the bar staff clearly noticed there no apology made and they continued to fool around. We both left here feeling bewildered and disappointed. We won’t be returning and if you want a decent meal served by mature adults then I would try elsewhere.

Went there on January 2nd, for lunch with my kids and another family with 3 kids, after the movies (2pm). We ordered the burgers and chips for the kids and grown ups burger and couple of other options from the menu. It took them an hour to finally come out and let us know they had run out of buns and had sent someone to get them from the local shop... which it took another hour before we were served. 2 1/2 hours at the table wasn't enjoyable when were all starving (that includes the 20min waiting to be seated, even though we couldsee there was a table available). Afterpaying our bill and complaining about the service and how slow it was, the only answer I got wasthat it was a big table and they weren't used to it! Really? 3 adults and 5 kids? What a joke! The placewasn't even full!

I was disappointed recently at this restaurant. The chicken we ordered was under cooked. We complained and it was put in a microwave to heat it. However, it was still undercooked when it came back.

After formerly Tesco owned restaurant was sold, we thought we’d try it. A good choice of international meals, but prefer happier smiley staff (most likely employers fault but you never know...)!

New breakfast menu has removed all the good items. Service can be very slow over breakfast as very few staff members in.
