Lovely brunch Turkish Eggs for me and Full English for him!!

Great food, just always a wait for food which makes it hard to go in my lunch break!

Lovely little cosy place very polite and friendly staff.

Full English took over half hour to come to the table. Chef was well relaxed on the phone. Two girls serving were wonderful.

Lovely place , food is delicious with good vegi options! Waitress was really nice and even held a baby while mum went to the toilet . Very kid friendly.

Love the Ginger Frog, always a freindly smile with good service. The food always comes fresh and tastes delicious. My favourite is the avocado toast with cherry tomatoes, chilli flakes, feta on sourdough bread. I also have two cheeky slices of crispy bacon on top. YUMMY! If you very hungry you could always go with The Full Frog.

Cool vibe and service. Vegan options were not good at all. Overpriced with no real substance. They for example give toast with the vegan breakfast but don't have vegan butter to go with it...

Perfect spot for brunch. I've been visiting here for years and it's very hard to beat. Independent & family run, everyone is friendly and welcoming. It's always bustling and it's a really cosy spot to relax & catch up. The brunch menu serves all the classics you'd expect and the food is always consistently delicious. Highly recommend the French Toast if you have a bit of a sweet tooth!

I booked the venue for my 40th birthday party, I had the best night ever. Great atmosphere, lovely location and yummy food. Would highly recommend.

Waited 45 minutes for eggs and toast to be served. Coffee wasn’t very strong and the toast was cold. One of the waitresses kept wiping her nose repeatedly before going to fetch food orders, which was quite off-putting and probably unhygienic. £10 for eggs these days isn’t unheard of, but we won’t be coming back.

I visited a few times on Friday with my friend, and I must say I was pleasantly surprised by the vegetarian choices, despite being a meat lover. We savored a delightful vegetarian breakfast, and on another visit, we had the eggs with yogurt and halloumi cheese. My flat white with coconut milk was exceptionally tasty. The service was good, even though the place was busy at 12 pm. We're definitely planning to return and explore more items on the menu. 😋 Thanks!

I am autistic and had a meltdown just before arriving here with my two children. I was in tears head in hands struggling to cope. Carol came to our table brought me a coffee gave me a hug and was so lovely that I was able to leave with my head held high and dignity intact. Our waitress Grace was phenomenal, really attentive and super friendly. The food was great but I would literally come back just to chat to our lovely waitress. Whilst we were here she was really sweet to a customer with SEN! I would definitely come back and I think Grace deserves a huge raise!! Very tasty, a simple breakfast item made very well with lovely fresh ingredients. My second dish, a complete treat... The Cinnamon French Toast with Streaky Bacon and Syrup. PHENOMENAL! Up there with the best French Toast I've ever eaten. The bacon was cooked perfectly just bordering on crispy. Perfectly cooked, perfectly flavoured. My only complaint is I'll have to travel 100 miles to come back again.

I am updating my review as unfortunately this place has gone down hill. The prices have sky rocketed and when I received an egg where the white clearly wasn't cooked, they only offered to discount my coffee. I would have preferred the offer of a properly cooked egg. I am leaving my previous review below in the hope that they can get back to this, but for now they have lost 5 customers. Have been wanting to go here for ages. Went today, so good! Not a huge menu but I think that's perfect. Still toom us agea to decide and got food envy of other peoples food. Food was freshly made, tasted so lovely. Staff were helpful and polite to, they also told us an evening menu, of which we has a look at and will be booking to go for dinner soon. Definitely going back and definitely recommend!

Wow, what a discovery this cute eatery is. It's not easy to get poached eggs on the Monday but the chef did. Oozing and warm . Note the yummy sausages in the background. It's a must for anyone wanting to enjoy brekkie.

The staff is lovely, the breakfast was delicious (specially the scrambled egg on toast) and for the price we paid this was really good quality, will definitely go again, hopefully with my wife.

We had the themed 'Love Potion' cocktail, as well as the iconic 'Ginger Frogtail' cocktail - both amazing. The Charcuterie Board really hit the spot - cooked meats, olives, chutney, cheese, with fresh bread and crackers! YUM! Our Baked Rosemary & Garlic Camembert with a twisted pastry to dip was the best part. Customer service and atmosphere was perfect, very relaxed, cosy and classy!

I can’t rave about the evening menu enough. We ordered 6 small plates between 2: confit duck, onglette steak, roast potatoes with chicken jus, green beans with mange tout harissa chickpeas and aubergine and the bread bag. Nothing disappointed. Service was perfect, attentive but not intrusive, friendly but not familiar. The wine was delicious (Sangiovese) but the food was stand out. We pride ourselves on only spending money where it’s deserved and boy, was this an enjoyable meal. We were blown away by the flavours and the combinations of the small plates menu meaning you couldn’t go wrong with any order combination. It is clear that heart and soul goes into the menu and the execution of the dishes. We were lucky enough to meet the owner there with her family, doing one of her regular taste tests of the menu for quality assurance. If that doesn’t inspire confidence in the love and care that goes into this venue then nothing will. If I sound excited, it’s because I am. I live a stones throw away from it and had no idea how good the evening menu was. This place is such a hidden gem. I can’t wait to go back.
