My wife and I were in the area visiting family, our Daughter had a baby, we were staying at Willow Court and this place is just around the corner, fantastic find, excellent value for a full English breakfast and tea, lovely friendly staff, an asset to the area, we will be back when we next visit!

Yet another amazing breakfast on a Saturday morning. Great value for money and the best ingredients, best sausages, bacon and eggs I’ve had on a full English. Lovely friendly staff and the owners can’t do enough to make you feel welcome. A+++++

Monday off work and set ourselves up with a large breakfast at Gilly's. Food was spot on, excellent prices and staff were welcoming and friendly. This was a first time visit for us and we will definitely be back.

I came to Gilly’s for a hangover cure and it did not disappoint. Best breakfast in Leicester! Tasty sausages, hash browns were lovely and crispy & the eggs were perfectly flipped. Super friendly staff & great atmosphere. Will be returning :)

Having heard alot about this cafe i thought i would see what it was all about. I certainly wasn't disappointed from start to finish, greeted with a warm and friendly welcome from a very happy down to earth staff. Made such a fuss of my children couldn't do enough. Food was really hot and delicious great choice on the menu something for everyone. I now visit twice a week without fail .

Always a pleasure every single time. Food is fresh, staff are friendly and the rustic decor is beautiful! Outdoor seating as well as inside seating, pay by cash or card. Quick service - I always get a cappuchino whilst i wait for my order and its always ready before i've drank it!

We didn't book and turned up and got a table straight away however we were lucky as the tables soon got filled up. We got two breakfasts and two kids meals. The food is fresh and tasty and the service and staff were great and welcoming.

Called in to day for just two panini very slow service waited over half hour phone taking over the staff not full cooked when eventually arrived definitely gone downhill

Visited Gilly’s today were made very welcome. Service was excellent and efficient. Food was lovely and well presented and tasted lovely. So much to choose from and very good prices. My granddaughters enjoyed their food they cleared their plates . The shop was nice and clean. Definitely be visiting again for sure .

We regularly go to Gillys for lunch and breakfasts, the food is lovely, the breakfasts are really well cooked and presented. There is a good selection of sandwiches, cobs, paninis, wraps and jacket potatos, all cooked freshly at a reasonable price. The service is quick and the staff are very friendly and chatty. I would highly recommend this place if you are in the area.

Every time I come to Leicester from the US, Gilly's is literally my first stop off of the plane. Their small English Breakfast is my all-time favourite out of all the English breakfasts I have tried at other places. My vegetarian daughter loved the vegetarian...

What a lovely find after a very hostile visit to a local chain restaurant it was so lovely to be greeted warmly at Gillys which we found by Google! What a lovely friendly cosy atmosphere and the breakfast was to die for! Just a pity we won't be able to visit again for a while as on our way to the airport! Say without hesitation would much rather support a local business that thoroughly puts their heart into everything! A big big thanku from Javea Spain!

Great find of a place. Clean, friendly and good quality food. If I was being picky I could say that the sauce bottles could do with a clean and the cutlery could be better quality.. but neither affected my overall great opinion of the place.

I found this place by accident whilst I was in Fosse Park shopping Centre. On finding M and S Café over crowded and over priced I decided to search for local alternatives. This place popped up. It’s not far from Fosse Park and easy to get to. The owner couldn’t do enough to ensure I enjoyed my food and had comfortable seating. It’s suitable for breakfast and lunches with a good selection of both vegetarian and healthy options. I had the spinach and cheese pancake which was well presented and tasty. It’s very clean and inviting. Furthermore, the prices were reasonable. I will return next time I go to Fosse Park.

Delicious food and presentation of the food is wonderful. The servers of this place are very accommodating, they serves food on time but their prices are litte high.
