Giggling Squid in Brighton and Hove

Friendly & attentive service . We ordered chicken satay & salt n pepper squid between 3 of us . My main was the garlic hake fish with veg & jasmine rice . Delicious and great Prosecco !

Me and my wife had dinner here to celebrate our first anniversary. The food was very nice. Dumplings and red curry especially. Great service, very nice staff. Offered us a different table when we arrived, which had more leg room. Lovely place.

Great little restaurant in the heart of Brighton lanes. Great selection of food, the food was delicious and full of flavour. Great place to go with friends to eat and chat. Staff were warm and attentive. I wasn't too keen on my cocktail as the alcohol overpowered any other taste, but other than that we couldn't fault the experience and would recommend a visit to anyone.

I know that Giggling Squid Squid is a chain and that the food is somewhat mass produced but the lunch we had was absolutely wonderful. Tasty and very enjoyable, I could not fault it.

This is a great restaurant staff so friendly ,the food is so tasty and I will be going back whenever possible, would definitely recommend to pay a visit

Having lived in Thailand we know what good Thai food tastes like and this was most definitely not it. Ordered a green curry which was almost tasteless. When told that Thai food does not normally taste like that the waitress said “ That’s how English people like it “ …clearly not in every case so it would’ve been nice to be asked how spicy we would like our food. To top things off found a big dark hair in my food so needless to say we would not recommend this “ Thai “ food.

Loved the food, so fresh and tasty. We had the lunch plates, which is a selection of 4 dishes. Really enjoyed the choice I had a more spicy option, but my sister had the less spicy choice. Attentive staff even though they were busy. Will be back.

It was a lovely sunny evening so people were eating inside and outside and the doors were open which made for a lovely summer vibe. The service was very good - the food was fabulous and very reasonably priced.

thai meal wasn't worth the money small amounts was ill in the morning with bad stomach we think it was a uncooked prawn so a bad experience from pud thai they put tofu which ruined it green curry was ok but not the best

Food was okay - average Thai food, a bit pricey. Not a place to visit if you’re over 6’ - I’m clumsy but bashed my head about 3 times: the toilets are a nightmare to wrestle your way to.

A lovely Giggling Squid in the heart of the lanes. Fabulous location. We had a lovely meal with very friendly service. The squid, crispy beef starter, and red curry were especially good. The restaurant was full both inside and outside tables and there only appeared to be two servers. As such service was a little slow. They were so nice and the restaurant should really invest in more staff during busy periods.

The best Thai you’ll find within miles! I seriously wish I had more time to visit here more often! The food is fresh and so amazing. Ive tried a few different things now but yesterday blew us away. The staff are just as lovely as the food. So attentive and always helpful with my seafood allergies. Always seem to work super hard and they deserve so much credit. If you love Thai and want an authentic taste go try your self!

Came to this restaurant after it was highly recommended. The food was outstanding and wow what a treat. Just enough with the portion size as well and not over priced. Will definitely be back next time we visit Brighton.

What a nice restaurant! We hadn’t booked a table but walked in off the street & the staff kindly found us a table. The restaurant is small, very pleasant, relaxing & comfortable. Everything was absolutely superb…really beautifully cooked, just perfect! If we visit Brighton again we’d definitely return to this restaurant.
