Ordered food. They said it was delivered. It was never delivered. Avoid this place at all costs. They're ripping people off

have got a take away order , doner kebab box with chips and salad, inside was a lot of dry chicken meat overcooked and extremely salty ...

Decent value food, made well in a clean environment and tasty. Got the £5 Doner Box (Doner Chicken and Chips) - left me a little hungry but hit the spot. Would recommend for a quick snack or after a few drinks

Had the doner wrap meal. The doner was fresh & cut in front of me. Nice interior, good service and clean tables.

When German Donor Kebab opened in East Ham we loved it, especially the whole meal K-Kebab with loads of chicken and loads of salad which was really healthy (apart from too much salt which makes you want to drink lots soon after eating). However, the takeaway we just had as described above was much changed with big chunky (dry) rolls instead of medium thick pita bread. I think must have been to save money as there was a less chicken and hardly any salad. Chips are really nice, but portions barely fill the cardboard holders and the flaming fries had so much red powder on they were mostly inedible. Not good at £1.50 to £1.99 a portion. This used to be our favourite monthly takeaway, but can’t go back again. Even our 3 year old who loves these kebabs said they were too thick!

i order from this branch regularly at lunch time. first of all i would like to say that the kebabs taste great. the a re a few thing which let this branch and ilford branch down.

I ordered from this branch via uber eats. The doner meal was fine. But i also ordered the doner spring rolls and i was shocked to see how they sent it and the quality they sent it in. It was burnt with a large hole inside both rolls. The meat inside was also burnt due to this. Totally let down and disappointed by this. And was completely uneatable.

Ordered takeaway from this store. I have been to a couple of GDKs before but this was by far the best. The last behind the till was really friendly so much so she biswaded me to try the quasadia which I've never had before it was delicious. Oozing with cheese if you've not tried it you must! We also had cheesy natchos which was great especially after a night out with friends. Real comfort food. Never go in with your eyes buffer then you'd stomachs as the portions are really decent. Thanks for feeding us hungry guys so well. We'll be back soon

I have been to GDK couple of times but now day they are charging for sauce. It’s ridiculous to charge when we buy doner kebab with them.. I would suggest they should give at least 1 with any doner we buy.

I ordered a donor kebab meal with my own choice of drink, for which the attendant happily accepted my order, but when i got my food, the same attendant said that my food is ready but i wont be getting my choice of drink, as it was out of stock. She realised that i was out of stock only when delivering my food, but not when taking my order literally 2 minutes ago. If she told me that i wont get my choice of drink i would have gone somewhere else to get my meal.

Could not eat the salad I ordered as it had cold uncooked raw still bleeding chicken in it.

We received delivery of a raw chicken doner kebab last night. As you can see from pictures it was very raw. Lucky it was in a salad box and we noticed it after a few bites. If it was in a wrap there would be no chance of noticing it.

It took me a while before writing this review, I was thinking they just have a bad day sometimes. But to be honest I have enough, there s no order without a problem. Today example: I ordered my meal for take away, while I was waiting the guy on the till Alexandru, was talking with a guy very friendly, which apparently was a client , who went to kitchen as well, stood there talking with the staff for 10 min then he left, I don't know who is that guy but he didn't have any gdk logo on his clothes, I don't want any stranger to stay around my food while is prepared. I see often the guy who was on the till in the kitchen, I don't know why gdk keep swaping them. I took my order and went home to realise I didn't had chips just the sandwich and drink(the chips I paid for ), because Alexandru wasn't paying attention was to busy being friendly to that guy who I can bet was some kind of friend of him. You need to discipline your staff, customer service doesn't exist

Unfortunately we had a bad experience. The guy at the counter was very robotic and not very helpful. He expected you to know everything there and then. I told him he was talking too fast and he needs to slow down as I didn’t understand what he was saying. They staff at counters need to be more understanding and not patronising.

Price is very high. The chips are £1.49 and they gave only a little bit, not even worth it. We don’t mind paying that price but they should give the right amount.

The food it’s nice , good for money as well but the service it’s very bad . All the staff is Romanian but they also swearing in they’re language witch I funded very unprofessional.

The price for this donner is extortionate considering the amount that they serve in the box. Even when you order “go large” you will find that the box is still the same small box and all they’ve done is put a tiny bit more donner in and reduce the amount of chips. My husbands box barely still had much. The service in this particular branch is very poor and some other branches give a bit more. But it’s ridiculous how much they are charging for the measly amount of donner.

Everytime staff get it wrong, How hard can it be!!? There system is very sophisticated can twerk order, Portions are very smalI so I pay £1.50 for extra meat (I don’t mind paying) also I’m allergic to red cabbage it’s actually on the preference screen whilst you order, Most times have forget extra meat. Yesterday my food had cabbage in it. Best thing is the food is fresh as you see prepared. Staff are not capable or trained. I have met the boss (Mr Hagi) few times. Ask for him today wasn’t in they got him on the phone explained and he knew who I was, His attitude wasn’t like bothered. I felt ashamed for his conduct told him won’t be coming back.

I am a regular customer coz of chicken donor quality. But today was my last day coz of the staff.

A little embarrassed about posting a review on TripAdvisor about a kebab outfit but this was rather good. I got a small basic kebab with sauces, salad and a drink for less than a fiver.

Had two meals from there to eat in, got a big pin into my wife’s meal and got a photograph. When we informed the Manager(Alex), he replied me, whatever happened just happened and he can’t go back to time behind to sort it and telling me to ignore it without making stupid scene there. I didn’t ask for refund or any sort of compensation but sympathy, there was a possibility of life in danger.

Very delicious food at eastham. Wishing one was in walthamstow or chingford I could do uber. Would try Stratford next.

I have tried their food multiple times. Modern take on street food. They have an open kitchen and food is prepared in front of you. Try the flaming fries.

I brought two doner kebab from east ham branch and found that they are very tight with the amount of meat they give you. If you go to Ilford branch better doner kebab. I think I won't go there any more will tell friends and family as well.
