I went for the gym box which admittedly is just meat and salad. I had small shavings of meat which didn't account to much at all really. For the money, I at least expected to have something to satisfy my hungers. Wipes were amazing, sauces were amazing, food - very underwhelming. I wont be going back. Staff seemed disinterested, had to remind them I had ordered a drink.

I used to be a regular here, but today is the last visit. All the prices have gone up. I understand that in the current climate, but I don't expect LESS!!! People at work have all noticed this... Takin the mick!!!!

Best type of kebab in UK, the bread are meat are amazing. 4/5 cos restaurant could be cleaned better , some music would be nice too, on some days there is dead silence , no pleasant to eat in but fresh taste the best! Your toilet must function too guys, keep a good maintaince of it. Regards

Went to the Twickenham branch… impeccably clean…staff friendly… got a take away…loved the kebab but small little plastic sauce containers impossible to open.. little plastic tabs break off… wouldn’t open…had to throw them.

Food cold paid for large got small emailed no response told to click on link did not work emailed the further 3 times still no response very poor customer service. Usually use Bromley or 02 branch no problem but Would not go back to Eltham branch

Visited the Sutton branch yesterday for the first time and the staff were very dismissive, busy dealing with driver collections and just handed me my to go bag without a word. I usually order via justeat without any issues and thought I would grab a takeaway as I was walking past but never again. Terrible customer service.

After waking past many a times I decided to give this store a try and was happily surprised food was absolutely fab!!

I’m a regular customer, going at least once every week, often with friends once a month minimum. Me and my friends absolutely love this place, especially with the latest additions, such as the Dorito Burger, totally recommend it. It’s really satisfying to see the store improving, especially over lockdown, after all the negative reviews it has received. The manager has really taken this onto board and it shows, compared to a few months ago when GDK was just plain. The staff is fairly friendly and the food is good as always, especially if you order the right ones. From personal experiences I would definitely try the Dorito Burger with some chilli powered fries with some coke on the side, just hits different on a weekend with friends.

Very good food but they don't provide any sauce separately with the kebab hence it leads to kebab being dry very often.This is regarding the gdk restaurant in sutton high street.

I have previously left a negative review of this place a few months ago, but I decided to give it another go and it was really nice. the meat was good also the salad very fresh and the bread was lovely, it was crisp on the outside and soft inside. Completely different to pitta bread and much nicer. Thanks guys.

We ordered this via UberEats and arrived cold. Such a shame, as the beef Kebabs tasted so nice and the Mac and Cheese bites yum. Didn't give up so ordered again for collection. literally 10 mins before collection, arrived and was already sitting in bag ready. So the bags are sitting on counter, open and paper so are never going to keep the food warm. Judging by the reviews here, they need to address these issues to make it a success, as it's a lovely concept.

Very disappointed with this restaurant delivery we spent over £40 on takeaway, it was cold, sloppy, very cheap ingredients, my wife had a vegetarian kebab and all there was it it was a vegetarian patty with a bit of salad, don't bothere with this restaurant, go to your local kabab shop, it will be cheaper.

First time delivery order tonight (from Sutton branch, South London) - website offered delivery services from Just Eat, Deliveroo and UberEats - having clicked through the first two options it turns out that orders were only being taken via UberEats... Ordered basic chicken doner - paid £1.99 more for extra chicken meat - God knows how little meat there would be had I not done so... Also requested that the tomato be removed from the standard salad - it wasn't removed... Also ordered the Chilli-cheese bites - the web-site shows six 'bites' to a portion - I received five AND, like the actual kebab, they were STONE COLD and greasier than I''d've expected...Like I said, first time order today - was curious and genuinely wanting to be pleased - very disappointed and won't be repeating the experience - there are several MUCH better value kebab takeaways in the same vicinity, one less than 200 yards away - I shall stick with them...In addition, the specific address of my flat was shown on the confirmation of my order but not cascaded down to the delivery driver who had to ring me from outside to find out what number my flat was...

Rubbish . The staff members don’t even realise that you are waiting to be served. I ended up walking out as she was to busy talking to her colleague. I waited a good 10 minutes.

Had a kebab and asked for it to be well cooked after reading some reviews, when it arrived it was raw and I had to send it back and get another one. This place has gone downhill the front of house staff and the guys in the kitchen just don't look and act like they want to work there.When it first opened there was an older Asian guy who was very good and cared about what he served but now just not good. And also dangerous, because under cooked-raw meat of this quality can cause serious health problems.

Él se negó y dijo que no lo daban. Le dije cómo es que vengo aquí todo el tiempo y siempre lo tengo y también está en el sitio web de NHS, así que ¿por qué dices que no lo haces? Se puso extremadamente grosero mientras revisaba mi cuenta de NHS, le dije que no necesitaba ser grosero y me dijo que me mostrara entonces y se quedó allí con mucha autoridad como si fuera un hombre de seguridad, creo que olvidó dónde trabajaba en ese momento, también dijo que es el dueño de la tienda. Ordered the go large gym box, which arrived in a very small sized box, and half full. I called the restaurant as i thought there may have been a mixup and they accidentally filled it half way or gave me a smaller size, but they said it's the right portion size and because i asked for no salad that's why the box was half empty. 12 pounds for a tiny portion of doner. Oh, and when speaking to the store, they shut the phone on me TWICE. I could have dealt with ordering again as the doner does taste good but with that type of customer service, never ever again!!! It's a shame they're so rude to local or any customers they could be generating repeat business from.

Ordered a plain quesadilla, no spice, no sauce, & fries. When I got back to my work, there was no fries & there was jalapenos in the quesadilla. On phoning them up, I explained that I was unable to leave the office to bring it back, they refused to replace the order unless I came straight back. The best they could offer me was 15% off next visit.

Came in here for a quick stop lunch and the selection looked good. I went for the “Gym Box” with chickenFood arrived very quickly. I was disappointed to see that the box was only half full and all I could see was salad. Half way down, still salad, no chicken. Further down and I found a tiny sliver of chicken, I decided to dig around in the remainder of my meal, the box now only 25% full. Upon digging around I found around a table spoonful of very greasy and slimy bits of chicken, mostly skin. Actual meat content was around 1.5 tea spoons. The bottom was also swimming in grease. I ate the clean salad and had to bun the rest!Awful quality, awful quantity. Avoid!Head up to the charcoal grill up the road where the food is better quality and better value. Won’t be returning!

I used to LOVE this place. Every time I went out to the high street I went to GDK for my lunch. Went here with friends and family. Whether it’s in the shop or ordering my döner through UeberEats, I’ve never been disappointed. UNTIL my last order. When I took a bite chicken skin was all I could taste. Next bite. Again disgusting slimey chicken skin. When I opened my doener all I could see was disgusting chicken skin!! Had to put it in the bin as I felt disgusted. This never happened to me before. I never had a complain. I complained through uebereats but didn’t get any reply. Anyways, my next visit was when I went with my husband to the actually restaurant on Sutton high street. We both ordered mixed doener. Again chicken skin!!! Beef was alright. We might not visit again unfortunately, unless this problems been solved. We used to absolutely love this place! 3 stars for the previous doeners we had. But last 2 orders were disgusting chicken skin.

Really tasty food but unfor6thr place requires management attention. The floor is full of rubbish and the toilets are dirty. The kitchen from outside looks again filled with rubbish on the floor.

Waiting time is unbelievable long for kebab. We came as a couple just one of us eating and we were waiting for one meal more than 15 min though it was just one table in the restaurant and they were eating already.

Absolutely awful, after a long wait, food was cold and inedible. Order incorrect due to staff not being able to hear you speaking (suggestion turn the music down).

Finally found the kebab shop where is normal bread not a pita! Great place, full of flavour, really nice sauces.Went there few times and will be returning as often as visiting Sutton.

Stopped in here for Christmas shopping lunch. Staff didn’t seem particularly enthusiastic or interested but they served well and was a good tasting kebab and chips. Though this isn’t your usual kebab house, is very clean and more like McDonalds for kebabs :)

Not at all sure about this place. Everything is made for you behind a sort of glass screen so you can see everything being made which is ok I guess but it was so frenzied behind there it all looked rushed. My cheese chips were not really cooked or prepared with any sort of care, just thrown in the container as quickly as possible to just get to the next order. My kebab was cold and the bread far outweighed with contents. The contents was nothing special, nothing distinctive or different so essentially just a glorified and expensive wrap. Sutton still awaits the arrival of a decent kebab place as this certainly isn't it. The place was heaving with uber eat and deliveroo moped drivers which is probably why the kitchen staff were trying to bang out as many kebabs as possible despite there only being about 3 people in the restaurant. The person who took my money seriously didn't want to be there. Passionless!

Firstly, the food is really good, tasty, fresh kebabs made with quality ingredients. Been recommended by my son, so off we went. The problem is the customer service. Supposedly opened at 11.30, staff on site walking in and out of the store however finally opened at 11.40 after I knocked on the door after waiting for 10 minutes. No apology, explanation, excuse. Picked a couple of items off the Main menu as they offer a special Sunday deal (£4.00 any main!) Bill came in a over £10.00, which I paid. Asked to have a copy of the receipt and the store manager asked me why (?) I explained that I wanted to understand why the price had differed. He explained that Head Office controlled the prices and they must not have updated Sutton's tills with the right prices! Having contacted head office shortly after, it as all resolved nicely, but just can't work out why you would put that much effort in to the food and the shop and then let yourself down with the staff

So nice to go into a fast food shop to find that the staff look at you when they speak. Very friendly customer assistant, who noticed that I was squinting at the menu above him and offered me a leaflet. First time here, so chose the German kebab. Absolutely delicious. Plenty of flavour and a choice of three meats. We chose all three. Would thoroughly recommend this place and will return. Price very reasonable.
