After waiting all week for a kebab from here I finally got one tonight. What a disappointment!! Food arrived on time but everything was cold. Had to put the fries in the microwave to warm them. The kebab itself was stone cold and the kebab spring rolls weren't much warmer. Absolutely gutted!!

First time l had tried it and l am definitely going back - loved it!!

I had the doner kebab burger and the large spicy fries. The meat was dry and hard, no flavours whatsoever, also lacked salad within the burger. Furthermore, the large spicy fries were dry and weak in spicy they were also filled with the spicy mix so all you tasted was a powdery substance. The only thing that was nice was the nacho cheese sauce however it wasn’t very strong. Not worth the money is a bit overpriced for the quality and quantity. Not eating there agai bc

Stopped in Coventry in out trip back home for a meal and to have a short visit to the city, we never been in Coventry before. My wife is a bit "special" about food, the only kebab she likes is GDK's chicken one so I took advantage and take her there. The young lady at the counter was very kind and was aware of us even once we were sitting on the table. Kitchen looked clean and tidy, like that. Order came quickly, a well served portion thay you can eat without make a big mess and was delicious. We saw couple of tables that needed some maintenance but nothing major, just highlighted it because the venue is well made and decorated for a fast food shop. Thanks for the extra garlic sauces young lady!.

I went to GDK Coventry last night. I went to order and was not sure what to eat. The lady named Arshi at the till was very friendly with a lovely smile and helped me choose the food. She recommended me the boss box which had OG kebab, flaming fries and chicken spring rolls along with Coke. I had the best food in a long time. The quality and quantity of the food was amazing. The service was very good as well. I felt like I am a regular visitor of the place as the staff made me so comfortable. The ambience of the place was great as well. The washrooms were cleaned as I saw the checklist outside. They do clean them every hour. I would highly recommend this place. Loved it. :)

I came on Tuesday and wanted the doner box but the man who served me said I could get 2 for 1 if I use the app so that's what I did. I got extra food food for the same price and it tasted good. Great price and service

Unless you are wearing an Uber eats bag the staff completely ignore you and then look complete shocked when you are not happy. Stood there for 15 mins while under drivers walk in and get served straight away. Horrible customer service

I frequently visit German Doner Kebab, but recently, I've noticed a decline in food quality . My visit to the Coventry branch last week was disappointing; the staff seemed unfriendly, and the food was served cold. Despite ordering four portions of the meal deal, none of us were satisfied with the quality. I believe that if prices increase, portion sizes shouldn't decrease, and quality should be maintained. Overall, very disappointed with the service.

We are regular customers of GDK- However have seen this place decline in recent times. On Saturday was the worst ever experiences and we left (3 x hungry people) without ordering a thing. Firstly the toilets were absolutely HORRIFIC. The ladies had the seat lifted and urine everywhere. I asked to be let into the Disabled ones in hope they would be better. The smell literally had me and my 6yr old wretching/gagging. How on earth can such an unhygienic place be allowed to operate. I have seen cleaner in 3rd world countries. I asked for some boiling water in my babys bottle so i could feed him- the bottle was taken away and 5mins later told "we cant give you any". Why? This is the first restaurant we have been denied water! The app was also not working and the staff were unprepared to honour the deals. GDK is a reputable brand with wonderful food - but this branch completely lets it down. Such a shame that going forward we will not be dining in!

German Dinner kebab in Coventry it’s very nice and clean place to eat. Staff is always very nice and helpful especially Tanisha which served me and offered to try new beef spring rolls.

We wait 30 minutes for 2 items 20 minutes of which the food was sat not under the heat lamp this meant our food was slightly cold I also missed my bus 3 times!

Donner meat is ALWAYS cold when you eat in .. I have given this place 3 chances . Not sure why you are serving cold/ barely warm donner meat all the time . Will try it next time .. one more time and if it changes I will report back here .

Ridiculous wait time even though ordered for collection half an hour before. Like what was the point of me doing that then? Staff (men) at the back not all of them i noticed one just being on his phone and making food at the same time but barely even making something and just hanging all around the back and front showing off himself?! Is he trying to impress someone or probs work there.
