Very good address. The fish and chips are of very good quality. Thanks to the friendly staff.

£5 for a large chips (most I've ever paid for take away chips) and portion was pretty standard, ie not 'large'. Quite stingy and looked the same as other two standard portions I bought. Never again. Portion control George's!

Very disappointed with food. The cod roe poorly wrapped and when unwrapped the Cod Roe stuck to the wrapping paper and half of it was lost further the Chips were very hard and inedible extremely disappointed so won’t be visiting this eatery again!

Ordered large fish and chips. Got a regular sized fish and about as many chips and can fill up a cup. And the sausage couldn't of been any more cheap and processed if they tried. Avoid this rip off place. I won't go there again

Went to George Fish Bar for the first time a few weeks ago. Super friendly staff. Great chips and generous portions. This is probably going to be my new go to place for fish & chops.

I’ve been here three times and each time I ask for a lot of salt and vinegar on my chips. Which doesn’t happen. I can’t taste it on them at all. The chips also seem like oven chips and are a floppy mess

George’s senior male staff member said “Pay me first, so you don’t run out with your chips”. I am highly disappointed with this comment. He clearly judged me by the colour of my skin! I am a regular here and to be told this was shocking and offensive. I will never step foot in this place again! George, your staff are rude and judgemental. This happened today at 4:30!

Would give - stars if I could. Food was not only bland but also so undercooked it gave me and my son salmonella. We were throwing up for a week. When I raised this issue to the manager, he told me he could not control what was happening in the kitchen and could only offer me a 10% off voucher!! Absolutely disgusting do not eat here unless you’d like to visit the ER for the next couple days.

Excellent Fish and chips the best I think in Enfield. Fosh is sea fresh and taste delicious every time . Salads are also really nice too.. Eating in or out you cant go wrong . Service is alway with a smile and big portions of chips..

Honestly cannot find one single "negative" thing to say about this. This was one of the best, if not the best fish and chips I've ever had. The fish was SO FRESH, not oily, the fish did not smell of oil or fried like many other places, the fish was so fresh and white, and the chips were out of this world, as well as the portions! Was my first time here and definitely not the last! Thank you 🙌🙌🙌

Honestly the best fish I have had, fresh from the sea and it is worth the price.

We love to have fish and chips with the kids. It’s become a family tradition, which George’s fish bar has become a part of. Eating in is our preference as we feel the batter tastes better for some reason, don’t ask us why. They are lovely people with great food. You can usually tell when a fish and chip shop is good as it usually gets packed, which it does. Would highly recommend for the best F&C in Enfield Town.

Chips were ok but spring roll was a waste of money. £3 for a spring roll that is mainly onions and very little carrot and bean shoots.

This is the best fish and chip shop, bar none. I cannot wait to go back again. We always eat in, the staff are friendly. I always have haddock, mum has plaice and dad has cod. The fish is lovely and white and the batter is perfect as are the chips, all cooked freshly to order. It's the only place I'll have fish and chips. 😊

Best fish and chips for miles around

Wow, this is the best Fish and Chips around. Always fresh and proper cod no cheap fish off cuts. It gets delivered with no oils dripping and soaked boxes. They sell the best pies and chips are always cooked lovely and fresh potatoes. Well done George keep it up and good luck!!!

George's good fish and chip shop not really my local but I use it nothing wrong with the food value for money not sure on that one. The only thing I don't like is the fact that advertis fresh fish daily,.It is not possible to get fresh fish on weekends and Monday's, last catch is in the market Friday morning no market Saturday's Sunday's or Monday's, that is why fish and chip shops traditionally never open on Monday's so the fish you eat on Monday's must be frozen not fresh daily but don't let me stop you it's not bad atoll

Ordered for delivery on 4.6.22, quick service, chips decent, fairly large portion. The fish was out of this world though. Came in a box, 3 pieces, 2 small pieces, and a larger one, great portion for the price. The cod was genuinely amazing, the best fish I've had in London in 20+ years. 🔥👏

The fish and chips was fresh and really tasty. As usual asked for small chips got a portion for 3 people. The cooking oil was fresh and was able to tell from the colour and teste of the fish and chips. Only downside is that, they only accept cash and no card payments. I hope this would be adapted very soon. Keep up the nice work.

Had this as takeaway through deliveroo and few times. Easily the nicest fish and chips we've had in London for a long time. Fish had a lovely light crispy batter and seemed lovely and fresh. Chips were also excellent! A lovely traditional style fish and chip shop.

I ordered from here via ubereats a couple of days ago and the chips were so soggy they were inedible. My southern fried chicken was tasteless and watery, they clearly pump this with water. And my saveloy was crunchy on the outside so it was clearly overdone. Overall, extremely disappointed. All food went to waste!

My go to fish bar. The batter is probably the best I've had very tasty and crispy golden brown. Staff are amazing. You can park round the back and walk through the alley way because no where to park at the front.
