Genting Club Westcliff in Southend-on-Sea

Very unorganised. Waited a long time just to get seated. Half the food on the menu not available. Basically staff not trained properly and not enough of them.

We visited the casino today for an afternoon flutter and a bite to eat. All of the staff we encountered were so friendly and welcoming and despite the current restrictions service etc was excellent and our snack was delicious! We really enjoyed our afternoon so thank you to all you're doing a fab job X

Went to Gentings last night and I have to say that the new menu is one of the best meals I have had around the area. The scallops were beautifully cooked and tender and the steak with the new sauce was the best. The service was professional but engaging and their social distancing was very good all waitress/waiters worn masks. Definitely go again and recommend it to others.

We have been hear many times for Sunday Lunch and other meals it always very nice. We have taken family and friends as you can relay on them to give you good food and always make you and your party welcome. When you are not in the restaurant or the seated area for the bar you have to ware a mask and there is a one way system.

We took our friends out six of us went for a meal and we all enjoyed it very much. Then we explained to our friends about the gambling so they could have a go. They said they realy enjoyed thire visit and would like to go again.

We visited on a Wednesday evening, when the whole place was very quiet. Bar staff were very nice, however it took an absolute age for them to make cocktails. The drinks were nice when they arrived, but preparation took far too long. Waiting staff in the restaurant were polite and efficient, and keen to point out the best deal that we could get for food and wine, taking into account the offer on at the time, and the vouchers that we had. This was much appreciated. We all had the Thai red curry, which was full of flavour. House wine was decent too.

Family get together for an early Christmas lunch. Food was excellent, apart from the brussel sprouts being a bit too al dente! Service was great. But best of all was the singer - Becky Deller. She smashed it for me. Brilliant set of songs for a lovely afternoon

On a sudden whim a friend of mine and I popped in to Westcliff Genting casino on Friday night after dinner at Toulouse a short walk away. It was my first time at the casino though I’ve lived in Southend for years. My friend and I loved the decor and seating areas really easy to chat and have a drink sitting on comfy chairs. The live music was an unexpected treat. The singer had a lovely voice. We had several cocktails and the were so reasonable £7.50 each. I thought it was super. And my friend lives in london she was impressed as cocktails in London are usually double the price. The Dj put a fab range of song on. All in all a wonderful night out. It felt comfortable to be there. I will definitely go back again. Would like to try the food next time.

As not getting out much, that little special occasions to go to the casino felt like a great idea.On arrival, staff friendly , being November thought it might be quiet , we were wrong. Restaurant full, the booths had been pre booked for birthday parties.Just being the two of us , we just sat at the bar, the atmosphere built up to a good vibe.Spoke tothe lady on the restaurant desk, she could fit us in around 9.30pm, thought it was too late, but having a couple of drinks a game of roulette, the time flew.Sat at 9.15 was expecting the food to come out a little blaze, (chefs having a hard night).Food came out spot on, compliments, medium rare steaks, fresh veg, excellent.Band came on what an atmosphere for the rest of the night.Thank you for an enjoyable evening

First time visit for Sunday lunch. Was extremely happy with both the service & food. Beautiful panoramic views of the estuary. Great value for money.

Lovely place, warmly welcomed by the reception staff, really nice inside, after playing at a few tables we sat down for our meal at 7:20 pm and didn't finish until 11 pm, this was far too long, the restaurant wasn't full but was busy. There were long waits between the delicious food that was served. The tempura starters were great, the steak cooked at per request and the cheesecake sublime, well-done chef! The entertainment was lively and enjoyable and got people dancing. A great place for a meal out with entertainment and gambling.

Always was and always will be the best Casino and has a good bar and lovely restaurant with lots of good quality entertainment. Great venue and they have a really fun and exciting Craps table which some of the other casinos do not have.

Came here Saturday 22nd June 2019 and my word, we should have turned up Sunday 23rd to tuck into our main course. Slow is an understatement. Ten mins to get a drink, 30mins for a soup then another 15mins for the other starter. Mains eventually came slightly staggered with a well over cooked medium steak but another perfect medium steak. Burger was more dry than a nuns flip flop but yet confusingly sweaty. Monkfish cheekily small but nice. Didn’t bother with desert as I didn’t want to die in here waiting and we’d already asked for the mains a few times, the waiter looked so grumpy he might have gozzed in it. The lady waitress was very polite but that was about it. Karolina with a K was her name. Instagram maitre d was busy with her pouting and snapchat. Was probably mega lols though.

Quick and efficient service, well managed, with a varying menu. You don't even need to gamble - just go there for the food, atmosphere and sea view.

I booked a table for 12 people for my partners 70 th birthday the starters were very nice but so dissatisfied with the main courses the steaks were so tough , the chicken dish was supposed to be stuffed with cheese there was no cheese just a dry fillet wrapped in bacon so disappointed when we complained nobody wanted to know sent a email to them still waiting for reply don’t think we will get one either nice surroundings but disappointed food for £25 ahead

We called in for a drink and sat outside on the terrace facing the sea it was lovely and sunny it was my retirement weekend and my partners birthday ,the drinks were a good price and compared well to other places not to expensive ,they could do with more furniture on the terrace and some small tables,so after a flutter you can relax outside,we had to laugh as one of the team told us to move our chairs back against the wall on the terrace in case of a fire,if there was a fire you would jump in the sea! Mind you rules are rules and health and safety comes first not guests any more and there comfort such a shame isn't it,good health to all see you soon

We booked our table for 9:00pm and our order wasn’t even taken until 10:00pm.

Good service, meal really good for the price, we have always had a lovely meal here everytime we visit the casino, which is not that often as we are not local to it.

Terrible experience. We booked our table for 30 people for 9.00pm sitting as the table was booked previously to this time. When I went to ask if we were going to be seated at 8.55pm I was told the table was already occupied and in fact it was not available for us until 9.30pm. This was not surprising as when we arrived at 8.00pm the table was not being used so the previous group that had booked the earlier sitting had obviously not even sat down to start their meal. I blame the staff for this they should have made sure they were made aware that the table was booked again from 9.00pm.The time dragged on and we were eventually seated at 2 tables at 9.50pm to then be told that one of the 4 starters was already not available. The main course was delivered to table one and they had finished eating before the food for table 2 arrived which was now about 11.00pm. When they did deliver the main courses to table 2 they delivered them all before they brought out the separate vegetables by this time most people had finished. The dessert arrived so late that most of the party had got up and left the area and when we asked a waiter for some cutlery so we could eat it he said "don't stress me out"

we were invited to the casino to see and sample the new bar layout, and restaurant, and it is definitely a much better layout and should improve the service and you can book your own booth seating area with a personnel server, excellent choice of drinks I stuck to the Bombay sapphire gin and tonics, followed by a great red wine with the three course dinner

Always loved the restaurant but enough is enough. You’ve been given many chances but the quality is just appalling. Last nights George Michael menu was overpriced and I can honestly say revolting. Raw chicken wings. Two plates sent back. The lamb was just slimy and the Mashed potato indescribable. Will def go back to the casino but will not eat there again which is a shame.

Aware of upgrading work at venue but shame they hadn't put getting toilets finished first as 3 ladies toilets for the whole building resulted in long lines & messy toilets. The food was nice but service a little erratic, starters all served bar 1 which despite asking for 3 times didn't come out untill much later than rest, it wasn't just our table having same issue. The staff were pleasant & helpful. Hopefully will be able to get to dance floor & bar (as can only claim free drink from bars not with table service) from dining area once works completed. Entertainer very good shame he was on while people eating so we couldn't go dance. Hopefully when works completed there will be more seats available around tables in betting area. The little drinks tables could do with being cleared more often as there were several times when glasses & bottles were knocked over as people moved around the tables. A good atmosphere.

We had 3 tables of 12 and the main table didn't get there starter until 9.30 main meal 10.30 and our desert 11.30. i know it was as saturday night but it was a bit of spoiler for the night. Would i go back there again very debatable im afraid.xx

the setting of the Gentings restaurants is lovely, with a view of the water. lovely white table cloths. very nice staff, but our roast was only just warm, which was so disappointing, I orders the gammon but there was a lot of sweet brown gravy over it that it didn't taste like gammon and didn't look like gammon !!! my husband had the beef, but his also was just warm. Such a shame.

We went to the Genting casino for a meal and it was absolutely beautiful. Excellent service and quality of food. Reasonable prices in my opinion. Would definitely recommend it to anyone

Great venue, tables a bit in lines but It wasn’t busy for a Friday evening. All the staff were friendly and professional, excellent service time.

We regularly visit Farenheit Restaurant in the Genting Casino for a meal before we hit the tables and usually it is great (see my previous reviews) but when we visited last Sunday (06 May) we left totally dissapointed. It was the Sunday before May bank holiday and the casino was really busy and there we some big parties in the restaurant - so maybe this was the reason our meal was terrible!

Booked for a party of 12. We had the 3 course special menu. Starters were great, carrot and coriander soup delicious. Mains- most were lovely but avoid the Thai curry, that was very disappointing, Watery and the added chicken was just grilled and lumped on top. No flavour and looked like they just threw some tumeric onto it to make it a yellow mush. Dessert - cheesecake and key lime pie were the best. Service was slow. But a nice evening all the same.

Was our first time visiting the Farenheight Restaurant at the Genting Casino. The food was good value for money although a bit ' massed produced '. I think some of it had been pre cooked and then reheated, the Cauliflower cheese was like mush. Although service was pretty quick it was all very un coordinated, we were asked if we would like to order drinks etc a number of times by various members of staff. Would have been much better for each waiting staff member to have their own section of tables to deal with. I guess if you are going out for an evening to gamble it is ok but I wouldn't be in a rush to visit just as a place to have a drink and something to eat.

Really felt let down by the slow service here on Saturday, whilst the food was reasonably okay ( the duck buns were superb and the fish and chips did what it said), we waited way too long for our first round of drinks, and almost an hour for our main course, empty starter plates were left sitting in front of us for ages - it seemed like service really ground to a halt as the room filled up and having booked ahead this was surely down to poor floor management. The disco was fun but the band cleared the dancefloor in minutes!

First time in a casino! Wasn’t looking forward to it at all!

I had never been to a Casino in my life and that stretches 80 years. My new experience was first class. On arrival settled down with a nice drink while awaiting our table for dinner. The service and the meal were first class. I could not fault any member of staff in the restaurant or at the bar who were first class. After our meal and a relaxing drink we decided to have a little gamble on the tables. Again a new experience for me and one that I enjoyed. I naturally found it challenging at first but eventually settled down and enjoyed our little gamble. Again staff were first class and very helpful.

I went with 9 friends for the Christmas ladies who lunch meal. We were dealt with quickly and efficiently.

Been to the casino again for Sunday lunch and I have to say the food is amazing. The slow roast lamb is the best I've ever had. Melt in the mouth and so tasty. Had the 3 cheese and onion tart to start and it was fantastic. Service was super as usual. Well done to everyone for a lovely afternoon

Will never come here again The waiters kept getting the order wrong and the steaks were tough or over cooked. Menu was limited and music so loud could not talk at the table. Will not be returning.

Went to celebrate a birthday. Decided to have dinner at the reatuarant. Food was good but menu could be more exciting - not much for vecgatarians. Bar menuavailable when retaurant is closed - good selection too of drinks.Ambiance was nice. Casino good - just decide on the limit you are prespared to lose - and what a bonis when you win. Great professional satff who are always there to help. Enjoy

Food & Cocktail service is very slow when not busy... takes 20 minutes for cheesy chips & 10 minutes for a cocktail, last time we went my friends ordered cheesy chips and it took 30 minutes and they forgot one of them.

Have visited the Fahrenheit Grill on Fridays and Saturdays evening, the food was great, we decided to try the Sunday Lunch today, one word "Fantastic" never eaten such amazing lunch, great choice of starters, main, and dessert, we chose the pork and beef, the slow cooked beef was fantastic, the knife just cut through the beef effortlessly, the loin of pork was cooked to perfection and the crackling was the best we have ever tasted. We had a selection of at least 8 various vegetables, again fantastic....I would recommend the Sunday lunch to everyone, great value for money, excellent attentive staff, thank you for a great Sunday lunch.

What can i say .....if anyone wants a gorgeous three course meal Monday to Thursday for £15.95 then this is a must .. the farenheight staff were attentative and informative especially Rachel thank u so much .. classy clean surroundings.... if you are driving and even if u are not a member u can park in members spaces and give your registration in at reception ..if u are thinking of joining take id and join on arrival its free and you will then start earning points on your food and drinks etc for vouchers to send in gentingsGood value and lush food

Went along for a meal, had never been there before and didn't know what to expect.Had the mid week set menu with additional bottle of wine, was very impressed with the food, service and meal.Didn't gamble just had drinks and meal and was very impressed.

We arrived at the genting club we had booked a table the staff were extremely helpful, polite and attentive, our meal was superb, could not have expected more, we were served by several members of staff, Rachel, Andre, Andriea, it was a lovely experience, would definitely recommend, although we did not use the casino, many people do not realise it is a quality venue where the food is excellent with the option of using the casino, the meal was very good value for money, this is the second time we have visited, on both times we have been very happy

I come with my friends for a night the guy behind the bar was brilliant seg ( i hope i got his name right) what a lovely young man he was brilliant with us his customer service is brilliant he is a credit to your company he really made us all feel welcome and told me the best cocktail to try was woo woo i will defo be back soon thanks again brilliant night

8 of us went for a birthday celebration. Got a lovely round table. Had the £14.95 3 course menu. The rump was really nice & peanut butter cheesecake was amazing!!! Staff were very friendly & helpful. It was a Wednesday so not much going on but still a great night

A lovely night out for a meal with Southend Tangent Club and their husbands. A really great value meal.

Having not been in this place since the early eighties (when it was "Billy Walkers") then it was called the "Westcliff Lesuire Centre" and my then boyfriend was a member and I used to play squash there and I used the sauna and plunge pool Which was far too cold for me! I accompanied some lady friends to a "Comedy & Curry Night" in the downstairs "Function Room" to celebrate one of our friends birthday on Friday 3rd March and I was very impressed with the staff and the whole ambiance of the venue.On purchasing some more drinks for my friends at the bar, I noticed John the Entertainment & Hospitalty Manager, (I think that was his title) who I recognised from outside this venue. I remarked what a lovely place it was! Explaining that I used to come to the Nightclub back in the early eighties (which in fact was the same place as to where we were now being entertained in the Function Room).John said he had been in his role for over thirty years and he remembered well memories I shared with him.After enjoying our Popadoms with Mango Chutney, we were advised that we could now go and get our curry from the portable catering hot food serving area. We were offered portions of nan bread, boiled plain white rice, chicken, beef and vegetable curries. Very nice and tender the meat was, not too spicy they were very nice! Shortly after this the comedy acts came on to entertain us two individual lady comedian acts were then followed by the main act "Ian Stone" who was great entertainment and I found very funny. I would thoroughly recommend this for a great value night out, we were also given a £5 card bet that we could place (on a outside table) in the Casino area after the Comedy acts had performed.I had never been to a Casino so this was quite fun people watching. After playing a few low priced bets we then went to the nightclub area to listen and dance to "Billy Mitchell's" (Perry Fenwicks brothers) band. Sorry did not catch their name! I saw John walking amongst the clients on quite a few times during the course of the evening and on each occasion he stopped and we exchanged pleasantries.I was very impressed by the staff, the venue, but mostly by the courteous manner of JOHN a true asset to a lovely place well done can't wait to go back soon

Came here for a family celebration- staff very polite and service prompt and lovely for an evening out- but I would say if your ordering off set menu as much as good tasty it was tiny most of it(soup and puddings exception/ had a huge slice of peanut butter cheesecake-which just as well as was still hungry by then!) one starter the mozzarella was so tiny thought they were joking- 2 tiny balls of cheese, thin tiny slice of bread and a couple of pieces of tomato but if they could improve just slightly on size would of been a 5!

We had seen some poor restaurant reviews here but we hadn't been for a while so we though we would give it a try. We had planned to visit another nearby seafront restaurant that offered an 'early bird' choice. However, their tables are very cramped together and The Genting Restaurant was offering a better deal on their online menus.I suppose the Casino looks a bit massive and possibly off-putting but everyone there was extremely friendly whilst remaining professional.We chose the three course meal deal for £14.95 per head plus a special offer of £10 on their house wine - which we found to be very easily drinkable! We hate paying over the odds for a glass of wine in restaurants so this option was great.There was a good menu choice. We both had a spiced chicken starter which was a bit 'straight out of the fridge' but OK. For main course my wife had the 'three pork' with apple, which she found delicious with the accompanying sauce. I often find sea bass a little bland but the one I had was really flavoursome the way it had been cooked plus the lovely fresh sliced orange salad.For dessert my wife had a peanut cheesecake very well presented and I had a meltingly moist lemon sponge, which on a winter's evening was so comforting!We liked the fact that the tables were not too close together. Staff were brilliant and we thought the whole meal overall was of a very high standard - especially for such a low price!So easy to park right outside - so we will have to start going here more often.

This review isn't just based on one visit, it is based on 2 or 3. Firstly, I would like to point out that the gambling in the casino is absolutely fine and there are no complaints.However, the issue lies with the food in the bar area. As a family we visit the casino fairly regularly and I can't remember the last time we were pleased with the food.The first issue we had was on 30/01/2016 when we ordered the southern fried chicken burgers, however when they arrived 45 minutes later, we were greeted with 3 tandoori chicken burgers, 2 of which were burnt to crisp! This astounded us as this isn't even on the menu! We were then told that there was no southern fried chicken burgers left so they just gave us what they had. I did email gentings with a complaint, however 2 months down the line I have still not received a response. Once we sent the tandoori chicken back, we were offered cheeseburgers as a replacement, although this turned out to be mostly cheese with a little bit of meat!The second issue we have had was more recently on Sunday, where my partner and mother ordered sweet potato and chick pea curry, but were greeted with a vegetable curry that was very bland. When ordering the food, we overheard the bar staff mention 'it's under vegetable curry but there is a little bit of sweet potato in there'. Safe to say, there was none. Before hand we asked for the table to be cleaned as it was still dirty from the previous customers, this was completed but with no enthusiasm and a huff! The funny thing is that yet again, there is no sign of vegetable curry on the menu! The one positive to come out of this was that the restaurant supervisor who helped us was very friendly and understood our concerns. Although she should not have had to have dealt with this issue as it shouldn't have occurred.I did not want to have to take to trip advisor to resolve this matter, but with my complaint being ignored via the online comments section, I felt I had to get the issues resolved.

We returned to the Genting Club after a long break and were very disappointed in the meal. One of our party ordered a soup starter which arrived too cold to eat. It was taken back and wasn't returned until the rest of us had finished our mediocre first course. My slow cooked lamb main course was dry. The others in our group thought their roast meats were too thick, more like an unappetising lump of meat. We won't rush back.

Perfect night out with friends for a birthday we all enjoyed our night cheap drinks great music and loads of fun gambling we go at least once a year if not more something for everyone

This was the 4th time going to the Genting Club on New Years Eve. Lovely way to spend the night. Live entertainment great and the perfect way to bring in the New Year.

We go to the Genting Casino regularly and having experienced a couple of other casinos recently it bought it home as to how good this one in Westcliff really is. There are a wide selection of tables covering blackjack , three card poker and roulette plus a couple of other poker tables. We love the three card tables. There is also a craps table which is great fun once you learn to play it. Drinks are reasonably priced bearing in mind your surroundings. Both the bars get pretty busy at weekends so we often use the waitress service, its worth a tip to get your drinks bought over for you.The club was refurbished a few years ago and the new design has one end of the casino made into a more clublike environment. Personally i used to enjoy the old set up with music targeting a different audience, i spend most of my time at the tables though so it makes little diffference really. There are also lots of electronic slots and roulette machines plus a craps machine.Overall we love going here, its clean and tidy with friendly staff. What mustnt be under estimated is the security. As with all busy places in Southend there will always be the occasional idiot who wants trouble. It is very rare at Genting but if it does happen the professional security team act quickly. Its worth mentioning this because over the years its one of the things that has stood out at the club.A great night out , we keep going back as do many others.

I love to go to The Gentings with my friends, we're all single, and we always have a good night. A group of us were there again on Sunday. The Christmas menu was excellent, and only £24.99. The bar staff were extremely obliging, and make an awesome cocktail. Still haven't found Mr Right though.

Another Fantastic overnight stay to celebrate our Friends 50th Birthday....."Heatwave" Group was fantastic along with the Disco afterwards, Food as always was Great with good service.Fabulous evening had by everyone and to top it off the next day we had a Big Win on the old Slot Machines, which totally made our weekend.....

Had a great time. entertainment was brilliant, food and drinks were reasonable and staff were friendly . Could have stayed a lot longer, be back very soon.

Had dinner and then cocktails here on Sunday night. Food was exceptional amazing starters of Prawn and Crayfish with fabulous bread and my partner had a sublime goats cheese and onion tart. To follow we had Lamb Henry and the beef both were fantastic great choice of vegetables glazed carrots, roasted parsnips, broccoli and cauliflower cheese plus courgettes in a tomato sauce. We couldn't work out if there was a spice in this dish so one of the staff went and asked the kitchen. Next time we visit we will pass on this dish and probably change it for something else. We were both too full to have a sweet but we both had fabulous cocktails and coffee in the bar by the Restaurant. The staff were amazingly attentive nothing was too much trouble and we spent over three hours here.

Went to the curry and comedy night... fabulous!The staff were amazingly friendly on reception as was the young lady Ella who even came to find us in the casino when the rest of our party arrived and took us all down to the room where the food and comedy was to beThe food was great... 3 different types of curry... and loads of it! And poppadoms and chutney on the tables all eveningAs for the show itself ... fantastic!Sometimes comedians can be hit or miss but all three were brilliant... my sides and jaw hurt by the end of the evening! A very good night out... we ll definitely be back... oh and a £5 bet all included in the price of £20... very good valueSee you in January for the next one!

Set menu for Sunday lunch, one course was 7.95 and then extra for a starter and sweet. We had the beef and the lamb, both were superb, plenty of meat and very tender. Crisp Yorkshire pud, three roast potatoes and separate dishes if veg. Carrots with butter and garlic, ratatouille and cauliflower and broccoli with cheese sauce. Very good value for money.

As always we always make the most of our cheeky little visits to the Casino...Not a lot happening on the Slot Machines this time, but still made the most of it.

Our Sunday night visit to the casino was not a planned one but was very enjoyable and fun. We were served at the main bar by 2 young bar tenders Tony who was very chatty and cheerful. He made me the most amazing cocktail my favourite....mudslide. He was very proud of his skills and so he should be he made our evening very enjoyable. The other bar person was equally as lovely but I did not get her name (long curly hair) very cheerful. Will definitely be back very soon X thank you

Starter was pate, with crispy toast and red onion relish...Roast beef was delicious, so tender. Just enough vegetables.Staff very attentive and helpful... Even had lunch time music, which was an bonus......

Excellent so much more than just a casino. Including DJ, dance floor, cocktail bar, restaurant, roulette tables, craps tables, slots, blackjack and more.

Was staying over in Southend on a Sunday night so we planned to go to the Casino arrived at 9pm the bar area very quite so had a few drinks then hit the tables We played roulette and blackjack Staff very smart and polite a good night had and only £15 down for two of us and a couple of hours spent in there drink prices very reasonable

I have been a member here for years and eaten many times, never ever had a complaint and the service was exceptional as usual, we had the party package but about 9 people ordered the steak and we were all given the wrong steaks, mine was well done and only served with peas, no chips it was hardly difficult to get right but it was served medium, they did re cook it for me and one other person, of the 9 of us who ordered the steak 6 of them never ate it, it was fatty, cooked wrongly etc but my sister's dog is happy as they did wrap it up for her to take home, the rest of the food was lovely and this was very disappointing as you can usually count on the quality here. My other issue was paying £30 a bottle for Prosecco, very overpriced and I was not advised about the 10 percent service charge until I paid the bill.On the plus side we had a lovely evening as usual, shame about the food as I arranged it all and wanted everyone to have a fab time and enjoy their meal, those who had the pork were very happy no complaints .

Some friends of ours had said that they had eaten at the restaurant and found it very reasonable and nice so they booked a table for the four of us on my wife's birthday. It was a Monday night and they do a three course dinner from a set menu very reasonably. There was a good choice on the menu for each course so I could not fault it. For the price I was expecting small meals but the food was excellent. We had a table with a sea view and the service was very good. The drinks were not over the top so I would recommend the restaurant, I am sure we will visit it again.

I went to the casino with a group of friends for Sunday lunch. Live music with a singer. The food was excellent. Very tender piece of beef or lamb shank or half a chicken. I had the lamb which was very tender. The person next to me had beef. It was in one piece and looked very, very tender. The meat is served with roast potatoes and york shire pudding. The veg was served separately in dishes to share, cabbage with bits of gammon, glazed carrots and cauliflower with a sauce, lovely. A tip, do not asked for extra gravy unless you are prepared to pay a pound for a tiny jug. This was a bit of a shock when the bill came. But having said that, the main course was only £7.95, brilliant value. The location is superb, the casino is overlooking the sea. I am not sure if you have to be a member but it is worth joining the casino to be able to use the restaurant. I had a glass of very good Sauvignon Blanc which was a very reasonable price. The staff are very friendly and cheerful and the decor of the Casino is excellent. A very pleasant afternoon by the sea. good food and good wine.

I've visited the genting cloud many times for birthdays / stags and family functions . The standard of the club is as good as London and if you eat in the restaurant you will not be disappointed in the choice of meals to choose from all at a very reasonable price . Some nights they have a look a like act on stage all free of charge as well . You can if you wish sign up for lessons how to play some of the games on site if you fancy a flutter . Just have a look around you and before you give them all your hard earned cash guess who's paying for the lush surroundings you in . ITS YOU !!

2pm set meal was disappointing - although turkey was fine there was too much on the plate. Vegetarian ravioli! really? it was mainly just pasta we could have cooked at home nothing 'chef' like about it. Worse was the awful loud catterwalling from a singer and guitarist which ensured we could not enjoy our conversation with family over our meal and we left swiftly - sadly will not be booking there again for sometime.

Absolutely amazing food and extremely good value for the quality you get. Would definitely recommend. Went with a group of friends and the staff were so attentive and friendly.

Visited the Genting Club for Sunday lunch. We had an excellent meal, with great service from the staff. Approx £16 for three courses. Highly recommended for a good meal venue. Free parking in the members bays outside, log-in your registration at the door. Disabled access via eastern entrance lift. This venue is over 21's only, as attached to the casino, so no children running about. Eating here also gives you temporary casino membership, if wanted.

The place was packed, we had one of the packages on offer. Took a long time to get our tutorial. Food was pretty good. The bar staff were slow, and seemed inexperienced. Live singer was ok.An average night out.

We had organized a work 'do' to the casino. I'd never been and to be honest wasn't expecting much! However I was really impressed with the gorgeous, spacious dining area with views out to sea. There is disabled access to the dining part, the bar service was friendly and brisk prior to eating. The toilets were immaculate as well!We enjoyed a three course dinner with a free drink, free gamble and some other offers which made it very good value for money.Again I wasn't expecting that much but the food was absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. There are veggie options for each of the three courses but I went all out meat eater and thoroughly enjoyed the beef which melted in the mouth! The night we went it was buzzing with a live singer, a lively disco which actually played the kind of music I like to dance too, and the entertainment of watching people gamble eye watering amounts!I've already recommended this place to my parents for lunch during the week when I imagine it feels very different, but worth it for the glorious seafront views. I'd definitely return.

I had a lovely evening at the Genting Club, although a Casino, you don't need, or have to gamble, as there is plenty of seating in the bar and entertainment. This worked really well for us as those who wanted to gamble could wander off, and if you didn't want to gamble you could enjoy a drink and chat with friends - perfect!We had a meal, which was a set menu, when we sat down at 9pm, they had already run out of the seabass and so had a salmon alternative, the salmon was fine, but I had been looking forward to the seabass.Don't go for a meal here expecting a high quality meal however, the food was fine, but nothing to shout about and want you to return as it was so good, leave that to a place that is just a restaurant. This is a Casino, with additional elements, and while the restaurant serves its purpose, and serves more than edible food, it is not high end quality, just don't go with high expectations.All in all a very good evening, would recommend to anyone, gambler or not to give it a try, you will not be disappointed.

my mum and dad won a meal in a raffle for four people to use in the genting club so we went on a sunday for lunch the meal was very good quick service although we were in there early we had the option for a three course meal we all had the main which was roast dinner and was very good and good portions no one had a starters but we all had desserts and they to were also good. the main reason for this review is its one of the first places that i've been to with a meal voucher that was won in a raffle that they didn't say we could or couldn't have this or that. We got some drinks on the bill we had 2 ciders 2 beers florida orange and a wine spritzer as well. When we went to pay they didn't charge us for the drinks as they said we didn't really use the total value of the ticket how great was that that's what i call a business giving a meal for a charity raffle and not taking the micky.well done the GENTING CLUB i'll be seeing you soon.... for another meal and drinks.p.s The prices for other food there including bar food was very reasonable as well.

We regularly go to the Casino for Sunday lunch but this time decided to eat there before seeing a show. We had 2 courses for £12 and we could have had a bottle of wine with that for £10 although we chose not to.we had rump steak and chips which was nicely cooked and presented. Service was very good although they weren't too busy. For dessert we had pavlova and the honey and lemon pud both really delicious,got to recommend them!you don't have to be a member and its a good option as an alternative to fish and chips.

We randomly went for Sunday lunch as was sunny day and car parking along seafront a nightmare, then we remembered we were members so got a parking space here straight away. Was pleasantly surprised by the menu and the quick service we received. Felt a bit random being in a casino, but the view out to sea and The relaxed atmosphere made it a most enjoyable Lunchtime experience.

went here to have something to eat as we were to early to book into our hotel. it seems that they were a little put out as the order for sandwiches took at least 45 mins to arrive at the table. We asked for a packet crisps and these came tipped out on a plate with the sandwiches.We had a drink each (3 of us) and although no one else at the bar we were told they would be brought to the table (in lounge area) another 15 min wait. I think it was too early for their staff to be awake prob get better service in the evening although the sandwiches and drink were ok.

Loved the Sunday dinner I had there. Really good value and great food. Will be back for sure. You don't feel like your in a casino which is the nice part as its very seperate to the gaming.

Came here for a friends birthday with some other couples- had 3 course meal with a drink for £25 a head which I felt was good value and food was really nice, nothing amazing but good all the same, live band very good but didn't like how busy it became- think had something to do with boxing on but had to fight through crowds just to get to toilets and 20 minute wait at the bar for drink but like I said properly was because of fight on- would return just hope a little quieter

Service was a little disjointed. For example we had two separate staff try to take our orders, we were given the dessert menu before our mains had arrived etc. It wasn't always easy to get attention. The starters were lovely and arrived without incident. When our mains came they had forgotten one of our party. The rest of us had to start without him because his order was only just going into the kitchen. My fillet was gorgeous and cooked perfectly but my husband's rib eye should have been medium rare and was well done so that had to go back. This meant two of our party were not eating with the rest of us. Staff were apologetic but we had to argue about having one of the meals taken off of the bill. That's not how to treat customers when you've made two errors that have caused the party to have to eat separately.Food quality was excellent but service errors combined with lack of willingness to want to make amends made this a less enjoyable experience.

Not enough tables open so over crowded at the tables so hard to make any bets without being pushed around. There were tables that could have be opened up. Bar service in casino was very slow only 2 bar staff on at time I was trying to get a drink.

What a great meal we all had of roast beef, roast lamb and a salmon loads of veg very tasty and hot. A great place to eat a fantastic views out to sea and we had a singer as well singing some great tunes can't recommend this place enough been before and will be back very good value for money thank you Genting Club well done again

Good food and drinks with no loud music and a great place to go for a chat and a little flutter if you want to but it's worth going just to watch others playing the tables

Great food. Had roast beef. So tender. All the trimmings. Loads of fresh veg. Great views over the Thames estuary. Definitely return

The food is of such a high quality and the atmostphere is so relaxed. The evening was fabulous, visited the tables after our meal - the evening flew by. Would recommend on a Friday or Saturday in particular. I also visited for my birthday, they catered for a large table easily and again, the food was phenomenal.

Have just experienced my 1st Genting Comedy and Curry night and I can definitely say I'll be going again.. such amazing value, not only great food but fantastic entertainment in a great setting. I can honestly say we did not stop laughing.. a much enjoyed night out!!
