Gaucho Piccadilly in City of London, Westminster

The food was phenomenal. Loved the outside sitting area. One of the best steaks ive had. The staff were amazing. Our son has autism and could not eat his burger with tomato even with it taken off because of the red it left on the bun, he also wouldnt eat his fries with the green seasoning. They so kindly remade his food for him and interacted with him so nicely. The manager came by and brought him juice and the waiter talked with him about a few spanish words he is learning. A+++ staff and food.

Steak is always amazing and had some great recommendations from the staff there. The cheesecake is probably the best cheesecake I've had this year. We went for my parents anniversary and they gave my parents a free cheesecake which was also nice. I normally get chips but today I got the mash with mushroom butter, it was a great decision. Absolutely amazing! The waiter was funny and knowledgeable. He talked us through the meat and gave us good food pairing recommendations. All in all, a great night!

Exceptionally good steaks and sides. Very glad we found this place, as it is the best steaks we have had so far. Will definitely return, and probably try the big sharing platter of meat, because we just didn't want the meat to end (^^,)

I had dinner at gaucho and everything was amazing. The food was 10/10 but what really topped it off was the excellent service we received from our waitress Africa, so detailed, polite, attentive and friendly she really made our visit.

Love this place! Great food and atmosphere. Will be coming back again when in the UK.

Coming from the US, where steaks are a highlight of the local food fare, I was curious about an Argentinian ribeye cut in London. First, the restaurant atmosphere was great and the staff were welcoming and attentive. Going mid-week it wasn't too busy. The food turnaround from ordering to being served was fast. The ribeye, my evenings highlight, was good but not extensively different from a good cut in Colorado. This doesn't mean it was bad. It just didn't stand out. Maybe for the local populace who have to endure the UK "roast" as a protein choice versus a good steak, it would be something to remember but for me who is admittedly spoiled in the US for steak choices, it was good but not amazing. I will return on my next visit to London but I'll try another item from the menu that others seemed to enjoy. Recommended.

It was my second time having dinner here, never disappointed Best meat, lovely service provided by Silvia, she advised the best wine for our meal. I will ask for Silvia next time.

DON’T VISIT IF YOU HAVE AN ALLERGY! Second terrible experience at Gaucho. Seems to be a problem with the chain because visited Leeds a couple of years ago and had a similar experience. Booked and paid a deposit weeks in an advance for a group of people. Arrived for my friends birthday dinner, to be greeted with a £75 set menu with no choice to dine with Al a Carte. After we asked for the Al a carte menu several times, told they did not cater for big groups with the Al a carte and we had to dine with 3 courses. After stern negotiations they finally agreed to letting us eat from the normal menu. The waiter did not ask about my allergies, something experienced in a previous gaucho, allergies are not a concern for the chain. When food arrived, order was incorrect and when we informed the waiter they were rude and disagreed. Asked for salt and pepper and it never came to the table, forgot other stuff ordered eg sides. Had to ask for the sauces for the steak after it had already arrived. Even though the outside area was completely empty, I was told I could not sit there to smoke my Vape and had to stand in the pouring rain. Please see photo attached. Considering gaucho aims to provide a quality service, I am quite shocked by the consistently POOR quality of service. It’s a shame because the steak was really good, but the experience was tarnished by rude waiting staff being condescending.

Had an amazing experience here. Silvia was fantastic at getting us settled and answering any questions. She made the dinner feel easy and hassle free. Ordered 2 cuts of steak (fillet and ribeye) easily one of the best steaks I’ve had in years. Calm atmosphere to enjoy an intimate dinner in the heart of London. Couldn’t go wrong here 💯

Honestly, more appearance than reality. Food was basically. The place looks nice but has no character, no soul. Service was friendly and nice. You can, but you don't have to.

We went today to celebrate my husband birthday. The food was amazing. Liz was a fantastic girl.she is a amazing person. She is very kind and helpful. My husband and myself had a fantastic time. Everyone is a friendly and reliable service. We recommend to eat a steak very delicious. We will came back.

I came here for a weekend brunch, the service was so on point, it was almost two on point. For example, we arrived at 1:00 p.m. and buy 1:25 p.m. we had already had two rounds of drinks and to starters each. Although this was great service compared to other restaurants who would keep you waiting 45 minutes for starters, it felt somewhat rushed, but there was only 90 minutes allocated for brunch to make use of the inclusivity of starters and drinks. I had steak, egg and chips for my main. This was the only dish I would pick on to say that it was somewhat smaller than what I was expecting. Almost like half a minute steak, however, it was tasty and because of the amount of constant starters we had I almost didn't have room for a full size steak anyway. Overall a really nice experience for brunch in Central London, just behind Regent Street. It would have just been nicer if we could have taken our time a little bit, but other than that a fabulous venue and great tasting food.

Today I went to celebrate my birthday. The place is beautiful and the waitress Liz is a fantastic girl.is very kind friendly. And also very professional in her work. Congratulations for the nice staff. I put 5 starts for food service and atmosphere. I will recommend.

Accustomed to trendy places, I was very disappointed with this establishment. The quality of the meat is of "good" quality but the service as well as the desserts are very much in need of review. We were lucky enough to be served by a French waiter who was adorable, otherwise the others were very rude. Too bad to have so many service charges, for a service that is non-existent. I would not come back and I do not recommend!

I have been to Goucho brunch a few times previously and the food was always amazing. Lots of small plates of delicious food, lots of choice and all hot and fresh. This seems to have CHANGED . It’s now a set selection of 4, not very nice starters, pre made…for example, “bruschetta” soggy , really cold and with browning avocado puree. Not nice at all. You get to pick a main , which was ok, steak and fries and a dessert (I had a cold pancake) which was also not good. Very very disappointing and I will not be booking again. Why did you change ? I would always recommend Goucho brunches but not anymore.

We came for our anniversary and it was a nice experience. The service was impeccable, great food and good atmosphere. They even gave us a complimentary cheesecake to celebrate.

Unfortunately this visit to Gaucho Piccadilly resulted in me having a night of sickness. Been here three times now and the previous two occasions have been really good. However on this occasion my wife enjoyed her experience but I suffered badly. We shared everything we ordered except the steaks so I can only put it down to the meat. Not a fun time, ruined the next day for me as well. We visit London several times a year but we won't be visiting Gaucho again.

Lovely place, food was good, but the main was literally delivered what felt like seconds after finishing our starters…felt a bit rushed and I would have appreciated a little bit of a gap between courses…Chips were very salty Asked for a carafe of wine and got just one glass…was charged accordingly.

Had dinner at Gaucho with friends. I love how the atmosphere is classy and warm at the same time. The food was delicious. I don't think I've ever met a Gaucho steak i didn't love. Had a meal in your restaurant tonite booked through top table at 4.45pm arrived at 4.55 and there was no one front of house after 5 minutes a young lady turned up took my name and showed me to my table in the Spanish room which was freezing cold. We ordered our food with Manwell who was friendly We ordered two steaks and three sides Well one steak was cold as were the sides How do the kitchen manage to send out cold food we were the only people eating in the restaurant You expect the food to come out together hot and ready to eat The manager who did not give me his name told me he would report this to the head chef whom was not on tonite I asked for bill but to be truthful I did not expect to be charged for any of this lopsided cold meal I was only charged for one steak which was eaten and enjoyed but it should have come with the accompanying dishes at the same time. All hot not cold and sitting around for ages. When the did resend out the sides they were piping hot. Which is a shame as it shows that they can deliver hot food to the table. Overall this was a terrible experience and a disappointment for myself and wife and my evening was ruined

Returned for dinner and was even more disappointed the steak was cold the fries were cold and so was the broccoli we were the only ones in the restaurant how do the kitchen manage to send out cold food it was terrible.

couldn’t recommend gauchos enough! our waiter Yan was extremely helpful and attentive the service was amazing. the food was even better! everything was tasty and delicious and cooked perfectly.

I’ve been to Gaucho’s Piccadilly before, so this was a return visit with my sister and niece to celebrate all our birthdays as they are close together. From entering Gauchos we were warmly welcomed, taken to our table and handed over to Yan to serve us. He was incredible, attentive but not overbearing, extremely polite, and very happy to make recommendations if we’re weren’t sure about something. My sister was very impressed with the service and the food which is good when you have chosen where to eat before attending the show. The final hit was a surprise dessert for us all for our birthdays. All I can say is if I could mark our experience higher than 5 stars I would. Will return again next time I am in London

We had a family lunch here on a Sunday. The atmosphere was buzzy but not too loud. The decor feels a little dated and the finishes a little tired. The service was attentive and friendly although we felt that they could’ve done with one or two more staff to move things along. The steaks were delicious, perfectly cooked and full of flavor. Overall, it was a great experience, although you definitely pay for it - and we’ve had much more luxurious and upscale meals for the same price.

Went to Gauchos in Piccadilly and was served by Federica in the bar on the top floor. What Fantastic service and she an asset to Gauchos. She is so friendly who made our evening so much more enjoyable.

A great night with a great food. We ordered The Goucho Sampler and it was a festive of delicious meat. Not for the soft hearted people😅. The manager and the Italian waiter were amazing too.

Food was excellent however the cocktails were not good, weak and sweat from a tap. Not very attentive in the drinks we were constantly trying to get their attention to order another

Service end to end is impeccable. From the moment you walk up to the entrance you are warmly welcomed by every member of staff you encounter. You feel VIP throughout the dinning experience which is set in a well maintained very modern, expensive feeling style. Staff are friendly, always on hand but not over bearing, highly knowledgable and experienced and recommend/ guide you every step to ensure you come away completely satisfied. Have been a number of times on dates, groups and business and the experience is always top notch. If you have yet to try do not hesitate. You will not be disappointed.

Perfect atmosphere, great service

Steaks are good. Wines overpriced for the quality and service is dead slow+clueless. Took them 30min to fulfill a simple order of bottled beer when one was set down. Another 30 to deliver scallops and a bottle of red. The bill however was quick ;)

Worst service ever. I’ve been there before and it was great but last night the bar was set too low for me even to return again.

I took my sister here for her birthday and found that for the price the food wasn’t great. Not only were the side order portions really small the Mac n cheese was flavourless. The steak didn’t live up to the hype.The cocktails are served in the smallest glasses possible. The table next to us was incredibly loud, many of the guests very drunk and screaming. Nothing was done about this. Our waiter wasn’t very attentive and any request for another drink, sauce or salt were met with a sour face, as if we were inconveniencing him. Not too impressed unfortunately.

A really nice way to spend our anniversary. The ambience in the bar and restaurant was relaxing and chilled , the food was excellent and our waiter and service was extremely good.

It was average very disappointing. Service was poor. Felt like you was disturbing the staff by asking for something. No smiles very poor service. Food was average. Definitely not going back again. Can see why they had lots of tables available.tony

Amazing location, great big venue with lovely terrace to finish off the meal with few Negronis. Highly recommended.
