Their rooms are very clean and organise, nice receptionist and also very polite on phone. Available on phone immediately when you call and price also very affordable. Attached is the picture of the Holiday Inn which I spend the night of breaking the 06.04.2024. I recommend this Hotel to any Tourist Planing to visit Birmingham for holiday. Nice location

Really enjoyed our stay we had for the Bank Holiday race meeting. Our room was good; clean and spacious and plenty of sockets and wardrobe space plus we were overlooking the parade ring! Every single member of staff we came in contact with were professional and very chirpy friendly. Food was good too, especially that fabulous breakfast 😋

Great friendly staff at this holiday inn at a racecourse. Seems out of town but doesn't take too long to get in. Bonus of a ev charger and it was quiet. Rooms are fine but can imagine hotel on race days very busy Breakfast is very good really enjoyed it after a concert in town and got back without a kebab in hand. One I'd return to.

Great night racing and a good nights sleep lovely breakfast as well. We will be back.

The food is OK and the Service is excellent.Very comfortable and enjoyable watching the racing from the restaurant.The quality of the food is average,our starter the ham hock tart had hard pastry ,the sea bass was good and the sweet OK. My wife's beef was a little tough not the best and our coffees were only luke warm. The food quality needs improvement.Otherwise an enjoyable day.I think the Hotel needs a make over .The actual racing facilities are excellent.

Great location for the races Rooms were a bit dated and stains on walls ceilings and doors No conditioner Hairdryer didn't work All this was reported to reception But they did an ok breakfast for the cost.

This place is absolutely terrible and the amount of disrespect we received is unacceptable. Although the receptionist was very helpful, the rest of the so called ‘hotel’ was a pure disgrace. We ordered some food and waited a good hour for it to arrive. The food arrived and not only was it cold, but even my dog wouldn’t eat this. It was absolutely disgusting and this was the first time in my life when I had to complain about it and ask for a refund as I refused to eat something so revolting. The rooms were filthy and cold, the bathrooms look like they haven’t been cleaned in years and the stench is unbearable. Avoid this place!!

For a budget hotel it offers a lot ... excellent position literally in the racecourse so plenty of green open space around you. Friendly, helpful staff. Clean rooms serviced daily ...breakfast is plentiful and varied.

Lovely location ideal for races

Been here a few times for the firework display. Great place to take kids and lots to do. I was really looking forward to the bonfire but for some reason this year they didn't have one.

Only went in to use the lift but the staff were excellent

Went here for the Halloween tattoo bash...considering the amount of ppl attending and artists there was ample free parking

A good place for me to stop if I'm in town to watch Wolves play. Walkable distance to the Molineux, plenty of parking and if you get a room, a parade facing room is good on race day.

L'hôtel est isolé de la ville, nécessité d'avoir une voiture. La propreté de la chambre est bien mais la literie une horreur ! C'est lamentable dans un hotel d'avoir des matelas aussi pourris ! Le bruit chambre mal isolé entre enfants qui crient et incivilités ce n'est pas la bas que vous allez vous reposer. Le cadre est très beau par contre et le personnel aimable. Ne vous attendez pas à un hotel haut de gamme, bien dommage. Pas d'eau dans les chambres c'est la base !

Staff very accomodating especially Kye and reception staff whose name I forget. In terms of security the corridor doors needs some attention.

Great holiday inn, ample parking, literally a stone's throw from the racecourse and friendly staff. Happily recommend.

Descent hotel but quality service. Really lovely welcome from Megan at the front desk and we then was met by an amazing woman named Jackie Harpeep, in the bar area. Jackie was extremely helpful and amazing with children, she literally went above and above and beyond. Thank you so much.

Not the standard you expect from a Holiday Inn but friendly staff and a great location. If you are in to horse racing than this is the perfect spot......as long as there is a meeting on the day you are staying 😀

It's ok would not rate it 5star

Stayed just the one night but all the staff, without exception, were brilliant. Very attentive. Even at night when I asked to move to another room (some noise coming from people sitting outside the bar at the back) they couldn't have helped more to get me to a quieter room at the front of the hotel. I've stayed at a number of Holiday Inns and, in terms of staff, none were better than Wolverhampton racecourse

Rooms were on the small side, TV channel selection was poor, and the WiFi was sub standard

I stayed here for work and it’s isolated from shops and local amenities, but fine if you drive. The room was relatively clean, but there was a faint whiff of pee by the loo, which on the one hand is where that smell should be, but on the other, indicates that a good deep clean in and around the toilet is needed. I had a hair dryer and iron at my disposal, as well as a kettle and complimentary teas, coffee etc. The best thing about this hotel was the lovely, polite and helpful staff. I was greeted every morning and evening with a really warm smile and a quick chat, which was most welcomed especially when you’re away from home and all that’s familiar to you. Surprisingly, the food was really good too! Although choice was a bit limited for non meat eaters, what was on offer was a good sized portion, fresh and well prepared. I’m not a huge fan of chips, but these where nice, crispy and how I imagine the ideal chip to be! I’d return to this Holiday Inn.

Really nice room. Very clean which is always what I look at most.Staff from the coffee and bar staff to the security were really friendly and very helpful. Obviously incredibly handy for the racecourse. First time I've been though my husbands visited before. I would definitely have no hesitation in coming again, and would recommend it.

Well if you want to go to the races, this the place. The hotel is part of the main buildings. An all weather course floodlit and they have up to 80 meets a year!

Always get a nice welcome everytime we have stayed here. The room was lovely and the aircon ensured the room stayed at a nice temperature. The breakfast was great. They even went out of there way to make us some vegetarian sausages which were very tasty! I would highly recommend this place. I won't mention that I would be happy to pay more, just in case they read this!

Good location for the racing with views over the parade ring. Plenty of parking on site The rooms are smaller and not as well equipped as those of Hilton and Marriott.

This hotel is well placed for travelling football fans - 20 min walk to Molineux. Really friendly helpful and professional staff throughout. We had an evening meal which was very good quality and value for money. An enjoyable stay.

We stayed here for the horse racing, we had a room overlooking the parade ring. Room was lovely, bed was super comfy. Breakfast in the morning was delicious aswell. Will definitely stay again.

Service for me was brilliant. Lovely and friendly, yet professional too. Rooms a little tired as are the stairs and walkways. The room heating and cooling has one setting..... The one you cannot control!

My local Course. I live in Uttoxeter. Course is great although quite expensive to get in at times. £32 on New Years Day!! On the big race days the drunken yobo element seems to be prevelent. At getting on for £5a pint they must have money to burn!!! At times it's an uncomfortable atmosphere have seen many fights break out recently!!! Shame as love the Course!!

Lady called Tess (kitchen/bar staff) not sure.. .but she was absolutely amazing, very polite and attentive to guests. She went above and beyond. However the cleanliness in the room was absolutely appalling, you have cards in the rooms to say "clean means clean to us", or something of that nature, I have actually never been to a dirtier place, when I checked, whilst unpacking I dropped something on getting down to pick it , under the bed was a small container which I opened and there was dry lotion in it, it made me wonder how long that room hadn't been hoovered for, there was dust everywhere, the least that can be done is hoover. The amount of cobwebs in that room....I have no clue how long that room had been vacant, we took pictures and showed it to reception who asked a cleaner to go and clean the room, all she came with was a small spray bottle with some liquid inside and a cloth, we went out for a drive to enable her to clean the room but came back and it still didn't look clean, cobwebs were still there and more above our beds which we hadn't noticed earlier. I have stayed in numerous Holiday Inns but that one for me was the worst...please give training on cleaning or look at your policies or employ more cleaning staff, in these times of covid I don't really want to book into a hotel room to find dry semi used lotion containers and tissues under the bed, even your reception staff Gill was appalled when we showed her the pictures but unfortunately nothing was done, so your cleaning department has really let you down

My expectations were perhaps too high. In reality, the efforts at cleanliness were visible but not up to hotel standards. It is more like bed and breakfast! There was dust in places and unsightly hanging cables under the dressing table. The beddings were clean and a TV in the rooms added to a sense of hospitality but still the place felt tired and worn. The coffee was great. Breakfast was typical, that is, cereal, beans on toast sausages, etc. A bar complements the residential experience. There is good parking space and marked efforts to be covid-19 compliant.

The hotel itself was generally good. Parking was excellent and mercifully free. Accommodation is maybe just a little tired around the edges. It was unfortunate that the lift was broken down as we had two disabled people in our party. The bath in our room was rather short for a relaxing soak and the room too hot when we arrived. Maybe better this way on a cold day than trying to warm the room up though. However, the location was also very quiet and the window opened while I cooled my room to a more comfortable level and I was able to leave it open overnight without being disturbed. Not something you can do in most chain hotels these days and with Covid about that is unfortunate. Room was very clean. The staff were the highlight of the stay, absolutely excellent and genuinely warm right from greeting us, incredibly apologetic about the lift and offered to help us with baggage and even offered to help carry one of our party upstairs. Bar service was excellent and the ladies at breakfast incredibly accommodating. Breakfast was really good and not churned out on an industrial scale. Holiday Inn is not a brand I would normally consider but after this stay I would definitely use this particular hotel again and be more open to this brand.

I have stayed in this Hotel for 8 months, and have nothing but praise for all the staff, Ashley, Rob, Mia on tonight. You can imagine the consternation when some woman called Jackie P from the race course told them off for talking to the 3 customers in the bar / restaurant! Disgraceful abuse of her position, in front of customers. Stuart Palmer.

Superb, Excellent customer service by all the staff especially the reception team for booking myself and my guests in at short notice.. My Surname is Loftus booked in 11/12/2021-12/12/2021 and I would very much like the hotel management to acknowledge the effort they made to go the extra mile and support us.

Horse racing with great food! Recommended!

Bonfire night was waste of time mine & partner time. Unorganised, no bon fire, fireworks show was 20mins late. Nobody checked our tickets on my hand bag🤔😡🥱.

Helpful staff and a comfortable hotel

Expect its manic on race days! The staff very friendly, especially the elderly lady, Jackie BEM, a character! Rooms tidy (Welsh expression for excellent). Its a 20 minute walk into town. Avoid UBER, rip off. Get local taxi, less than half what UBER charge. Hotel food is hotel food, its OK. Recommend Indigo for excellent Indian meal experience.

Convenient location, good clean rooms and pleasant staff

Course is great, but way too many restrictions and services on offer, I know this place to have the infrastructure but due to Covid most things are still not on offer

Perfect location for the racing and also other events in Wolverhampton. Will stay here again. Only think to watch drinks priced in the bar are rather pricey, especially spirits. Clean and comfortable recommended

Apparently racehorse owners have to access the Racecourse via Holiday Inn Reception, thou it is not well sign posted

I wanted to stay at this hotel,it looks very nice but tried endlessly to call the hotel with no joy, very disappointed.. hopefully if I do stay , customer service will be alot better....
